EVER SINCE THIS CREDIT CARD WAS ISSUED TO ME ABOUT THREE MONTHS BACK,I AM NOT GETTING THE CRAD STATEMENTS MONTHLY DESPATCHED BY COURIER TO MY RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS. THIS IS SURPRISING. WILL THIS BE LOOKED INTO IMMEDIATELY AND THIS FEDIIT CARD STATEMENT DESPATCHED BY COURIER TO MY RESIDENTIAL ADDRESS EVERY MONTH?

    I Yogendra Kumar Yadav had taken personal loan from Citibank having Personal Loan No. E[protected] and had cleared my all dues of loan on 13/09/10 with amount of Rs.32169.00 vide cheque no 145442'
    The receipt no. for the same of Citibank is 7533 and the said amount has been paid to Citibank as per my bank records.
    Please resolve the issue of NO OBJECTION CERTIFICATE immediately.

    i aziz s.panjwani was enjoying citi bank loan. i was paid my all due on[protected] inspite of that bank has not give N O C. also they are asking useless information by email. they have all information inspite of that they are not sending N O C to me. l have taken new loan from other bank and they ask N O C for city bank. and citi bank has igonering my request.my new loan is still pending and my business account is not working in new bank a.c. please do something for me

      I have a Suvidha Account in CitiBank from year 2003. For the last few months, instead of the balance amount accruing interest, Rs.250/- is deducted from the balance. On checking with website, above reason could be found out. The bank has not sent any warning letter regarding minimum balance to be maintained or reason for deducting some amount every month.

      Now, I will approach the bank and close my account as same amount maintained in Nationalised Bank would have fetched me better returns and piece of mind!

        Dear Sir,

        My company had opened a salary account for the employees with citibank suvidha and I have reseigned from the company since 2008, inspite of my two written complaints with the head office at chennai, I still receive statement charging interest on my account till date.There has been no transaction since 2008, but still I have beeb receiving statements from citi bank for payment of Interest for maintaining the account. THey have been harassing me for no fault of mine.They are not attending to my complaint nor are they closing my account.The record very clearly shos that no transactions have taken place since 2008.Please resolve this at the earliest or I will have to approach the consumer court, as this is not acceptable at all.

          I have a Credit Card of Citibank since January 2008, which was issued to me when I was in Delhi. I have also the Internet and Telephone banking facility on this card. Now I am in Arunachal Pradesh since December 2009. Here I have joined NIC (Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communication and IT, Govt. of India) as Scientific Officer. So I changed my personal details of credit card accordingly using Internet Banking.

          All the transactions of Credit Card with Citibank was going well before 06 December 2010, but on this date when I logged in on my Credit Card Internet Banking account, I found an unbilled amount of Rs. 6250.00 as of “PERSONAL DRAFT CHARGE” . I also looked my Contact Details where I found Email-ID and Address was not belonging to me. Immediately I corrected my Contact Details and called the Citibank Customer Care. I asked about above mentioned unbilled amount, which transaction was actually not done by me. The Tele-Caller said that, amount for “PERSONAL DRAFT CHARGE” as of Rs. 6250.00 is the processing charge for issuing of draft for a loan. I was shocked to know the same and informed him/her that I have never raised any request for such loans. I also informed about the wrong Email-ID and Address which was not belonging to me. Then the Tele-Caller asked me about the leakage of my personal details, which I have never shared with anyone. After that the Tele-Caller blocked my Credit Card and suggested me to block my Internet Banking. I blocked my Internet Banking instantly. After 2 days later I got a call from investigation team from where I knew a loan of Rs. 2,50,000.00 (Two Lakhs Fifty Thousand) has been issued on behalf of my Credit Card. I strongly denied for that and later I informed this matter in local Police Station. The matter is still under the investigation of Citibank.

          Now, I am undergoing a lot of mental harassments due to such a fraud instance with me. I have never requested to Citibank for any kind of loan and change of personal details.

          So, please help me to resolve this issue.

              The CitiBank Site never works properly. Never opens properly.
              OR just hangs in between transaction.
              Their policy is to discourage "the coming of their customers to the bank physically", to do any transactions.
              They boast that they have made banking very easy/simple & happy experience to their customers by keeping it at the finger-tips of their customers.
              But this is the case always.

              What is the use of providing such use-less site which never gets connected or hanged in between. we have to refresh 100-times before it gets connected. even after getting connected nobody knows when & where it will hang.

              If they can't provide quality services to their customers, Let them remove their site altogether.
              It's not "Happy experience" it's totally an "Embarassing experience" doing transactions on this site.

              Will the authorities look into this matter atleast now?

                  hi ,

                  i had taken composite loan from citibank ( home loan number 317463)

                  out of Rs. 1646000 sanctioned i had taken only 7 lakhg rupee . all these days i promtly paid my emi's . now i have rs. 1.41 lakh left over . I wanted to close this money . When i have asked for pre closure letter they have put 2 % on whole amount even which is not dispersed . for 1.41 lakh rupees their pre closure charges are Rs. 25000 . When i asked them they are telling they are charging pre closure chages on the un dispersed amount .

                  When i took the loan they have sanctioned it at an intereste rate of 9 %. now i am paying 12 % interest .

                  Plz. let me know is it legal and ethical for a bank to charge pre closure charges on un dispersed amount

                    Citibank Ready Cash Personal Loans

                    Citibank provides Personal loans however same people working in the same company with same salary can get different Rate of Interest, processing fees or preclosure charges. How does that happens? They will offer you a rate of interest but you can get them reduced from the offered amount. Everybody is not aware of that. I opted and got higher rates than my friends got. So got to known how to get that reduced. If you are applying for loans then call me and i will tell you what to do to get it reduced or if you need any other assistance. So far the techniques are provided by the agents who process your files. To reduce the rates you have to get the approval and have to refuse to take the load at the last confirmation which you will receive from Chennai. Then you will be offered lower rates. That is what has been followed by my friends and got benefit.

                    Not all people know about that RBI has different department called THE BANKING OMBUDSMAN to address such issues.

                      I am Krishna Chaitanya from Bangalore.
                      I had applied for a Credit Card with Citi Bank a few years ago which I never received it.
                      However, offlate I have receiving threatening calls from the Recovery Agents abusing me to rapay the outstanding amount on the Credit Card which I never used it.
                      Since I stopped answering their calls on my Cell phone, they started calling my Office to try and get in touch with me.
                      I work for a reputed Organization and I dont want to them to spoil my image by making such threatening calls at work.
                      Please let me know what kind of details would you be needing to further look into this issue as it is very frustrating and embarassing for me to go to work.

                        i had deposited a cheque of Rs.1,19,400/- bearing cheque no 180746, dated 08.10.10 of IDBI bank for my citi bank credit card dues . it was deposited at citibank, bhubaneswar branch, drop box . till now they have not cleared the cheque . when contacted they are saying that cheque is missing and they have charged a penality for late payment.

                              Dear Sir,

                              I have a credit card issued from Citi Bank card no: [protected]. I had taken Loan of Rs 2,19,000.00 in December 2007 with monthly EMI of Rs 6548.00 for 4yrs. I start to pay the EMI of Rs 6548.00 from Checks of my ICICI Account. In Feb 2010 I fill the form to register for ECS clearing for Balance of EMI's and the same has been confiremed by citi bank that your ECS is activated and from Month of april the EMI will we debited through ECS from ICICI bank.

                              But this will not happened and when I checked the statement of ICICI bank for April 2010 there is no transiction made from Citi bank. Immediately I write mail to customer care of citi bank regarding the reason for no transiction of EMI through ECS.
                              Citi Bank replied to me that there is issue regarding the ECS registration from ICICI Bank and we sent letter to get the ECS register. After that there is no reply from Citi Bank and when I speak to Citi Bank in June they Asked me to Deposit last three month EMI( April to June 2010) and after that the rest of EMI will be deducted through ECS and I do the same . But again when I checked and found the EMI's are not debited from my ICICI Bank Account.

                              I again write mail to Citi Bank for the above issues and problem I am facing. First they add late fee and additional service charges and ask me to pay these charges along with previous EMI's. But when I give them details regarding all the communication i had made with Citi Bank they ask me to pay only the EMI's of previous month by cash or check and after that the EMI will be debited by ECS.

                              But after that I had recevied mail from Citi bank that the your Loan account is pre closed and you need to pay the whole amount at the earliest.

                              I spoke to Citi Bank and write mails about the problem but they reply we are unable to rebook the loan.

                              But on 20th Oct 2010 thay debit Rs 14,588.00 from my ICICI Bank account through ECS as minimum payment due against my card out standing balance.

                              Kindly look in to the matter and help me resolve the issue. I am able to pay only EMI's not the whole amount.
                              Please refer to the attached all the mails I have wrote and receeived from citi bank .

                              We are concerned note that your bankers have not received the same. We have resent the copy of ECS mandate to your bank through Blue Dart Courier vide Airway Bill Number [protected] on September 20, 2010. We request you to contact your bankers and register the same in your bank account to avoid future bounce.

                              We have not received any payment towards the dues in your card for a considerable period of time.

                              As a consequence, the loan availed in your card ending 6008 has been preclosed.

                              When the loan availed in the card account is preclosed, the following charges are applicable.

                              - Balance Principal Outstanding - Rs. 86,821.53
                              - Prepayment charges @3% on the outstanding principal - Rs. 2,604.64
                              - Interest for the trailing period, ie number of days between the last EMI billed date and the date of closure of the loan. - Rs. 1,374.67
                              - Service Tax @10.30 % on the Preclosure Charge. - Rs. 268.28.

                              We regret our inability to rebook the loan preclosed in your card account.

                              As on date, your card account reflects an outstanding of Rs. 90,706.53.

                              We request you to please the make the payment towards this amount.

                              Thanks for your reply.

                              As per my discussion over phone today with Mr Gaurav of City Bank it
                              is clear that three installments are due till date i.e. (* From July 2010 to
                              Sep 2010*).So total amount which I has to pay is of *Rs 19,644.00* with out
                              any late fee,etc.

                              However inspite of 20th Sep-2010 Mail ,the bank had never ask me to contact
                              with my banker for registration of ECS, also Citi bank confirmed me about
                              the registration of ECS and no need to pay installment through checks from
                              April-2010 onwards.Further when I make a call to bank at end of June 2010,
                              they asked me to make payment of Rs 20,000.00 to complete the out standing
                              dues and then from July-2010 onwards the installment will be taken by
                              ECS,but till date the ECS is still not activated and bank had also not made
                              any communication regarding the issue until unless I will initiate by
                              writing mail to you.

                              So I only pay *Total Amount of Rs 19,644.00* toward my Installments for last
                              three month. Any penalty or late fee will be not attributable to me as this
                              is not my fault any were.

                              So I request you to kindly made arrangements to make the reversal of late
                              fees and other charges from my account.

                              Note: (After paying the above amount the total 33 Installments will be
                              completed out of 48 installments any only 15 installments were left.)

                              Citi — Assistance required

                              Hi All,

                              I need assistance. in 2003 April I needed to pay around 45000/- that I could not pay due ot financial problem and later they also never sent any statement and now after 4.5 years thay sent me a notice demanding 296000/0. Pls help me what should i be doing ? I am reay ot settle the dues but they are charging exorbitant interest rates and penalties etc. Is ther any wayout?

                              Citibank — credit card re issuance

                              My Citibank card number **** **** **** **** has been blocked as Citibank thought that someone else might be using my card. However after me making several attempts to get a new card issued I gave up and forgot about the card because of the poor services offered. Now when I again tried to get the card issued everything was going fine but I wanted the card to be delivered to a different address, the usual process started(Problems, problems and problems)when I requested the lady to get the address changed I was told that the only way to do that is through a mail. Now I guess this is really frustrating I am travelling overseas on 8th morning and I really don’t think that i will be able to receive the card before 8th and in the first place itself when Citibank called me and said that the account has been compromised and they suggested me to close it, the new card should have been automatically re issued as it neither was my mistake nor my suggestion to close.

                              ICICI Bank — Unauthorised presentation of ECS

                              Sir,

                              I could not pay the ECS due for the month July. The ICICI representatives just tortured me over phone like anything. Despite repeated warnings by Supreme Court, they seem to be least bothered. Apart from telephone tortures, they gone to the extreme end by presenting ECS thrice in one month sweeping all money in my account. DOES THIS NOT TANTAMOUNT TO THEFT? How Can they present ECS thrice in a month and who has given authority to ICICI to sweep my account?

                              Just tell me whether can I complaint to Supreme Court directly through email in case you cant take severe action against them.

                              i regret to inform you that i have two monthly policy no.2361906 and 2361944 .inspite of several request my monthly premium amount was not debited to my account in time so that i unable to cover under policy risk.


                              For that i would like complain against your service that due your late action i fail to stay within the risk coverage


                              kindly confirm me the above progress report of above complain no as soon as posible otherwise i have to take further action.

                                Dear sir/ma'am,

                                I had an account with Citibank since 2008 with account numbers ER [protected] and [protected]. During my services in Citibank (back office), the company was sold of to TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) and after I quit TCS Eserve Ltd. on May 2009, I decided to close my account with Citibank which was now a part of TCS.
                                Therefore, when I asked my provident fund to be credited to my Citibank account which was Rs. 9,800/-, it almost took a year for them to do that and it was finally credited around March 2010, though I sent the necessary documents regarding to the closing of my Citibank account even through registered post.
                                I then decided to end the whole account with Citigroup and transfer all my funds which was there with Citibank (which was Rs. 35,116.25) to my Bank Of India account Noida, sector-9 branch, and thus on 21st April 2010 I closed my account with Citigroup telling them to transfer my amount with them to my account with Bank Of India branch in Noida, sector-9 but still nothing has been done with regard to this.
                                I sincerely hope that you will take necessary action against this and also allow me to get suitable compensation as I have lost interest on the amount on the fixed deposit because of this unnecessary delay.

                                  Instead of withdrawing minimum payment from my savings account as authorized for my CC payment, Citibank credit card division withdrew all available funds in my savings account without any prior notification. This led to my other issued checks on the verge of bouncing. My CC account was in good standing and no payment was ever missed or delayed as I had standing instructions. I was out of the Country travelling and saw a zero balance note on my savings bank account and that is when I called Citibank but three associates hung up on me – Pradeep Bora, Gaurav Kansal and a supposedly Sr. officer John from Chennai.

                                  This is extremely frustrating and pathetic state of service and fooling of customers. This is misuse of consumer authorizations and Citibank should be sued for such practices.

                                      I had applied for credit card of Citi bank looking into the benefit and saving on Petrol cost. But bank rejected my application.
                                      Comments from bank are " Date :[protected]:36:02.0Ref no :[protected](Please mention this in all correspondence) Dear <Name> Thank you for your application for a INDIANOIL CITIBANK TITANIUM CREDIT CARD We have reviewed your application. We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to approve your application for a Citibank Card, as feedback from Credit Bureau of India Ltd (CIBIL) does not meet our minimum credit criteria. Please note this does not mean negative credit feedback."

                                      Please help me to know the reson.

                                      Go to www.cibil.com
                                      Pay Rs 142 and send the courier to Cibil for a report, simple !
                                      If your default is small, resolve it with the concerned company and request them to delete the default from CIBIL.
                                      If the default is big, then solve the difference asap and wait for 2 years to get a good rating.
