This is the same case happened to me, i had took a loan amount of rs 1.80k vide loan account no [protected] and paid 11 montly emi's of rs 8288 (Rs 91, 168/-). Today i made a call to their customer complaint for closure of my account.
They told me to pay 1.60k for closure of account, they guys are out of the minds because when i paid 11 emi' where is my 91, 168/- amount which i paid earlier?
1 home credit is saying i have paid nothing till date and amount which i paid rs 91, 168/- is only a interest charges?
2 as per your agreement and rbi guidelines if someone foreclose his/ her account no foreclosure charges has to pay to the financier.
This is my hard earned and you guys are looting and cheating your customers
I am waiting for your call for proper information with regards to my account and settlement amount.

Updated by anupam1234 You guys are saying that you are charging 27 % annually interest rate. I paid 11 EMI's for an amount of Rs 91, 135/-, If i calculate 27% on each EMI the interest amount comes to 24606/- and the principle amount which i paid should be 66529/-
It means 1, 80,[protected]= 113, 471 my foreclosure amount.
Start calculating the things on the right way and don't misguide you customers.
