Dear Sir/Madam :
As you will note, this is a matter not befitting ICICI's standards - wherein a FD upon expected maturity in March 2015 just evaporated into some unknown account - whereas the FD was made with auto-renewal option upon maturity unless notified to the contrary, by me the account holder.
Worse, has been the inaction by ICICI even after the matter was reported to ICICI some three weeks back .After constant follow up ([protected]@icicibank.com -SR[protected], finally the FD was deposited back into my account last week with absolutely no reason given for such mysterious disappearance. What is more, the interest due for the period oct 2014 till date, has not been deposited as well. Furthermore, is the practice of ICICI unilaterally deleting the Service request we create online, without any trail of history whatsoever.
I, therefore, am reaching out to your offices as a last resort, with the following expectations:
1. That ICICI bank Immediately deposits the due interest for the 23 month period, at the then prevailing FD rate, AND cumulative interest on interest accrued thereon.
2. That ICICI bank provides to me the exact, document supported reason of this "mistake" on bank's part and a due compensation for the resultant mental agony/stress and indirect loss of opportunity/reinvestment opportunity due to non availability of funds till now without providing any reason/communication in this regard .
3. I strongly suspect that my money was purposely siphoned off /misused - and demand a screen shot of the account where my FD maturity amount was deposited into, around March 2015.
4. That ICICI immediately stops the practice of deleting the service request created by the customers - no SR should be allowed to be deleted without customer consent.
Hope the above, suffices for ordering a quick action, failing which, i would have no other recourse but to report this matter to the relevant authorities including Ombudsman and/or engage into due legal process at the bank's expense .
