Hi,
Beam internet not working. We have given a complain 9 days back. As per TAT has to be addressed within 24 hrs. Spoke to Shiva Prasad but no use. Kaartik varma supervisor but no use. They simply saying stories. I am going to raise consumer complaint on this. Since they are giving false information mentioning complaint will be addressed in 24 hrs.

Hi,

Would be more interested in knowing why beam internet services making false promises publicly. Can we take action on this? How come they are selling a network mentioning complaints would be addressed in 24 hrs???? Where as no one even bothered even after 9 days. Customers service executive Shiv Prasad and his team lead not even ready to provide escalation details.

    I've taken a wifi internet connection on 25th Jan'16 for a period of 6 months plan with ACT Fibernet account no:.[protected]

    Since then i'm facing regular internet connectivity issue espacially on public holidays and weekends.

    After lodging a complaint, they say that it will be resolved within next couple of hours, but that never happen. As usual again after the weekend or holiday is over, the connectivity gets back automatically.

    Recently i'm facing internet disruption since 3days(Dt.17th Jun'16) and i've complained 5times and each time they have closed the ticket with status as CASE RESOLVED . However still I am facing the same issue without receiving a single call from them.

    To my utter surprise, each and every weekend and public holidays this thing happens everytime. Is this done knowingly to fool customers.If this is not the case, why ACT fiber net never resolev the issue on weekends, even after repeated complaints.

    I expect a speedy resoultion of the issue on a priority basis. I am working from home and this internent issue is the most bizzare thing that I am facing everytime.This should not be the behaviour of a good proffessional service provider.

    Escalation- 2nd time How could this complain has closed with remark as MARKED COMPLAINED HAS RESOLVED ? Post raised of my complain on 19th Jun'16, i've received a call regarding act fibrenet issue from Phno- 04066216888 at 9:22AM on 20th Jun'16 with stating that 'Our technical team will go and get it rectify within 4hrs(which supposed to be resolved by 1:30PM on 20th Jun'16). Still i'm waiting for same since 4days with called them 8 times and they've raised complain ticket only twice. Is this the customer delighted service Act Fibernet is providing to all ? I want proper justification with resolve of internet issue within 2hrs and compensation of loss bearing for 4days.

      This is with regards of my new connection with act fibernet a/c no[protected] in my name which is got activate on 14/6/2016 but the router was not properly configured and because of that reason I was not able to use the net.after new connection I didn't get any call from technician whether it is working properly or not..i raised a ticket regarding router is not working properly last three day but after repeated call and writing a email to customer care till no one has turned up to rectified the issue this is how they treat their new customers... And customer services make fake promises that it will rectified in 24 hour ...

        Their in no internet connection since 14/06/2016. No one from act ready to at ten the complain. Customer care is not responding, when i call they say it will be solved today eveytime saying the same thing
        Please rectify the problem or give permanent disconnection

        They are many broadband connections in my area so will go for alternatives

          ACT pvt ltd has illegally tapped electricity from the junction box at my residence to power the amplifier box for broadband which itself has been unauthorisidely fitted at my residence. Neither permission has been sought from me nor I am utilising the services of the company in any form. The residence located at madipakkam chennai has been locked for 5 months and during this time the illegal act of the company has been noticied. Relevant emails has been sent to the nodal officer at Tnagar chennai. However no response has been received from them. Necessary action need to be initiated against the company for illegal tapping of electricity and unauthorised fitment of amplifier box.             We are billed monthly Rs. 9000 plus for internet from Beam. Every time we pay the cheque before time. This time even after raising a complaint to collect the cheque(complaint token no, [protected] dt. 15.06.2016). It was assured that the cheque would be collected in 24 hours. However no one turned up to collect the cheque and later Beam disconnected the line effecting my daily office work. Customer care for beam is always busy. Seeking a remedy to this.

                If you don't know how to solve the below issue, please arrange my amount back which is paid for 6 months package and close my account.
                Your Malakpet Branch technicians and supervisors are Very worst fellows. They don't know how to solve the problem, Number of times I have given complaints against Net connection and speed issue. From the last month on wards I am giving the complaint continuously but NO use, I think, Your people have no knowledge to solve the problems.
                Waste of time and money to call to your call center number[protected] and giving the complaint. Every time when I called to call center, call is connecting after 15 to 20 minutes with your representative, representative told me that we have more calls, that means complaints more i.e. worst service.

                Yesterday I have given complaint for " No internet connection" ( this is very bad, since last month onwards, same issue). Today morning malakpet technician called me and net is coming. In the evening when I came to my home and checked the speed, It is showing 0.32MBPS instead of 10 MBPS. Again I called and sent message regarding slow speed to your technician. but his phone is switched off.

                Issue is not resolved, please solve the issue .

                We are getting trouble in download speed ( 1 to 2 MBPS instead of 10 MBPS). due to that, Unnecessarily we are loosing time and getting more current bills.
                From the last month on wards we are getting frequently internet disconnections. Please change the multiple connection BOX to nearest to my building, Box having multiple connections which are in bad wiring connections.
                Please send Area Manager or Equivalent person to check and verify the connections at that area.

                  I have been complaining to customer care sabot data theft begging happening from past 3 months. We have 30 GB plan, which is getting over by 10-12 TG of every month.
                  Act have reset the quota left month to monitor the data. This month 1st of June we were having 50gb quota. And on 1st of morning itself when we checked around 5gb was used/consumed. Today it is only 15the of June. And 50gb exceeded. Could you believe it?4gb daily a huge data. We are afraid of seeing video and music download from past 3 months. Earlier to that we never exceeded our quota inspite of many downloads.
                  I think with same connection somewhere data is being used our days theft happening.
                  Calling customer care so many times is not helping us. We are losing money, can't work and losing data.
                  I want action on this.

                  Yesterday my data quota of 30 GB got over . I did not want to reset the FUP. But I did that, not because I am fool. But I wanted to prove again that Act is a fraud company. So I did FUP by sending the reset FUP SMS to their number. I got reply as usual, your speed reset and fresh quota of 30 GB will be effective from midnight. Please restart router next morning at 6 am. Today I got up at 6 am, restarted the router, logged onto the act site and found 1 GB is gone. Now tell me who is the culprit ? Act is a fraud company, I have proved it again.But what to do, they will not agree. Fed up.
                  Dear act fibernet, this complain is not the first time which I am complaining. U can see over more complain here being raised already by me.
                  And yes I didn't receive any calls from act team

                  Why are you busy calling me and not solving this problem. Today whole 30 gb is over. in less than 10 days another 30 gb gone ? What are you cheaters trying to prove over here ?
                  I am on the call with your customer care executive from last 30 minutes. It has been huge discussion and the executive said she is connecting me to the concerned department. The call is on hold it seems. She is not connecting me anywhere.
                  And now one joined and disconnected the call. Where should i go.

                  In recognise similar issue is being faced by many customer, yet act team never gets back. We customer only spend whole day about data and calling customer care (really do they care???)

                  If this is happening from month of august I am going to file FIR.
                  enough is enough.
                  Till now the GB consumption is going absolutely fine . It is 1.3 GB and today is 2nd August 1 pm time right now. This is absolutely what my usage. It is correct. Lets see when ACT team does forgery and do manipulation.
                  I have been suffering the same since 4 months now. Every time I connect to the Customer Care, the only thing they can do is ask me to check my usage history. Of course I check it to understand why my usage gets over so soon. The report shocks me. Insane figures shown in the span of 4 hrs. How can I use nearly 3 GB data when I watch YouTube and streaming sites in 360p (Yes 360p). I have kept a firm eye on my usage even though i have 60 GB to use and it gets over in 20 days. I decided to do my own usage check. This month again, I received a 100% Usage message today. That's 24 days. I decided to check and I cant understand how my usage is crossing 40-45GB. That's nearly 20GB Difference!!! There is some serious issue to be looked at. I have been a loyal customer for over an Year but this keeps happening repeatedly and there is absolutely no help. I am thinking o[censored]nsubscribing from ACT due to massive data theft. I need a resolution for this asap!
                  Even we are facing the similar problem and the ACT authorities are not even responding to our countless emails! Even we just watch YouTube and browse the Internet and nothing much but still our whole data gets over within like 15 days or something. Today we received 50 GB and within 4 hrs we lost almost 3.5GB !
                  What are we users supposed to do against it? Is it data theft or something else? We don't know and we are helpless.

                    #actfibernet please consider providing a better customer service and stick to your slas for new/transferring connections. Your customer service sucks. I contacted you customer service team 2.5 weeks back and requesting transfer of my connection. It's been 5 days i paid the changes, no action has been as of yet and keep getting the same answer "we are doing a feasibility check" from your customer service.                       The problem is with ACT Fibernet Internet connection. Connection is too much fragile and I don't receive any connection for 15-23 days in a month, then I'm charged the nearly the full bill amount next month and this continues.
                      Try to mail the issue, they don't reply, try to call customer service. After like 100th time it might connect they are always busy(surely everyone else is facing the same problem like me). If they receives mistakenly then they will assure you they will resolve it in 24 hours. so the next day it doesn't get resolved again you try to call, they say again 24 hours. This goes on for days.

                        I have not been able to access the internet when required the most. Whenever i need it and i go on to google chrome, it says "network change occured" or "dns probe error". I tried to use the so called "resolver" but it says "connected to the internet". When i again open google chrome again it says the same. And only whatsapp can be accessed on the mobile phone but even google chrome does not open. When the company guy comes to check, it works properly in front of him and for the next 1 hour but after that its the same story again.

                        I hope you help me how to solve this problem as it becomes very irritating at the time of checking results or filling an online registration form.

                          The Worst Operator i have seen in Internet provider. My Account No.[protected]. I have allowed the ACT Fibernet to keep connection box in my home. During installation the box ACT TEAM told me i will get 100/- discount in total bill. They installed the box at my home in Apr2016. So they have giving the discount but i am paying full amount of Rs. 744/-. I have raised complaints/requests several time. Without resolving the ticket it will be automatically closed without any solution. I have address the ACT Appleate Authority, Nodal Officer; Hyderabad with total history of the case. But nobody responded . My account has kept on hold for not paying the amount . I am not provided the Discount for the last 2months . I am providing the Power to ACT free of cost they put a big box with 6 connections. These people are cheating in billing and let me mentioned here how many time i have called to your customer care through mail and through phone with in 10 days. I have raised 4 complain with in 10 days and it is closed without any resolution in the same day.

                          Surprisingly, the customer care number always engage. You have to wait more than 20mins. It is not toll free number. The worst ever ever service provider

                              I have had act fiber net from about 5 years now(at secunderabad). Till recent by everything was working fine. After the recent thunderstorm the lines got disconnected. After that they pulled another line and now the system does not configure on the router. I have raised a ticket to them about 3 times now. Each time a service person shows up and intimates that issue is resolved duringboffice hours and on checking the issue is not resolved and another compliant has to be filled. Today on June 12th I specifically asked the customer care to.send a person so I could personally see if the issue is actually resolved. The person Mr thirumalesh shows up. And with in 2 mins he says the router is at fault. I asked him how did he come to this conclusion. He says that it does not release the IP I asked him to show how he has tested it and thennhe goes blank. Because he had no idea about anything and he had not tested anything. After playing around with the desktop he says sir I will bring a senior who can fix this I have no idea.

                              This kind of taking a customer for a ride has become the norm for act now since they have no means of ensuring that clients get the service. Their service team has no technical knowledge and are just getting by with a non standard and in effective service resolution system . I would request the service team to ensure they take a feed back from.the clients else they surely and soon enough will have none.

                                I am trying to contact ACT broadband customer care for new connection, but this is the worst experience I am facing. No one is bothered to call me back post registration. Even I tried to call customer care and asked for the plan, post which no follow up from them. Tried reaching them again but no luck. I wonder how would be the service of this company when they are not even bothered to onboard new customer.

                                  I applied for a new internet connection.They took six months amount in advance but still there is no internet connection since 6 days.I called them so many times but get the same reply that my problem will be resolved within 24 hrs and nothing happens.When I ask for a refund they say it is not possible and there is no connection.Only thing they do is send a message saying my ticket no has been updated and nothing happens.completely frustrated with its services.

                                      As already mentioned by many in google reviews and a very true fact. Act is pathetic. Please don't act that soon on choosing act.
                                      I took connection on june 1st and from june 6th it's not working. Reason which they gave is that my connection was taken from an act junction box which was from a nearby connection, now that connection got evacuated. So that's the reason.
                                      Now people you only tell whether it's my fault.
                                      Regarding their customer care, at whatever time you call it's always busy what they say. And it's not toll free.
                                      Today its 9th and no update yet.
                                      Please never go for act. It may be economic and speed may be good but it won't last for long.
                                      Act may be good for few luck ones but not for majority.
                                      Just have a look here in consumer complaints its daily loaded with complaints.
                                      Am sure they will pay for this for playing with consumers sentiments.

                                      This prompt reply you people made after one week itself proves how much you people value your customers.
                                      I have requested for connection termination. Please complete the procedures as soon as possible. I have to get a new broadband asap. My 1000 bucks gone for which I feel lucky that I didn't get looted as you people do with people having paid with 6 months or 1 year advance rentals.
                                      A company which plays with customers sentiments will never prosper that's for sure.
                                      Now let's put all these in timelines.

                                      1st June : I got ACT connection, connection very super, I was very happy.
                                      Note: Sale executive begged a lot to take advance rental plan but gods grace I didn't go for it.

                                      2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th June everything fine.
                                      June 6th connection gone.

                                      From 6th till now connection is out of order. This is expected after having interactions with their WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES. So on 9th I raised a consumer complaint here and you all can see that today I got response, they are really horrible. Now am literally begging for disconnection. Today I called customer and they said that I will be getting a final retention ( which they are delaying from last 2 days ) call today and by EOD today my connection will be disconnected. But bad luck. I will be updating my timeline here.

                                      So its very evident how much negligent they are.
                                      Even for disconnecting my connection I have to wait this long and there is no update.
                                      Today its 18th no updates till now.
                                      I have called to customer care and they have assured me for a last chance till tomorrow.

                                      If its doesn't workout I will go to their nearby office, will try to do with all the disconnection process on my own.
                                      Even if that doesn't workout next option will be Indian Consumer Court.


                                      They didn't provide me a quality service and now getting rid off them is a big headache.

                                      Never ever go for this.

                                        Hi, I have taken new connection of ACT fibernet on 6-Mar-2016 disconnecting my old BSNL connection, after hearing from everyone that private sector services are better. I have taken a package of 6 months and paid all the amount and installation amount on the same date. But lately I realized, it is the worst service provider I have ever seen.
                                        - Since the date of installation, for alternate weeks I am facing issues with internet connectivity.
                                        - I have logged escalated complaint to their costumer care many times.
                                        - The costumer care number doesnt not connect always, we have to hang on the phone for 30-40 mins to reach to them, and that to it is chargable.
                                        - It has created me both financial and mental losses.
                                        They are not able to provide any permanent solution to the problem. Really fed up with them. I want my money to be refunded if the problem persists.

                                        The so called act is nothing they take so much pride in their speed which is worthless if its gonna last for only 8 days.They do a lot of miscalculations in ripping off customers.they should get an award for ripping off people.Nobody could beat them.50 gb got over within 8 days and i was only at home for 4 days.Act Means "the act of ripping off people.

                                        No Internet/ No response from customer care from last 3 days

                                        It is been three days that I do not have internet connectivity from ACT, I have done SMS, Calls, Emails to raise issue.. there is response for any of this communication mode. I am disappointed with this service. They have taken 1 month advance to be on safe side, to make sure they get money even customer discontinue the connection

                                        It's been almost 4 days I could not access internet. I had raised the complaint but that was closed without resolution, now for same reason had reopened the ticket but still no action on it, I was promised that it would be resolved max by 24 hours and if not I can escalate it to next level. But when I spoke to customer care representative today got worst reply seriously never expected this and it's really a worst service ever seen. In a month now a days more than 4 complaints But bill amount no changes charged for full bill cycle without proper service??!!
