HDFC Bank Credit Cards Deparment

I had been assigned a credit card in 2014 which I had promptly closed in a couple of months there itself.

No transaction was ever made on the life time free card and never was anything outstanding against it.

However. When I checked my cibil report this month I found that the account is showing as active in my report and is shown reported by your bank in Feb 2017 almost 2-3 years after it was confirmed as closed to me.

As you are well aware, this may be needlessly effecting my credit score.

I spent entire day trying to call your credit card department through your toll free numbers and held transfer line for almost 30 minutes trying to reach your credit card department but to no avail but bitterness towards your bank.

I request you to please close this account immediately and withdraw it from the credit reporting forthwith.

Please stop harassing people like this.

I know that the credit card is inactive and I too had destroyed the card 3 years back. I want to close the account as showing in my report and also wish to know the reason for reporting it after a period of almost 3 years for no good reason.

It is because of these crooked practices of the industry including from flagship banks like yours that we hate to deal with you all.

    I am facing challenges with my credit card or hdfc for which i seemed help from the customer care. Both the time a guy named soni (attended the call at 7:30am) and bharti (attended the call at 16:40) were rude. They denied giving me required information and said I cannot get a supervisor or customer complaint email address and hung up on me. I have this card for 15 years and this is the worst experience i have with the bank.

          Dear Team,

          I am NEERAJ CHOUHAN, I had applied for the credit card of your bank. The number of the credit card is XXXX XXXX XXXX 1148, I had submitted my docs on 18th of May, 2018 but
          my card was not delivered at my permanent address
          by courier agency blue dart.It has been dispatched on 19/05/2018 as I had received the message from HDFC bank on 19/05/2018 that your credit card has been dispatched through blue dart courier. When I contacted BLUE DART, they didn't respond properly & told me to change my address at my respective bank branch. But even after updating my address they didn't deliver it and I also visited the BLUE DART office 3 times personally for collecting my card with all my required documents supporting my address proof but they just ignored my request asked me to contact my branch and personnel my branch are not giving any concern to my problem.

          Any recently the credit card amount Rs.200/- (Two hundred only ) was debited for the wallet amount without any intimation.
          Sir, I am in a great distress and this seriously hampering my work.
          Please resolve my issue as soon as possible as 55 days has passed since I had applied for the card.

              On 12th July i did a recharge for my Jio num[protected] and money was debited from my account two times for the same.
              First time during recharge and 2nd time I received a message in the night stating money has been debited from your the for this recharge.
              I even called to customer care for HDFC bank but they didn't have me any positive response towards my query.
              I even checked with Jio team and they are telling that they received payment only one time.
              And also I checked with UPI app through which the payment was done, they are also telling me that this fault was on Bank end not in there.

                I have taken a Credit Card from HDFC Bank 5 years ago... I made the regular payment but now from 8 months time, I am unable to pay for which i am sending the interest amount to them. Now, I asked them for the settlement for which they disagreed and denied stating that they need the minimum amount to proceed for the settlement. I took a amount of Rs. 85000/- from HDFC and paid almost 60000/- as an Interest. When I denied to pay the interest amount and requested for settling this. They started harassing my family members and relatives by calling and Visiting their home.

                I want to file a complaint in the consumer forum as the collection department is not legalised in India then only, these people are harassing for the payment. I am ready to pay the settled amount not the interest upon it which is levied on my account.

                And moreover, I want to complaint against Mr. Vishal Rana (HDFC) [protected] who without even informing me visited at my relatives house and tried to defame me.

                    I am the Chairman of the this public Trust namely Sat Gopal Religious & Charitable Trust located at Village Hamidpur PO: Kalpi ( Saha) 133104 which is registered and its accounts are being regularly audited by Income Tax. The Trust raises its funds primarily as Donations and loans @ 12 % interest from friends and relatives only. Being Chairman, I run the SB account with the Bank.

                    There were some practices adopted by the Bank in this account in the past which were irritant to me though those transactions were well in accordance with the banking practices. May be due to ignorance or being less efficient on the part of bank employees. After discussion, those irritant practices were not followed thereafter . However, these seems to have spoiled our cordial relation with the Bank. It is in the knowledge of the Bank that I retired as a Supdt. of Police CBi and as such had dealt many bank cases.

                    I used to conduct all transactions through Cheques so as to keep the record straight. I did not get the Cheque book for more than a month though I approached the bank for the same. I had applied for the Cheque book on phone around 12th May but the Cheque book was received around 28th June. As such, on behalf of the Trust, number of payments were to be made from my resources / Imprest as well of my spouse who is also a Trustee, And the payments out of Imprest did not incur the interest liability. to me or to my spouse on the part of Trust whereas on the Loans advanced by us before 10th of the Month, Trust was to pay the interest amounts.

                    To straighten the accounts of the Trust and also to ensure that the Trustees do not loose the due interest amount on loans, number of Transfer transactions were being made by me. This happened around 2nd June as we had to leave for Faridabad on 5th June for our planned visit to USA from 11th June. The Manager took exception to the transfer transactions and termed those illegal and gave the veiled threat that he may freeze the Trust account. Transactions may be seen from Account no [protected]. I have not done any transaction thereafter and now presently in USA. I will be coming back on 3rd August and may not feel comfortable to visit HDFC Branch Saha.

                    To explain the matter there and then I wrote a letter and handed over to the Manager which he failed to acknowledge.

                    It was explained that the transferred funds may be of similar amounts but their nature i.e. Loan or reimbursement may be different. I have not details readily available with me in USA, I may provide the exact details after 3rd August. I have emphasized to the Manager, that for this Income Tax Department is competent and at the best, he may inform that Authority.

                        HDFC bank and istore representative, Bangalore failed to revert on cashback even after crossing 5 months. I'm registered consumer with the bank and used 6 months EMI options to procure iPhone and Macbook. My repeated attempt fai;led to get any breakthrough for last 2 months.No resolution is there till date and already 5th installment is paid.

                            I have transferred Rs. 5000/- to my ICICI bank on 17 Mar 2017 from Payzapp app. But amount not transferred to beneficiary account. Same day informed to Payzapp customer care and they said, transaction failed and money reverted to Payzapp in 5 days. But not happened. So regularly I called and every time they informed me that it will take another 5 days. After 1 month they told me that transaction was success. And provided a transaction number and asked me to call Beneficiary bank. I called and Beneficiary bank person told me that there was no transaction was happened with below transaction. I was really shocked and I send Beneficiary account statement also. This time I got very funny and stunning answer from Payzapp team. They asked a mail confirmation from Beneficiary bank that the transaction failed. Everything was happened from Payzapp. I shocked why customer have to call Beneficiary bank? I don't what they will do? Its already 2 months over. Can any one suggest me how to go legally on this? To whom I have to contact?

                            I have transferred Rs. 20062.56/- to my ICICI bank on 14/July 2018 from Payzapp app. But amount not transferred to beneficiary account. Same day informed to Payzapp customer care and they said, transaction failed and money reverted to Payzapp in 5 days.why they require 5 days to refund if I deposited instantly to there wallet abd if my transaction has failed then they have to return my cash instantly
                            I don't what they will do? Can any one suggest me how to go legally on this? To whom I have to contact?

                              I never wanted HDFC bank credit card, but the staffs in my home branch kept torturing me to get one. They said they are giving it for free and it has many advantages. This month I was charged First year membership fee of Rs.1000 on my credit card. This was not informed to me at all. These people cheat their customers into opting for CC and charging hidden fees like this without the customer's knowledge.

                              Additionally, it was charged on 24th of last month and I hardly got any message or email regarding the charges made on my credit card.

                              I request the authorities involved to do the needful.

                                Ad hoc statment charge ₹118 deduct from my account

                                When i reach to customer care regarding they can't provide proper solution.
                                But my point is that if i cant visit at branch on[protected] and in Description of Charges the statement charges are nil then why bank charges for the same/
                                So need to clarification from bank or reverse my ₹118 to my account.

                                  I was offered an HDFC Credit Card and I was told the credit card is free for life time and there is no annual fees or membership renewal fee towards the credit card hence i took the credit card...Now I see on the credit card statement there is a membership renewal fees for the credit card so I called up the customer service department and informed the same.The customer service department person was very rude and was not ready to listen...So I just wanna cancel my credit card and dont want to pay any membership renewal fees.

                                      I have applied for the credit card application ref no. [protected]N1 12 days ago for hdfc credit card because i got a call from hdfc credit card sales department that they are offering me a credit card. And they said you only need to submit the document of your existing credit card statement, adhaar, pan card. After submitting the documents i didn't get any call from the bank suddenly after few days from submitting my documents a person came to my home for the verification and took the picture of my room and also of my adhaar card. And now i am getting this mail from bank that your credit card has been declined. Please give me the specific reason. Because i know that all of the information was provided by 100% correct.

                                      We wish to inform you that your application has been considered in line with the Bank's internal credit policy (which is based on a combination of financial and related criteria and/or statistically determined scores to assess credit eligibility) and operating/credit processes ( which include a combination of verifications, credit bureau reports and document verifications). We regret to inform you that we are unable to approve your application as it does not meet the above mentioned internal criteria of the Bank.

                                      Please be assured that our inability to approve the credit card application does not reflect in anyway on your credit standing or your financial stability.

                                        My 1696 payment issue not resolved by HDFC bank and Wish.com also till date. HDFC bank not support as well as Wish.com also not support as bank says to me your payment delivered to merchant, when i sent same communication to Wish they denied any acceptance of 1696 payment.Please find the attached both party communication.
