There was a listing for a 2BHK Flat in DSR Green Apartment Whitefield on 25th January by an owner named Alok Jaitawat.

On contacting the owner, he asked for 2000 Rs for visiting the property (said that it was for generating a visiting token and will be refunded after you visit the flat). I sent the money to Pawan Kumar Bairwa ([protected]) on Paytm. After sometime, he asked for Rs 4000 saying that there is some technical issue in generating the token and will be resolved as soon as you pay. I refused to pay this amount and asked him to refund Rs 2000 since I was no more interested in his flat. He said he can't refund and even asked for my account no so that he could transfer the money to which I refused again.

Please take the necessary actions.

    Hi All,

    We heard a very good feedback from my friend about NoBroker interior work. But our experience till now has been very bad from the day the design was locked. Let me emphasis a few of the pain points here.

    1) There was a huge difference in the initial approximate quote and one which we received after design changes. Initial quote from your team was ~3 lakh before we ended with an agreement by paying 5% of amount. Post the design discussion, it came to ~7 lakh without much of structural change from our end. We were pretty clear about our requirement from day 1. As we couldn't move out the deal as we already paid a certain amount (5%) which was non-refundable, we descoped some of the work (like shoe rack & all) and tried to bring down the quote to our budget.

    2) After the design has been locked down and we made the required payment (almost 50% of the entire quote). Post that there has not been any update shared on the progress of the work. We feel lucky if your production incharge to pick up the call (Hari Ganesh). The project lead Mr. Sharukh is hard to reach by. Either he is sick out or not reachable. He never responded back to call or message.

    3) When we went for the drilling work as suggested by your so called designer, we got to know our is a Mivan construction and we can't drill hole in the core. My whole design was based on some of the drilling in the core. The whole kitchen interior aesthetic now went for a toss because your designer couldn't read out that it is Mivan construction. Being subject matter expert, it was the minimum expected from them. What is point of consulting nobroker when I need take care of all the corner cases.

    4) I have already paid 50% of the fees and as per the terms I need to pay 30% after half of the work is completed on site. Forget about half of the work, they have not even started anything. Now I need to make the payment based on work which has been done in the factory which I don't have any visibility.

    5) Initially ETA from your team was 3rd Feb for all the work and the material was suppose to be delivered by 23rd of Jan. Now there seems to be some QC issue which they don't want to reveal and saying it will be delayed by 2 days. Fact of the matter is, the new date for completion shifted by almost a week (10th of Feb). I have already committed to my tenant and taken advance for 10th Feb, keeping 1 week in buffer.

    Totally unprofessional service from NoBroken and killed my entire excitement about the work. Given a choice I definitely want to move out of this mess.

    It has been 3rd of March and work has not been completed yet. They do not respond to our call or messages. Planning to drag them to consumer forum.

      I purchased the moneyback plan to rent out my commercial unit last month and was reassured that if the unit gets rented out through other sources, I will get a full refund of the amount minus 1499/- service charge.

      Now, when I have uploaded my rent agreement to claim a refund, the RM Swagatika says that the claim is rejected because the rent agreement is for 25000 and my negotiable amount was 35000.

      My first question is how can a unit which has an ask price of 27000 have a negotiated price of 35000?

      Secondly, she says that the built up area of the unit in the agreement does not match what I told her verbally on the phone. I mentioned to her that our rent is based on our carpet area and built up area is just an estimate.

      She also said that she cannot make me listen to the recording where “I” have said that my negotiated last price is 35k.

      She point blank said that my refund is rejected and she cannot do anything as she is just doing what she has been asked to do.

      I have taken another service from NoBroker packers and movers and they have misplaced one of my boxes too.

      Now they are trying to make me settle for a claim of 3000 rupees when my insurance amount for the goods is 50000.

        So I purchased a freedom plan on NoBroker app to find rental properties. I am registered with email- adilrahman.[protected]@gmail.com. I paid around 1800 including taxes. I get 25 contacts. I contacted 2 of them in 3 days. The next day i find that I am unable to contact any owner. Curious to find out why i dialled NoBroker support. I was informed there is a technical issue with my account and will be resolved within 12 hours. That 12 hours never came. I am still waiting for my account to be active so that I can contact owners. They have just looted me and i don't know how many other consumers. I have read thousands of reviews like this on other websites. I am surely filing a case on them in Consumer court. They can't keep looting everyone like this.

          A Big fraud...took money did nothing...and now no refund. U can only like the reviews...everything else is disabled.

            I had opted for nobroker moneyback policy to find a rented accom in bangalore on 26th nov. As per policy, if i found a home on my own or by sources other than nobroker, I am eligible to get the subscription amount i.e Rs. 7078 back, and will not be charged anything.
            I provided the rental agrrement for verfiication to claim the subscription charges and got successfully verfied by nobroker agent and was promised to get the refund credited by 10 Jan 2023. I got the refund initiated message on 3 january 2023 (screenshot for this is attached), which said the money should be credited within 7 days from then.
            Its not yet credited, and received no further communication from them.
            Please help.

              As No Broker company has suggested, I have taken the service for the warehouse ( storage company name : we care for packers and movers ) from April 2021 to October 2022.
              Recently I have shifted to Bangalore and got the Item from the storage.
              I was very much disappointed after receiving the Items. I have got many damaged items.
              The most disappointing thing for me is the damaged TV, which I bought in Aug 2020 at the price of Rs.50000.

              I have all the detailed conversation for taking warehouse service with No Broker. Customer Reference Number: HSPM-1675554.

              I have tried to connect both the company No Broker and We care packers and Movers but all in vain.

                Refund of Token Amount

                As i was carrying out Property Search i opted for NoBroker. I was interested in a Property & showed interest.
                For this without sharing a single legal document they asked to pay 60, 000 INR as Token amount.
                I Paid 60, 000 INR as i was interested. However, when they shared document the meausrement of property mentioned was 750 sqft and over the call with owner or physical meeting with agent they have communicated as 800+ sqft....

                  On Dec21st Dec, i took the bathroom cleaning services and 2 persons came to clean. Out of which one person who was inexperienced, used acid on the new taps (which was installed in Oct'22), I got black stains on the taps.

                  After multiple follow up with the customer care the case was escalated with another person assigned to examine the damage. The expert plumber visited on 27th Dec and he applied some cream on the tape which was damaged due to acid usage during the No broker services taken on 21st Dec.

                  He has clearly mentioned that the black stains are permanent and are irreversible. As I had installed these new taps a couple of months back, a hot and cold mixer blended with T shape (Parryware make) and another tap (Hindware make) for the sink. Please replace both as soon as possible, the damages is around Rs 4850/-

                  Also, the bathroom door stains and the white stains (hard water) are still there on the wall, this needs to be fixed. I had shown the same to your partner today. So, it is redo of the services for one of the bathroom and replacement of the taps in the smaller bathroom and sink is required.

                  Monica from the escalation team of the Nobroker company spoke to me on 27th Dec at around 01:15 pm and asked about the expectation. I have clearly mentioned that as the taps are newly installed and damage has happened with your services, the below taps needs to be replaced with a new one.

                  Please ensure to get the new taps fixed ASAP and confirm a date when this would be done. No response from the company as to when this issue would be fixed.

                    I paid Rs. 2000 deposit for one of PG they are asking for more Rs. 8099/- but they havent shown the rooms yet. Owner details mentioned on No broker site is [protected]. its a fraud happened to me. i denied to pay 8099 as i havent visited the site yet and i lost faith now. So he is not returning my money back and saying that its system rule if i pay 8099 only then 2000 already paid will be refunded. this seems to be fishy and suspicious to me.

                      Hi,

                      I took the property management services of no broker for my flat in Bangalore.
                      My tenant moved into the flat on 11th December, but I am yet to receive the deposit amount and the 1st month rent.
                      Every time I send an email to the property manager Shiksha, I get a standard reply that the transfer would be done on next Monday or Wednesday.
                      I am really tired of following up to get my own money from nobroker.
                      And this is the 1st month of the service.

                        This happened to me on 2nd of January, 2023.
                        I paid 7038.82 via gpay today to put an ad for my property in Andheri East.
                        The ad got deactivated and now they are saying cause of some technical issue the no broker account is inactive.
                        Now they are saying i cant even get refund on the payment.

                          Through no broker we got a rental house duagr estate ambattur on 18th june2022. Before we enter the house we pay the deposit amount, one month maintenance amount, and half month pre rent amount. In that time owner didn't clean and paint that house. in our own money we clean the house. Once we enter the house its have lot of problems. owner and nobroker no one rectify the issues. Finally we decide to vacate the house. but no broker told me we need to say 6 months otherwise you need to pay one month rent. so that we are vacate the house on 30th nov 2022.3 months prior we inform to owner and no broker. but no one come to that day of leaving. After that we only write a mail to no broker. Today 2nd Jan 2023 till now we didn't know about our settlement about status

                            We booked 3bhk apartment and made a token advance rs:5000 and we accepted and requested move in date on Dec 14 And on dec 14 we tryed to reach rahul christopher property manager to move our property with ready cash in hand on dec 14.But rahul christopher did not attend the call.we made multiple mail on that day no response on that day.next day he reached us and said i was in a leave .so the fault is from your side .he has to assign to someone the work that has to be done on dec 14.

                            And eventhough after a conversation he made delay for more than 2 to 3 days .

                            As a manager he has to reach us and ask for issues and further moving details there was plenty of delay

                            And also no one from no broker side has explained your policy regarding that if we pay token advance it will not be refunded to us.

                            We have all record and mails

                            We also have records and mail that their team guy nilavazhagan accepted the issues is from rahul christopher side.

                            So please consider the issues and respond accordingly.

                            If the solution is not going to be done we are ready to file a compliant on nobroker, rahul christopher and their team regarding civil offences of these issue.

                            Rahul Christopher is a cheater. already we also go to the rental house through nobroker. that house we face lot of problems. so we vacate the house on No30th. till now we didnt get our settlement amount. In my suggestion don't use nonbroker. And no one don't go to the hose located Ambattur Dugar estate, house owner Anand. Flat no C Block 105. That house owner and Rahul Christopher joined together and cheated. Nobroker always support house owners only. they cheated Tenants
                            Hi Seiyad, since deposit was not paid neither you were ready to give the company ID or offer letter as salaried working professionals details with us. Hence, we won't be able to refund the token amount.

                              What happened to me regarding NoBroker Packers and Movers service is the worst a customer can experience. I live in Hyderabad and have requested for shifting from Mehdipatnam to Ghatkesar. We are a family of 4 people; my mother, myself, my wife, and a one year old daughter. I have booked the appointment 3 weeks prior to the date of shifting and scheduled it on a working day, Friday. I made the advance payment, got all the mail confirmations about the movement manager, everything went fine till here.
                              Two days before shifting, I've tried to call the movement manager just for confirmation of the schedule but no one answered. Called the customer care immediately and they assured me that the team will reach us on time. Before the day of shifting, I've uninstalled and dismantled most of my furniture and electronic items including beds, water purifier, ceiling fans, etc.
                              On the day of shifting, I'm expecting a call from the movers but no one called even at 10am. I've called the movement manager and again no one answered. I've called the customer care and they replied me to wait for few more mins and if nobody shows up send a mail to the grievances team. I've waited till 11 and finally sent the mail. Got the response from grievances team with in 5 mins. The representative asked to give some time to look into the issue and I agreed. After half an hour I received the call from the representative, he just told that the movers team are unable to attend the service. I was totally awestruck to hear that and politely asked for any alternatives. To my surprise he just said there are no alternatives and if I agree to cancel the service he'll return the advance amount paid.
                              This felt as if I was taken to the middle of an ocean, thrown into it and asked to find my own way. The reason I chose a service like NoBroker instead of local movers is that I won't be facing these kind of issue but my fears came true and that is exactly what happened. The sheer audacity to convey the message to the customer that the service cannot be done and there are no alternatives too (on the day of shifting, even after doing necessary follow-ups, without prior intimation), this tells everything about the company.
                              Would this have happened in case of movement to another city or on a weekend, then that would have been a dead end for a normal consumer. I have a family to take care of and have made all the arrangements for the movers team so that they can just carry the boxes and items neatly arranged for them. Then this happened. Even after repeatedly explaining my situation to him he just replied by saying a simple sorry to everthing.
                              I'm an average guy like most of the people. We trust the system and expect it to work always. But, when faced with such scenario I couldn't even shout on him because I also understand he's just a guy infront of a computer doing his follow-ups. My rant is towards the organization behind this.
                              If we consult a company for a service they should atleast have some ethics to do the follow-up with their vendors and update the customer whenever required, right? I have called the customer care two days prior to the date of shifting and they just replied by saying my service will be on time. If they had immediately followed-up with their vendor I might have got an update earlier and have made my alternative arrangements for shifting. Even on the day of shifting nobody from NoBroker called me to update the status of my service. I had to call them to address my issue. Finally, we approach such companies because, in case any of such issues happen, they will be having contacts with multiple vendors and if one is not available then they would arrange another vendor for us. But in my case, even that didn't happen. There is no alternative at all.
                              Here comes the trauma one had to face when such thing happens. I had to google about local movers and have to find something. Call my friends and relatives to address my situation and ask them to help me find an alternative. Now these people first taunt us for being careless in choosing such movers and then give us some contact numbers. Had to call every movers and asking for their availablity.
                              Luckily after finding a local mover, I've scheduled an appointment on Monday for extra cost of 15k, had to apply another leave with loss of pay. The food and drinking water are bought from outside. Had to use neighbour's stove to cook food for my infant daughter. Finally, on the day of shifting those guys told they'll come at dawn but came at noon. The entire shifting process ended at midnight 2. On top of that I had to pay 500rs tip for each of the 6 guys in the team, totalling to 18000 for the shifting.
                              This is the price I had to pay and the trauma I had to go through for trusting NoBroker.

                                    Paid 45K rent through nobroker with correct account number. Have proof funds transfer via NEFT on same account number and IFSC and shared the same with Nobroker team.

                                    Transfer is failing from Nobroker to Landlord due to Nobroker's technical issue but still they have refunding the rent amount without refunding "Service Fee" for the service they were not able to provide
