I was given an icici bank credit card, and for card a cpp was initiated for which bill was charged against that card. Before opening the envelope containing the card, i lost the credit card. Icici bank is not cancelling the card, has charged bill against the card and has possibly informed cibil about bill payment defaulting. (I have received an email saying that they would). Without any fault of my own, i am facing this treatment by the bank. I have called the customer care several times and dropped them numerous emails asking to do the same. I even visited the branch in infosys campus pune hinjanwadi phase 2, but they denied helping me by saying that credit card is handled by someone else and branch cannot help me in this matter.
After being harassed by bank, i paid the credit card due bill, even though i had never used the services. Still, they are not cancelling the card. This is causing me extensive stress and i am being mentally harassed by icici bank emails. Also, brining this issue to cibil by icic bank can cause issues in my future loan applications (Through no fault of my own) and could hamper my future.
I need the bank to cancel the credit card, provide with the refund of amount which i have paid as bill payment and clear my name from defaulter list in cibil (If they have done it)
