My name is vishal k p, from kerala. I booked zoomcar rental car for 7th july 2020, but due to the travel restrictions, i had to cancel my booking on 23rd june 2020. As per the booking, i payed a total of 3143 rupees using my netbanking service. As per zoomcar refund policy, the payments made through netbanking will reflect back within 15 days of the cancellation. But in my case, its been 2 months since my cancellation and i haven't received my refund. I tried calling their customer care with a toll free number provided in the internet, later the number was found unreachable. I raised several complaints though their mobile app and website, still no response.
My booking details are as follows:
Booking id: jps6n1wz4
Trip date: 7th july 2020
Cancellation date: 23rd june 2020
Please help me in receiving the full refund as soon as possible.

    Its been 2 months and I have not got my refund back.
    Zoom Car has only cancelled my booking saying car met with an accident and they do not have any car at that time.
    From then I am following up with them at least 70 times and have not got the proper and correct information about the refund.
    Every time I get only excuses stating - your money will be back in 2 weeks, 1 week, 48 hours. etc etc.
    According to zoom car policy money will be refunded back in 16-23 days but its been 2 and half month since then and no refund is happening.
    Why to provide false information to the customer and not returning the money of the person?

    IS THERE ANYTHING THAT THAT YOUR COMPANY IS LOYAL TO BECAUSE WHAT I CAN SEE IS THEY ARE NOT MEETING THEIR POLICY ONLY AND LEAVING THE CUSTOMER FRUSTRAED AND DISAPPOINTED instead

      Cancelled booking JPS6NKH5R on 20th may, a month before the date of journey.
      Its been 3 months now and i haven't received a refund of 27489.

      They don't answer calls and response to my emails is always the same " we are working on it and will share an update in 2 weeks".

        Can u please update me when I'll get my refund
        It's been months now...no update on refund amount.

        It might be small case for u but for me in this situation its really huge,

        I tried to reach out your team several times and no update from your side,

        One month post cancellation, one o[censored]r executive roshini informed me that amount will be credited to my account in 2 weeks

        Hell it's more than 4 months now...
        How long you want me to wait..

        It's really painful when there is no update and this kind of cases will be basis to lose trust on zoom car..

        Also be aware ...not only refund...even my security deposit also you guys are holding for more than months

        Is there any value for your own policies and Is this a fair way to treat your customer's trust

        Please provide a date...it doesn't make sense when u dont call out a date...as u are holding up deposit fee as well

        Upon no response with a valid date, I hav no option other than raising this in consuner forum
        See can u provide a date...else I might need to approach consumer redresssal forum..as doesn't make sense when u hold my deposit fee as well which is supposed to be refunded upon my cancellation

          Invalid Refuelling charges 229/- has been added to my account and when I try to contact you people, customer care number is not working tried many times u people are fraudsters thiefs how come u people can add invalid charges and loot customers i returned the vehicle at same level as I received at start of trip. U can check the uploaded images of start it was below 5% and also ur executive person mentionted no fuel in the car during start of my trip how come u people can approve it 10% starting fuel u can check start and end uploaded images in zoom car. I'm so disappointed with ur service I think I have to change the rental car service to some other.

            Hi,

            I had cancelled my booking id jds6n1wjn on may14th and i was supposed to get back my full booking amount of 6818 rs. It is been a more than 3 months, i didn’t receive the money still. Customer support team is not responding and they are saying that there is some issue because of lockdown. How come the issue is not there while receiving the booking amount and it is there only when refunding?

              We have booked a car on 11th july 20 with security deposit of 3000. Even after more than 30 days refund not received and customer care lazy people informing again and again 10 days for processing. I will not recommend anybody zoom because of this issue and they are cheating customers by simply informing refund will be within 7 days.

              We are waiting for the last 45 days. Same response getting from your side. Because of this issue we booked cab 3 times with other cab companies. If you are doing same thing in other refunds it will be a problem for customers to book the cab again with you.

              Any updates on the refund? Still waiting for the refund. Almost 60 days gonna complete. Whether you will process it or not. We are informing all of our contacts to not book car with Zoomcar. They will loose their money unnecessary. Cheaters

                On zoomcar, i have cancelled booking apr 15 booking id jps6n03ji. Amount ₹15, 305, 4 months over another booking id jps6nyb6i cancelled by zoomcar itself on 12 jun and amount ₹3507. Both the cancelled booking, zoomcar is not refunding amount. Customer care simply answering wait for 2 weeks all the time. To refunds.. Very very worst service,

                  I have booked zoomcar from 4th july 2020 to 9yh july 2020. Booking id is jps6n53b7. I have paid rs 7499. Trip charge is rs 4400. Security deposit is rs 2999.
                  My booking completed on 9th july, but till now i haven't got the refund amount of rs 2999.
                  I have called 20 times to zoomcar, they just say there is some software glitch and i will get refund in 15 days. No response on emails.
                  Now phone not even connecting to them.
                  Zoomcar customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                    - i am frustrated and don't know how to procure my money. Being in the midst of a pandemic even we have our ends to meet, and companies like zoomcar make it even difficult without returning customers' money when they didn't even use any of their services.

                      money not refunded since more than 60 days. fraudulent customer support.

                      It has already been more than 2 months and zoomcar is not refunding amount nor answering phonecalls related to refunds. Refund of ₹2562 is pending since 13th june 2020. I'm in urgent need of money due to the current pandemic situation and the zoomcar support is not even replying to the mails and queries even in the contact us section. They listed a broken down car in the first place and had no other option to cancel and refund full amount...

                      I have taken a 36 months subscription from zap zoomcar for e2o plus (Electric) dl1na3104 starting on 14 feb 2020.
                      Apart from the ac problem the documents of the vehicle and insurance were expired in may.
                      I get a email on 27th may on reply to my compliment and i was told that the vehicle is under downtime till 31st may. But there it was not mentioned from when it is in downtime.
                      On 22nd june i got another mail stating that the vehicle is under downtime till 31st june.
                      In july the zap executive took the car from my house and i haven’t received it till today.
                      When i asked zap zoomcar through email regarding the vehicle availability they told me that the vehicle is blocked for documentation and there is no replacement vehicle and i should wait and they will provide me with the vehicle soon.
                      After waiting i asked them again as it’s very difficult to commute with the vehicle. I asked them if they cannot provide me the vehicle then why don’t they cancel my subscription and refund me my security.
                      After this request i get a call from some zap executive that i need to pay some penalty for the subscription cancellation as i am cancelling the subscription by my own.
                      Under the downtime period they charged me with subscription fees for may when my car was in downtime.
                      They are not able to provide me with the vehicle i subscribed for and they are forcing me to remain in the contact for 3 years without any clear answer as when will they provide me with a vehicle. I am stuck and have no vehicle to carry on my daily work to make a earning for my family.
                      I can’t make some other arrangements and i am stuck with zap. If they cancelled the subscription from their side on their inability to provide me with the vehicle.

                        The last booking i had was cancelled as I couldn’t show my aadhar card. By my driving license was well uploaded and i had a loads of trips before. The thing is its not good to hold someones money for more than 7 days. We have to earn every single penny.

                        I am a doctor and at this pandemic time ZOOM car guys are holding rs5100 from last 14 days.
                        I could have done another booking with that 5100.
                        There is written that they gonna return the money within 2 days if its has been paid from any wallet.

                        I am filling an fIR here and lets see what happens.

                        Its written that if the payment has been done though paytm wallet it would take 24 to 48 hrs.
                        And the day i did my booking at night when they told me it woud be refunded in 14 days.

                              HI Team,
                              I have been trying to connect to Zoomcar customer care to resolve my issue but its impossible to connect to their customer care over the phone.
                              I have posted my concern on Zoomcar facebook page but again no help.(Snapshot attached below)
                              I talked to Zoomcar customer care executive over the call on 18th June 2020 and i was informed it will be done in 2 weeks but again no response and i haven't been able to connect with them on call since then.(Snapshot of number from which the executive called me is attached below).
                              I even wrote them email on the [protected]@zoomcar.com but the reply i received on this email was "Please contact us from the "Contact us" section from our website".(snap shot of email as well as reply attached below.)
                              I visited Zoomcar website to connect with them on the website page and raised a complaint for security refund and i was told i will be contacted in 24 hours but again no response.(Snapshot of "Contact us" page is attached below.)

                              I am writing this email to let you know that my security refund of Rs5000 is due for more than 2 months now despite multiple reminders.

                                I have made several follow-ups to zoom cars on Facebook for more than 3 months but have not yet received my refund.
                                I am very frustrated by your careless behavior. I need my money within a day else will file a complaint.

I have not yet received a good response from your end in facebook replies. They said we are working, but to date, I have not received my cash.

                                      Address: B6/A2, Rajparis Harmony, Surya Nagar, Medavkkam, Chennai - 600100

                                      1. Hired car for delivery at my door step on 1st jun'20 (Id: jps6nyh8m)
                                      2. Car was booked for 9:30 am until 6:30 pm, got delivered to me at 12 noon around and i closed the booking around 8 pm same day evening.
                                      3. Delivery person informed to utilize car for excess hours as it was mistake from the delivery side.

                                      1. I was charged for excess hours.
                                      2. Security refund not initiated for the booking made till date for booking on 1st jun'20 (Id: jps6nyh8m)

                                      1. Refund security deposit
                                      2. Refund excess hours penalty
                                      3. Any excess km can be claimed from security deposit
