illegal rental of privately registered vehicles & mental harassment

Details of the Grievance:

I, along with my friends, booked a self-drive rental car from Zoomcar in Mumbai for a day. Upon collecting the vehicle, we observed that it had a white number plate, indicating private registration. To our knowledge, self-drive rental vehicles should have black number plates with yellow lettering, as required for commercial rentals under the Motor Vehicles Act, 1988. Not received the invoice copy/bill

I finished my trip with ZoomCar on 30th Dec 2024. Post 16th Jan 2025 (15 days after the trip) I went into the help section to select "I want the Invoice". The app says "you can view the invoice here". But there isn't any link or attachment. The invoice doesnt show up.
I tried calling multiple helpline numbers, but none are operational.
I have emailed the zoomcar ([protected]@zoomcar.com), but I got a response saying ticket is closed....

User blacklisted for no reason

I am a regular customer of Zoom Car but from a couple of months, i am trying to book a zoom car but the application is showing that you are blacklisted by the zoom car without any reason and intimation.

Cant book car, After that i have emailed almost 3-4 times to the zoom car support but there is no response from there side. I have also called so many times to the customer care number but not able to connect with the representative.br...

Verification of profile is showing error

I have booked a car on zoomcar and paid amount 5276 in advance. But the app asks for profile verification. When i m doing the verification it shows uidai service is not responding, and there is no alternate option found for verification. So how can i do the verification process....

He has returned my car on 25 June 2024 and filled OTP to end car but Ride is on over instead saying OTP limit exceeded.
Plz resolve this issue as soon as possible
Or else it would end with a legal action towards zoomcar....

Refund due to breakdown Issue

We had a trip on 22/03/2024 and due to breakdown of the car in the middle of the road we were not able to travel further and we had to rush to the station for train and our whole trip got wasted. Not able to unlock the rented ar

We rented a car on zoomcar, the pickup was at 11 pm, but we could not unlock the car at all, every time the app kept crashing. We tried looking for customer care contact number, but didn't find any working contact number. We tried for one and half hour in the middle of the night. We have paid a lot for 5 days of trip.

Unable to upload a selfie for verification

Recently I booked a trip with zoomcars and was asked to upload a few documents and a selfie for verification. I uploaded the documents but every time I tried to upload the selfie the app crashed. i tried getting in touch with customer service but couldn't. My trip starts on 21st Feb and I'm not sure how can I get this fixed if I'm not able to get in touch with their customer care...

Lack of customer service for hosts

Hi, My car is in Zoomcars and already with the customer. And I couldn't log in to the host app, because OTPs are receiving on the phone. No one is responding to emails and not available on phone calls. when the payment is shared 60% is to the host and 40% is taken by Zoom cars. is this the customer care they should have?
I just get more mental stress due to this, now I can't log in to the app anymore, but they ask us to contact them...

Now I am not able to do anything with my booking and it says go to the mobile app to cancel or reschedule .
