I was being forced to file a petition here, as the act fibernet team didn't respond to the mails as well as the complaints registered over phone. Moreover they are closing the complaint tickets without the consent or without even intimating the complainant about it.
Problem :
I have a 125 gb fup limit which in my act fibernet account, for the past few months the fup was expiring in as soon as 15 days, i don't know why. Lately, inspite of zero usage i was charged 15gb of data from my fup, that is when i got suspicious and shared my doubt with the fellow facebook group members of spread the word hyderabad. To my surprise am not alone, hundreds of customers are facing the same issue from almost an year. Our data which we pay for is being stolen from us / the company is cheating us by giving false fup readings. We need the bill to be transparent and give in detail about the usage and why the issue is being raised by hundred's of customers.

    Registered mobile nos [protected] & [protected], have act fibre net connections.
    Ince the last 5 days there is no internet after calling customer care 27 times we got the same reply "it will take 24 hours" for restoring connectivity.

    Just got internet only on one connection, i am submitting this complaint in a hurry as i do not know when the internet will get cut off.
    We pay bills regularly right on time.
    This company is fraudulent
    Kindly help!

      Am facing very slow internet connection during surf, not sure what is the problem. its really worst on day by day. Not sure have utilized 75+20 GB in a month, mean 20GB which i've been notified that has been added into my current bill cycle as a extra benefit.Provide me the summary details of my usage.

        I have raised internet issue with Act / beam telecom, on 22-Jun-2016 at 3PM. I per discussion with customer care, issue will be resolved in 24hr. But still my internet connection connecting issue is not resolved. Location; Pragathi nagar, Kukatpally, Hyderabad -500090.

        Due to this connection issue I was loss on time and money.

          From last one week i.e, on 16th June 2016 iam not getting the internet i gave 5 complaints till now, to the provider but the issue was not solved.When i call them every time they keep on saying that please give us 24 hours time.whem iam calling to the customer service guys i have to wait for 15 to 20 mins on call. All my works are stopped due to these guys and in additional extra Phone bill and waste of my valuable time.

            Act fibernet may be have attractive packages and good speed of internet. Though no service. They wont care your problem they have many customers like us. But if you got any problem you will struck inbetween of business work. Now a days no one have time run behind cyber centers to just browse work. So before taking act fibernet need to think of service and its call center no one will pick your call they will take your review your complaint tocken after 15 days.

It got renewed on 1st December 2015 for another 6M + 1M plan by adjusting the balance on my account. Ideally the plan term should end only on 30th June 2016. But starting from 1st June 2016 onwards, I was getting sms/mail alerts that the new plan is started and my payment is due; please pay the payment...

              Hi,

              ACT executives have checked the feasibility twice in my locality and taken my documents and after the 2 weeks they initiate a refund process of the money taken.
              1st request is refunded after 10 days.
              now, 2nd refund in progress.
              they assure to get the connection in 1 week and will not turn up and customer care will not receive calls.."Always busy"

              I think they are expecting money off the records to get the connection (or even speed up the process)

              Worst customer experience.
              I had asked to get me the connection before processing the refund, they said that the refund is initiated and i need to pay the amount again to the connection immediately(claiming to provide in 2 days) If they are able to provide connection in 2 days, why do i need to pay again? as the amount is not credited to account my yet.

                Hi,

                There has been internet connectivity issues with act fibernet, but it has reached a worst point this month with more than 50% of the time the internet was down and the company is taking upto 7 days to resolve an issue which they used to do within 24 hours when it was beam (Act fibernet brought major share in beam). I have raised a series of complaints as [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] etc and they were either closing the ticket without any resolution saying that the system is auto closing the ticket. How worse is the customer support process if a ticket is getting closed without any resolution. Their turnaround times for issue resolution has become worst. Which proves their lack of execution. Regarding approach-ability their customer care number was coming as "the customer your calling is busy on an other line" that is the freakish thing i have heard. Looks like they have put only 1 person in the customer support! Or else why would the call come as person is speaking to someone else. Right now this is not coming but we have to wait in line for a long time for the support executive to connect. This also shows doubt if there is a handful of people if not the only person in customer support. As i did not hear from them, and have been calling them on a daily basis, i asked the customer care executive to connect to his manager as i was really pissed with their careless attitude. I was on line for 25 minutes. Freaking 25 minutes and still the executive could not connect me to his supervisor saying that there is a long queue. I had to wait on line for that much. I have recorded this in a video and will be sharing that in the internet and will try to spread it as much as possible to create awareness of their worst customer support system and save atleast a few people from falling prey to their dubious advertisements which in my experience with them have proven to be outright wrong. I have been customer of their services since it was earlier beam. As beam customer support system was commendable, within 3 to 4 hours of raising complaint, there used to be a person at my house and the ticket would be closed within 24 hours. While all this happens, i would be well informed as to what the problem was and what they did. Ever since act, the time for technician visit went to 7 days, sometimes no technician visit happens. There is no call or proper explanation from the technician. They say there was a problem on backend and dont say what the problem is. Their system automatically closes the ticket if it is not resolved, what the hell does such a system do to help customers!! To anyone out there thinking to subscribe to act fibernet, my experience and you can read hundereds of such worst experiences on their very own act fibernet page in facbook has been one of the worst. Their technicians are ghosts you dont know if they even exist. Their customer care executives are zombies saying evertime that the issue will be resolved in 24 hours as if they were ivr. I sometimes feel sorry for their cust care executives because all they hear are complaints and all they can say is sorry, will be resolved in 24 hours. Anyways from customer standpoint it drives us crazy hearing samething and see no action. Worst of all as per me could be their management as they seems not to care and may be looking only at earning and not on customer satisfaction. They will soon see the earnings drop and customer numbers drop because of their worst support and as giants like airtel and other are taking market share with exceptional support. At almost the same price. I only hope that act will correct themselves and provide good customer support but looking at the worst experience from people like me on the forms, it doesnt look they care and vanish like other biggies who were unable to win over customer loyalty and are now forgotten as history.

                  Hello, i am facing serious issues with act fibernet connection. My network is frequently disconnecting in every 5 mins or earlier. Once it gets disconnected it will take very long time to reconnect. I am really really frustrated about this issue, more over that your customer support is not able to identify this issue which i am following up with them for the past 1 week. I made totally 5 to 10 calls and every time they assured me that this issue will be taken care and will not repeat again. Even they are not updating what the issue related to?

                    Beam internet not working. We have given a complain 9 days back. As per TAT has to be addressed within 24 hrs. Spoke to Shiva Prasad but no use. Kaartik varma supervisor but no use. They simply saying stories. I am going to raise consumer complaint on this. Since they are giving false information mentioning complaint will be addressed in 24 hrs.

How come they are selling a network mentioning complaints would be addressed in 24 hrs???? Where as no one even bothered even after 9 days.                       I've taken a wifi internet connection on 25th Jan'16 for a period of 6 months plan with ACT Fibernet account no:.[protected]

                      Since then i'm facing regular internet connectivity issue espacially on public holidays and weekends.

                      After lodging a complaint, they say that it will be resolved within next couple of hours, but that never happen. As usual again after the weekend or holiday is over, the connectivity gets back automatically.

                      Recently i'm facing internet disruption since 3days(Dt.17th Jun'16) and i've complained 5times and each time they have closed the ticket with status as CASE RESOLVED . However still I am facing the same issue without receiving a single call from them.

                      To my utter surprise, each and every weekend and public holidays this thing happens everytime. Is this done knowingly to fool customers.If this is not the case, why ACT fiber net never resolev the issue on weekends, even after repeated complaints.

                      Escalation- 2nd time How could this complain has closed with remark as MARKED COMPLAINED HAS RESOLVED ? Post raised of my complain on 19th Jun'16, i've received a call regarding act fibrenet issue from Phno- 04066216888 at 9:22AM on 20th Jun'16 with stating that 'Our technical team will go and get it rectify within 4hrs(which supposed to be resolved by 1:30PM on 20th Jun'16). Still i'm waiting for same since 4days with called them 8 times and they've raised complain ticket only twice. Is this the customer delighted service Act Fibernet is providing to all ? I want proper justification with resolve of internet issue within 2hrs and compensation of loss bearing for 4days.

                        This is with regards of my new connection with act fibernet a/c no[protected] in my name which is got activate on 14/6/2016 but the router was not properly configured and because of that reason I was not able to use the net.after new connection I didn't get any call from technician whether it is working properly or not..i raised a ticket regarding router is not working properly last three day but after repeated call and writing a email to customer care till no one has turned up to rectified the issue this is how they treat their new customers... And customer services make fake promises that it will rectified in 24 hour ...

                            ACT pvt ltd has illegally tapped electricity from the junction box at my residence to power the amplifier box for broadband which itself has been unauthorisidely fitted at my residence. Neither permission has been sought from me nor I am utilising the services of the company in any form. The residence located at madipakkam chennai has been locked for 5 months and during this time the illegal act of the company has been noticied. Relevant emails has been sent to the nodal officer at Tnagar chennai. However no response has been received from them. Necessary action need to be initiated against the company for illegal tapping of electricity and unauthorised fitment of amplifier box.                               We are billed monthly Rs. 9000 plus for internet from Beam. Every time we pay the cheque before time. This time even after raising a complaint to collect the cheque(complaint token no, [protected] dt. 15.06.2016). It was assured that the cheque would be collected in 24 hours. However no one turned up to collect the cheque and later Beam disconnected the line effecting my daily office work. Customer care for beam is always busy. Seeking a remedy to this.

                                  If you don't know how to solve the below issue, please arrange my amount back which is paid for 6 months package and close my account.
                                  Your Malakpet Branch technicians and supervisors are Very worst fellows. They don't know how to solve the problem, Number of times I have given complaints against Net connection and speed issue. From the last month on wards I am giving the complaint continuously but NO use, I think, Your people have no knowledge to solve the problems.
                                  Waste of time and money to call to your call center number[protected] and giving the complaint. Every time when I called to call center, call is connecting after 15 to 20 minutes with your representative, representative told me that we have more calls, that means complaints more i.e. worst service.

                                  Yesterday I have given complaint for " No internet connection" ( this is very bad, since last month onwards, same issue). Today morning malakpet technician called me and net is coming. In the evening when I came to my home and checked the speed, It is showing 0.32MBPS instead of 10 MBPS. Again I called and sent message regarding slow speed to your technician. but his phone is switched off.

                                  Issue is not resolved, please solve the issue .

                                  We are getting trouble in download speed ( 1 to 2 MBPS instead of 10 MBPS). due to that, Unnecessarily we are loosing time and getting more current bills.
                                  From the last month on wards we are getting frequently internet disconnections. Please change the multiple connection BOX to nearest to my building, Box having multiple connections which are in bad wiring connections.
                                  Please send Area Manager or Equivalent person to check and verify the connections at that area.

                                    I have been complaining to customer care sabot data theft begging happening from past 3 months. We have 30 GB plan, which is getting over by 10-12 TG of every month.
                                    Act have reset the quota left month to monitor the data. This month 1st of June we were having 50gb quota. And on 1st of morning itself when we checked around 5gb was used/consumed. Today it is only 15the of June. And 50gb exceeded. Could you believe it?4gb daily a huge data. We are afraid of seeing video and music download from past 3 months. Earlier to that we never exceeded our quota inspite of many downloads.
                                    I think with same connection somewhere data is being used our days theft happening.
                                    Calling customer care so many times is not helping us. We are losing money, can't work and losing data.

                                    Yesterday my data quota of 30 GB got over . I did not want to reset the FUP. But I did that, not because I am fool. But I wanted to prove again that Act is a fraud company. So I did FUP by sending the reset FUP SMS to their number. I got reply as usual, your speed reset and fresh quota of 30 GB will be effective from midnight. Please restart router next morning at 6 am. Today I got up at 6 am, restarted the router, logged onto the act site and found 1 GB is gone. Now tell me who is the culprit ? Act is a fraud company, I have proved it again.But what to do, they will not agree. Fed up.

                                    So what about this happening this month again. My whole 30 GB got over by 12th of this month. I took the courage to recharge today another 30 GB. By now already 3 GB is gone. Who is using it ?
                                    It is less than 12 hours and 3 GB is gone ? How many times will you call me and say we are looking into this. It has been very regular since last 5 months. The moment the month starts I fear when it will be all over !!
                                    Just imagine i recharged yesterday and by now 3 GB is gone. What can I do ? Whom should i call ? Customer care says we will get back to you. Over here also you say we will get back to you. But by when ? There is no talk on money being refunded back to me . It is just that you will figure out the flaw in your system and give me information. Am I foolish to not understand this tactics ? Fed up of you guys, ACT has become more of a theft story now.

                                    Why are you busy calling me and not solving this problem. Today whole 30 gb is over. in less than 10 days another 30 gb gone ? What are you cheaters trying to prove over here ?
                                    I am on the call with your customer care executive from last 30 minutes. It has been huge discussion and the executive said she is connecting me to the concerned department. The call is on hold it seems. She is not connecting me anywhere.
                                    And now one joined and disconnected the call. Where should i go.
                                    Now i called back and huge argument is on and now they will disconnect the call . What is this headache all about? Mr Savin. is being called, and he will give anbother dialogue.

                                    In recognise similar issue is being faced by many customer, yet act team never gets back. We customer only spend whole day about data and calling customer care (really do they care???)

                                    If this is happening from month of august I am going to file FIR.
                                    enough is enough.
                                    Till now the GB consumption is going absolutely fine . It is 1.3 GB and today is 2nd August 1 pm time right now. This is absolutely what my usage. It is correct. Lets see when ACT team does forgery and do manipulation.
                                    I have been suffering the same since 4 months now. Every time I connect to the Customer Care, the only thing they can do is ask me to check my usage history. Of course I check it to understand why my usage gets over so soon. The report shocks me. Insane figures shown in the span of 4 hrs. How can I use nearly 3 GB data when I watch YouTube and streaming sites in 360p (Yes 360p). I have kept a firm eye on my usage even though i have 60 GB to use and it gets over in 20 days. I decided to do my own usage check. This month again, I received a 100% Usage message today. That's 24 days. I decided to check and I cant understand how my usage is crossing 40-45GB. That's nearly 20GB Difference!!! There is some serious issue to be looked at. I have been a loyal customer for over an Year but this keeps happening repeatedly and there is absolutely no help. I am thinking o[censored]nsubscribing from ACT due to massive data theft. I need a resolution for this asap!
                                    Even we are facing the similar problem and the ACT authorities are not even responding to our countless emails! Even we just watch YouTube and browse the Internet and nothing much but still our whole data gets over within like 15 days or something. Today we received 50 GB and within 4 hrs we lost almost 3.5GB !
                                    What are we users supposed to do against it? Is it data theft or something else? We don't know and we are helpless.

                                      #actfibernet please consider providing a better customer service and stick to your slas for new/transferring connections. Your customer service sucks. I contacted you customer service team 2.5 weeks back and requesting transfer of my connection. It's been 5 days i paid the changes, no action has been as of yet and keep getting the same answer "we are doing a feasibility check" from your customer service.
