Since I own the airtel prepaid friends sim card, I am liable to call at 10 paisa per minute between 10 pm to 8 am and 3 pm to 5 pm to any airtel mobile number. But since last two days, They had charged at normal rate i.e. 1 Rs per minute during these concessional hours. So that I lost so many balances. And that I also came to know at the end of the call.
Still after complaining to them, they have not started the facility yet.

Please do something so that I would get my facility. Now I cant get that lost money due to negligence of the company.
My airtail friends no.is [protected].the service outgoing is stop.i have give every documents but
service is not started.i call to services in city in maharastra gondia they told that your data is deleted
what should i do.my name pramod s. sahare.

    am a defence person and i came to PUNE for some medical check up.. my unit is in karnataka..i lost my mobile in pune last sunday...i had wrote an FIR solapur bazar police station on 16th and went to airtel head office IN PUNE next day to block my sim card ...frm there a lady sitting on cutomer care deck -her name is -----AJITHA CHIVATE----- made me stand infront of her desk for 15 minutesfor nothing since she was messaging her friend in her cell fone.. she chewing bublegum in her mouth havnt shown any manners towards.not even telling me to take a seat ...i wonder is this way i responsible person on duty behave to a customer who r already frustated of losing his mobile??? i wud like to tell airtel staff that they shud check up the family status of the people whom they choose for cutomer care..since a girl from a good family can never behave like this, even to a stranger...(my token no on that day was 33-mobile no-[protected]which is not working now)

    Airtel Prepaid — bad behaviour frm a customer care employee

    AirTel — service showroom

    my sim is rejected, i went to the show room located in NAAZCENTER in GUNTUR he took RS150 foe the new sim of same number but its cost is only RS100 the sim is activated but the incoming and outgoing calls are not going, we call the customer care there is no responce . due to not activation i lost much money i lost 1lakh rupees due to no connection available . i[censored] are not activated my calls i am going to case on u my number is [protected]

    Airtel — Not giving responsible

    cricket subscription pack is activated in my mobile. I informed the customer care officer to deactivate this pack but they are not deactivating this pack. Plz tell the procedure to deactivate this pack.

    I have lost my Nokia N95 and suspect that the SIM might have changed to Airtel. I wanted support from the bund garden road office to help in traking the mobile as I can provide the IMEI no.The executives bluntly refused saying that Airtel do not trake mobile nos. Is not a moral responsibility of a service provider like Airtel to at least sympatheticaly help the customers, who then will be loyal for all his life with Airtel?
    Can Airtel head office at Pune be of some help in this regard?

    I have use Airtel service last 3-4 Years.But last 1& half months.
    Your Airtel service given a continous problem. I have told your Area Service Enginner 3-4 times but they not given any action.

    Myself Sandip medankar from chakan.I had given my documents & 2000/- Rs. cash to your chakan office for some new &some Prepaid to postpaid connections to your representive Mr. Vishal Bhujbal, before one month.I was told that my connection with group would be started within one day.But didn't happen so.On the countatry, my all connections got disconnected.After one month when our prepaid connection got disconnected.then he got up & started for connecevity.But I do not want this connection now because I realised that your reprentative is not serious about custmer & servises I want to complaint that Mr. Vishal Bhujbal is not proper person for airtel office.He debited me the charges of postpaid connections which I did not use.So I requesting you to take strict action against him othervise the custmers coming to Airtel are gong away only by this person.He never picking up the phones of the custmers.

    Airtel/Lifetime Free — Getting Sms of others /Earlier Card Holder

    Since last two months some SMS pertaining to Dr. Bamanikar and Dr Sunita Baminikar are receiving on my mobile number. Those SMS are from ICICI Bank Credit card Dept. Similarly frequently I am receiving calls of Dr. Bamanikar and Dr Sunita Bamanikar. For this reasons I enquired with your Company's gallarly situated at Naupada Thane. They explained me that due to recycling of numbers already surrended by the earlier mobile number holder. This problem may occurred in case of few customers and they are unable to do and rectify the mistake.
    I have taken this mobile sim card from Badlapur(East) dist Thane with submission of all my personal documents required by the company. The validity of the card is life time incoming calls free.
    To attend another person calls are very embrassing. Please do the needful.

    Airtel — not providing me right information from their customer care.

    My name is Jay Sanyal.I am right now in durgapur(west bengal).I am using airtel pre-paid connection from last 2 years.recently i recharge my sms top-up Rs.51 and i get 500 SMS free.but on 1st jan 2009
    when i send sms to others.my sms charges are deducted from my main account.
    then i talk to customer care executive of airtel and that lady admitted that due to their some technical fault I doesnt get the message of their BLACK OUT DAY declairation.
    after that when i asked for my money back and provide me information about their black out day.she start argue with me and refuse to provide any information regarding their so called BLACK OUT DAY.

    this is my request please give me justice.why should i pay for their mistakes.i need my money back and secondly that customer care executive should be appolozied to me.
    I have been requesting for the Airtel Internet wifi connection for the past 15 days but I had given response that Airtel will conduct a survey in that area and if possible connection will be established. But then there was no duration or estimated time and responsible person name given.
    Before getting the Airtel services I had to visit the Aundh Airtel office, Pune in person 3 times and called number of times, but then no body gave a good response.
    This shows that I would have to face many problems after getting the Airtel services.

    Hope something will be done in terms of timely service delivery and responses to the customer questions. Because time does matter.

    I am using corporate plan ( monthly rental-225 Rs. only) from near about 2 years.
    Before some days, Everydays I got some messages from 64611010 numbers mentioning that

    Airtel - Life time — Bar all calls

    I have a connection it's life time free offer, now it's saying validity of this card expired, validity is there up to 2016, why it is like, wat is the problem of my connection.

    I got a new airtel postpaid connection on d 27th of april bcoz i had to buy an iphone..the gallery attendend did not let me take a prepaid connection as he said it wont work..but later i did find out it works so i converted my postpaid card to prepaid card in the chinchwad airtel gallery..they specificallyy told me that i can switch over to the new airtel friends 20 pack and took 156 conversion cahrges form me..now the problem is they have converted my card to the old airtel campus n im having a lot of problems bcause no1 else uses this now.when i told the gallery person mr vikas he said he had called me up to ask which plan i wanted which he never did, , he lied staight to my face..this is not acceptable..when i call them now they say mr vikas has gone out..plz see to this

    This is regarding my Postpaid connection No-[protected], which was suspended due to some mistake with the SUBSCRIBER ENROLMENT FORM. It has been resubmitted on the 28th Jul 09.Immediately after the service was suspended. This connection was given by Mr.Aniket as part of his marketing in the month of March 09.It is in the name of Mr. Srinivas Sastry.We are been contacting Mr Aniket regarding the connection but there has been no response. The Customer Care Executive asks us to Contact the Airtel Relationship Centre in Chinchwad where we had submitted the documents. When we contact them they say speak to the CCE as we cannot help you, and now they have stopped taking the call. Can u please tell is this the way Airtel works.Hope for a immediate response from your side.

    ive been an airtel user since last 3-4 years...m continously facing weak n no network problems in myarea...RMC gardens, wagholi, pune..ive made more than 20 calls to the customer care dept..but to no avail m responded with a call that my network probs wil resolve in 3 working days...but the network prob stil persists...its not an issue wit my cel phone...its the complete nw issue...pls resolve the matter at the earliest

    AirTel — responsible of customer care

    since i joined airtel subscriber, i m using my mobile for my business pupose. hence the number i given all my supplier and custemers, i have taken the connection as prepaid and now the airtel become one of cheating company in kerala. as a custemer, when we try to ask some doubt totheir custemer care, the number will be disconnected automatically. they are diducting the money from my acccout as their wish. they may feel no one can ask aganist their guilty. i would like to complaint much more about the service of airtel but why i shoud do it? no one going to hear my complaint and find out a solution. pleae take necessary step to reach you by your 121 number.

    Hi,

    I frequently visit India. Airtel and my mobile company abroad share partnership, that is why I chose Airtel. Initially service was good. During my last three visits I noticed, every few minits some amount gets debited to my account. (now I used prepaid account, due to anomalies in billing I surrendered my post paid account last december) I tried calling the number for complain, nothing happenes, you keep on holding and get frustated. During my last trip I went to their tilak road office, inturn I was connected to bombay office. They told me to discontine some service, which I never opted for. I returned to Pune this time on July 30. I paid Rs.295 on July 31st via transaction number[protected], Since then I made 7 calls totalling to 4 min 30 seconds and 4 SMS and balance is 255.80. This seems quite weired and most expensive. If I contine getting some debit every few minits I will be forced to close airtel account. I dont like to go to consumer court for such a silly reason.

    I am using Airtel from last years and I am happy with it but today (On 12 Oct 2010) my all outgoing and incoming services are stopped. Whenever I called from the same number there is one recorded message says that I did not submitted necessary documents to the Airtel. I understand it is mandatory from the Government of India but as per my knowledge I had submitted all necessary documents when I bought this connection. I also underwent cross checking of these documents before couple of years.

    At least they should have to ask me before barring my connection.

    It does not suit to Airtel to act like that. I am business person and always need proper contact with my clients. Due to such treatment and services I am loosing my business.
    I applied for Airtel Broadband Connection on 8th September 2010. The Sales person (Mahesh) came to collect the application and all necessary papers. He promised that the I will get the connection within six days. After following with the Sales person and the Customer Care (Vishal and Chitra), finally their electrician (Rathore) came to verify wiring. He did not properly verify the wiring and I got my own electrician to check the wiring.

    After that started my terrible period of follow up with Airtel. For over twenty days I kept calling Sales person and Customer care personnel. They informed that they have SYSTEM problem and would not give any definite time to finish the work. What kind of SYSTEM problems will a reputed company like Airtel had that they could not provide new Broadband connection?

    They kept lying over and over again. They including the Sales person stopped responding to my phone calls. if at all some one picked up the phone they will say they will call back after 10 minutes or one hour. Bur no reply came. It is shameful for personnel from such an organization to behave in such a callous manner. It is a gisgrace to Airtel.

    I have learnt the hard way to never deal with AIRTEL.

    I will urge all my friends and those who read this email that they should remain 1000 feet away from AIRTEL products.

Tariff validity 30 days. I have accepted massage and after go to outlet and 27 taking tariff at 2:22 pm "o" clock dated on[protected].But when i have call, cut same charge.

    So i requested you that either return my balance nor activate services provided me on mobile.

But I can't access internet on my laptop from this date. I called multiple time to customer care and 12118, but still not access it. Why I am paying 98 Rs. Hope for a immediate response from your side.

    I am very much dissatisfied with customer care service of airtel. they simply deduct balance by activating any scheme randomly without the permission of the customer and customer care executive is never available on any of their toll free numbers. only pre-recorded msgs sound, which gives information about how to desubscribe that value added service which they had activated without our permission. but they never connect customer with their customer-care executive. and furthermore no facility is there to avail our deducted balance back. the number on which customer-care executive is available directly is not tall-free. so this is their ridiculous business strategy of earning money harassing their customers. i have registererd complaint regarding this, many times earlier both at airtel head-office as well as in consumer-court, but no action was ever taken. so, this time there is hight of harassment and i am going to switch from airtel to other service provider. portability of number empowered my descision. i cant stay with airtel any longer. hence i am complaining for public interest and to request airtel that plz stop doing this with your other customers. i am not going to be your customer any longer. one more suggestion, Airtel's internet facility is just worst. for hours and for days it remains "Network unavailable"

    Airtel Broadband is total Crap in Pune, Looks like the guys do it on purpose. I had applied for a connection and its been 1 and half month and see no sighns of the connection.

    Airtel — Responsibility from Airtel Customer Care and staff

    They have promised an installation on 9th afternoon at 2:30 PM. I took leave and waited for them. They did not turn up even after enormous number of calls that I made from my mobile. every call was on hold for long timke as well. Finally I asked for supervisor and the lady disconnected the call. I called back and was promised a superviosr call within 1 hour. Nothing happened. On 10th morning, called up again and was lucky enopugh to speak to a escallation agent. He has promised an installation now. In the afternoon, I am getting a call asking if the issue was resolved. What should I say??? I donno how they can take Indian customers for granted and do this to us. We might not be paying in dollars, but still we are paying and also much more than the local cable guy. Please treat customers with respect as we are ur bread and butter. Pathetic service. Issue still stands un resolved. Without installation daily my recharged amount is reducing as burn rate. Pathetic!!!!!!!!! I will never buy an Airtel product again.
    They have still not bothered to insatall the same even after numerous calls to them today. Customer care is not having a status also on the same. Dont know how to end this trauma.
    Its the 13th day of the issue running. I am not asking you to launch a rocket to outerspace. Just install my connection. I donno how many more days you need ? Almost 14 rs a day is burning without me been able to use the service. Now your engineer has taken my set top box for software update. He is disconnecting my call now. He is absconding for 3 days now. He said next day morning I will bring and install. 3 days he is not turning up nor lifting my call. Luckily I fought with him and got a reciept saying he took my set top box. Else now you guys would have out right rejected any knowledge of it.

    Ok. Finally the set top box and much avaited Airtel connection has arrived. Sat down and opened my favourite channel, and boom "Unsubscribed Channel ". What the hell. Checked the package in Airtel site and the channel is there. Checked my account, the same package was updated. Clicked on channel list against my package, and there lies the ctach. I subscribed for south ultra for 209 channels, now I am seeing south ultra with 180 channels in my account. Gosh, 180 channles should be south Mega. My package is being charged 424.64 monthly where as your website says rs 375 + taxes which should come to approx 397 rs. flexible package with lesser channels for more cost for a special customer is it, Airtel ? I have mailed airtel presence and its been 5 days now. My promised refund has also not arrived. Great going guys, I really love Airtel. Airtel ki, Jai.

    Today afternoon ie 25/06/2011 in day time i lost my Sony Ericcson Vivaz Pro Mobile .I had used airtel from last 6 years.I registered an FIR in police and then went to FC road Airtel ofc so that they can track the number as the cell was on and was ringing.
    But to my dismay, they bluntly refused that they cant do it even though i had all the information of phone.It was highly disappointing as i have seen all service providers have this facility of mob tracking and m such a lonfg customer but i dont think i will continue to be airtel customer and advice others also not to use airtel...

    Even after 5 days of reporting the issue, not even a single call or response. I reported the issue to the person who called back for checking if previous issue was reported. Still no call back or anything. Airtel is taking customers for granted.

    It is very frustrating that you have manipulated the Interactive voice
    service in such a way that as a customer I am never able to speak to
    the customer care representative even after 20 trials in a day. I ma
    always directed to the end of the call with some irrelevant message.

    Ever since I have taken my new number AIRTEL-[protected], I have had
    100% call drop and 100% network issues, so you may probably guage the
    level of my frustration as a customer.

    I being a communications engineer very well understand the solution
    provided by MNP, however, It is pathetic that you cannot let your

After having been patient for months to get my overpayment back, yesterday's callous and rude behaviour from the staff at this outlet was very humiliating. Shame on Airtel to hire such staff.     Ordered and paid airtel broadband for viman nagar flat in rohan mithila..after taking all the money we found out that the network signal is VERY poor...we called 5-6 times no help. Now we want to cancel their service and they are saying they will not give money back??? How ridiculous is this?       i have been a prepaid customer o[censored]r airtel services for the last 6years.since last two days, i.e.19th and 20th june, i am facing loss of network coverage as soon as i enter roaming network.when, today i called up ur customer care executive, HE DENIED TO LODGE A COMPLAINT.THIS IS REALLY SORRY STATE FOR A COMPANY LIKE "AIRTEL".BUT THIS IS SHOCKING AS WELL.

        Dear Sir,
        I'm airtel subscriber. My mobile number is: [protected]. On[protected] I requested Mr. Janak Raj and collection coordinator Mr. Manoj to switch over my airtel postpaid connection to prepaid. And for this purpose, I paid them Rs: 750 on their demand to make the connection prepaid from postpaid. And they took my Sim and got back me a new piece of Sim and promised me the connection will be activated the very next day. But when the connection was not activated, I personally met the owner of Ashu Telecom, Fazilka and told him my grievances. He told me the different story with the words that they have given me a wrong sim. And he asked me submit the SIM to him he would change it next day. I trusted him and gave the SIM to him. The Next day so far has not come. Now, I requested all the gentlemen Manoj & Janak Raj and the owner of the Ashu Telecom Mr. Tarsem. Then, I also telephonally talked to Airtel Customer care executive Mr. Naresh Ji but he has no answer to my grievances execpt for the demand of Rs: 1000 more to start my connection. It is sad to mention that whether I have no SIM for the last two months (From[protected] to till date) why should I pay the bill without any connection or SIM. Rather I'm in trouble because my mobile is not working and a great loss has done to me for the negligence on the part of your department.
        Please make to rectify and issue me the SIM otherwise I might be forced to adopt legal action. My connect number is: [protected]

          Every day simply Rupee is getting deducted from my balance though i do not have that plan. So far I have complained 5 times regaeding this to Customer care, but they simply say
          " It is some technical problem and will be clarified within one or two days". So far i haven't got any solution for this and thats why i have been planning to change my mobile connection to someother.

            -First of all, their customer service is a No.1 Junk!!
            -I am terribly pissed off by the AirTel Services, especially the Customer Service department!!!
            -If the postpaid customer service is Bull-, this is Pig !!
            -I had a AirTel postpaid connection since 4 months and due to their erotic billing and hopeless service I was terribly irritated.
            -None of them know any information when I call them on the discrepancies in my billing, including their Managers, rather Damagers!! - - -And the call center executives are terribly mis-leading with their half-baked knowledge. Even If I scream at them, they've been trained
            to be buffalo-skinned and get strokes on their buttocks!
            -Whenever you start reporting any problems to them seriuosly, they just disconnect the call because you are not going to talk to the same 'bum' again, right.
            -But, anything related to the payment like collection, payment due date, payment follow-up calls works excellent.
            Fed up of their non-sense and stupid billing, I switched to Airtel Prepaid. This is another big Gutter!!!
            - Switching took 8 days
            - Recharging failed repeatedly and it took 2 days to get activated.
            - Finally, recharged my prepaid with 498 plan with a talk time of Rs.300
            - 2 days after the recharge, all my outgoing calls are barred. My balance them was Rs.297
            - It has become my usual practice to call them thrice a day and scream at them to activate my outgoing calls. Most of the time, they disconnect the call.
            - Finally, I managed to file 2 complaints and the estimated resolution was 6 days later.
            - Luckily, it got activated on the 5th day.
            - 6th day was the resolution day - I got an sms that my service complaint has been resolved.
            - Just after the SMS, all my outgoing calls were barred again. My balance was Rs.284.60
            Looks like, the service guy switched my connection from 'working' state to 'non-working' state. Bacause, they are buffalos right - they just reverse the connection!
            - Now, my outgoing calls are barred and I've already spoken to 17 buffalos. Still not resolved.

            on 26th July I hand over the sim to the executives(!) and paid the amount 670.00

            In December 2008, I got new Airtel number[protected]. First 2 days the sim was worked.
            After that without any intimation the outgoing of my mobile was cut. After 2 days a

            customer care executive called me and told due to non-payment of the previous mobile number
            the current number was locked.

            Here my simple question to you is,
            On 26th July I personally went to Saidapet office, paid the balance amount and I

            surrendered the sim.
            1) Then How come I have the balance bill?
            2) If I really have the balance bill, what the executives did on July 27th, why

            didn't ask the complete amount from me? or Am I partner of Airtel?
            3) Instead of collecting the entire balance money on the surrender day, they sent
            'Outstanding payment' letter. No phone intimations. Especially no bills.
            Please think, is it a good practice?


            Any how, I believed Airtel, and I sent my sim surrender payment details through courier
            to MOHAMED SAJU.M.(Corporate collections.). They didn't even reply to my courier but again
            they sent the same 'Outstanding payment' letter (See the carelessness)

            Meanwhile, I received a message from customer care service on 6th december, that says,

            'Your Service Request number is 19630814 and we will get back to you by 16 dec, 1000 hours'
            I'm asking to you, Do you really need TEN days to solve this issue.
            Is this the condition for a responsible person in a standard organisation?
            Is this the condition for a responsible person who paid all his previous payments

            correctly.

            Leave it. Again I believed Airtel and waited upto 16th December, today.
            Nobody, Nobody responded for my issue, Still my sim is in 'Registration failed' status.
            Is this your, cutomer service responsibility? How you are telling, 'Airtel - The most

            responsive Customer Service Company' ? It's really shameful.

            Then i went to HCL airtel executive salieth ([protected])and checked my status.by hearing

            his reply i got frustrated.he told the particular person went to ayyappan temple and he

            again registered as a new complaint.what the hell is going on?i cant even imagine these

            things from airtel.then i got his manager bharath number and called him.he is unable to

            I feel the complaints the consumers have posted in this blog must be correct as i face a situation which is very filmy.

                  Hi there!
                  I, Vinay Tripathi, have been using a Prepaid Sim for the last more than two years and never thought of changing the Service Provider as was really happy with the service.

                  I received a call from a person named Nitin and Rajeev about getting the connection converted to POSTPAID. As I was using the phone a lot, it looked better to me when they told me that they are going to provide me the option of STD rates at Re 1/min, all local calls 50 paise and a validity of one year at Rs. 998/- only.

                  On 9th of June, a boy named Brijesh, dialled me and asked for my address to come to the home, and after I provided him the hint he was there.
                  I got the form(FORM NUMBER : 2250126) filled in and paid Rs 1000/- to him after getting verified that he is from that DSA. I also had a talk with Nitin at that time from the agent's phone.
                  Also Brijesh asked for the ID proof and photograph that I provided him as my Voter ID Card(I have the number of the card with me)

                  When I asked the agent about the SIM, he told me that the same SIM that I had been using will be converted to postpaid in just three to five hrs duration.

                  I waited for that time and got no response till late 9 PM after which I called Nitin who told that there is some network issue going on and hence it may take sometime.

                  After that I called up Nitin many times for the next five days but got no responses. (I also had all the conversation recorded on my mobile).

                  I then talked to Brijesh who told that he had left the company as they were fraud and that he had to take his money too.

                  After I continuously called him so many times, Nitin provided me the number for another person Angad Kapur stating that he was the RM for the company.

                  I talked to Angad who assured me that he would personally look into the matter and would get it done ASAP.

                  For the next three days, he responded to my calls atleast but after that everytime the mobile started going either busy or switched off.

                  AND AFTER THAT TODAY IT IS 20TH JUNE----

                  How many times I had called Brijesh, Nitin and Angad, I am not sure.

                  I also called up the number from where I got the call to get the SIM converted to postpaid and was really surprised to know that it landed to an Airtel DSA, that showed that the call was made from there itself.

                  I don't pay attention to loosing Rs. 1000/- as it is man only who commits mistakes.
                  But really very frustrated and agitated too that now willing to get the number changed.
                  And also having a fear if they get any card issued against my DOCUMENTS taken by them as the ID proof.

                  The EVIDENCES that I have with me are as follows:

                  1. Recorded video of Brijesh who took money from me
                  2. Voice conversations with Nitin and Angad
                  3. Numbers for all of them

                  There is one more number([protected]) that is there in the list as he once called me up again for the conversion of the CARD.

                  Hi there do not submit any kind of docs and money to the above mentioned DSA ...i got a call from sangeeta (executive)..she said submit the docs along with Rs. 300.00 and service will be activated within 5 days..now it has been over 20 days not single intimation from Airtel..when i approched airtel.. thehey did not received the doc and the money..Again when i called that sangeeta (i never seen such an executive )..she given one more useless fellow's number..he said will check and revert..but he did not.then i called that guy..there is no response ..just attended the call neither he keeping on hold nor answering.. So please do not beleive in such kind of fraud company.. i lost my money and docs..Beware of these dogs like sangeeta and satish poojary

                    Hi,

                    I have used Airtel and Its nothing but a top level scam company. I disputed my bill and one of thir collection agency said you need to pay only 1000 rupees against my 2300 rupees bill and I even disputed it stating I needed to pay only 900 since the other charges were on the period when I did not have connection at all.

                    I accepted to pay an 100 more rupees to close this and I got a reciept. Later one of my friends was contacted stating about my airtel payment which is violation of privacy. I called airtel and they apologized to my friend. After 3 months I got a court notice. I am unlike the people working for Airtel am from a good and respectable family, hence could not tolerate the shame and paid even that 1300.

                    So people its not connecting people...its commiting fraud...beware

                        I have an airtel mobile prepaid connection for last 4 years. I travel a lot and hence use roaming facilities. In the event of any complaints, or service request, 121 connect to local service centre. These people are of little help as the raise there hands once the No is identified as roaming one.
                        In one such case, while roaming I received one promotional call. The reason I was annoyed is that it was a No without any heading. So I received it and got charged for it. For listening to there promotional adds I had to pay. The only reason one wants a roaming facility is for people to be in touch and you will receive calls thinking it’s important. But Airtel even though it knows that a No is on roaming sends these promotional calls, without any header on No. To add to agony, if you need to complain you need to call from your mobile at STD rate to the home customer service.
                        For a company with slogan “ kabhi bhi kahi bhi milne wali service” a customer have go take half the worlds pain to file a complaint , Even after that the people there talk as if they are the final authority and its my mistake by accepting calls.

                        In the end I had spent 15Rs to file a complaint for 4 Rest. But what’s right is right.

                        .I registered in no call registry. But still the help is far away while roaming.
                        Hope airtel learned from my complaint.

                          When i turn on cell phone cell info instead of showing the location info Airtel/Hutch and Spice are showing up advertisement. This is a shear misuse of the purpose of this utility on phones for personal gains by these companies and is misleading the public.
                          This should be stopped immediately as the purpose of the cell info display on mobiles is to show the location of the tower which it is connected to and not to use it as a place holder for serving advertisement.

                              AirTel is the most worst service provider compared to other providers. I took one prepaid connection in Jul 2005 ( [protected]) and recharged with 1 year vaidation card on Apr 2007. After 6 months my SIM card blocked and I went AirTel office. They told that this no. is deactivated and it is gone to recycle. I did not understand how it is deactivated even validity is there? So I took another connection from Vodaphone and now I am not facing any issues with this new connection.my advice is please dont go for AirTel prepaid connection

                              Airtel — Please dont go for Airtel

                              Recently I have moved from Vodafone to Airtel using MNP. I took connection from Chrompet Airtel relationship centre in chennai. At that time I have submitted airtel Landline bill for address proof and my company ID card zerox for ID proof and they said this is enough. After some days I got SMS from airtel office to submit my address proof and ID proof. When I receive second message on[protected], I have immediately called 121 and asked customer care officer about my pending document to be submitted. But he said nothing is pending from my side and asked me to ignore that message.

                              On[protected] evening @ 4.15 PM I got one more call from airtel office and asked me to submit ID proof alone as company ID card zerox is not accepted for ID proof. Also he asked me to send ID proof through mail. Within 2 hrs (6.10 PM) on the same day I have sent scan copy of my PAN card through mail to [protected]@in.airtel.com from my company mail Id. On the same day @ 7.30 pm my connection got disconnected without any prior intimation.

                              I don’t bother if they disconnect only my outgoing service. But they totally suspended my connection and am getting error as "SIM Registartion Faild"

                              When I contact to customer care, they asked me to resubmit all the documents as they are missed my earlier submitted documents.
                              I have talked with Nodal officer and Appellate officer, but no use. Whenever I send mail to customer care then they will reply with some static content which are not at all relevant to my problem.

                              Today morning[protected] again I have submitted all the set of documents but still I didn't get any response.
                              Please be careful when you move to airtel.
                              Am running fourth day without connection.

Such person will certainly spoil your company image as well as goodwill reputation.
                                Now finally Fed up with this experience, we have decided to pay this bill as well as UP TO DATE final bill till 19 th Jan.08,In this connection you are requested to please send the final bill BUT FIRST OF ALL REMOVE OR DISCONNECTION THE TELEPHONE 45524402 “FREEDOM 550 PLAN” IMMEDIATELY WITHOUT ANY FURTHER DELAY.                                 Reference your letter dated June 11, 2008, xerox copy enclosed for your reference, acknowledging the receipt of my payment against your bill no. 129198 dated 21/05/2008, and my request for the discontinuation of the service made vide my letter dated June 3, 2008.

                                On receipt of your above mentioned letter and the subsequent telephonic discussion I had with your staff regarding the surrender of the above mentioned connection, I had hoped things have been settled as per my directions and wishes. However I regret to note that you have paid little heed to my request and have continued to raise false bill on me regularly without fail. Since then I have been served with two bills No. 416937 dated 21/06/2008 for Rs. 75.15 and recently with another bill no. 720972 dated 21/07/2008 for Rs. 458.18 which includes monthly charges for the period 20/06/2008 to 19/07/2008 for Rs. 383.03.

                                My above mentioned letter dated June 3, 2008 was a clear instruction from my part for the surrender of the service and was duly acknowledged vide your above referred letter. Then how was this fresh bill and demand been raised? The only logical conclusion one can derive is that in order to shore up your claims for false efficiency before your bosses you are prepared to adopt any means and the easiest one is to suppress a disconnection, to keep on raising false bills and after a time send legal notices to them and force these innocent people to pay.


                                The xerox copies of all the above mentioned bills and correspondence are enclosed for your reference. Please note unless I receive a categorical reply to this correspondence along with a no due certificate within seven days from your receipt of this letter, I shall be constrained move the appropriate forum for the redress of my grievances.

                                A copy of this letter is being forwarded to your lawyer, Mr. Chandrasekhar Sarkar informing him of the illegal activities of his client as well as to your head office informing them of the illegal, incompetent and unjustified activities of their Kolkata staff.

But after my repeated attempts to disconnect my airtel connection, no steps have taken, inspite i get my regular bill in against my connection, keeping it functional.
                                so plz take some immediate steps in against my complaint, I will be highly pleased .

                                Airtel Broadband — I DISCONNECTED THE CONNECTION BUT CALL AND SMS FOR PAYING THE BILL IS COMING REGULARLY

                                Hi ,
                                I had the broadband connection of airtel. Due to change in job I moved Gurgaon in Month of April -10. I called AIRTEL Broadband customer care and ask them to close my connection.Customer care logged my complaint.
                                Few days later I got call from airtel asking the reason for disconnecting the conection and they also given me the option to transfer the connection to any of my friends/relative.I denied there offer and said to disconnect my connection. After a week I got the call from customer care to pay my due amount of a week so that they can close my account.I paid the amount as said by the CC. But the story starts now after TWO month I start getting call regularly from customer care ,that I have not paid thier bill and my account is still active.This month as well I got SMS and Mail to pay bill of 4 months.
                                Please suggest what shall I do .I any case I am not going to pay the BILL as I have not used thier service because I have changed residence.

                                  An airtel tower has been installed in CHUNAKARA, KOTTAMUKKU JUNCTION, DIST. ALAPPUZHA, recently. I have an airtel connection, but there is no network of airtel is available at my residence which is hardly within two km towards east from the newly installed tower. Please do needful to get coverage in and around my residence.

                                  Airtel — No tower Coverage

                                  I have been making complains for my tower problem which is very low that my customers cant hear my voice clearly. i am making complains for last 15 months or so. several times they say that someone from airtel will come to your site and fix the problems. no one is here yet. i am having a lot of loss due to this as my customers are going to other vendors when they cant reach me as my phone is almost all time out of coverage. i want my tower to be cured as soon as possible. i cant even change my number as this is circulated all over in the market.

                                    i have your broadband connection on[protected] .i called your cust care on last monday, on that day i spend my 20 minuts with your agent from retention department, he committe me a retention pack of rs. 399 which is of 256kb speed unlimited and free 100 rs call, your agent said this package will activate within working 2 days. when i called cust care on wednessday your agent named "marshal" says your order get rejected due to plan is not available in pune. I WANTED THAT COMMITTED RETENTION PACK .

                                      I am an user of airtel postpaid connection and my cell no is [protected].I got this connection as an add on benefit to my husband's mobile as he enjoys a corporate connection with airtel. My husband Mr.Subarna Shyamroy contact no [protected] is a corporate customer of airtel as he is working for reliance industries.My no was working fine untill a couple of days when it started giving the message "sim card registration failed" It was an absolutely absurd situation if the connection suddenly gets hanged when u r in the middle of the day and out of home and all connectivity is lost!!! The same thing happened with me and i was absolutely lost and did not knew what to do. I frantically called up the two bloody so called helpline no's of airtel [protected] and 121 but none of those executives cud solve the problem insted kept me on hold for long long duration and kept on transferring the call from 1 dept to the other!!! The help line no's are also worthless where half of the options which are being constantly and meaninglessly repeated by the IVR does not work!!!

                                      Till date despite of several efforts by both me and my husband my sim is not working and it is still showing the same message as "sim card registration failed"and I want a resolution for the same.Its absolutely unacceptable from a service provider of such an utility service like a cellphone which is indispensible in today's world.
                                      I dont know whether any action will be taken in this regard or not but as a citizen of a democratic country I have the rights to voice out my grievances and I pray that stern actions should be taken against these kind of irresponsible service providers like AIRTEL!!!
