Set-top box burnt hdmi cable and the same fire went till tv and burnt chipset on tv as well. Due to insufficient protection mechanism at the set-top box, our tv costed the damage. I complained to customer care and they blamed us and removed connection without paying any compensation. Overall damage cost around 11k and the same thing happened around our city many places. Due to insecure set-top boxes people getting affected.

    This is regarding my act fiber-net.

    I always have connectivity issues. They claim that my router has a problem but finally figured out that it was a problem at their end.

    I have spoke to multiple people like tl, am, nodal officer and dropped a email to appellate authority which of no use.

    Appellate authority is yet to respond to my actual issue.

    I sir i roshan barkat vadsaria holding a account with act finer name under account number[protected] am trying to fix my internet connection from past two months, every time i call them they inform to resolve issue within 24 hours and waive the bill for the days internet was not working, despite if multiple attempts they internet was never fixed and waiver for never done, i feel helpless now and you are my only hope to help me out

      We prepaid 6 months of bill for new connection on 20/july/2019. But the connection is not given till date. We raised complaint so many complaints on this problem and also approach the company directly. Everytime they are telling some cock and bull stories which we wait for almost one month. Then after they told refund the money very soon. But we didnot receive any amount and we waste our money (Petrol expenses every time to reach company) and time.
      So please make sure our money has to be refunded as early as possible.

        I want disconnection of my act fibernet account. I have changed my location and i don't want act connection anymore. I have cleared my bill and i haven't used monthly available data. I tried to contact your customer care executive but the call was failed. I waited more than 30 minutes in the line but there was no response. I want disconnection. I[censored] don't consider this complaint, i will not pay its coming bills.

        I paid the bill, but internet is not working, and also before invoice date internet was not working g for 15 days, now I had paid the bill but still internet not working.please make service as soon as possible

          I have sent multiple requests to act broadband to disconnect my act broadband connection immediately, due to repeated poor performance of act broadband in my apt and i have switched to someother broadband already.

          Despite several requests, i am still being harassed by act thro various means, email, sms, calls asking me to pay for renewal etc..,

          Dont u all understand english.

          If my connection is not terminated within 48 hours i will have to send a legal notice

          Please disconnect, termanate my connection and confirm. Stop harassing me.

            We called for act broadband connection on 12-8-19. Immediately salesperson came. We paid through card. Then after so many calls network engineer came and told that they have to fix a box using drill and they need a power supply 24/7 for that junction box. Our house owner was not ready for it so we gave for disconnection immediately in that day and we were told refund will be initiated in 15 days. Next day they were calling and convincing for reconnection but i told no situation not feasible and asked to refund. Till today with n number of calls and emails to their customer care they always say within 15 days... I don't know which 15 days they are talking about.

            Later confirmed that it will be credited before september 4th till now did not recevie customer people started saying it is in process... They expect the customers to beg behind them giving false promises without commitements.

              ACT poor customer support.
              I have registered a complaint on 2nd Sep stating internet isn’t working and the ACT team hasn’t resolved the issue after I had called twice and followed up as well.
              Similarly internet wasn’t working and I had registered a complaint on 26th August too. They took 2-3 days to resolve, even having the TAT as 24 hrs they are unable to provide a consistent internet facility. I this once or twice every month. Pathetic internet provider.

                I have payed for installation and monthly plan of 1132/- on 29th of august 2019. I have not received any kind o[censored]ser id and password. The internet is not even active. I have constantly lodged tickets every day but that seems to have not made any impact on the progress.

                I need to cancel and get a new broadband connection. Even the cancellation is not happening at a fast pace.

                  Trai needs to take very strict action on act fiber.

                  Not sure why we have to pay money for 6 months at a time.

                  Rules needs to set by trai, other wise these kind chief broadband service people will create problem for gated community people...

                    My act a/c number is[protected].
                    I applied for a new connection on 30th aug 2019 by making the required payments. It was promised that the connection will be activated by 31st aug.
                    Its more than 2 days and till now the connection has not been activated. The person who took my application is with act employee id 18517. I have called him several times regarding the issue. But hez not picking up my call. Tried calling customer care but no body is helping out just saying wait we are raising a concern
                    Engineer in charge of my connection with mobile # [protected]. I have called this number at least 15-20 times in the past 1 week. He keeps giving silly excuses and totally un-proffessional.
                    I tried to reach the helpdesk. They just log a ticket and ask to wait for 3 days. I have not received any response till now.

                    Its a shame on act for pathetic service even for a new connection.

                      I have raised a relocation request, but the technician who visited my new address said there is no availability of service at my place. And they need to setup a new box at my place, they having taking forever to do that. Even the app was not of much use in this regard. I then requested for a cancellation through my registered mobile. But i don’t see any progress w. R. T that either.

                        My act internet connection is not working from past 3 days, when i raised the complaint they closed the complaint stating that the issue is resolved, but till now i am unable to use internet.

                        I have also 2nd complaint, raised a complaint regarding power backup issue for the internet for which they have installed a box in my home and they are taking power from my home, they installed a battery in the box. If the battery is gone then how much power it will consume? And we wont even get internet at the time of power cuts.                           I see that act fiber net is soo pathetic in giving after service. Useless customer service when called we have to wait for 10-15 minutes before they take a call. They feel they are ambanis to reach out. I made 5 call since morning 1st guy said within 2 hours it will be rectified but till now after 5th call no one turned up. Inspite of this they disconnect the calls without addressing the issue properly. No one is taught proper way of talking as well as they talk rudely.

                            I think our staff colleting money by way of fraud. Compare with your staff and services pakistan terrorist are better. Your staff intentionally create inconvence and stop the services to public lead underdeveloded india.

                              When i called for internet service issues.. The respond ant was very rude in talking also waiting time was too long and secondly he gave the wrong contact number and said what should i do this is the number i have. Is that the way you deal with customers [protected]

                                    I have cancelled the connection on aug 1st and sales guy taken the money without installation of internet connection and i requested him to refund my money back due to delay in internet connection.

                                    I have received call after 15 to 20 days and i have submitted bank details, but still there is no refund.

                                    When ever i call to customer care i am getting only one reply your complain for refund has been raised will get back to you in 24 hrs.

                                      There has been no response.

                                      The Customer Care team are not even bothered to hear out and keep giving false promises of the issue getting resolved.

                                      Despite Sending mail to the Nodal Officer, Vijay. A, There has been no solution to this.

                                      Pathetic Service to the core !!!

                                      Please be beware and opt for better Broadband Service Providers !!!
