I have been forced to pay and extra amount of Rs 1513, 2 weeks after submitting the car.
I have been sent a legal notice to pay citing vehicle has been used for manner other than those agreed and acknowledged by me at the time of booking.

The owner of car has rated me 5stars and fleet executive has checked the car, fuel was 100percent . i have submitted car 4 hours prior.

I urge zoomcar to provide valid explanation or refund the amount

    I had made a booking on 07 November booking ID - JPSN7NJB3.

    However, at the time of arriving at the pick up location of the car, I noticed the car having been damaged all around especially the boot was dented badly that it would be difficult to close the boot once opened. It was not a desirable car to be driven for the trip I had planned for.

    I did not even start the car and the manager at the site was not available too. I recorded videos and took photos of the car before leaving from there deciding not to proceed with the car.

    I demand a full refund of my trip which I paid for 21546 Rs online. I have raised multiple complaints via the app and email to which I am yet to get resolutions for. Instead am getting more emails to pay additional fee for something which I have not even used!

      The booking no JPSN75FAF was made on 16th Jul 07:30 AM and the drop was done on 16th Jul 11:30PM for a Maruti Swift MT petrol Car. (screenshot attached below)

      Suddenly we see that zoom car has charged us an inconvenience fee for Rs 25000, against which no valid data was given. We did raise this concern to your customer support team on 27th August itself and they did raise a ticket internally and also said that they will process a refund as there was a glitch in the app. You can see in the below screenshot that it shows that a refund of Rs. 21132 is pending from zoom car itself to us (screenshot attached) which is actually balancing out the incorrect charges that Zoom Car's app is showing as per the image as you can see.

      Below is the complaint ticket raised by us to zoom car on Aug 27th itself via customer care phone but we never got any revert.

      Post that there was no revert anywhere from any of your team members and suddenly we are getting emails and Whatsapp about legal action unnecessarily without even a proper homework or your background check done at your end. A person called Vivek, claiming to be a legal employee from their team not providing any valid proof when asked what are the charges about when clearly Zoom car's app itself has a glitch and the same was agreed by the customer service person is harassing us by sending messages which are unwanted.

      Being a regular user of ZoomCar, we have repeatedly used all possible communication channels to raise this concern to your team but could never hear back.

      Please check the screenshot below which clearly shows a pending refund from your end itself of INR 21132/- which now you are expecting us to pay to Zoomcar?!

      The booking amount was Rs. 2389, against which the payment has already been made. (screenshot attached below).

      Please first get this checked internally before harassing your customers. Attaching all the screenshots below.

        My zoomcar account has been deleted for no reason. I have tried to reach zoomcar on many occasions but there is no response from zoomcar. There is no direct way to talk to a customer executive. I have written complaints from the app too but yet no response. Due to this i'm unable to make any further bookings. Please see to my problem as try solving it as soon as possible. Thank you.

              I had booked zoom car on 25th Oct 2022, Hyundai Creta MT Diesel, having registration number DL1C Z5190.
              The fastag was not working, when we called the executive he said you pay the cash and upload the bill it will be refunded.
              I did the same and they denied saying that they can't refund the amount.
              Herewith I am enclosing the receipt of payment for your reference.

              Request you to do the needful at the earliest.

                During the trip I spoke with agent to get replace the front 2 tyres. Those 2 tyres are keep loosing the air couple of times - I raise complaints to replace the tyres. Zoom agent agreed and approve the tyre replace and they said I will get refund the amount after end of my trip.

                Two times car suddenly stoped in the middle of the road - I called customer care at spot and got roadside assistance and car inspected by zoom agent advice with refund of 3000 rupees during my trip.

                I submitted all my bills during the signing off of the trip. Attached all bills.

                It’s been 15 days since I have not gotten any kind of message or refund credit to my account.
                Take this seriously and process my refund.

                  My booking was in month of August 16 2022, on 12 Nov 2022, I got mail from zoomcar regarding Outstanding bill pending, and they will file case against me if I will not pay, first, zoomcar do whatever you want, there no customer support call service to talk about issues, secondly I have already paid fair amount, and after my trip there was no payment backlog, I have also talked to car owner, he also told me it's a scam

                    I got a legal notice from Zoom car- "Legal Notice | SWAGATAM SENGUPTA | JPSN702P4". Previously the "whatsapp legal" team approached over whatsapp and very casually, like we are buddies, started asking for the money back by a vague deadline with no consequences explained. Now you this legal notice was sent on November 9 stating that i have a deadline at November 7, 7 pm to pay back the money. So to be clear, they want to create a time machine and go back in time and pay the unjust charges. They have hired some unprofessional bullies to make up their legal team

                    Some of the charges are correct, some of the charges were corrected after i pointed it out to them but what they didn't do is account for the money they owed from the previous booking.

                    There were two bookings I did from zoomcar account. First one was Renault kigor and the second is Baleno.

                    I got an informal message from zoomcar legal time on WhatsApp (still not sure if they are actually a legal team) and told me that i have till 5 pm to pay back the charges or... See that's the issue, for a legal team, there ambiguity and informality is purely unethical. Less than 6 hours notice for some charges that are not even justified.

                    Now why the charges are not justified: Firstly, the fuel charges were calculated assuming that we left the car at 0 fuel but i mentioned it to the "Legal" team and they said that it will be corrected. Secondly, I was supposed to get refunds from my previous booking, Renault kigor one, and that I didn't get.so clearly the charges will be reduced after subtracting the amount that zoomcar owes me from my first booking and after updating the correct fuel charges.

                    Now the threat, you have till 5 pm or... : What does this mean?? Or what? I know you can't file a legal complaint as there is some unresolved ambiguity and the "whatsapp legal" team . What's the final consequence of this sentence. I am still not clear. I think you have hired goons to use the WhatsApp number and staging them as legal.

                    So, It's for sure that I can't clear the charges by 05:00 pm as I didn't get any official mail from zoom for the deadline + no refunds processed from zoom car for my first booking.

                    I want resolution now and please stop sending this vague legal notices. Once the proces are justified, I will pay at once

                      Zoomcar fully faked they said the car pickup evening but second time tell car recieved second days I call evry time but his answer different I am frausted zoomcar I never rent car again zoom car my 22000 thousand gone and costomer service not received my call I call. many time I never seen this type of fake service

                            I had a booking on 1st nov customer has travelled only 4kms and returned car in 3 hrs I had a dought and went and checked all the tyres were replaced with old once and spare tyre was robbed and music system was robbed and parts near engine was reassembled. I have complained this to host support any they were just extending it and no resolution from there side.

                              then I received an email reply from Zoom car that I will get refund after I share the estimations of the lost parts, I shared but, now the Zoom car replying that my complaint is fake and they are not ready to pay my loss.

Still my profile is pending and no message. So i requested to you people please verified my profile so that i can book car on rent. It’s urgent.                                 HI Pardhu, I have a horrible experience with Zoom host, believe me, you will receive most of the bad reviews on this. Zoom car takes your car for rentals but they will not pay you for accidents or loss of parts due to thieving by guests (or rentals). You will have to cry and beg them to resolve the issues. Your car will be damaged very severely but the zoom is not responsible. Think and learn about the bad experience before giving your car to Zoom car. in my last 6 months. Loss of money is more than I earned from this programme. please do not go with this.

                                  Hello,
                                  We’d book Mahindra XUV500 from 28th October 2022 11:30pm to 2nd November 2022 4:00 am whose booking id is JPSN7B9K9.

                                  Car was breakdown on 29th October 2022 at 3:00pm in Goa and we reported to Zoomcar about the same but as it was holiday due to which mechanic was unavailable on that day.

                                  On 30th October 2022 one local mechanic came to the location and checked all the basic things and concluded that the car was not serviced since long time so there’s issue in the battery, many more spare parts are to be replaced which will cost you a hefty amount.

                                  Zoomcar executive told us that car will be toed and whatever expenses we incurred such as fuel, mechanic charges etc will be refunded to us. But till 01st November 2022 no agency came to toed the car till 1pm.

                                  When we told the Zoomcar executive that we’re starting our return journey to Pune then within 30mins toeing agency came to the location and toed the vehicle. Till day before yesterday we contacted Zoomcar executive at that time they told us that all expenses will be paid but for that first car has to get repaired so please wait till the car is repaired.

                                  Today all of sudden we received a message that ₹450 will be refunded to us which is not at all acceptable to us.

                                  Below are the calculations for refund amount -

                                  Total No of Hours Car was Booked : 100hrs and 30mins

                                  Amount Charged : ₹17, 700/-

                                  Total No of Hours Lost due to Breakdown : 85hrs

                                  Amount to be refunded : (17700/100.5) x 85 = 14, 971/-

                                  Kindly find the images attached for the expenses which we incurred during the trip which amounts to around ₹6500/-

                                  Total Amount which is to be refunded is around ₹21, 500/- approx.

                                  Kindly refer to our conversation which was done with all your Zoomcar executive for better understanding.

                                  Awaiting for your kind response and co-operation.

                                      This is to let you know that we had a car with the license plate UP25 CW 4566 that we rented from Zoom Car in exchange for payment. The executives made it very clear that they would be responsible for any damage to the car.

                                      One day, some individuals took our car on booking and were caught by the police without our knowledge for illegally transporting a large amount of alcohol in a dry state. Our car was missing for several days, but we later discovered that it was in the police station.

                                      The case has been taken to court and the company is not assisting us in any way. The car finance company have sued us as well because we are unable to pay the EMI of the car, which was on an EMI. As a result, we are facing a huge loss.
                                      This has a negative impact on our credit score as well and is also negatively impacting our business as we cannot take any further loans and have to hire other cars for the commute.

                                      They also don't have any offices or free staff members with whom we could speak. Because of this, we kindly ask for your assistance.

                                        Concern in detail:
                                        Car owner called me during my Trip and informed not to fill the fuel tank as he has to service his car. While dropping the car, Car owner came and checked the fuel with his estimate, he requested for 500 cash for fuel.
                                        Car owner Stenil informed that he will not service his car for now as he got another booking.
                                        We dropped our conversation and I started taking pics to complete my trip. He said leave it i will mark all ok from my side and you also do the same. I left there and took cab for my location.
                                        Later Car owner send me message in Whatsapp asking for 500 more. As he was nicely taking to me, I paid him. So in total i have paid 1000 rupees via UPI.

                                        Now when i reach back my home, i see zoom car has charged me 1075 as outstanding amount.
                                        I informed Car owner and he said he will look into this.
                                        Called customer care and she conferenced the call with car owner which he denied stating that “i dont remember”.
                                        Now today legal team pinged me in whatsapp and threatening me that they will take action against me if I dont pay the outstanding amount.
                                        I shared the same information over whatsapp but they no response. I tried calling them but noone picked up.

                                        I have the whatsapp conversation as well as UPI payment record with me and this to sort.

                                        However, I have paid the amount but i want this to sort so that Zoom car people also get to know that car owners can play with users like this and this needs to be actioned.

                                        NOTE: Car Owner was there when i picked the car and we had normal conversation about my plans and all. He himself said after your trip i will drop my car for service.
                                        He was in constant touch me during my trip and use to call and text me if everything is going good. On top of that he came to meet me when i dropped the car.
