Hi My wife had received calls from your collection team. The person who called from the land line number[protected] used very abusive language. This is regarding a debt his brother had taken long back with ABN Amro bank. We are not sure about the whereabouts of her brother. The same person had called my father-in-law and sister-in-law and even some of my sister-in-law colleagues. If my brother-in-law owns a debt taken on his personal account (credit card or whatever) only he is responsible for the same. I do not understand on what basis does your collection team can call everyone who is not even related to the loan. I request your bank take initiatives to prevent such harassment's in future.

    Dear Concern, My name is Pravesh Kumar. I am from New Delhi. My account is in Kotak Mahindra Bank, Old Rajendra Nagar Branch. Also, one of personal loan i taking from kotak mahindra bank amount of Rs. 2.5Lac. Here I would like to inform you, the bank account in kotak mahindra is Salary account, opened by company where i am working as an Accounts Manager. The problem is, company have financial problem last April 2013 onwards. In this during the salary are not comes timely. Last November 2013 onwards my salary are due / not crediting in my kotak salary account. Now, June month i have recevied amount of Rs. 41, 000/- in my salary account, but the same amount are hold / blocked by kotak bank. As per kotak bank, he required the confirmation letter from employer. here i would like to inform you due to financial problem and verious bank loan avail by employer and public shares are take by employer, the High Court, Bombay are give instruction for closed the company. Due to this i am unable to provide the employer letter. Also one of the director are [censored]ing there and touch with bank manager directly.during to meeting with bank manager( Patel Nagar branch) with me he told there are no option to bank will unfreeze my account. I think bank manager are with companies director side, reason well know eaither he or companies director. Here i am writing to you, for please help and provide a better solution for get my salary amount from bank. As no any one helping me on this. i have need to pay kotak mahindra bank loan emi. as last 5-6 month onwards the loan emi are pending. Please provide your kind co-operation on this.       Inquiry No. 1-[protected] Two collection executives came for the collection on 13-08-14 and claimed that the Check No.000058 has returned back again and I need to make alternate payment of Rs 5000.00 for the same. I was shocked to hear this and tried to explain them that the check was indeed cashed. I requested them to come in the evening to collect the funds and I will be able check it myself if the check was cashed or not in the meantime. According to their records, the check was returned again which is WRONG and I consider this false and misleading information being provided to the Kotak customers. They tried to convince that the check has bounced again and were adamant to get cash in place of that check. I had no option but to TRUST them and to give them Rs 5000. Later I called Kotak customer care who confirmed that the Check No. 000058 was cashed and applied towards the credit card account. I called back these executives to get some explanation about the same, however, they were too busy to speak properly and considered it within the "Code of Conduct" as described by the Kotak Bank. Following are two receipts numbers that were provided to me : 1. ATR Receipt No. 721788 (Check No. 000058) on 29-07-14. 2. ATR Receipt No. 723038 (Cash Rs 5000.00 ) on 13-08-14. I do understand that one of my previous check (000056) was returned back due to lack of funds and it is something that should not have happened in the first place. I will ensure that the future payments are done within the prescribed time window, however, I'm very disappointed with this situation and have no faith left in Kotak Bank. I will really appreciate if someone can look into this and get back to me explaining WHY this happened.         I have person loan as per A/C no. 24167871 and I was submitted salaried accounts cheque which (ICICI Bank). And now I have resigned the company and my account has been closed, So I need to change my bank for ECS in further payment for my loan. I was visited (as per record ) kotak Mahindra Bank, Ambadeep K.G. Marg and I had word with your executive and she was gave me ECS form to complete with SBI bank (Saving A/C). Next day, I have completed the form by my bank, I have courier the form along with canceled cheque to your bank and mail my bank statement as well. After two days I have received the call to your bank as they are not able to process my ECS. Moreover, they told me there no any option to change my ECS to any other bank. Whenever my issues get not resolve I have stop the payment to your bank. After that, I want to pay my EMI regular, kindly do the needful to resolve my issue. Regards, Manmohan Singh ([protected])

          My complaint is regarding kotak credit card i have been charged a transaction amount of rupees 6999/- by merchant vee ess infosolutions from delhi. In march 2014. I was told it will not be charged and now they have charged me. They are harrasing me to make the payment for which i am not supposed to be paying. They r doing fraud somebody plz help me. I have submitted the dispute forms and done all procedures but still by problem is not resolved.

            I had obtain personal loan from Kotak Mahindra Bank for Rs.195000/- last year, as the standard policy bank had accepted 3 month EMI by PDC cheque for an EMI of Rs. 7118/-, thereafter the bank had instructed me to done the EMI payment by ECS for which I had submitted the ECS mandate get sign & verify from my OBC Bank thrice. But the problem is that on every due date of 10th of every month the ECS of Rs.7118/- does not hit from S.B. Account as my OBC Bank stated their might be problem with Kotak Mahindra Bank for which the ECS does not hit from my account. From last 9 month on every due date I use to call the Kotak Bank to resolve this issue but they are not taking the matter seriously and unnecessary they impose a penalty of Rs.3000/- appr. by simply stating they have not recd the EMI timely inspite of my continuous email and phone call and also their has been sufficient bank balance on the due date. Thereafter they had waive off the said penalty in the month of Dec.13 but again the same issue does not resolve and they have charge an penalty of Rs.6500/- for which I had never ever recd a phone call from kotak Bank instead of which last weak I had recd a call from CIBIL department stating my penalty amt. is still due for pending. In order to resolve the issue I had contact the Kotak Bank from last 9 month & also several times visited the kotak bank but they are helpless. they simply stated the matter will resolved only by making a call to their call centre.But now I am helpless and depress of what to do and to whom to complaint as the problem arise not on account of my defaults. and now on last friday I had recd a call from Kotak Bank, they required my cancelled cheque in order to check my OBC S.B. A/c. so as to resolve the issue.I am surprised after a long awaited time and after harassing me now they are able to look into the root of the problem. but that too also does not satisfied me as once again from yesterday I had again receiving a call to pay the penalty of Rs.6000/- And for your information, I had also obtain a personal loan from HDFC Bank for Rs. 3 lac at the same time when I had availed the personal loan with Kotak Bank but with HDFC Bank this problem does not airse their my ECS hit properly on every 7th of the month. I would highly grateful if this problem gets resolve at your earliest in getting the penalty amount waived off Regards Juned Halai Chartered Accountant [protected]

              Hi.


              My CRN no is 37646796 and loan agreement number
              SPLN[protected] I have personal loan with kotak I
              submitted all my papers them in month of June they did not take the EMI
              from Citi bank account, I checked with Citi Bank they were saying Kotak did not
              send us any request for ECS from, I gave all signed paper them 5 times but they never send now
              due to that reason I got late fee .


              I asked them to remove all charges but
              the promise all the time but never removed. I am fed up with their services
              first they took 4 months to approve the loan now again same thing because
              of their mistake why should I pay late fee. I already deposit the cheque last
              month in the branch towards my EMI. But they never update my account.
              I checked with CITI bank now the ECS has already set up and the lady called me
              from Kotak last time she said we will remove the late fee once
              the ECS with set up but it never happened.


              I called to the customer care more than 20 times and sent email them more than
              40 times but they are not ready to listen anything and can’t help
              and was saying that you have to go the Loan Branch which is not possible for me
              because I moved different state so no possible to for this work I visit 1000Km.


              Now they have blocked my bank account and I am
              not able to make any transaction I deposited one cheque of Rs
              5000 towards my credit card payment on July 5th and it reverse
              because you block my account because of that I got late charges of 1250 Rs from
              Citi bank there is no fund in my account that’s what you said when
              called because you people block it without informing me I need
              remove all the charges and penalties and credit back in my account
              the late fee and the amount I paid extra that happened because of your mistake. Last 2 months my both account reported late
              Credit biro as well .


              I am totally fed up with their services
              this is one the worst experience I had with Kotak since I opened bank
              account with you. This is almost more than Month I am totally unhappy with
              such services which I never expected from Kotak.

              1 month.

                This is to bring to your notice that I have been receiving calls from the collection department for a payment on credit card# [protected]. I got a call today morning (31/07/2014) at 6:38 AM (Mobile [protected]) from the collections department by Mr. Ravinder Bali, with was harassing in nature and was at a completely odd hour. I am sure your collections department works during the normal business hours. Would also like to complain that my wife is being harassed about the same matter and is getting calls at her place of work despite several verbal requests not to call and harass my wife and also a written one sent to Mr. Gautam Sharma (sharma.[protected]@kotak.com) on 28th Nov' 2013. She got a call on 29th July'2014 from mobile number [protected] from the Phoenix Trust collections team, who fraudulently claim that they are calling from Kotak Mahindra bank. This clearly shows that your collections department is willing to resort to any level and has no regard for the law of the land. Please look into this matter or I would have no other option but to resort to legal complaint against such illegal and harassing practices.                     As per the RBI norms for the fair practice of collection of credit card loan your bank is the worst .I had a credit card of Barclays bank in 2008.i was not able to pay the card dues because my bussines went in loss.I went back to my hometown and was unemployed for 2 years because i met with an accident.I am the only working member of the family supporting my mother, wife and a small child. I also went into financial losses . I have been getting harrasment calls for last couple of days for collection . These people say they are from your bank .They are calling all my family members, they called my wife shouted and harrased her which caused her ill she suffered from low Blood pressure.by the phone call. they are threatening my life .I am going to file a legal case against harrasment.

                      Dear Concern, Let me bring it to your kind notice, I keep on gets the calls from your representative saying that I have a approval for the credit card. tho I have a couple of credit cards i applied to minimize the calls from your Customer care. Finally, I got a status that my application got rejected due not verification of residence. The address which i mentioned in application form is my own. And I have credit cards on the same address. And simply you can not say it is not verified. if your executive comes to verify he could have call me. I may not stay all the time at house. I am a job holder, I leave the house at 09:00 hrs and returned back at 19:00 hrs. what time your executive came. And let me tell you another thing, my neighbors doesn't know me. I stay Very calm to my residence. and they call me by my pet name. I am not worried for the credit card as i have already couple of them with me. I want to question you that, why you guys are calling us and making us to proceed for the credit card. After so much of time and phone call spending, finally status is not approved due to no reason? And please note, when you do the login of my file, if its reject my Cibil score falls down. who will be responsible for that. Please train your executive before you send them for verification. Hope you understand and take this matter to higher officials and take the corrective actions. wishing you a great day ahead...                         Dear Sir/Madam, I am Sendil Kumar from Bangalore and My Barclay Loan ID: [protected], This loan was given to me, based on CITI bank loan good track record on top of CITI Personal loan. On Last Feb 12th'2008 got a loan from Barclays bank and the disbursed loan amount was INR 516, 000. Payments were made on HDFC cheque in favour of 1) CITI Bank A/C LGABAS[protected] HDFC (Cheque no.63776) - INR 338, 628.00 2) Axis Bank Ltd Sendil Kumar A/c [protected] - HDFC Cheque no.35958 - INR 164, 228.00 However, CITI Bank A/C LGABAS[protected] HDFC (Cheque no.63776) - was given with wrong Loan id and it was unable to close the CITI bank loan. (Dated: 12/02/2008) Then I had to request for new Cheque from Barclays Bank, for which I had to send indemnity bond, and then they Re-issued new Cheque dated on 11/06/2008. During this tenure I had to keep on Paying for both CITI and Barclays for which I went for an EMI of (INR 25, 000/-) on both the Banks. Closed CITI personal loan and continued to pay EMI of (Rs15, 157/-) to Barclays bank. Since It got Difficult for me to maintain paying EMIs for both the bank during that phase it become difficult for me pay the EMI’s (However by this time I was able to Clear all Loan Amount of CITI). So I requested Barclays to Increase my tenure plan and reduce EMI for which I raised a request and sent mail to customer Services (Dated: 8th March 2009). I was waiting for the reply but before that only Barclay Finance and recovery team started calling me continuously harassing me as well my family members for the pending Loan amount. Later Barclays bank issued me a settlement letter Ref No: MUM/319/6500 (Dated: 18th Nov 2009) For 2, 80, 000/-(Settlement offered up to 15th Feb'2010) The amount was really high for me to clear it off in such limited time frame. However, fed up with continuous harassment calls and torture I thought of clearing it of within the specified time. I was able to clear Rs 1, 75, 000 (within the specified time of 15th Feb’2010) after which it really got difficult for me and I requested few more month time for clearing of the settlement to Barclay Finance. I was really trying hard and sincerely to clear the settlement amount because even I was fed up with the harsh and inhuman behavior Shown by Barclays towards me. Still they forcibly collected 4 postdated cheques from me and asked me deposit the money below ICICI Barclays bank PLC account. I was continuously making the payment to ICICI[protected] Barclays bank PLC account and Cleared Rs 70, 000 from my side and I’ve sent scanned chalan copy to them through mail id (Rameshm.[protected]@gmail.com) (Metro Associate's Enterprises [MG Road, Bangalore]) As of now my outstanding Balance is 35, 000/- last week, I've got a call from Rakesh Kotak Mahindra bank, New thippasandra branch legal department team, asked me to clear outstanding Barclays bank personal loan due as 3, 39, 000/- Rakesh[protected] I’ve no idea about that Kotak Mahindra bank acquired by Barclays bank. Without any prior notification, suddenly called me asking about loan due amount. Threatening me as Warrant issued and coming home to create a nuisance to my family. I would Insist you take necessary action against these people like these and consider the below fact. During the tenure when there was a delay By Barclays to Re-Issue a valid Cheque I had to bear extra 40, 000 to Clear CITI Loan. I would really appreciate if you can adjust my Pending loan amount of INR 35, 000 for the Extra amount incurred by me because of the delay in Re-Issue of Valid Cheque by You(Barclays). It’s really Irritating and annoying for me now and even I am losing out on my Patience. I am tax abiding National and this is the worst Experience I had ever had with any Bank. If I ever knew this is the kind of behavior shown to me for taking up a Loan then I would never ever had gone to a Bank like this. But IMPS could not be processed due to Beneficiary Credit Status Unknown. I am still waiting from my money back but nothing happened...                             What i need to do I have to send.
                            1. Photo.
                            2. Address Proof.
                            3. PAN card.
                            4. Cancelled cheque of the bank in which the winning amount to be credited.
                            5. Rs 30000 cheque in favour KOTAK LIFE INSURANCE.

                            All the above documents I need to send to

                            2nd Floor Halwasiya House
                            11 MG Marg Hazrat Gung

                            Once he will receive the documents, my money policy will be initiated and will be transferred amount of 3.5 lakh in 30 days, then he will send me withdrawal form to withdraw policy amount as well.

                            Please beware do not pay any money, I was lucky not to get trapped

                            Thank you Satyam for providing this info. Even i got the similar call where they informed me that I am winner of 3.5 lakh rupees and settlement will happen through Kotak Life insurance. I need to pay 30000rs cheque in favour KOTAK LIFE INSURANCE.

                            Hi, I also got the similar call from One of the person named Mukesh Garg. What is this going on. This is either Bag It Today's fault or Kotak Life Insurance. We need to bring them down. Can we file FIR against both of them or can we file case against the person who called me and provided the details?How can so many frauds are happening without involving them. They are asking to deposit to "Kotak Life Insurance".One

                            I am Jagajeev Menon from THRISSUR, KERALA.

                            I too received 2 calls, first from number [protected] I am not sure of this number saying that my file is forwarded from BagItToday as I am winner of 4.5 lakh rupees and settlement will happen through Kotak Life insurance. The first call was made by a woman did not mention her name. I immediately stopped the call and said not interested once she said 10% of prize money needs to be deposited with kotak life insurance. The second call yesterday from a woman from this number [protected] at about 1 p.m. saying that my file is forwarded from BagItToday as I am winner of 4.5 lakh rupees and settlement will happen through HDFC Life. She initially asked did anybody called me before regarding this. I said no since I want to know the intensity of the fraudgery I just proceeded further and she verified my name, date of birth and said some documents needs to be required with 10% of prize money needs to be deposited as security deposit. Processing period is 45 days and after 8 to 10 days security deposit will be refunded.

                            She said following documents needs to be sent:
                            1. Photo.
                            2. Address Proof.
                            3. PAN card.
                            4. Cancelled cheque of the bank in which the winning amount to be credited.
                            5. Rs 45000 cheque in favour HDFC Life.

                            She has provided my File No and said not to disclose to anybody and HDFC Life people will call you and verify your file no, date of birth etc.


                            Exactly today October 7, 2014, I received a call from [protected] at 1:33 p.m. from a man and he asks the file no and date of birth and immediately I said I am not interested and said I don't have enough money with me and also said there is no such rule to pay security deposit for prize money. He said the file will be cancelled and I said okay and ends the call.


                            Please help finding such frauds and punish them.

                              i have opened 20 days back a junior account.in which my parents have given 2 thousands cheque from
                              my fathers account. but yet i have not received any kit now. previously they were asking that account has

                                Hello, i never have credit card from barclays or kotak mahindra bank. I have been in USA for last 6 years. Last Friday Elanthirai (Phone number : [protected]) has called and told that there is Police case in Chennai Commissioner office and threatening he will get me deported to India unless i pay 1.5 lacs. I never had credit card from them, never received any notification about the payment delays or statements from either of the banks. how do i take this issue in to legal so they stop harassing my parents. Any suggestions or help will be greatly appreciated.

                                  Hello All this is a complain regarding "Debit Block", I am working with IT company during the induction i got my welcome kit of my salary account. i have activated net banking, phone banking etc. after some days call from bank came stating that my welcome kit is not delivered which i already have. problem is there was two welcome kit on my name which is fault of bank. my salary got credited into account which
                                  i have. because of this issue i can't debit my money from ATM, NetBanking etc.. i raised a complain on[protected] and today is[protected] still it is not resolved. i have to pay my EMI's, Credit Card bills with penalties and bad record in CIBIL, Have to send money to parents, facing lots of issue. i want 50K as reimbursement for this issue.

                                    Last week on 03/06/2014 i opened a salary account.The RM provided me the Instant kit immediately and said that account will be activated within 2 days or if account is activated then net banking will work. I checked after 2 days and found net banking is working and so I immediately transferred all my money to this account. When i went to the atm to withdraw money it said "Debit Block".                                       I took two life insurance policies from Kotak Life Insurance agent for my wife in 2009. The agent assured that I have to pay Rs.20, 000 for 3years, and I will get back the double of it in the next 5years. That is, if I pay Rs. 120, 000 during the first three years, I would get back the double of it, Rs.2, 40, 000, after 5years. And the policy was for 20years - I would get Rs. 2, 00, 000 after 20years. The other policy was similar where I had to pay 36000 yearly for getting double. The term here was 15 years. I paid for the policy 01835403 INR 72000 across two years and for policy[protected] across three full years which was what was committed to me. Now when I am asking for bonus as promised I am being told that out of the 120000 I paid the money that would be paid back to me is 73000 and out of the 72000 I paid I would be paid back 26000 only. I was totally shocked since I had saved this money from my pension to make sure that my wife's life cover is there. I raised a complaint against this on 7th Jan 2014 via complaint numbers - 1-[protected] (rakesh was the call center guy) and 1-[protected] (Hemant -calll center executive) but to my utter dismay I found that rather than resolving the issue my policy was auomaticallyterminated and I was issued a cheque of 26000 which I refused to accept. Can someone please help out senior citizens like me who are being cheated by institutions like Kotak life insurance of their savings and hard earned money? I want all the amount 192000 returned back to me with interest for the three years. Regards Jugendra Singh

                                        I had opened an account in Bangalore after which I shifted to Kolkata. I had called up the bank and made necessary changes to my current address and other details. I also received my credit card at the current address in Kolkata. Now it seems the bank has erased that record and still shows my Bangalore address as current address and is sending couriers and New Debit Card to Bangalore. Not only that, in spite of supplying them with dozens of identity proofs they still have my birthday wrong in the system. And they wont even tell me what it is. So i am unable to use Verified by Visa since it asks for birthday for verification. Even the customer care people do not help much. They just keep directing me from one call to another and then someone says' Sorry cant help you' This is the worst service by a bank I have experienced so far.
