Today apr 21st 2016, at 9:24 am, i gave missed call to my friend in us.

I clearly started hearing ringing sound, same time call duration started. Immediately i disconnected the call. Call duration was 4 seconds and i was charged 8 rupees.

I know if the recipient attends the call, and if i disconnect the call in 1 sec also i will charged (I am not a kid, i am using mobile from many years).

But in this case, the call duration started the same time i started hearing ring sound, so i disconnected the call.

I wanted to tell this issue to the customer care person. First one lady picked and she was telling ican check call history by dialing some number. She was not understanding what i was trying to tell. She then transferred the call to her supervisor.

Her supervisor, she is not at all ready to listen what i am telling. She got he information from the previous lady. She was not ready to listen what i was trying to tell, she started telling isd call is like that, very far distance is there in between it will take time to reach me what he spoke(Kidish story).

I was trying to tell that there is a technical glitch here, "call duration started same time when i heard the ringing voice".

I am not much bothered about that 8 rupees deduction now. But the dumb supervisor response bothered me much, she is telling there is no issue here, you dumb supervisor if there is no issue, why customer will call to you and wait on hold to speak with you.

Dumb supervisor first listen what customer is trying to tell, then understand what customer told. Dont tell your story and ask me to check the call history. "call duration started same time when i heard the ringing voice, immediately i disconnected the call".

You would have to told my mistake it might have happened due to technical reasons. But you are concluding there is no issue, we can see in our records and mistake is mine. You dumb supervisor that i can see in my call history also, call duration is 4 seconds.

Finally that dumb supervisor is asking is there any thing she can help me. You please listen what customer is saying, understand their intention. I was not blaming you customer care people, but i wanted to raise this technical glitch matter, but she concluded there is no issue and i unnecessarily call her and its my mistake.

This dumb supervisor created wrong impression on the company itself.

Airtel — Cut my main balance

Irrespective of there is data balance in my mobile .they cut the balance from main balance(140/-) . bad service

    I have port my airtel number to idea and i have paid the bill 300 rs at the time of porting but then again it was showing the 272 rs pending from myside.I have called your customer care for itemized bill but no response and i have not received the last bill on my email also.Now my service stopped by idea.
    Still i have paid the 273 rs on 19 apr 2016 the transaction id is 228010.

    Please note that the bill is for only 10 days of service.

    Still the service is stopped.

    Please help what to do in this case

      Finally I received a call from airtel representative who said he cannot do anything about the wrong recharge done.
      The reversal /transfer is not possible in their system. WOW, I mean such a big company is running with a such stupid flaw. I know I will not be the first one to report such issues, there would be many who has faced this issue. Imagine 1000 people would have done wrong recharge of Rs.200/- and that could not be reversed then on a particular day airtel has earned Rs.200000 (two Lakh). Awesome.
      I guess at this time I can only say that "Airtel has earned Rs. 200/- free of cost, free, free, free.

        Respected sir/madam,
        I am writing to you in order to tell about the problem faced by the airtel users in ramnagar road no 3, agartala, tripura.

        Here, airtel is providing very poor and weak service.The results of the poor services are: very bad internet speed(In 3g we are getting about 100kbps, and 2g it is only connecting no speed is there at all.It takes about 2 minutes to connect to data services in 2g), signal is heavily fluctuating ( when i go to my terrace i get signal strength about -85dbm and when i come to my indoor it even strikes up to -125dbm).Call doesnot connects in 1time after dialing even in 3g and in 2g takes about 2 minutes to connect a call, even if the call is connected the voice does not go and reach properly the voice is lagging.The voice quality is very very bad. Here peoples even i am facing problem in indoor especially and this problem continues outdoor too. I tried to talk to the customer care they either disconnects my call or transfer this call to their seniors or sometimes the even tells me to discontinue the service.I also tried to contact the nodal authority they tells that it would take a little time and they pretend to take complaints but do not take. Even they told me that his system's application is not working so he will take the complain letter. I have tried every means, but it failed.Unfortunately, i am compelled to write about this here.
        I expect airtel to take this complain very seriously, and i recommend to optimize the network by attaching duplex, in order to give a good coverage here.Please increase the internet speed especially 2g and 3g as everyone like to surf on net.Please do take this complain seriously and if possible send your network engineers to meet me.You can contact me in this no.([protected], ) and call through a valid no so i can back call you(If you donot get me, due to network issues).Any suggestions is greatly welcomed.

            I yugandhar m lost my micromax cdma phone with sim bearing no.[protected] in secunderabad few days back..and when i approached airtel shop at bapuji nagar they checked and said it is on my name..and i am using this sim card for last 5 to 6 yrs..may be got from kukatpally area that time through submitting my docs...initially it is coming switchedoff..now a days we are receiving msg saying that above mentioned number is ready to receive calls..we are suspecting that some body is using this phone..
            I sincerely request the concerned, to look into this issue and further requesting you to block the sim card immediately.

              I have a postpaid airtel mobile connection no [protected] having relationship no [protected] which i am using since last 4 years. I have ported this number from bangalore to hyderabad in feb 2016. I was in ethiopia since oct 2014 and the phone was on international roaming. My bill used to be rs 600-800 per month. After porting the number while in india i started to ethiopia on 19 feb 2016. On 20 feb i received an sms from airtel stating that my mobile is downloading some data and informed me that he is stopping the same. Then i received a bill of rs 20406.31 on 26 feb 2016 instead o[censored]sual rs 600 to 800/-
              Airtel is unable to tell me any details other than stating 23.99 mb downloaded, where as i have not downloaded any data nor visited any internet site. Airtel is not answering my specific queries.
              On 20 apr 2016 airtel disconnected the mobile and i am in ethiopia with out any communication to my family in india. There seems to be no proper mechanism in airtel to resolve grievances of customers.

                I have converted my post paid mobile number ([protected] ) to prepaid. Before closing my connection, i called the airtel customer care, they informed me "not to pay a penny".

                But when i reached airtel shop, i was asked to pay 275+20, when said. The customer care informed me not to pay anything, but they said " we dont bother about customer care, you have to pay to close connection". When i paid the amount. "i asked them should i pay anything after this?".
                They replied you dont have to pay anything. I closed the connection by paying amount asked by them.

                But later airtel customer care was calling to my alternate number which is not used by me.(Still my number is alive). To pay another rs. 810.

                When i come to know about this. I called to customer care and reached a customer care . I was informed this amount will be waived off from our side. You dont have worry.

                But now i am continuously getting calls to the alternate number which is not used by me.


                I am completely disappointed with airtel post paid customer care


                They dont have relationship between their own airtel shops and airtel customer care.

                I ported my number from docomo to airtel thinking it has a better network but to my surprise it is a company

                        Sir i had done recharge of Rs 320 on[protected] of my dth id - [protected] . I had done this recharge through my airtel app by internet banking sbi.
                        The amo of Rs 320 was deduct from my a/c but recharge not done.
                        I was complaint at customer care and website also my complaint no. Is - DT[protected] but did not solve my problem. I've sent my bank statment on airtel email id but did'nt refund my 320Rs. Please sir kindly solve my problem.

                            I had requested for an airtel broadband connection ac-[protected], on 24th of march 2016, they assured me i will get a connection within 3 days. They collected signed copies of address proof and id proof with 1000 rs activation/installation charges and also 200 rs for notary certification of address proof as said by the associate .

                            After a week of followup i was told there is no service to my area and my money will be refunded,

                            There has been no refund yet after providing bank details for neft transfer .

                            Airtel has wasted my time and has taken my money without any refund, i was assured before making the payment that there is service to my area which has been denied after i made the payment.

                            I request my money be refunded, i cannot do more followups on this

                                1. No proper network coverage anywhere in India. If you are at the center of the city you will get full network. Slightly if you move away the network keeps fluctuating. You can't even have a proper uninterrupted 5-minute call.

                                2. Recently, I applied for my mobile number relocation to Hyderabad on 8th April and still it is not done. I did not even get any information from the customer services that my sim will be blocked in this process. It's 13 days now since the portability application and my number and the sim both are blocked. Even when I tried to lodge a complaint online it says my number is invalid. Why the hell do you provide online services when for everything you have to visit their store.

                                3. I have 2G Internet pack, this also doesn't work most of the time. Basically, it's just a trick to cheat the people and force them to use costlier packs. On top of that even when you have the 2G plan and you don't even use it, they charge you extra apart from the plan rate stating that you have exceeded your usage limit.

                                People have enough problems and issues in their life. If would be of great help if you guys don't aggravate it by these non sense.

                                  I am facing a network issue from airtel. Call drops and when i try do calls or receive calls the voice cracks and drops for every 5 seconds. This happens from february 2016 in location koyembedu & padikuppam area at chennai. When i have raised a complaint to airtel, they say nothing can be done as of now problem may resolve in 24 hrs or 24days or 24months/years. They ask me to change the provider or my location. I am staying in heart of the chennai city and not in remote place.
