Hi,

I recently recharged my mobile no. [protected] with the new rs. 348 (Unlimited loc/std). Since then whenever i try to call any number it gives "network busy". I am not able to make the calls. Hardly 1-2 calls are getting connected. Even if call is connected the signal quality is too poor.

It's idea's responsibility to make sure that they are technically well equipped before they launch any offer. I have another airtel number which also has similar plan with 300 mb data as well.

I recharged idea as they promised of 1gb data on 2g network. I didnt receive that as well. I am using old 2g mobile. When contacted consumer care idea representative said i will get 2g data only if i have 4g mobile. This was not mentioned in the sms i received from idea about rs. 348 recharge offer.

I thought of letting this go but i am not even able to make the calls as well. Its irritating to get that "network busy" please sort out the issue as soon as possible.

Hi,

God knows when this issue gets sorted out. Today Idea Field Executive visited the location and he said there could be technical issue at nearby site. I thought I just have problem with outgoing calls but he told me that he himself had trouble in contacting me. He was quite good as compared to rest of the executives who were calling me. He told that he will submit the report and put the issue on highest priority and he left. He told that issue will get resolve in maximum 5-6 days.

I thought of relaxing but to my shock I got call in the evening from Idea Representative. He said it might take 180 working days. Seriously!!! 180 Days? Now I have questions I hope Idea people have answer for that. The plan i purchased itself lasts for 28 days. So is any body gonna compensate for the loss I am facing because of Idea's incompetency to maintain their networks properly.

Technicalities are always considered to be out of human's reach so relaxation is given in that area. That why the customer care executives are appointed to console the clients. But less we talk about that better.

Please solve the technical issue and answer my question i mentioned here. I request you not to call me to ask my name address my hand phones. I welcome your calls if you have any affirmative update about the network.

            My account was deducted with an amount of Rs. 29/- for the activation of some stupid my dala deal on 15.02.2017. I got a text from Idea that Rs. 29/- has been deducted for downloading my dala powered deal from my dala.
            Before that text, i did not know what the hell my dala is, so how can i even access for it and download anything.
            After that when i search for my dala i got to know that it is an app. App doesnot charge any amount for installation and here i have not installed any app but downloaded a deal that too without visiting the particular site and downloading app.
            When i contacted customer care, they are repeating only one line like parrot that i might have downloaded something because of which the amount has been deducted.
            I dont understand that how can i download a deal without even visiting the site or app of my dala or idea, further in every app or every site before activating anything the site ask for the number to be entered manually for which i want to activate the deal, how can it automatically gets activated and amount has been deducted. NEW WAY OF LOOTING THE CUSTOMERS AND MAKING FOOL OF THEM.
            Further even if any of the deal is activated in any of the app then how is it possible that i did not get any of the promotional text from mydala till now but only one text from idea about the deduction.
            Isn't it strange that we had paid for something and we dont know what it is for or what are the benefits we'll get.
            There are numerous complaints from the customers of idea regarding deduction of the amount for this non sense mydala or i can say that the internet is flooded with this type of complaints that means i am not the only victim. The only solution to this is to stop recharging on idea as when there will be no amount then what will be decduted.

            IDEA SHOULD UNDERSTAND THIS THAT BY DOING SUCH THINGS IT IS NOT PROMOTING MY DALA BUT PUTTING ITS GOODWILL AT SAKE, SPECIALLY AT THIS TIME WHEN JIO IS HOLDING NUMBER ONE POSITION/CHOICE AMONG THE INDIANS OR MAKING EACH AND EVERY EFFORT TO RETAIN ITS CUSTOMERS.

            I WANT MY ENTIRE MONEY BACK WHICH WAS DEDUCTED WRONGLY.

It was not resolved as she was also repeating the same sentence which customer service executive was saying when i called customer care aftee deduction of amount that i might have used some paid service or have clicked on some paid service due to which the amount has been deducted. They are only repeating there one liner and are not willing to listen to the customers point of view that he/she has not clicked on anything as for clicking the thing has to be come on screen. I had used the same sites on that day also which i use almost daily. In history also i had not seen anything related to dala. Very much disappointed.

            I have received a call and There is no regretion from your side and it seems that everything is useless as you guys are also repeating the same content which the customer care executives has already told me. You guys are aware of only one sentence and you are only repeating that point and doesn't concern about the customer point of view that the customer has not used any paid service or has not clicked any unknown source so how can the money be deducted and deal acn be activated. If i had used any paid service or site then why would i have been complaining about the deduction and that was not the first time when we had used internet.. We use it daily and almost the same sites daily so how could any paid service can be used by me or i have clicked on any paid site, even if i had clicked then my point of view is i would have known that i have done something wrong and because of which my money has been deducted but here i am telling you that i have not clicked used any paid service, i didnt even knew about my dala before and all the sites which i surf daily was only used on that day when the amount was deducted so how come i have not read or seen anything about mydala after that just because that day i was using idea internet and now i dont. Even the history is not showinh anything related to this stupid dala.

            Well if you have got my point then return the amount otherwise dont call me and bother me to repeat your one liner again and again.

            Every problem has a solution and solution of this problem is not to recharge on IDEA ever.

            I had written in my complaint above that i had already received a call from the executive and i am not satisfied as you guys are repeating the same point (better read everything thoroughly) and if you have got my view point then better return the amount otherwise dont call me as i dont want to listen to your same one liner or reason again and again.
            I had been charged in my bill cycle account with an amount of Rs. 29/- for the activation of some stupid Mydala (WAP Download) I got a bill from Idea that Rs. 29/- has been charged in for downloading Mydala powered deal from Mydala.
            I did not know what the hell Mydala is, so how can i even access for it and download anything.
            This is illegally cheating by idea, if that was the case why don't u people cheat directly, this was the bad experience in my life charged for that, I don't know what the hell is Mydala First apol you idea people you don't know to provide proper network, now u people started cheating in The name of Mydala that I have downloaded it.
            Great better I will quite your network only.

              Hello my name is Sunny Garg using idea postpaid number [protected] that number was not in use as i was in panipat where i wasn't able get any network by which because of that i had a payment due of 600 rs around...as the number get permanent disconnected i paid my bill and the store operater sais number will get activated...but not there are saying it is not confirmed i want to activate that number at any cost i have submitted my documents again still number is not activated...please help me its my business number it will be alot Losss for me if i didn't get that number...

              Idea deducted amount of rs.35 for some stupid scheme name 360 music, for which I didn't requested. And when i complain for the same in idea care number, they refused to give my money back. Idea doesn't care for its customers.

                Today morning we got a phone call from some lady (from a Bhopal Madhaya Pradesh number) stating that Idea has filed a legal complaint case against my son for no payment of dues even though he had fully closed the connection and paid the then outstanding amount by cheque. She told us to contact a lawyer in Patiala High Court for details of the case, and told us that we can get the complaint closed if we immediately paid Rs 3000 at an Idea store within half an hour.

                We told her that it would take some time to contact my son in office, get the money, find the nearest Idea store etc.

                She again called three more times within the next five minutes with the same message, till my wife told her that we are going to find out and pay, if required, as soon as possible, and to stop pressurising us.

                We contacted the lawyer (Anil Chaudhary, mob: [protected]), and told him we had paid the closure fee etc. y cheque, and it would take time to get the cheque number etc. After hearing this, he reduced the 'recovery' amount from Rs 3000 to Rs 550, and said we should go to the Idea store, pay this amount and then have him talk to the Idea representative at that store to confirm, after which he would 'clear' the complaint. We told him that it will be done by second half today. He reluctantly agreed.

                This is the tactics used by Idea (or their agents) to harass, pressurise and to receive inflated 'recovery' amounts. All persons thinking of getting an Idea connection - BEWARE !

                  I had idea postpaid plan of 3GB 3g data, in addition to this i had 3GB Rs 450 plan. Total i had 6GB pack.The bill cycle was from 05th to 04th.Due to relocation of job i had requested to MNP on 19th nov 16 to save roaming charges .Surprisingly after my number portability which was certainly after verification of submission of old dues on 23rd nov 16. Even though they have generated bill for Rs 1640. I have used old plan for 19 days and in these 19 days i have used around total 5.95 GB data which is lesser than my data plan of total 6 GB. For these 19 days my inrenet bill came to Rs 1078 due to prorata calculation after number portability . It is total fraud they are charging unilaterlly. My old account number is :[protected]. Please help me in this as they are charging unnecessarily.

                      I am Rahul having mobile no. 7... & 9..., using from 4 years and cleared all monthly bills on time to time without any delay.This is not first time i am facing serious problems from customer care executives behavior, before this so many times they did same intolerant behavior with me but i was not taken seriously but this time they crossed their limit and i am not going to tolerate this time.Few months back on Oct'16, my number 96... having a billing amount of Rs.850 (according to Idea cellular), They have charged rs.450 extra as GPRS service without any confirmation from me. But they are forcefully trying to consider me this charge and always saying that i have activated this service and every time i told them that i have a plan which is already activated in my number in which i have got 1 GB- 2G data free.And for this month also i have used only 750MB data then why should i activate a nonsense 2G plan again.For that i have mailed several times also.I got a call from executive who said it will settled down in November bill without any extra charges and i have to pay the same existing amount of Rs.375.But after that they do not settled any amount and kept calling me and harassing me every time and i always trying to understand them i am ready to pay my actual and genuine amount but they don't understand the matter i think and they stopped the outgoing services of my number 74...
                      Yesterday my family member got a call from [protected] (Idea cellular recovery department) unfortunately i was there, a third grade lady & male executive has talked with me, abuse me and they also called to the number's of my family members and abused them badly but this time i am not going to let them go as previously done.

                      I need a quick action and reply on this matter.

                      From now onward, say no to idea.

                        I have sent the message to 1900 on 01.03.2017 at 12.30 pm for Number Portability.
                        As per idea company policy i got call from idea but due to some reason i could not received.
                        Lastly i got call from [protected] on 01.03.2017 at 6.31 pm and call duration was 3.07 minutes.
                        Mr.vishal toked with me abusively.
                        Here i am attaching some message snapshot.
                        Its humble request to you your please don not use vulgar word with customers.
                        please look in to this matter.

                          Hi, This is premchand. I have used idea postpaid connection 12 months before 2 to 3 times, and i am not using that connection from september 2016 due to bill disputes.I have received wrong bill in the month of September 2016 for that reason i have raised complaint against the bill which was wrongly provided by idea Cellular .Till date issue not resolved even that today, i got call from [protected] a lady she said that we are from Delhi Court and we are lodged the FIR against your dues of ICMS PVT LTD and your case will be handled by MR ASHOKUMAR and she had given me contact no of him that is[protected]. I have recorded both the calls.Discussed with MR ASHOKUMAR he said that he is advocate and case has been raised against dues of Idea Billing . The thing is that i have activated rs 175 of Pack of Internet but, it has lapsed without any prior information. and i have been charged as a base tariff plan and i have received 3370 Rs of bill .I have raised complaint for the same and also i have received calls from the customer care of idea that we will pass you waiver of Rs. 1500 you should be done reaming payment .I asked them for the dispute and i agreed to pay Rs. 1870 at that time but the Idea Employer said we cant pass you Rs. 1500 of waiver.that the reason case has been not closed till date but getting calls for the payment and they are Threatening me . Its my humbled request to u those peoples who are calling, plz stop nonsense activities otherwise i will go to the step by step . I am not going to make the payment till case not resolved .I am ready to pay Rs. 1870/- any time . but idea people are not supportive. they used abusive language

                          I have the exact same issue with the exact same agency and person (icms pvt ltd & ashok malhotra). Mine is regarding the Idea Broadband connection which I used to use more than a year ago. Out of 30 days the broadband did not use to work for at least 10 days. And I was paying the amount for whole month. This went for months, and I used to pay the whole amount in spite the internet not working half of the time. I asked Idea to discontinue the connection immediately. They did not and continued the connection for one more month even though I did not want to continue. They generated the bill on 900+ which I refused to pay since I had specifically asked them to discontinue. And today received the call similar to Prem. This is preposterous. Horrible service. Forcing the user to continue though I did not want to. And collecting money for unwanted pathetic service. Just WOW Idea!

                          P.S. Switched to another broadband provider. So much better service.
                          I have got the same call we should get these people arrested. Why are they troubling the local citizens like this.

                          Same company is Idea data compromised in hands of wrong people this is unacceptable.
                          same thing happened with me, Idea legal Dept is doing illegal work, and doing harassment of their customer.
                          idea cellular ltd has given collection work in hand of wrong agency ICMS. They are threatening idea customer by using "DELHI LOK ADALAT" name. Totally doing illegal work. TRAI, Telecom Regulatory Authority of India, should take action against Idea Celluar & ICMS agency.
                          I have also got a call from Mr. Vinod Sharma([protected]) saying that I have received one file against you and you need to talk to Mr. Ajay Chaudhary ([protected]) from ICMS Pvt Ltd and short out your matter so that your file can be closed.
                          Called not received from Mr. Ajay.

                          I am Siddhant Kharavtekar

                          I want to bring your kind notice i purchase your IDEA sim card that time of sim card your idea executive told me that your monthly bill will not go above 450 rs, but when i activate monthly bill started to come 700 rs and above .I paid 4 months and above regularly your bill.and many many times i requested for Deactivate jackpot offer but the customer care executive told me that u have to pay 100 rs extra per month for 3 months we cannot deactivate this pack its doesn't matter u used the service or not, then also i get huge bill amount of 700-750 rs. so i decided to close the service so i spoke with the customer care executive they told me u must pay 500 rs i do waiver off rs 200. i paid 500 rs so company disconnect my network after 2 days . then also every month i got bill and company executive asking me to pay the extra money.

                          my sim card service is disconnected by company then also i am receiving bill regularly and company staff is harassing me mentally using valgular language and the call come from ICMS pvt from Delhi threatening me from there legal department that company will take action against you and they hacking my data and harassing my friends and relatives also

                          so i hope sir you will take necessary action for this and will stop company harassment to me

                              Today someone did a fraud transaction from my account using IDEAMONEY. Please help me.

                              I got a call from stranger (named Mohit) and he told that they are calling from hdfc credit card department / payindia phone number – ([protected]) .
                              They told that because of I have not redeem my reward points of credit card, they can send money RS 4675 to my any other debit card .
                              Smartly they have taken my card detail and did transaction .

                              I am giving transaction detail below –

                              Request you to please cancel this transaction and revert back my money .

                                  I had received a call from [protected] on 12.25 pm, 12.27, 12.28 (Dated 1.3.2017), where she said we are calling from bank online reward points department and she asked the credit card details for the purpose of giving additional reward points and cash back. I gave the card number and she asked the cvv & otp when i checked the sms completely till the transaction done. After she told me within 2 days the reward points will credit in your card. After 2 hrs later i checked & the amount of rs.4800 debited in my card (twice). I checked with bank, they told the amount transaction done in some other merchant, immediately i blocked my card with help of bank executive. I tried to contact that person but they are not picking calls.

                                    Hi, my name is premkumar. I took one Sim which is related to idea. So I was logged in today through idea cellular website. It was successful logged in with no issues. So in that website My offers tab showing right side of the page.. I clicked on that to know my offers on my number. It is showing one offer Rs 19.. This offer is national roaming offer for 1 month free incoming.. So I was clicked on BUY NOW. Recharge successful but not activated roaming offer... Activated another offer. I made a call with customer care and they said it is done only by USSD CODE. My concern is suppose if it not applicable through website then why it was showing BUY NOW... Eventhough I was not recharge any other private websites.. I done throgh its their own website. But they said it is not possible to refund the amount. So that I'm applying to consumer complaints forum to solve my issue.
