I had applied for personal loan at hdfc bank for balance transfer of my personal loan with bajaj finance and hdb financial services. But i received dd of less amount for closure of hdb loan. Hence loan did not close and hdfc has started deducting heavy emis now i am being asked to pay emi for hdfc as well as hdb.
I have returned dd back to hdfc bank and was assured to get emi reduced but they haven't reduced emi.
Chronology:
I had received a call from your personal loan department ms. Isha (Contact # [protected]) who informed me that she can get a balance transfer of all my loans including other bank loans in to one from hdfc to which i got ready as i wanted to go with hdfc only.
After completing all the formalities, my loan got disbursed in the mid of august 2019.
I received 2 dds from hdfc bank.
one for bajaj finance loan closure amounting rs.2, 10, 739/-
another for hdb financial services loan closure amounting rs.2, 86, 692/-
Apart from above mentioned dds, i received an additional amount of rs.170, 206.00/- in my account and ms. Isha had confirmed addition amount received as i requested for my personal needs.
I did not verify both the dds as i have always trusted hdfc.
My loan from bajaj finance got properly closed with the dd provided.
It took me time to go to hdb financial for loan closure due to some personal reasons.
I visited hdb financial at dosti pinnacle building, manpada, thane branch for loan closure but to my surprise they informed me that the dd is prepared with very less amount.
as per hdb finance officer, the dd with is provided to me is of lesser amount around rs.1, 50, 000/-. Though i had provided repayment schedule of hdb loan.
I called up ms. Isha from there itself to confirm where she found there is a mistake.
I followed up with ms. Isha for next two days where i found her helpless as her senior was not responding properly.
On 12th september i called ms. Isha where she was trying to handover phone to his senior mr. Raj but he was not ready to talk. Later he came on phone and said they can't do anything and i will have to get in touch with hdfc bank also he said do not disclose our names to bank to which i replied i would escalate this matter to the senior management of hdfc where he replied do whatever you want to do i don't care.
I got completely disappointed with such kind of response from such a senior member.
I would request you to take a strict action and provide a solution which helps me to close hdb financial's loan.
I am completely blocked now with heavy emis and cannot afford to increase my emi anymore.
