Hello sir,
I vipul tiwari (Mob-[protected];him city madiyawan sitapur road lucknow up 226013) purchased a wd 2 tb hard disk from your amazon website. There was some problem with product. Product has not a sticker. I told my problem to amazon then they filled a a to z claim. And told me to wait for 15 days. After 15 days no solution was there then on 19 june they claim a guarantee form and told me to wait for again 10 days. Ok i waited. After that no result. And in this time when i called amazon, they gave me only a next date or some more time or wait for 48 hr. Again after 10 days no solution and they gave me again a new date and told me to wait for some more time. Ok. Again in july when i called them then your senior executive mr. Amit promised me that with in 3 days refund will be in your account. Again no solution. Again when i call amazon on 9 july then you again told me that i m filling guarantee form and wait for 10 days.

Again they was asking me to contact to manufacturer. I contacted with manufacturer they said that your product has no sticker so no warranty. Now amazon is not doing any thing. Please help me

    I am writing this mail as i feel like being cheated by amazon order no[protected] and still dont know how to get out of this, the worst mistake to order an television worth rs 20k from you, after this experience i think amazon is not write platform to go for online shopping. Let me tell you the way you treated your customer:
    1) order was placed on 12 july and delivery date was committed by you guys as 20th july, till 19 of july there was no tracking update about product on your site, i called you guys almost 10 times in this period every time your representative assured call by next day as that moment he himself have no clue about where the product is, but a call never came back.

    2) on 19 july your site updated product as been shipped from gaziabad, initially in one call your representative told product is coming from banglore which seems to be know as lie (Still is does not matter where the product is coming from but u should give right information).

    3) gaziabad to shimla is hardly 10 hrs by road you people took four days to deliver the product with no update on your site about its tracking and again when i use to call your representative like always have no clue about where product is.

    4) finally product reached today and on opening it there was a big crack on screen on looking it seems like it has not happens in delivery but the defective product was packed like this by your seller m/s cloudtail,

    5) know i dont know what to do dont have trust on you guys, whether you will give the non defective product on replacement, and my money is already blocked with you as i have made the payment on 12 july itself by credit card.

    I have asked for replacement of product but trust on amazon is totally gone, cant believe that you can send a product which is damaged so badly to a customer, what was your seller m/s cloudtail thinking while doing such a thing.

    A television that i could have brought n a singly day by going to market now already 14 days have past and i think i will get it know at my home after a month. Your site is good to buy only less expensive items, just resolve this issue and will never buy any expensive item from you again.

    I am sure you wont even bother to reply for this mail, but i dont care just send the right product or i may raise the issue to higher level.
    Talked to your senior leadership people mr prashant d who told he will personally look into matter and call me back but no call came back.

      I ordered a screen guard called cellbell tempered glass screen protector for motorola moto g4 plus and my order no. Is[protected].
      It delivered yesterday and instead of taking 199rs, that person took 220 rs. I wasn't there at home so my mom took it and she was unaware about the exact price.
      When though my mom insisted him that price in website is 199rs, he refused and said that price is 220rs only.

          Totally i fed up in this 3 orders and also amazon service,

          I have ordered one mobile on 14th june that order has canceled due to some technical issues,

          Again i have placed the ordered for same samsung galaxy j7 sm-j700f (Gold) on 17th, but till now (23/7/2016) i did't received any update, (Till now that sealer is having stock) and that 1st order amount also i have not revived.

          Other than one more order i have placed for mobile cover, and i have received but fully damage condition, and your team have confirmed today 11 hr's to 14 hr's courier person will collect the damage product for replacement but he did't collected,

          I am sending daily mails also i am spending around 4 hrs for following this so i need this three items, also total amount i need back is it possible to get from amazon, because i have not received any solution for this form amazon also i have communicated around 32 mails i waited 10 days for this, so some one need to be tack care of customers but amazon is not tacking care of customers if you hear my all calls you know that.

            Hello,

            Everybody be warned that Amazon is just another Indian company and has all the corrupt backdoor tactics that Indian companies use; Two of my orders for books, were cancelled unilaterally- the first order for a french book for my daughter was cancelled by someone (mostly the seller) calling the call centre and cancelling-I only got the cancellation email without assigning any reason. Clearly an illegal tactic with impersonation and with Amazon's connivance to keep the seller's rating up[protected].

            In the second order,[protected], the buyer called me and told me that there is no stock. I requested that the same be mentioned in mail. He did not and cancelled the order from his side.

            In both cases, Amazon has given a fishy advantage to the seller so that they can treat customers like crap and still keep their ratings up. In short, the ratings are being manipulated by Amazon and its shady sellers.

            When you call they promise a lot of rosy things but it is just another Bull company guys. They side with their shady and crooked sellers more than protecting their buyers' interest.

              The package with tracking #:[protected] is out for delivery since yesterday. The delivery man promised yesterday, ie, 22/7/2016 that he will deliver within 1 and 1/2 hour, but has not delivered. Today, ie, 23/7/2016, also, i have phoned him twice once at 1.30 pm and 6.30 pm, but he has not delivered the item still.
              Kindly instruct the concerned delivery man to deliver this package urgently.

                  Bought a citizen watch on 10th july at about 45% discount on amazon.In
                  Expected delivery: 15th july.
                  First deadline missed, 2nd deadline set as 19th july
                  2nd deadline missed, over chat 3rd deadline is set on 22nd july
                  Missed again, now i am being told that the item is lost so i need to place a fresh order. Money is being refunded within next 7 days
                  But problem is, the current price is about rs.10000 for the same watch. Why would i pay 10000 for something that i paid for @ rs.5500 (Approx.)
                  Also, because of amazon i lost a chance to buy the same watch at a discounted rate from other sites like flipkart.com & snapdeal.com. They also had similar discounts going on at that time. But now the sale is off from those sites too.

                  So for amazon.In i not only lose a chance to buy from this watch at a cheaper rate, i am also likely to be charged by my credit card for the emi option i chose while paying.Net net i lose on every ground.

                      I am quoting below the mail that i have sent to jeff bezos which contain all the information about the issue. Please note that the issue here is not about the product but about amazons policies and service and its mistreatment of the customers.

                      Dear sir,

                      I’ve been a customer of amazon for about a year now and have placed multiple orders. However, in this particular instance, i’ve had such a horrible experience of ordering with amazon that has left me wondering if amazon has also gone the flipkart route in india of not delivering on anything that it promises. The case in point is regarding order#[protected] for which i’ve contacted amazon so many times that the time i’ve spent on calls and chats is probably more than the time i would have needed to go to the market and buy the product from there. Even so, i still decided to spend time on writing this email to you describing the happenings in this particular order because i am tired of being repeatedly lied to and contradicted by different members of the amazon team. You might already have it all on records in any case through multiple calls and chats that i’ve had with amazon representatives but i’d like to state the basic issue one more time for you to understand while clearly everyone else from amazon has failed to do so.

                      I had first contacted amazon about a particular mobile sometime last week asking if i can order 2 of the same item (Which has limit of 1 item per customer) as i wanted to gift 2 phones to my parents. I was told that i’ll have to contact the seller directly and will wait for 3-4 days but it can happen. I, however, wanted the delivery sooner as i had to take the phones to my parents place by myself. So i placed an order for 2 different phones and phone covers on 15th july. Also, since the items are not available at my zip code, i asked a colleague of mine and placed the order at his address who would then bring the items to me in the office. What happened after that is as below:

                      19th july, 4:00 pm: delivery of 1 item attempted. Could not be delivered as the house was closed. I asked the delivery person if the delivery could be made before noon the next day. He said that it will be done.
                      19th july, 5:00 pm: delivery of second item attempted. Same thing happened as above with the same assurance.
                      19th july, 7-8 pm: i contacted amazon customer care representative regarding missed delivery. I was told that the item will be delivered the next day before noon.

                      I asked my friend to stay at his home till noon and come to office after that so that he can receive the items for sure.

                      20th july: no delivery attempted/no contact made by anyone
                      20th july, 7:30 pm: contacted amazon customer care representative again and asked about the status. Was told the delivery will be made the next day. Again, i could not ask my colleague to stay back at home every day so i asked the representative that since there are a total of 4 items to be delivered (All from 1 order and split into 4 packages) and all are to be anyways delivered by friday, 22nd july, can all the packages be delivered on friday before noon. That way, i told him, that i’ll not have to ask my friend to stay back waiting for the package on 2 days. I was told that the courier team (Ats) has been contacted it will be done.

                      21st july, 8 pm: i saw that the status on 2 of the items has been updated on the website as ‘pickup scheduled with the courier’. Again contacted amazon on chat and asked about it. I was told that it’s just reported that way and the packages will be delivered to the given address by noon. I requested if all the packages can be delivered at once but i was told that there are multiple courier centres and it cannot be assured that all the packages be delivered together but they will be delivered before noon for sure. I was fine with 4 different packages as long as they were being delivered before noon. I repeatedly told the representative about the requirement of it to be delivered before noon being because of me being in noida where my colleague would bring the gift items from his home in delhi where the delivery is being made. I had to leave for my parents place at 7 in the evening from noida and could only take the items if they were delivered before noon on friday, 22nd july. I was assured it will be done and that i am worrying unnecessarily.

                      22nd july, 9 am: none of the items were out for delivery yet. Called up amazon customer care this time. Reminded that the package as to be delivered by noon and was again assured that it will be done. Was told that i’ll receive update about out for delivery in half an hour. Was also told to not worry and that it’ll be done. And that courier has been contacted and informed about it being a high priority delivery.
                      22nd july, 9:15 am: true to amazons word, got a message regarding out for delivery with the delivery persons phone number. Only problem is that the phone number was incorrect. The person at the other end was not a delivery person and not from amazon either.
                      22nd july, 9:20 am: contacted amazon again telling about the issue. Was told again that it must have been some mistake. Was confirmed this time that the package will be delivered before 11:30 am. I was told to not worry about the package and that i’ll just receive the call from the person when he is at the doorstep around 11 am.
                      22nd july, 11:30 am: still no sign of any delivery person so contacted amazon again. This time i was told that ‘we can never assure anyone of any time frame of delivery. I apologize that someone promised you so but we can only have the delivery by 8 pm. We cannot do anything about that.’ then i was told about the procedure of how contacting the courier team works and how the person will follow a map and cannot make an exception and in fact cannot be contacted at all about making a ‘priority’ delivery. Soon after i was asked if i’d like to change the address of delivery and that the item could be delivered to that address today itself without ever explaining how amazon can contact the person about a new address but not about a timely delivery. I was told to wait for just a little bit longer in any case.
                      22nd july 1 pm: after asking my friend to wait back for one more hour and not come to office before 1 pm, the item was still not delivered and i contacted amazon again. Again i was repeatedly told that amazon does not have a policy of making any promises and they have no idea why someone did so. And this is all being told to me when all the promises made by previous representatives did not come true. After telling the representative 4-5 times that the address is now closed and that there is no one to receive that item there anymore, i was being told that amazon will make sure that i receive the package before 8 pm. I don’t know why there was an issue with the simple understanding that an order cannot be delivered to a closed door.
                      22nd july 4 pm: delivery was finally attempted (All 4 items by 1 person). As expected, there was no one at home. The delivery person called me up and upon asking him he specifically said that he was not informed about any time requirement for the delivery. He was not contacted by anyone regarding delivery before noon. So clearly, either amazon representatives lied about having conveyed it to the delivery person or he lied about not being told.In all, it was amazon team lying to me as a whole.
                      22nd july 6:15 pm: being really set off by repeated contradicting statements from different people at amazon, called up amazon again and talked to a senior executive hoping someone can explain to me why amazon is giving me contradictory statements. I was again burdened with plethora of apologies and excuses and statements regarding the procedure – the very same one in which the customer has to call up amazon and ask them to make sure the package is out for delivery – and all the diplomatic statements. Tired of being harassed so much and getting late for my departure from noida, i left.

                      23rd july, 6 am: receive messages for 3 items being out for delivery.
                      23rd july 8 am: i contact amazon again regarding why the fourth package is not out for delivery. I was told that probably the status has not been updated and that they have requested for the status to be updated. I was again told a number of things ranging from procedural limitations to ‘there being some problems off late with amazons courier service’ - which frankly is not my concern as a customer.In between the 1 hour call, i somehow got messages regarding the contact details of people delivering my 3 items – this time again 2 different people are delivering it even though i’ve requested them to be delivered together and all the packages are clearly being sent from the same centre and could have been sent together just like yesterday. After being told that amazon customer care representatives do not have the contact details of the courier centres or the delivery people, i provided the representative with the phone number of the delivery person as contacted to me. I was put on hold and was told that they have been personally informed to deliver the 3 items before noon today. Also, i was told that even though the estimated delivery date as already passed, there is yet another delivery date that amazon has in mind and that my items will be delivered before 16t july for sure. Also, i was told to wait and see till noon today about the 3 packages and was told that i will definitely get a call regarding the status of the 4th item as well.
                      23rd july 9:30 am: i contacted the delivery person and was again told that he will deliver before noon but that he was definitely not contacted by anyone regarding the package delivery before noon. So again, either the senior executive from customer care lied as well or the delivery person lied again. The senior executive that i talked to today had verbatim confirmed me that he had talked to the delivery person on phone and confirmed delivery before noon. This is when i got frustrated and started writing this mail.

                      As of now, it’s noon here. 2 of the items have been delivered. 1 item is still out for delivery and will most probably go back because no one will be at home after this. I am still waiting for update on 1 item which was originally supposed to be delivered before noon on 20th july.

                      Dear sir, i do not know what amazon’s policy is and what is not. I do know that amazon promised me certain things – knowingly/unknowingly, wrongly/rightly – which were never fulfilled. Moreover, amazon later denied having made any such promises. Also, either the customer care representatives or the delivery team is clearly lying to me. But for me the entire procedural setup – even including the part where i have to get in and inform that my items are not being delivered – belongs to amazon. There is not even a third party involved in the same. And still, i’ve heard so many versions for the same policies that i do not know what to believe in.

                      I had asked a simple question to your representatives yesterday and i am asking the same to you. I am not even in noida anymore right now which is close to delhi. I am at my parents place where i come once in 3-4 months. I am in my first salaried job and i wanted to gift my parents something. I had even told them that i have ordered mobiles for them and i’ll be bringing them with me. Now, if amazon representatives had told me on 19th july itself that they cannot guarantee delivery before noon on any day, i’d have cancelled the order. I do not have a lot of money to spend so i’d have received my refund by friday morning and would have gone to a local store and bought the gift for my parents. But i was promised that it will be done. And i was promised the same even till friday morning 9:30 am. I am right now at my parents place and don’t have the gift i promised them. I don’t know about amazons policies but as superficial as it may sound to you, i’d have liked to stick to my promise i made to my parents. Even if i cancel the order now, there are no shops here at my parents place where i can buy good mobiles from. Amazon does not deliver these items to this small town because of some policies i am not concerned with. The only option that i am left with is to go back to noida, get the item from my friend when and if he gets it and then probably send the same to my parents via courier. I am not very convinced about sending such costly things via courier and i am sure you understand because amazon does not deliver such costly things at that zip code as well. When a multi-billion dollar company like amazon does not want to deliver such high priced things to a remote zip code, how can i be convinced to risk this amount from my multi-thousand savings? Even if i do send it to them via courier, i’d have still liked to see their expressions when i give them the first gift from my own earnings. Thanks to amazon that is definitely ruled out. Sir, what is a customer supposed to do in such a case when very clearly amazon could have been clear upfront instead of making false promises which apparently could not have been made in the first place? What is a customer supposed to do when he has pro-actively been contacting amazon regarding the packages to make sure they are even sent for delivery and yet the customer is being played around by the delivery team and the customer care team? What is a customer supposed to do when a company that calls itself the most customer centric company changes its stance the moment it fails to deliver on its promises? I have been told a number of times since yesterday that i can cancel the order and get the refund and yes i do value my money a lot but what would i do with the money when it can’t be used for the simple act of wanting to gift your parents something? I don’t need to be told that i can cancel the order and get a refund – that is obvious – but i instead need to know on what basis does amazon decides it’s policies regarding making promises to customers and what it means with being customer centric when it can’t deliver such a small promise on the part of amazon – and yet which means a lot to the customer - for 4 days straight?

                      I apologize if at any point during the entire process and in writing this mail i’ve offended anyone or made any mistake. I also apologize to the customer care representatives who i have used a harsh tone with because they were still doing their jobs and telling me things that they have been trained to say with whatever limited resources they have. I do not wish this to be a complaint against an individual having made any false promises but about amazon not being clear about what it can promise and what not.

                        On 19 july 2016 i got call of delivery boy at that time i was not available at home. i told him to delivered next day, he says that we are not delivered it next time. After some time one of my frnd calling him to for delivery he denies to delivered it and strated misbehaving. his behaviour so rude and cant be tolerated

                          I ordered a redmi note 3 from amazon.in on 8 jul 2016, my order no. is[protected] & got estimited delivery date 15 jul 2016.& got a massege form amazon.in regarding date of delivery, your mobile will be delivery on today (13 jul 2016), but did't deliver on the estimated date & 14 jul 2016 again got msg from amazon.in your order canceled but when i contacted to customer care they apolozied for that and assure me my order definitely will deliver till 22 jul 2016. when i contacted to customercare on same date (22 jul), they tolled me you will have to place order again for the product.

                            Good day,

                            I have placed an order with amazon on 13th july 2016 for lutyens unisex black beige laptop bags; the price of which was rs 1, 999. And have paid rs.50 extra for guaranteed delivery by 16th july 2016 as this order was very important to me. I have paid total rs. 2, 049 through my icici debit card. This bag was a gift for my sister who stays abroad and i had to send it to her through someone who was supposed to leave india today morning and was supposed to deliver it to her there.

                            Firstly i did not receive the bag as requested by amazon on 16th july i. E. Saturday.

                            I have contacted amazon on 20th july and chatted with 2 people who assured me that it will be delivered urgently by 21st july as they have put this on top priority. Still no response yesterday. I called up customer service yesterday twice explaining them the urgency again with no help. The customer people didn’t even know where the package was and frustrated me very much.

                            The rep i chatted with on 20th assured me rs 50 will be credited to my account as it was for express delivery and i still didn't receive my order for which i already received the amount of rs.50. However finally after much frustration and no confirmation from amazon i had to cancel the order yesterday as they were not able to leave up to their commitment to deliver on many occasions. They said i will receive remaining amount of rs. 1999 which i am yet to receive.

                            Because of amazon i have already felt a lot of embarrassment as i was not able to send the gift to my sister as commitment and also due to the mental harassment faced during the last few days would like to file a case against amazon india for mental haraasement and not leaving upto the expectations as promised and very poor customer service.

                            Please look into this matter and help my case get lodged at the earliest and also to get my refund asap as i have no more patience left and will go to any extent to sue amazon india.

                              I ordered an item on 15th june, 2016.

                              But i got a totally broken item. So i returned it on 24th june, 2016 via indian post
                              Tracking number was: ew[protected]in

                              After that i several time claimed my refund from amazon. Amazon a-to-z guarantee program want my complaint number to indian post website.
                              I complained on indian post website and send the complain number to amazon amazon a-to-z guarantee. Complain number:[protected]
                              Amazon assured me to refund within 20th july but after doing complain several times it not paid my refund.

                                I purchased a towel product from amazon on the basis of reviews done on that product. I realized that the 5 star reviews done are fake as those who had done reviews got the product for free so i inferred that product is not worth having and i cancelled the product before i received it. But still they delivered the product to me even after cancelling the product. Since, i wasn't at home so my parents accepted the product and paid cash on delivery. When i came to know regarding this i called customer care & told them to refund the money to me & take their product & refund should be done in the form of cheque, not gift voucher. I also wrote a mail in this regard and they assured me that refund will be done in the form of cheque. So i returned the product but when i received the refund, it was still in the form of gift voucher which basically means that my money is locked with amazon & i will have to use that 399 for shopping on amazon only. I called the customer care in this regard and they were not at all helpful. They said they can't do anything in this regard now. I confronted them that why didn't they adhered to my request for which they had no answer. They didn’t comply to their own words. Earlier, they had convinced me that the money will be sent in form of cheque but now they are not doing so. I want my money back & i don't want their gift voucher. Kindly help

                                      I odered a back back on amazon and 8th june and got the delivary by 23rd of june but as I was not satisfied with the product the placed a return and which was taken on 25th of june and the refund has to be given with in 10 working days but I dnt get my refund and when I loggined into my account I saw that there were no orders placed in last 6 months and when I tried contacting you even u gave me the same information and when I told about the tracking return screen shots you asked me to email my problem with the ss and I did it the way you said so pkease help me to slove the problem its a very majour issue and I am very unhappy about it ☹

                                        I have purchased samsung amazon led tv (order #[protected] on 4th april 2016 and at that time there was an offer of rs 2000 cashback on it if i pay the amount through hdfc credit card. i made the payment through the same but now customer care executive say that your name is not in our list and we cann't pay you a cashback, you can take the gc from amazon instead of cashback.

                                        Even they promised me that the cash back will credit in your account latest by 6th july 2016. now i call several times the amazon customer care centre, they are not ready to give me the cashback.

                                        I have purchased a pen drive from Amazon which is of Transcend company.
                                        they have said that the product is having life time warranty.
                                        my pen drive got corrupted within 3 months and when I requested for return they are not considering my request.
