Hi,

This is to inform you that i have rented a car on july 24th in bangalore and the car drops at hyderabad in july25th. The booking was inter state drop off with fuel charge reimbursement. The car was dropped off before the agreed upon time and a refund was supposed to be credited to my account within 48hrs of drop off as per their sms and email messages. Zoomcar app also mentions that refunds will be processed within 3-10 days. However, the refund is still not processed and my credit card payment date is fast approaching. I called zoomcar customercare care and their response is stereotype saying “ sorry for the inconvenience” with no definite answer on when my refund will be credited. The excuse they have is because of pandamic they are unable to process the payment. When they were able to process my payment immediately when i rented the car why can’t they do the same while refunding the amount? Aren’t we living in a digital world where everything is processed digitally? I think zoomcar is just cheating the public with wrong information. I am attaching their refund processing timeline from their app for your reference.

Zoomcar should be taught a lesson for falsely advertising and cheating people.

      I have booked a car from zoomcar for 22nd may 2020 under their 100% cashback offer booking id jps6no9yn (In which we can cancel the book with no charge condition is there) of rs 8247.

      Due to covid-19 pendamic, i have canceled my booking on 2nd april 2020 and asked for a refund. First, of all, they don't have any proper number for the after booking or cancel booking related issues. So i have emailed them regarding a refund. They said because of the system down they will give a refund within 15 days. But i am not getting my refund yet. I have email so many times but not getting any response from their end.

      I have checked and found there are many customers who have same issue. Zoomcar doesn't want to give any refund to its customers.

        I booked a car on 23rd july. Cancelled it on 24th july and booked a different car. But the refund amount of 10268 is not yet processed. Initially they told me to wait for 2 weeks and now the company is telling me to wait for 30 more days. I've lost trust in this company and i need help getting my money back.

        It has been more than 45 days and still no refund. Zoomcar doesn't respond except with empty assurances. What should I do next ?
        Today is October 17, it's been almost 3 months. Still no update.

          I have completed my trip on 5th June 20120. Till now refund has not taken place. During the initial trials, I could speak to customer care twice in two weeks after lot of trials. They said it will be refunded in one week time. No response after that. I tried the customer care number lot of times. Tried on this number also..."[protected]". No response.

          There are no options in the IVR to speak to customer care. Wrote my complaint through the APP so many times. But no response till now.

          I don't see a way. Please extend your help if possible.

            I had done a booking with Zoom Car in Feb 2020 when they advertised their offers and it was really good offer. But then pandemic came and the booking was cancelled well before time. The refund is still pending. No one is giving a call back from Zoom Car. Are they running away with our hard earned money ?

              I have cancelled my booking on 27th june, 2020 and following up for my refund amount since the. Today is 9th august, 2020 and i haven’t received my refund yet. When i am mailing them everytime they says “we understand your concern, we shall inform you when refund initiated. When i call they says it will take 2 week for refund. I dnt understand why so much time they are taking to refund my money???

                Seriously this people are so fake 😡😡😡 Now its almost a three months still this guys are trying for refund... Thats our money which we are asking this guys to give us if this guys don't have capacity to handle this issue don't start this kind business this people are blocking us from everywhere let's see how many id and phone number they will block. B_id _#JPS6NYQ8X I had already done consumer complaint on them this is second time but i know this guys dont care bcoz i had seen there also so many frustrated people are waiting in a queue.. Shame yaar

                  On july 2 2020 i booked zoom car through app. Because of their inconvenience they asked to cancel, so we cancelled as per their knowledge.
                  Still we didnt recieved refund amount. They said they will refund within 15 days, but it's more than a month.

                    I've to attend a marriage of my friend in chandigarh so i booked a zoomcar xuv500 and along with me 5 more people were going in that car. I made the booking 24hrs in advance. Payment made, got the booking id and everything was fine. Then i opened zoom app to check booking status but it wasn't opening so i contacted customer care, the only option showed to contact them was email and i did that but since i didn't have much time to wait for the reply i googled their number and called them.
                    Call connected they asked to elaborate the issue, i did then they told me that even they are not able to open the booking id due to some technical issue so asked me to try after some time.
                    I waited 2 hours but same issue. Again called them elaborated everything and they said they raised a complaint and asked me to wait 30 mins for a callback from team. Waited 1 hour no callback. Again called them explained them, was told same thing to wait. This kept on repeating 5 times but no callback.
                    At last received a callback from someone from any personal number who asked me to send documents over email satish. [protected]@zoomcar.com, i did that and called him back after 30 mins, he did not pick. Called 10 times no answer.
                    From only few hours left from booking start time and have spoken to customer care around 20 times and everytime been told to wait for callback but no one calls and customer care team says that they can't do anything else.
                    Now its one hour past the booking start time. Me along with 5 other people are ready and our bags packed waiting for the car like fools and no idea what's gonna happen next. Zoomcar left us with no option apart from waiting for an indefinite time helplessly. Their service is bizarre and customer service is absolutely joke.
                    They have taken the payment and not ready to refund it so that i could make different arrangements.
                    This whole experience is so exhausting and terrible. Someone please take some action against them.

                          My refund hasn't been initiated for my completed booking no jps6ny3bl.
                          It's now been over 2 months and no refund has been initiated even after numerous reminders and customer care calls.

                          The booking end date was 5th june, 2020 and yet it still shows as upcoming trips on the zoomcar app.

                          They have stopped responding to customer care calls now and had only been giving the excuse of covid19 hampering their operations.

                          While they were extremely prompt in taking the deposit, it's been apparently very tough on them to process my refund for the deposit.

                              Hired car from zoom car on 7.7.2020 used it and handed it over today is 7.8.2020 still security deposit amount + fuel expense not been refunded back as per policy its only 15 days but its 30 days old case,

                              No support / no email access / no help desk nos to reach people

                                I booked the car in zoom car on 29-may-2020. But for some reason i canceled the booking. But to this day my money has not been refunded. Customer care did not respond. The e-mails were not responded to. I have not had a job since february. I struggled a lot for money during this lock down time. Even at such a time my money was not refunded to me by the zoom.                                   My name is devarsh bhatt. I booked zoomcar on 17 june 2020 in jaipur. Trip was going to start from 9:30 pm till 1:30 am.
                                  I was with my female friend, and pick up location was gold soul grand mall basement. Paid successfully 6131 total amount and they sent me mail that you successfully booked the ride. I submitted the relevant documents 1 hour before booking. We went there around 9:00pm. Their employee was there, he told us that documents is being verified, it took 2.5 hours and no one picked up our call from zoom car till that. Later they said that we are doing something and will give you 1 hour extra. Finally one of their employee contacted and said there is a hole in your driving license so we can't not permit you. I said you haven't mentioned such things in your policies and even high court did that and gave me back my license and it's valid up to 3 holes. But they denied. Finally they rejected our trip the next day midnight on 18 june. I was with my female friend there, place was basement, very much risky, and we had to attend something very urgent. That time jaipur was completely locked down, no help was there. It was such a mental torture, and kind of harrassment from the company. We booked the cab somehow and returned. On their trust we went there by can, paid 500 rs for going and coming extra. It was physically and mentally torture. They said you will get your refund back within 15 days, it's been 2.5 months, i contacted them a lot. Still i haven't received the refund. I've cheated with this zoom car company. They tortured me and holding my money. Pls help me out.

                                        I cancelled my trip (Jps6n59eo) on 10th of july, for which refund of inr 3368 is pending. As per zoom car policy the refund is initiated after 15 working days (Which has been updated to 30 days recently), but it's been more than 4 weeks now and i haven't received any refund. Going through their social media feed i came to know that refunds if thousands of customers are stuck for months now.
