I have purchased new air conditioner on 21 st Feb 2021 from Nagpur authorized dealer. It stops functioning on 22nd March 2022. I have submitted online complaint on 26 th March. A person from the company inspected it and diagnosed it with the failure of Out door PCB . Since it is 30 days more than a year he demanded Rs, 8000 for its replacement. I have not seen PCB failure of any co. in such a short interval of time. It was a faulty piece. Co. should replace it free of cost.

    I have purchased AC by 21st March 2022 and installing date is 26th March 2022. After 1 day of installation AC does not working properly. Maybe any issue occurred by AC installation or else.

        I agree with the other consumer complaints regarding Daikin inverter AC. I HAVE CHANGED THE PCB twice original from Daikin spare parts again the PCB is not working.
        The company should give some permanent solution to this common problem.The PCB itself costs Rs.7000.
        Have a PCB repair option at a cheaper cost for the sake of their customers as it is their technical defect.As they dont want to recall the Ac's like cars.
        Other brands priced much lower are running so well even after 15 years.
        Was hoping Daikin would work even better.

          Worst Service experience

          I have raised a service request and the engineer from M S Air Con has visited and informed that PCB needs to be replaced. It's been 2 weeks now, and always been quoted that it's out of stock and not sure by when they would be getting it. It's peak summer and I have an infant. Need some immediate assistance. Customer service is useless as they are just redirecting the request to dealer. It's just moving in circlee....

              I had made a service request in daikin india for my first ac service which company claim that it is free of cost but at the time of servicing the man who came for servicing only done dry service i.e he only clean the ac by cloth only and clean the filter under tap water they don't have any machine or water gun for servicing they said company offer only dry service if you want to clean your ac properly then they will charge 900+18% gst . my unit is still full of dust and a very bad smell came from indoor unit . i have also talk to customer care but they also denied for resolution.

                His is to bring to your kind attention attention the extremely unprofessional and pathetic response by Daikin service team against my service request no 25886032, raised on 22nd of March 2022 for Customer Ref Id DEL[protected].Cx.
                The product (1.5 tons window AC) was purchased on 11th April 2021 and is still under warranty but suddenly stopped cooling this season. Thats why I lodged a complaint with customer care number on 22nd of March 2022. I was augured that an engineer will visit the sit within 2 working days and resolve the issue. Since the product is under warranty there will be no issues in case of exchange or repair of any part of the AC as well.

                But despite regular callas and follow ups the team kept delaying the visit and would assure the engineer will come today and then tomorrow and then today and so on so forth that disrupted my office schedule as I would often wait for their visit at home and not go to office. Finally the engineer showed up on 26th of March and told that the gas is leaking and he can't do anything. According to him any product within warranty is dealt by the specialist team and hence a separate team will visit later and mend the issue, which was quite frustrating.

                Then again the circle of follow ups and calls and requests began as there was no response from service team for the visit by repair team. Somehow I caught hold of the concerned person who was supposed to visit from the call centre and he shows up on 27th of March 2022. Disappointment didn’t end as he told me that the engineer didn’t diagnose the issue properly and the main problem is of gas leakage because of some damage to the coil in the AC and it would need to be welded as well. The moment he came to know the product is in warranty, he declined to repair and insisted on replacement of the coil instead. I spoke to his boss and others in the team and requested to please repair if that’s a solution as heat is becoming unbearable and replacement will be altogether another round of follow up and waiting. But unfortunately the team left with no solution and told that the spare part will be made available my Monday i.e. 28th of March and the AC will be repaired on Tuesday.

                It was only yesterday I called up again and got to know that the spare part is not yet received and will take few more day to be sourced and hence no certain time can be confirmed.
                So, here I am. writing this long email with a heavy heart and utter disappointment as the my family and I are frustrated by Daikin’s service response in this time of the year.

                With sincere hope I request you to please look into this matter and expedite the process or take necessary action at the earliest.

                    I installed daikin splits with daikin gurgoan authorised service center mahadev aircondition after installation they gave me bill with pre told installation charge of 800rs which includes (all sorts of labour charge for installing)
                    2-Now comes the part where mahadev looted us i gave them my own copper wire n splits stand for which they charge me extra labour 250 for stand and 150 for wire ..what the heck man what comes in instalation if you have to charge labour extra ..
                    3- mahadev owner talked so badly, rudely and instruct labour that D-install ac if i do not give their looted charge of 400rs..at end i gave them 400rs which totally unfair 4-i will never suggest daikin .. n i do hope they will listen to my complaint do return 400 rs from their thug dealer..

                        Daikin AC worked only 3months after i bought and it stopped working after that and till now daikin service centre repaired it so many times and kept with them for almost 6 months in a year but still issue is not resolved, i pretty doubt that service center people are not educated properly because when they are not able to fix the issue permanently then why there is a service centre, it's been near to 3years but no solution, I'm surprised that service center people ask me to operate AC in winter and rainy season, Daikin CEO sir think why i bought an AC with so much of cost because of the trust but I lost total trust and unnecessarily i wasted 60k for purchase and 14k for fixing the issue, I am fed up and frustrated with your AC, if you people are capable then fix the issue permanently orelse Don't, i have complaining about your AC many times but at the end result is it will not work, there is no response from customer care and zero service, if daikin is 100% true to their customers and if daikin value to their customers then prove it by fixing or by giving a new AC, I am frustrated sooooo much with this AC, call me on [protected]

                            Inspire of raising numerous requests and calls to call a technician from Daikin, no one has ever turned up to acknowledge or repair the split AC... From which water is constantly dripping. Complain was assigned to unique Cool point Noida where the people are highly unprofessional. They just don't respect the time of customer. Every day they assures to send the technician but never sends anyone... Highly Disappointed from Daikin won't ever again buy Daikin... # mobile [protected]

                              I want to draw your kind attention that I booked IInd Free service on 13.03.2022.The technicians visited on 14th March 2022.While initiating service of the aforesaid AC in the morning hour`s team complained that there is no gas in the unit .In the evening another technician visited & replaced the front coil panel & filled the gas. Despite doing the needful the unit failed to function. They reported that the unit is chocked & left from the site.

                              Today again team visited to fix the same issue but unable to do so. In addition one screw out of three is rusted & another one broken which was holding compressor. They tried to fix the screw with hammer but unable to set right.

                              I want to get this faulty or refurbished unit replaced with New unit asap since the previous faulty unit did not even cover the guarantee period, affected mental trauma to the consumer & affected repute of Daikin Company. I am also having 7 units of different brands but never come across such grievance. However I request Daikin to replace this unit asap since Summer season sets in.

                              22/4 Dated 01/04/2021 from M/S Jagdish Electronics World Delhi .Code:07 in exchange of Old AC

                              Note : Technician has left the opened/faulty unit at the premises with no unforeseen action on it. Now we are stuck with broken unit at my home which is still covered under warranty from Daikin.

                                I purchased 2 Daikin AC's in Aug'2020. I also purchased a comprehensive AMC from them post completion of 2 free services in the first year. I experienced some cooling issues in one of the AC units for a few days so I raised a complaint with Daikin Customer Care. The technician visited my residence on 02/23/2022 and he informed me the coil had multiple leakages. This came to me as surprise/shock, how can a 18 month old AC have a coil leakage, especially when its a product like Daikin. He then informed me that coil is not a part of AMC and I would have to pay Rs.7, 000 if I had to replace the coil.

                                I immediately contacted the Mumbai office and spoke to Akash Salve (Regional Manager) about this and he advised me this should not happen. He mentioned he will speak to the Authorized dealer who visited my residence and look at the report. I followed up the next day on 24/2/22 and he advised me the coil is not in warranty but he will repair the coil. When I asked for the guarantee on the repair he said there would be no guarantee, plus he sounded as if he was doing a favor on me by repairing the coil. I requested him to do the replacement as such poor quality of product is not expected from Daikin. He hasn't responded to the replacement request yet which is the reason why I am reporting this grievance.

                                I've attached the job sheet for this complaint along with the original purchase bill.

                                    I have made the full payment to your dealer ‘ACS Systems Incorporated LLP’ in Kolkata on 14th August 2021 and i was promised delivery and installation within 6-8 weeks. Almost 4 months have elapsed and i am yet to even receive the units.

                                    The representatives of your dealer have stopped taking my calls and no one is able to provide delivery.

                                    When i spoke to your regional manager Mr. Sharique Khan, he promised delivery of the materials within 28th December 2021. However, no material has been received and Mr. Khan has also stopped picking my calls or responding to my emails.

                                    This is daylight robbery by Daikin and its dealers.

                                    I need immediate intervention from somebody from Daikin

                                      Dear Diakin Management Team,

                                      I A. Appa Rao have purchased Daikin AC at Sonovision which is of model name Indoor FTKL50TV16V on[protected] in Vizianagaram, Andhra Pradesh. I received trouble from the AC in October 2021, as soon as we faced the problem we contacted for local Diakin Customer Care support on[protected]. The agent ( technician) visited our home on[protected] and detected a problem and informed there is a fault in PCB Board and charged for his service with 500/- . On the next day i.e..,[protected] we visited Diakin Customer Care office and purchased the PCB board for 4960/- but they told us the part is out of stock and it has to come from the head office. We have been waiting for 3 months but the part never arrived. Upon contacting the company by all means we have been provided there is still no response from the Customer care or the service members or the company. We request you to please look into this issue and solve it as soon as possible. It is very frustrating as a consumer to contact the company for service multiple times that too which we already paid for and yet receive no response. I am attaching all the bills / receipts from the company for proof.
