Hello Sir/ Madam,

I Sagar Arora, writing to you regarding an unacceptable misconduct by one of the employees (Mr. Manish Sharma +[protected] at CHIS, MGF MALL, Saket, My Wife visited at Haldiram’s Jwala Heri Market Month back and there by mistake she filled your form. And today 14th November 2018 she got a call from one of your employee (mentioned above). On the first call he told her that they are giving us 3 gifts as she filled a form at Haldiram Jwala Heri Market... He Told her that she is a lucky winner to get these gifts and he invited us at Saket MGF Mall to collect all such gifts. Firstly my wife agreed n said yes to him that we are coming to Saket... And All of a sudden we changed our mindset and we refused to get all such gifts as he told us. After saying No to Him he continues called us for 50-60 times in few hours to convince us...
It is sad to mention that the curt addressal by him was highly dissapointing which evoked some argument. Being customers we do expect some benevolence (kindness) at the counter which seemed to be blatantly (Shamefully) ignored. Saddened by the worsening argument, I approached to Customer Care Number and had a word with Ms Vishakha and I shared everything with Vishakha but surprisingly his bad behaviour continued to cross a level of tolerance. He again Called us many times I hereby request you to kindly take an action against him (Mr Manish Sharma +[protected] for his curt behaviour with abusive language and thus take a step towards improvisation of your customer services. Also if not taken any action soon, I would have to sadly turn up to higher authorities against your company and that employee with no other alternative. i hope for a speedy response to my request.

    This is my worst experience with a country holiday inn & suites/chis (Don’t confuse it with country inn). The sweetness and the gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions saying that you can read it later.

    So unfortunately i have paid 40k y’day on 1st november and rest 50k have to pay in emi

    Total amount was 90k

    They false commited like:-

    1. They didn’t inform that i can’t use my 35 days in one year as per agreement only 6 nights
    2. I have to pay emc (Maintainence) amount before plannig a trip but there they said i have to pay this amount end of the year.

    First they swiped my card after showed the agreement and didn’t get the chance to read (Sir baad m padh lena trust kro sb sahi hai)

    I want my refund back.
    Its morethan expensive so please help me get my money back.

      Hi,

      I have filled one coupon at dlf mall noida, few months back where the person told me that ‘country inn’ has opened new hotels at few locations including shimla, jaipur, goa etc. And they will provide you 2 nights/3 days stay at their new hotels if your names comes in lucky draw.

      In last weeks i was receiving calls from a girl she was telling her name pooja informing that i won the lucky draw for free vacation along with pvr voucher. I was not willing to go as i don’t trust in these offers, so i denied. But she kept on convincing me that i just have to visit the garden galleria mall with my wife for collecting the freebies. I finally said okay, i will come. They sent me a text message from pooja –
      (Welcome country holidays inn & suites india pvt. Ltd.

      "congrats!
      Mr. And mrs. Today both are invited to collect your gift vouchers your 1st voucher is 1 couple movie tickets 2nd voucher 2night & 3day holiday voucher collect your voucher at for all details.. Plz take a 45 minutes

      Yesterday october 21st when i visited given venue then prince, feroz and 2 other person tried to convenience me to bu a holiday package by doing lots of false commitment like:

      We have 5000+ hotels in india
      We have hotels in around 30 other countries
      You will not get any issue while booking restaurants at any time including 25 dec to 5 jan if you informed us in advance.
      We have at-least 7-8 options in each cities.
      Each option is a 4-5 start properties
      You will save at-least 50-70% on each stay. Etc...
      But when i come back and search about your companies review i found lots of complaint about your company, peoples are saying that most of the time all good options are showing sold out even if we are trying to book in advance.

      On your website:
      Only 67 hotels at 35 locations are listed under chis-associated category
      Only 50 hotels in 12 countries are listed on chis-internal-exchange page (Excluding domestic hotels)
      Only 117 all hotels are available on both pages
      You are providing only room only package i have to pay extra for breakfast and dinner but when i am booking directly with b/d i am getting better options.
      I paid 1, 40, 000 for 10 weeks holiday so it cost 22, 500 per week (14, 000 + 8500 ams) for room only package but for the listed hotels i can get same 6 night package with b/d around 30-32 k and i have no limitation for listing hotels.
      It was not conveyed that i have to pay annual maintenance from 1st year as well.

      On above complaint i received below reply from country holiday inn (Chis) that "we regret to inform you that the cancellation cannot be processed against the specified reason, the membership is non-refundable as per agreement which is mutually signed as there is no valid justification in the reason being provided."

      According to country holiday inn (Chis), this is marketing strategy to do false commitment to sell the membership and it is not a valid reason to cancel membership.

      As per indian laws, including indian contract act, 1872. This is a void agreement which can’t be enforceable as it is one sided agreement which doesn’t gives me any right to cancel.

      I have requested very next day after buying this membership to cancel this request but still they are not ready to refund my amount.

      As per country holiday inn & suites customer service (Chis) Customer service team today (05-DEC-18) is the date when I was suppose to get my cheque with full amount refund and still I have not received any courier details.

      As per initial discussion with Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager) they was suppose to refund my amount in 21 days then customer care team update that time line to 21 working days then after that time line they ask for 10 more working days and after that they gives me a new timeline for today (05-DEC-18) but still no update from there.

      I am still waiting for courier details and they now they are not responding on my emails too. a

      Will update here if I received my amount credited to my bank account.

      Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager), he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

      Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

        Yesterday i have taken membership in country holidays inn & suits pvt. Ltd. They have given me membership for ten years for domestic as well as international stay at their properties. But it is nowhere printed in the agreement that it is for international holidays also. My membership no. Chisrg775599. I hereby want immediate confirmation that my above membership no. Is both for domestic as well as international holidays. It looks like to me that i have been cheated by chis representative mr. Zaib khan. I have taken membership from their branch at shop no.23, ground floor, tdi mall, rajuri garden, new delhi. I hereby request you to please reply me immediately

        As soon as I will received back my money, I will make this complaint as resolved.

        This has reference to my earlier mail dated 30.10.2018, 31.10.2018, 01.11.2018, 02.11.2018 .5.11.2018, 06.11.2018, 14.11.18, 16.11.2018, 20.11.18, 26.11.18, 30.11.18, 4.12.2018, 6.12.2018, 12.12.18, 02.01.19, 17.01.19, 18.01.19, 29.01.19 & 21.05.2019 for refund of my membership fee as agreed by in your mail dated 30.10.2018, the action of which is still pending
        from your end. I have also provided you my bank details for refund of my money.

        More than a year has passed but till date I have not received back my membership fee from your side.

        Yesterday I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager)'who don't have patience and don't know the manners how to talk with customers then what can I expect with junior support staff, he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

        Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

        Nobody tells me at the time of booking that they are using third party service for hotels booking.

          Chis guys called me again and again and promised me free holiday vouchers. I went there along with my wife and instead of giving free vouchers thay asked me listen to there presentation for 45-50 minutes. Since it was 8:00 pm we wanted to just collect the vouchers and go home, they said since we are providing you vouchers please listen to our pretentation, we are promoting our company thats why we are giving yopu free vouchers. Then the trap was being set and everytime i raised query they called someone else to come and then it all started. They made all the wrong promises said things which were not there terms and conditions agreement. They said to me that our per night cost comes to around 2000 which is again wrong commitment. They said we have propertied around 600 of then that we owe which is again not true. They said that tou have to pay amc (Annual maintainence) rs 7000+ gst.
          Since they don't owe the properties how can they ask for maintainance cost from us.
          They said that the membership amount is refundable and gets the aggrement signed and when we ask to give it to us they don't provide us the same. I took the photo of the same and there it is mentioned that membership is non refundfable under any circumstances. When i received a 'welcome' call from the customer care i told them the promises that were made they told me that is not in our terms and promised to get back to me. But then i got a call from the sales person and he said and can provide you more nad more vouchers, just accept the welcome call. Since then iam calling the customer care and asking them to refund my miney since i havent used there services and theytell me to wait as they will look into the matter, but they never call me intead there sales people call me and force me to accept the membership and us there services. Even some one named mr. Rahul arora called me and told me remove my review from google. Since i haven't used there services and want my money back. On 20th october 2018 @9pm they swiped my card and on 21st very next morning i called them and said that my transation is not yet settled with the bank please void my transacion as i don't want the membership and i raised an dispute with axis bank also still they said they will not return the money and forced me to accept the membership and used the complementary stay.

          Yesterday CHIS customer care team told me to meet the sales executive and then they will consider my complaint and refund the money, I did the same he (Mohd .tauqeer )assured me after talking to his seniors that my payment of RS 140000 be refunded in full and told me to send and email to [email protected], and kept mr. Rohit Gupta .I have also removed my review .but Iam waiting for reply from your end through mail .I called up customer care she told me she has read the mail and she is reverting me back on the mail and she will ask for account details so that CHIS can refund the money .But IAM still waiting and haven't received any email

            I am holding the membership of country holidays inn and suites and my membership id is CHISPH773157 . This Company have cheated to me 3 times. I had lost confidence in your ability to provide services in long term. Now Company always call to submit rest of amount by giving discount to trap.But they dont listen your problems. Queries.             This package of 90000 was tried to sell me on 19 febuary in 80000/- on Full payment to trap .i paid half payment 40000/-
            Sales team always talks about Five Star Five Star Hotel facility to trap us.
            1 ..On Booking of first time 24 feb they offered me very worst hotel not even 3 star category on chis reservation team.
            Sales person again assured me to provide 100 percent best facility.
            2 On Second Booking . they offered hotels. And want AMC Charges (7000+GST ) in advance. But Sales time and as per agreement AMC should be paid after one year . They had not provided me even one night stay in 40000/- . Every time they broke promise and Don’t pick up calls easily .Company need 2 weeks minimum to book hotels. Because they don’t pick calls usually and for requirements / confirmation process of booking..
            3 Almost one month later. Company employee called me by this[protected] . After Long Conservation I requested give me 10 nights in my given amount 40000/- .he wanted more time to talk senior . and in evening he said company is agreed to give me 10 nights in paid amount 40000/- and you will be received confirmation email regarding this in short time.
            After 2 days passed company did not send any mail . even till now after so many mails sent to company.
            In phone talking with this company always null and wastage to time because they always fake promised and laird.
            please connect through email and let us together to go for a legal suit for realizing our hard earned money. And Suggest me what should I do. ?
            My resolution is refund my hard money and if not . provide the better facility and Dont Cheat us.

            Firstly work on fake promises . And better fast services.. not on dues always..
            Mr Rahul Arora ( Sr. Manager ) discussed me two times. But he did not want to resolve my issue about sales team fakes promise .Company always want a money . after payment . they have no time to listen your problem/ query. company has only time for receiving payment.
            I request you company. here is not talking about money issue. when i tried to booking for chandigarh . here is issue of 2 star type of the hotel offered and fake promise of five star five star . second issue AMC should be paid after one year as your company .
            Refund policy is also not clear. (sales team said only 15000 will be deducted )
            but company 's send mail about refund ( 15000 + Amc(7000+gst) +gst on whole Amout )... means money will be back only less than 50%).Also here is one more fake promise. in my case company does not want to refund . i think my amount is little for

            they promised me to utilize 6N/7 days for one year in 40000/- amount and then i tried to booking for chandigarh for one night. they offered me 4 hotels worth room 2000/- .

            After long discussion with Rahul Arora. company has offered me 3nights/ 4 days in 40000/- . with the reason .company bear one night cost[protected] .
            I donot know why company make this type of package if company bear 7 to 8000 per night.
            My resolution is refund my hard money and if not . provide the package in given amount. And Suggest me what should I do. ?
            Here we would like to convey again that we are all ready to provide all services under your CHIS membership and just asking for what should be there as full payment to avail full fledged services and its all obvious to pay in full as genuinely asked for to get the real fruit of your membership.
            CHIS is running big SCAM and we all are victims of their fraud, lets join hands and together we can fight the legal battel against CHIS to bring their promoters to justice and get our hard earned money back

            Here is “Country Holiday Inn and Suits (CHIS)” list of Fake and False Acquisitions:
            1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
            2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
            3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.
            4. Since CHIS own these properties, our members have to pay “Annual maintenance charge (AMC)” which varies from 8260 to 10500. If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
            a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
            b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
            c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
            d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
            e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
            5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
            6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
            7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
            8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
            9. Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.

                I have taken a package of 6d & 7n for 5 years, have paid the 60% of the payment for the same. They have promised me to utilise fst week and then basis on the feedback i can pay rest 40% of the amount. But now they are denying for it and not booking the hotels.in lieu of the same first they have told me due peak season the hotels are not available while the peask season starts for goa from november onwards however i have requested for oct bookings. Post that the give me the list and said they can do 2d & 3n that too in the worst hotel options available. Later on after so many email conversation they told me to pay the rest amount and then they will book the hotel. I have paid for the good services not for the worst. Even after 7-8 emails nobody from the customer care connects with me to discuss upon this. I have requested them to refund my money as i don't want to go for the worst service when i paid for the best. I have requested them many times to pay me my money, they are not even replying for it. My membership id is chisdl772687. Also this is not the case with me. I have spoken to other members also, they are facing the same issues.

                1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
                2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
                3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.
                4. Since CHIS own these properties, our members have to pay “Annual maintenance charge (AMC)” which varies from 8260 to 10500. If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
                a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
                b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
                c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
                d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
                e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
                5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
                6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
                7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
                8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
                9. Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.

                Yesterday I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager)'who don't have patience and don't know the manners how to talk with customers then what can I expect with junior support staff, he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

                Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

                Nobody tells me at the time of booking that they are using third party service for hotels booking.

                  As we discussed at last meeting if i will not satisfy with jaipur trip then you will proceed with membership cancellation and refund the amount.

                  I am not satisfied with your service and i have mentioned problem which i faced during that stay.
                  But now your team again and again asking for photos (Screen shots attached for reference) for that issue which i faced during stay so my points are below:

                  1. How can i take picutre of pick and drop facility?

                  2. How can take picutre of anoying voice of construction which was going on my upper floor and i already raised concern 2 time to reception but i faced this problem 2 days.

                  3.ac was not working properly so compalint 2 times but not resolved so should i take picute of ac???.

                  Your point of action is that to provide customer service instead of arguing with them and you should verify with hotel directly instead of bothering to customer.

                  Do you job and and this should be verifed to hotel by you or your team.

                  As i am not statisfied with your service and also with your customer service if i need to do for everything then which kind of role you are doing in it.

                  Do not argue againa and proceed with canecalltion and refund money.

                    I have paid 77000 to the company. I fell into their trap. I am middle class person & i have many responsibilities and burben to bear. My earnings are also not as much as compared to this amount. I got a call from chis holidays. I am newly married so i fell into their trap of cheapest holidays and pays the amount from credit card. Now how i will pay the credit card bill. I have so much loan in addition to this. I have purchased this plan on 7 jan 2018. Today is 9 oct 2018. I want my money back. Please don't take my hard earned money

                    I paid 70000/- as initial amount and after that I paid 7000 as AMC on my first booking which is not mentioned earlier. On my first booking I asked them to book my complimentary stay in Mussoorie as per our last conversation but they refused n said that this place is not covered in their complimentary places. So I have to pay 7000/- as AMC first than I can book any hotel. I again fall in their trap. Now when I again want to book my complimentary stay in Jim Corbett and this time I want to book 3 rooms on my ID they again refused to do so. They mailed me that I can book only one room as per our terms. I remembered at the time of registration they even didn't give time to read me the agreement properly . That time they said that I can book any no of rooms at a same time on my ID. But now I realise that their commitments were totally falls. They gave me 2 holiday packages for 3days n 2 night as complimentary with one year validity. now I want to use this service but they refused to do so. I request you to please refund my money as I said earlier that I am a middle class person and I can't afford your falls commitments and such higher amount of stay in hotel as compared to other sites. Please refund my money .

They trapped me on october 21st and now they are not returning my money back . Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are not ready to refund my hard earned money.                       I have visited their garden galeria office today along with my wife. But manager of that office suraj chaudhary don't even know how to talk to a lady. He is a very unprofessional guy. First of all he will force you to buy a 10 years plan and when you will show resistance he will ask you to come outside and will start shouting.
                      After that when i discussed with my friends they told that this is a fraud group specially because of the false promises made by this guy in noida and it's vicinity. I was saved b god.

                      But i will make sure that all my other tata group colleagues and friends should not be caught in this trap.

                        My worst experience with a country holiday inn & suites (Chis), don’t confuse it with brand (Country inn & suites)

                        I have recently become the victim of chis fraudulent tactics forcing me to take their membership, i got into their trap to pay full amount via credit card.

                        The sweetness and gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions saying that you can read it later (Taking advantage of the situation that it was 10 pm and our baby was crying)

                        They had made many false promises as below:

                        1. During selling of membership, there executive told that the 'annual maintenance charges (Amc) are to be paid once before complete 7 days of trips when checked there agreement, it's mentioned that amc charges are to paid at the time of making booking and no gst applied on it but when confronted on this point to customers care they refused.

                        2. Regarding refund policy, the executive told that after taking 1 trip we can go for cancellation of the membership by paying only 'administration charges' (15000 flat and no other charges). However they don't mention any such point in agreement. On high request they agreed to send mail mentioning refund policy. On checking the mail i found that, there are other charges also like asf/amc and gst to be deducted extra. (Again a false communication while selling membership).

                        3. They claimed to have been the affiliate partners of famous brand 'country inn and suites' but when confronted, there executive reluctantly denied this affiliation and told that they have no relation with this group and they are totally separate chain.

                        4. They claim to have 147 owned properties at different location globally but that's again a false claim from their side.

                        On asking for refund they are forcing me to take a mandatory trip and then ask for refund which is no where mentioned in their agreement. Keeping all their false promises i don't want to get their membership.

                        I am utterly dissatisfied with their false promises and their fraudulent activities and i can't be assured how there services will be in future. I want my refund which i have already paid for there membership/ownership.
                        Yesterday, when i lodge a complaint against them, their manager mr rahul arora told me mark the complaint as resolve by saying he would solve my problem within one day, but in seek of solving problem mutually, he again make me fool by saying they can't terminate my membership. Although there sales representative told us that you can cancel your membership if you don't like anything about our services.

                        As per our discussion we have advised and requested to take our services as all ready to provide under your CHIS membership with us..but this is something you are not availing the services at your end.

                            I am holding the membership of country holidays inn and suites and my membership id is chisld772511, basically they take customer's money in advance and promise to provide hotel room whenever needed in certain places of the world. I paid a huge amount to this company. This company promise us to provide 5* star properties but always provide us 4* properties. They told us to give near by hotels to the main market but their hotels are too far, even their 4* star hotels are very less rated, they told us to provide upper category rooms but always give us basic rooms. They even take 3-4 weeks to provide hotels room, we have to make so much calls to them for single booking and sometimes they don't even pick our calls.

                            Here we would like to reiterate that we are all ready to provide best services and amenities to you under your CHIS membership as has also taken and utilized our best services in 4-5 star category properties and this is something you have some conditional requests which you want us to fullfill other you would put these type of false complaints on this portal.

                              Hi,

                              We have taken CHIS membership last year in Jul'17. We have not availed any services till now. The cost of membership was Rs. 78, 000 for five years. The benefit under this was - 6 nights, 7 days free stay per year (total 30 nights in 5 years) in 5 star or a 4 star property. Also, apart from above, below mentioned stays were to be provided complimentary in addition to the basic stays :
                              1. 1 night stay at ITC Fortune, orange Park, Gurugram
                              2. 2 nights, 3 days stay at some resort in Jim Corbett.
                              We have not availed any of the basic or any complementary stays till date.

                              We made on spot down payment of Rs. 30, 000 and promised to pay the remaining amount after completion of EMI of Rs 34, 176(2848*12).

                              First, Their Hotels are not available at most of the places and available hotels are not worth of membership amount paid by us.

                              Now, we contacted the concerned person to avail our complimentary stay at ITC Maurya and 1 night stay in Chandigarh.
                              Now, after an year, the person came up with another additional charge of Rs. 6000 plus GST per year to be paid. This was not disclosed or even discussed at the time of giving the membership an year back.

                              According to the above additional disclosure of charges, our per day cost of stay would be Rs. 3767 (78, 000 + 35000 - approx additional charged disclosed now as AMC = 1, 13, 000 / 30 nights).

                              We have compared rates and prices of hotels online across areas and compared, all the hotels prices are less than or equal to Rs.2, 500 per night, no matter we book from whichever external site.

                              After taking into consideration all the relevant facts and most importantly about the undisclosed additional charged disclosed now when we decided to avail the service for the very first time already an year later when we became member.
                              I have even drop them an email on 11th Sep 2018, but they don't even to bother reply on my emails.

                              This breach of trust is highly unprofessional on company's part. We do not want to be a part of CHIS anymore and would request you to refund our already paid amount (Rs. 30, 000) at the earliest.

                              I got a call from CHIS, the person asked me to mark this complaint as resolved.
                              Apart from this, after charging me Rs. 30, 000 advance money, which I somehow manged to give through EMI from my credit card (overall payment of 34, 254 approx, including interest) he said we will not book you room unless you give AMC(annual maintenance charge) which might be mentioned on the documents I have signed. After 1 year I came to know about this AMC is charged separately from my Membership fee.
                              He reminded me again and again that you have signed the documents.
                              I have filled a form in some mall where they said they will give free movie tickets and holiday voucher. Next day I got a call to collect those tickets along with my wife (If you single then you lucky, they don't hunt singles). At around 8:00 PM I reached in hotel where there are lots of couples to whom different people are making fool. After that, a guy came and welcomed us and start showing me and my wife dreams of luxury holidays and places around the word. After an hour he told us about the membership and charges for the same for 10 years which I straight away denied, he somehow managed to convince my wife for 5 years membership by making false promises, that they will provide this and that. They simply said you have to reply them on spot, I don't even have couple of hours to think about it, so, I signed those documents as he said this is formality and have to complete it. And now after one year when I approached them to book a room he is not booking a single night stay without further payment.
                              And above this my relationship manger is continuously saving that sir please wait I will get the confirmation for your booking.
                              I have applied for a booking of 27th Sep'18 and at this time 3:35 the person is saying that you will get the confirmation by 4 PM. Now you can image what kind of hospitality they are giving.

                              Till date we have not received any resolution. I request you to please don't get into this trap. you can easily get better properties in lesser price rather you can utilize your funds for some better work or invest somewhere, at least you will get some returns but here only your money get blocked and you will stuck doing nothing like I got into this trap and wasted my hard earned money here.
                              Today I received a call from Mr Rahul Arora (Sr Customer Relationship Manager), he was saying that we have more then 5000 hotels but only those(only 67 in India) hotels are listed on web site which have signed a contract with us and for rest of the hotels we will use third party service. And we can't provide you the list of 5000+ hotels because they regularly keep changes.

                              Secondly he was accepting that Club mahindra has customer in lakhs that's why they have large number of complaints and we just have 3000+ customer only all over India so we have less no of complaints.

                                Complete misrepresentation & malafide intention of sales & marketing team of country holidays inn & suites pvt ltd (Chis), they lure customer in name of freebies of movie tickets & free hotel stay, on meeting they hypnotize by sweet talks and showing rosy picture of free stays in their owned hotels on becoming their members whereas they don’t have any property of their own. They have kept a misleading name using two popular hospitality brands country inns & suites and holiday inn. If customer resists they push you stating, this is exceptional offer and valid for day of meeting only. They push customer to sign agreement stating normal 2 page document, which contains terms and conditions completely different than what they informed verbally during meeting and thus entrap innocent customers. They do not have any own property, paid up capital is only rs. 3 lacs as per records on internet. Company is very new and formed recently in dec 2016.

                                They sold us 10 years membership for rs. 1.39 lacs. During discussion they say cancellation is possible within 2 weeks or within 7 days of first trip. I requested for cancellation from the very next day of payment after knowing the truth about chis, made phone calls and three communications but no revert for refund of rs 1.39 lacs.

                                Chis have no relation with country inn or holiday inn hotels. On checking both country inn and holiday inn, they have denied having relationship with chis.

                                Country holidays inn & suites private limited (Chis) is a fraud company, please do not get trapped and if you are also victim of chis, please connect through email and let us together to go for a legal suit for realizing our hard earned money.

                                With reference to discussion we had, I informed you that after checking your details on website viz., your insignificant paid up share capital as per ROC website and the fact that you have no properties of your own, I had lost confidence in your ability to provide services in long term. Accordingly, to build my confidence I made 3 requests-

                                1. I asked you to share your long term contracts with hotels and resorts to build my confidence that you will be able to provide long term services for next 10 years. You did not answer and kept beating around the bush which categorically proves your inability to provide services in long term.

                                2. On my request to provide conditional and yearly depreciating Bank Guarantee, you did not agree. I even offered to bear Bank Guarantee charges but you were not ready to provide the same.

                                3. You also did not agree to waiver of Annual Subscription Fees (ASF) and refund of 10% of initial membership fee in case you fail to provide desired hotel bookings in a year (in case of non-availability of rooms in 3 requests in desired hotels).

                                As you did not agree to my above conditions, I was left with no other option but to seek refund. As far as your comment that no such thing can be given as it was not mutually agreed, please note that you lured me to enter this agreement by making false and misleading representation of owning properties and tie ups with Country Inn and Holiday Inn.

                                I once again request you to either comply with above 3 conditions or refund my hard earned money failing which I will be left with no other option but to report this matter to Serious Fraud Investigation Office, Economic Offences Wing, and File an FIR for cheating under section 420 of the Indian Penal Code besides filing case in Consumer Court.

                                  I have a holiday voucher of country holidays inn & suites. When i got this voucher they promise me to provide booking any location in india. But i want to make booking at my desired location they told me that they can only book from their 7 locations. What is this? I am totally disappointed. I want to convey this message to all people please dont go to their promotional event you definitely dont get any benefits from them and you are going to loose your precious time & money.

                                  CHIS is running big SCAM of looting innocent citizens and we all are victims of their fraud. I'm call all victims of CHIS to come together and join hands, we will pursue legal case to bring them to justice and get our hard earned money back.

                                  Here is “Country Holiday Inn and Suits (CHIS)” list of Fake and False Acquisitions:
                                  1. CHIS own 6500+ properties worldwide. But the ground reality is CHIS don’t own a single property. All they do is book Standard Rooms though online travel sites.
                                  2. CHIS provide 5 star accommodation at very low price. But the reality is CHIS provide standard room in 2 stay hotels. To lure innocent citizens and get positive reviews for their website/mobile App on Playstore and Appstore, they initially arrange free 1 night stay in 5 star hotels like Roseate House, Aerocity, New Delhi or Hyatt Regency, Delhi.
                                  3. During initial casual talk (which they call as presentation), they smartly give references of “Country Inn and Suits” hotels (the famous brand of Radisson group) and if you catch them, they immediately say no they meant to say “Country Holiday Inn and suites (CHIS)”. Smart tactic to create fascinating impression on general public but in reality its all fake. Their representatives even doesn’t know about famous hotel chains, classification of rooms and/or rewards programs. Their goal is to show something fascinating but when I caught them red handed, the executive said she will ask her senior to clarify but it didn’t happen and the smartly deviated the conversation to other topic.
                                  4. Since CHIS own these properties, our members have to pay “Annual maintenance charge (AMC)” which varies from 8260 to 10500. If you don’t use holiday in a calendar year, you need not to pay AMC. But their terms and conditions say completely opposite to this – its talks about “Annual Subscription Fee (ASF)” and they can change it anytime without any notice and if you fail to pay your membership stands void unless you clear the dues. Now here is the catch:
                                  a. Firstly their words of mouth didn’t match their terms and conditions, refer to attached images and Terms & conditions.
                                  b. Secondly, they never let you read the terms and conditions and make you sign it on dotted line by taking advantage of the situation, as I already mentioned in my consumer forum complaint.
                                  c. CHIS doesn’t own any property hence AMC/ASF is not applicable which they said is towards the maintenance of properties.
                                  d. They say plan your vacation well (min 30 to 60 days) in advance, when you do it yourself, Standard rooms in 2 or 3 star hotels are easily available at nominal cost of INR1700 to 2200 (room rate), for 5 to 6 night the cost will cost somewhere between 8500 to 13200 and that is exactly what they are charging you under the name of AMC or ASF. Smart way to fool honest citizens.
                                  e. If the standard room is not available at your vacation/holiday destination, they will simply deny booking and you can’t do anything.
                                  5. Now referring to Clause 17 of the impugned contract where CHIS themselves acknowledges, whatever has been told/communicated by their employees or representatives either verbal, written or through email is all fake/false and is superseded by CHIS terms & conditions which their employees never let you read and CHIS can changes anything anytime at its own discretion. This clearly implies, Country Holiday Inn and suits (CHIS) doesn’t has any standards of business conduct and has no core business values nor even of his own employees. This simply proves prompters of CHIS are running big SCAM, exploiting Indian Laws and looting Public. They must be brought under the scrutiny of law enforcement agencies. Such an organization can declare bankruptcy overnight and promoters can flee. CHIS website even didn’t disclose who are its promoters.
                                  6. There has been no mention of any cooling off period is their impugned contract. Its only mentioned on their website under refund policy https://www.countryholidaysinnsuites.com/refund-policy
                                  7. So far employees (doesn’t hold any value as per Clause 17 of their terms & conditions) of CHIS has been refusing to return/refund money on basis on this Impugned contract (which has not been signed by any authorized signatory of CHIS), referring to the consumer forum Ludhiana (Case No.553, Dt.05.07.2012) the Hon’ble Judge specifically addressed this issue of ‘non-refundability’ – “Further the plea taken by the OPs (Country Vacations) that as per the terms and conditions of the impugned contract, the membership fee once paid is non-refundable is also not sustainable, as the impugned contract is one sided standard form of contract (where the parties are not equal in the bargaining power) which the OPs got prepared according to serve their interest and the complainants were supposed to sign only on the dotted line. For such a view we are guided by the judgement by the Hon’ble Supreme Court reported in AIR1986 (SC) 1571.”
                                  8. Since the day one I never agreed to their membership offer and has been requesting them to return/refund the money which they stole under than name of checking special offers on my credit card. CHIS has no right to refuse refund of Money which their employees stole using illicit, unlawful and illegal way as already narrated well in my complaint on consumer forum (copy attached).
                                  9. Whenever I approached CHIS, all you get is threatening where they state – “Do whatever you want to do we have our contacts in Delhi Policy, Lawyers and Income Tax department” during my last meeting with them, even their relationship manager “Rahul Arora” repeated the same wording. He even said – we are not afraid of anything not even India laws.

                                    I have paid 75000 to the company. I fell into their trap. I am a very poor guy. I have many responsibilities and burben to bear. My payment is also very small as compared to this amount. I got a call from chis holidays. I am newly married so i fell into their trap of cheapest holidays and pays the amount from credit card. Now how i will pay the credit card bill. I have so much loan in addition to this. I have purchased this plan on 5 sep 2018. Today is 6 sep 2018. I want my money back.                                     Yes you are right brother Country holidays inn & suites (chis) is a big fraud company they did same with me. They trapped me on october 21st and now they are not returning my money back . Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are not ready to refund my hard earned money. Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) trapped me on 21-Oct-2018 by doing a lots of false commitment and now Country holidays inn & suites (CHIS) are saying that this is marketing strategy to trape innocent peoples.

                                      We took the membership plan on 8th of march 2018 with membership id-
                                      Chisdl773232. Its with utmost dissatisfaction and frustration i amwriting this. At the first place we were not at all interested in buying the plan but mr. Amit pandita which was sales manager at chis gurgaon forced us into buying this by saying first buy this trial package of 40 thousand in which we were promised 4 trips plus 1 stay at itc maurya, manesar with bf but now since july when we are trying to avail our first trip, a whole lot of t&c are put before us on both voucher and membership nights which at the time of selling were nevermentioned. At the timing of selling they assured us that we don't have to pay a single penny and about amc / asf said it is included in the membership fee and the amount has already been deducted hence we need not pay any amount for the year but now they are demanding it. First we planned to visit nainital and so thought to utilise our voucher when enquired reservation deptt replied they don't provide hotel against voucher in nainital while mr. Pandita at the time of selling the plan said nainital is in
                                      The list and we do provide against voucher also, for the voucher utilisation they are asking for exorbitant utility charges i. E rs. 2360 which at the time of selling when enquired by us how much it would be they simply said rs.300-400 hardly. Is this logical? Why there is such duplicacy in promising and delivering. The biggest worry is when tried to contact him to clear things, we got to know that mr. Amit has resigned from chis. Now whom should we contact? We were very conveniently fooled into buying this plan. We were given an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. But were not let to read
                                      Saying that you can read it later. I wonder how things will take shape once we avail the service. Therefore i want to cancel my membership right away without availing a single trip because of fake
                                      Promises and lies. Please let us know how to go further on this

                                      After this complaint.I got a call from CHIS and when i got ready to talk they just playing around the bush and once we decided to go Shimla for our first trip with CHIS they Saying that now we will get access to only one property in Shimla out of many properties of CHIS.Why such a discrepancy.
                                      This is a forced choice on us to anyhow avail the trip. We don't have any choice to select .I just wander how the hotel would be and far from there promises of quality service and 4/5 star property.What would be the actual service to be provided?This is a big question.And every time they say ''Your call is recorded".It means it is a planned game which they play with every other innocent person .And they are just using our hard earned money.

                                        After lot of follow ups and conversations with chis team (Mr ujjwal roy, mr rahul and sales representatives), they agreed for refund of only rs 55000/- as against the total payment rs 70, 000. When i asked why they are deducting rs 15000, they said they will have to deduct some charges and will not be issuing full refund to me.

                                        I talked to past chis members who had recently cancelled the membership and was issued full amount. After that i called up mr ujjwal roy again and confronted, why the amount has been deducted in my case and not other member case. He denied any such refund initially and asked me to share the chis 'membership id' for that member.

                                        I struggled for sometime and told mr ujjwal roy that i am not able to get the membership number. He said there is no such case and he can't do anything about it. Finally after lot of struggle i managed to get the membership id for one member and shared it with mr ujjwal roy. He said he will check in their records and get back to me after sometime.

                                        After around 2 hours we again called him to check the status and he straight forward lied that there was some 'credit card issue' in case of that member and that is why they issued full refund. When i cross checked with that member he said chis team is lying and there was no credit card issue in his case. He didn't like the services and that is why he filed a complaint for full refund.

                                        When i confronted mr ujjwal roy that you are not telling the truth, he totally ignored it and said he don't want to discuss what happened in that member case. He then said that either i take this amount (Rs 55, 000) as full and final settlement or else he will take the matter to his legal team; where i might lose even this amount (Rs. 55000/-).

                                        He also told us that after taking amount of rs.55000 as full and final settlement, if i try to put any further grievance for my remaining amount of rs.15000 they can file a defamation case against me as they have done the same with some of their members in past.

                                        This is totally not acceptable from chis, that they are deducting rs 15000 when i haven't availed any of their services and cancelling this membership because of their false promises and lies that too within the span of just 24 hours.

                                        Moreover when i had paid rs 70000 to chis initially, their sales representative told that they can't start the membership with this amount as it had been paid via a credit card and we need to pay remaining amount of rs 72000 more from our debit card on the same day in order for them to start the membership.

                                        And the next day when i visited their branch and asked for the refund since i didn't pay the amount of rs 72, 000 the previous day, they said they can't cancel the membership now and the sales representative even accepted that it was miscommunication from their side, but they can't refund now as they had started my membership.

                                        My worst experience with a country holiday inn & suites (Chis), don’t confuse it with brand (Country inn & suites).

                                        I have recently become the victim of chis fraudulent tactics forcing me to take their membership but i somehow managed to save nearly half the amount but got into their trap to pay half the amount via credit card.

                                        The sweetness and gesture the sales team will show while selling their membership, you will be bound to fall into their trap and once your card is swipe, they will give you an agreement to sign stating that this is the written commitment of what we discussed showing the amount paid. They will not let you read the other conditions saying that you can read it
                                        Later (Taking advantage of the situation that we were in a hurry to leave to attend some function)

                                        They had made many false promises as below:

                                        1. During selling of membership, their executive told that the 'annual maintenance charges (Amc) are to be paid once you

                                        Complete 7 days of trips, but when checked there agreement, it's mentioned that amc charges are to paid at the time of making booking and when confronted on this point they even lied and said they didn't say any such thing.

                                        2. Regarding refund policy, the executive told that after taking 1 trip we can go for cancellation of the membership by paying only 'administration charges' (15000 flat and no other charges). However they don't mention any such point in agreement. On high request they agreed to send mail mentioning refund policy. On checking the mail i found that, there are
                                        Other charges also like asf/amc and gst to be deducted extra. (Again a false communication while selling membership).

                                        3. They claimed to have been the affiliate partners of famous brand 'country inn and suites' but when confronted, there executive reluctantly denied this affiliation and told that they have no relation with this group and they are totally separate chain.

                                        4. They claim to have 147 owned properties at different location globally but that's again a false claim from their side.

                                        On asking for refund they are forcing to first pay the full amount, then take a mandatory trip and then ask for refund which is no where mentioned in their agreement. Keeping all their false promises i can't be assured that they will refund my money even if i make a full payment to them at this stage.

                                        I am utterly dissatisfied with their false promises and their fraudulent activities and i can't be assured how there services will be in future. I want my refund which i have already paid for their membership/ownership.
