Hi, my name is immanuel rakesh, i am a bpo worker who gets his normal salary every month. Here the reason i am raising a complaint is that my axis bank savings account has been put on a lien. The reason for lien is because i have an ecs from capital first bank. There was a miss of ecs and it bounced without passing due to less cash in the account. Now i have called the customer care and they said each time if there is an ecs miss there will be a charge of rs.600+gst. But the bank has charged me rs.3800 for the month of august. Now in the month of september again the bank has charged me rs. 5291.52 what is this charge for? I tried calling my account manager his phone is always busy and it says they will call me back, but i haven't received any call yet. Tried axis bank chat support, even they are busy attending other customers. I went directly to the bank and they said if there is one ecs bounce then there will be rs.5000 charge per transaction.
Axis bank what are you trying to prove here? If you people don't have money to run the bank pls close the bank, or go beg in streets. Why do you people charge a customer who is from the middle class and suck their blood?
5000 rupees is not the small amount. It is my entire monthly food expense. I need the bank to remove the lien asap. If they don't do it asap i will raise an ombudsman complaint against the bank.
