Hi,
I am a privileged customer for act who pays bill before 10th of every month.
I am not getting internet for last two months being raised multiple complaints.
I paid bill for two months and did not consume any service. So they have disconnected my connection. Customer desk guys promises a one week free and a month of service for rs 590 only if you pay that amount now. So i believed them and paid now 590 when am in office and promised me immediate activation. When i reached home and checked there is no internet it is same as expected.
So in total i paid 796+796+590 (This amount is approximate need to check the bills). When we go to act office they give irrelevant responses.

My question is why act has promised me about immediate service when they cannot provide. Moreover they are not considering about the last two months of bill amount.
Ideally am paying them without consuming any service. Even this message am sending from mobile internet.
Please do let me know what is the solution for this.

    I paid for internet connection in may. They haven't provided installation till now. I have called many times to their customer care for which i have to wait like 5 min and finally they say they will do within 48h but never came for installation. So i asked for refund in july. It's more than 1 month but refund also is not given till now. Every week i call and check but no action is taken from their part. They are holding my money for more than 3 months.

      I run a startup, business is fully passed on internet, act is very worst service provider ever seen, they not even care about our issues, to rectify a junction box issue they takes 5-10 days, but waiver is 100rs.

      Week first day, 9.30 am we had more plans to do, but no internet, we paying even if we not using internet, but they never care about our loss. I need to disconnect connection immediately or any legal solution available?

        I had online 7440/ for new connection on 6th july 2019... After two days act said that connection is not available in my area. So i requested them to refund my money. It is going to be 2 months they r telling they are looking into the matter and creating connection prospect no.[protected] to create account for refund. May i know shall i get my money back?

          I have called so many times and it's been two months. They are not disconnecting my service and sending me bills. Where am i supposed to complain about them. Want to file a case in consumer forum for this harrasment.

          Every time i call, the person says next 3 days and they just don't disconnect it. Next time i call they have no information about the last call at all. I don't know what kind of a company this is!

            My internet connection is not working due to a cut cable from a fellow customer and the team has been stringing me along. This is the third time such an issue has happened and there is no resolution. They keep calling me and ask me to wait at home and no one turns up. They then arrive for 2 minutes and have no response after that. When i call up the customer service representative they use a bad language and threaten me and tell me that i can't do anything and need to go with them as my money is with them already. This is abuse of customer trust.

            All technician's numbers who told me the issue would be resolved are non responsive. The Customer Service line doesn't care for our issues.

              My account[protected] has not been activated from aug 20. I spoke to many customer care personnel. They make only empty promises. It has not been resolved. This company has mentally and emotionally harassed me. This is the worst treatment. They tell me that it will be resolved in 1-2 hours everytime i call. But, nothing gets done. When will this get activated?

              I ask the customer care agents to put me in touch with the manager. Their managers are always busy. They promise a call back. But, nobody calls back.

              I have been calling constantly because i need high speed net at home for my work. They have frustrated me to the core.

              The customer care agents do not log any details. They don't keep any proper records. They really do not care for the customer. I will. Not be surprised if this company goes down very soon. I pray and hope jio will push act out of existence.in fact, act is treating customers without any respect. They do not deliver their promises.

              I also sent dm on twitter. I registered and raised tickets online. But, no "act" does. Not. Act on it at all.

              Why do you promise your customers 48 hr activation if you cannot deliver it? I have been waiting from wednesday for activation. It is sunday evening. Nothing has been done.

                I would like to formally escalate the issue that i am facing for months. Userid: 11273401. Please look at the number of tickets i have raised in the past 2-3 months.

                It has been months i am facing internet disconnection which has delayed response with no internet for almost a day and gets fixed towards the end of the resolution time promised.

                I do not see act support paying proper attention to fix the issue permanently. Every time i contacted act, i have been provided different reasons and then issue gets resolved once technician visit the place. Today i was told that there is a power issue and last time it was battery issue.

                Need your support to get these issues resolved which is extremely frustrating and affecting my office work from home. Work from home is the biggest reason i chose act but not getting satisfactory service.

                  Please note my internet connection has been down for the past one month. I have raised complaint repeatedly through your call support and through your app

                  Sr[protected] dated 31st july

                  Sr[protected] dated 7th aug reopned on 8th aug and again as it was closed by your service personnel and closed by him again.
                  After this your service person told me that they cannot find a cx box in my area and suggested i have to pay 2200/- for a gx box or have to install a cx box in my permise.

                  Sr[protected] dated 8th aug -

                  I agreed to pay 2200/- as i did not want the service persons to visit my permises often as it is not permitted by the building owner. So i paid the amount (2200/-) and raised a request for gx box installation same day (8th august) through your call centre.

                  Again there was no response from your team.

                  Then sent a complaint email asking about the resolution to my problem on the 17th of august to the local nodal offer and the appalet authority.

                  The nodal offer wrote saying my problem will be resolved in 24 hours.
                  An engineer visited my place. He told me that since it was a saturday, he would return the next day and give me a permanent solution.

                  That was the last i heard either from him or from any of your service persons.

                  After that i have sent a mail to both nodal officer and appalette authority on august 19th - no response.

                  After that without any resolution or installing the box, the complain has been closed by your service personnel on 21st aug.

                  I immediately re-opned the case and again i sent mail to both of them on 21st august - again no response.

                  Till date (23rd of august) there is no act internet in my premises.

                  This is the most pathetic internet service i have ever faced.

                    I have taken 6 month plan in act and disconnected act due to non feasibility of connection in my new area on july, however an amount of rs.4086 have been confirmed as my refund by act person (Don know the name), it has been more than 45 days but still i didn't receive the payment. And the refund which they promised is getting reduced monthly in my act account and same didn't get credited to my account too.. Am wondering what is happening and no clear explanation from customer support. Can any one explain what is happening?

                        We applied for new connection 10 days ago, executives form act fibernet came to our office and collected the documents and payment for 6 moths, they said they will provide us the connection in 48 hours, on person came to us next day and said there is a box problem and a new box has to be set for this. He said another team will come and set up the new box. He said the process will be completed in 4 days, as there are holidays including bakrid festival, on 13 th august onward we have been waiting till today, no body called us, no body visited our office to provide us the connection, we started calling the executive who visited us, twice he lifted the call and said he will find out and will inform the exact status, later he stopped attending our calls. No one is answering us.

                        Kindly take this complaint and try to make the service provider to provide us the service.

                          I have purchased the recently introduced 4K streaming device from ACT on August 3rd for Rs.1500. They have not delivered the product yet and the customer care does not have any update on that. Every time I call the customer care they say that they will escalate it and sometimes they say I will get a call back. But I never get an update or call back. I am following with Customer care from 8th onwards and is of no use.

                              Hi all, we have paid the amount of 1091.33 on friday for activating the services. The amount is debited from our account.

                              But none of the channels are activated until now. We had registered a complaint on friday itself the complaint number is [protected] and have spoke two times in two days.

                              Even spoken to there escalation contact vijay but no solution neither the service is activated. This is repeating with us.

                              Act is totally fraud company and are cheating customers. Please help us in getting justice.

                                My account id is[protected]. I have raised a shifting request on 8th Aug 2019, and promised that it will take 3 to 7 days for this.. It's almost 10 days and still activation is not done yet.. Fiber connection box fitting and Internet connection are done but still no activation.
                                I called to customer care and the call center is always busy.. I have called so many times to the person who gave connection to us, he even not lifting my call. I have paid pe paid amount upto 6 months when we requested for a new connection. Still don't know about how to proceed if I don't want this type of brondband connection if it not resolved today I want my money back and close this connection

                                  I have paid 6 months advance on 2nd august 2019 for an internet connection. After that the agent is not responding to my phone calls and whats app messages. When i call customer care, they said they will resolve the issue within 24 hours every time i call but no action is taken so far. They are simply cheating the customers and stealing money and wasting our valuable time.

                                    Act fibernet has been cheating us for almost a year now. They provided connection to internet by connecting to our electricity connection box and said they will be discounting 50 RS on our internet bill each month. It's been more than a year we started seeing a spike in our electricity bill which was almost double the amount. This was a trend we observed. On getting a check on the connection we noticed that they i.e. ACT has connected multiple ports to our electricity without informing. On raising complains they never responded. They said they would send a technician but never did it's been 4 months of following up through multiple channels like emails, customer care help lines on which I have waited 30 minutes just so that someone can answer, visited branch office more than 6 times. But till date there has been no response. I pay for my connection,

                                    my electricity bill not for the entire area. They have cheated us. On researching this with my friends who have ACT FIBERNET connection, they too said that they have provided connection through some one else's connection box.

                                    I am not alone, I am sure they have been fooling people around in the same way.. People are so busy in their day work life and routine that it would be the least expected thing to be cheating with connections this way. Not everyone is a pro to figure out their loop wholes.

                                    The customer care team creates tickets and resolves them with out any data or response.

                                    If anyone is observing a trend in electricity bills, it could ACT- your internet service provider who is cheating you.

                                    Please share this and suggestions to get this issue fixed.

                                    There is no ticket ID as you just resolve all the tickets. The complain officer Vijay took down the complaint but never turned up. It's been 2 weeks now. Please provide your direct email address to contact number up
                                    Due to continuously not having internet in the nights and no resolution provided to my complaints I requested for disconnection two months back and still my complete refund is not made

                                      My internet is down since two weeks. I have opened an sr. They fix it temporarliy which will work for 15mins and gets disconnected and they will close the sr. I reopen the sr and the cycle continues, this has been happening since two weeks. I requested compensation for 2weeks down time (Still down), they gave 180rs, for the monthly bill i pay, i am supposed to get 600rs.

                                      1) they don't fix the issue.
                                      2) they don't give the compensation for down time.
                                      3) now when i try to disconnect, i can't even reach the customer care number, after kept on hold for 15-20mins, since i'm in the queue 30+ members waiting time., i get disconnected when my turn comes up.

                                      Worst # service from this # hole company.

                                        I’ve activated my connection at my new place by paying the amount on 22.07.2019. They asked to wait for a day, later asked to wait for 10 days. It’s been so many days now and i don’t have internet inspite of paying. They’re not even responding on calls. They are just insisting me on waiting more. It’s almost a month now since i’ve paid the amount. Please help.
