My sister who had been using an iphone which lasted for 6 years and was also sold for Rs 8000 before she upgraded to a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G 128 GB on 04th November 2021.

I was always against her buying this phone as i did not think it would last as long as an iphone or any other regular phone but she said that its a really good phone and got it.

The phone started acting up in June 2022 and would only work when it would connected to a power source and the screen was also getting delaminated around the area where it folds.

She took it to the authorized service center in Ville Parle Prime Mall where the engineer told her that since it was physically damaged it wouldn't be covered under warranty and that there was a huge dent on the hinges whereas there were only minor superficial scratched on the phone which is a normal thing since it is handheld phone device not something you keep a safe that it wont have minor scratches.

She kept following up with Samsung over emails and but they did not pay any heed just sent automated replies on mail no action was taken.

All this while i wasn't aware of this and she did not even tell me about it as i had opposed her buying that phone as i had a feeling that its not a great phone because of the folding technology.

She was using the phone for 5-6 months after june 2022 with it always connected to a power source since Samsung never gave her any support with the warranty.

Just Imagine buying a phone with an MRP of Rs 95, 999 and not being able use it while you are travelling by public transport or out and about as it will always be required to be connected to a power source, otherwise you have to carry a bulky power bank four times the size of your phone just to be able to use your phone.

Since Samsung had left her with no option but to carry multiple chargers for wall sockets car chargers and power bank just to keep the phone on otherwise it would not work.

Recently during Diwali time she had gone to a friends party where she got late, we were very worried and her phone stopped working altogether even if she would connect it to a charger or a power bank or the car charger and we could not reach her and everyone got worried and when she came home we found out that her car got punctured and she was stranded couldn't use any apps or calls to get help and which is why she got even more late.

Upon inquiring about why the phone wasn't working she told me the entire episode that Samsung had denied her warranty support.

I got really agitated since this was a major threat to my sisters safety because the phone will not work when needed.

There are many SOS features on the phone but they can only work if the phone works when you are out and about but Samsung required her to be connected to power source 24/7 since June 2022 to be able to use the phone.

i bought her a new phone the next day as she was going out of station for a friends wedding.

I went to shop where she had purchased the Samsung Z Flip Phone from, the shop keeper said that the service center would open after two days due to festival season so i went back after 2 days, the shop keeper sent a person with me to the service center where we waited for about an hour and then that person left as he had other commitments, and they were again giving me stupid reasons like there is physical damage on the phone, whereas there were minor scratches which is normal and there was not a single scratch on the screen except for the delamination which had started happening in June 2022 which is a manufacturing defect in the product as reported by hundreds o[censored]sers I came across online facing similar issues.

Upon trying to reason with manager and a few hours of talking on the customer care helpline no[protected] about the warranty and the hardship faced by my sister finally the person Mr Pravin who was very considerate and he said that the ASM i.e. Area Service Manager would contact me within 24 hours as they had some protocol that he couldnt contact me right away. Finally the service center manager took the phone submission said maybe if you had come earlier then this problem would be solved in June 2020 itself he was hinting that maybe because she is a girl she wasn't very effective in getting things done, which is very sad as she had tried really hard but they didn't give her any support in fact this phone is a security problem for her as it wont work when needed.

After that i went back to the shop where we bought it from and the shop owner called someone in Samsung and requested them to also do the needful and ask the ASM to call ASAP, the shop keeper tried his best had even sent a person with me to the service center but the service center manager said that Samsung has rejected he cant do anything.

I got no call in 48 Hours also from the ASM so then i decided to call the Samsung Helpline again which my sister also had done but this time they escalated the case to Head Office and later on after a day or two i got a call from one person from the HO who was also not ready to listen had passed a judgement already that the phone is dented and will not be covered under warranty whereas the phone has few minor scratches which is a very normal thing since its a hand held device.
He also said that my sister when she had entered the service center in June 2022 she had connected the phone to a power bank which is not right but then if the phone isn't working what do they expect and i was shocked that they got that minute detail about her visit to the service center in June 2022 but they did not resolve the problem.

Then Later on i got a mail from the same person asking for the bill of the phone which must be updated in their system but yet they asked me for it i sent it over and i also found multiple similar posts on this website where they have denied warranty to customers of the so called premium phone and only after long term time wastage they have given solutions and there is not a single girl or woman whose complaint has been resolved.

In a time when we are talking about equality and UN SDGs this is how a Huge Electronics Brand is treats its customers.

I want them to give my sister a solution in the form of a working phone and Extended Replacement Warranty/Guarantee of at least 2 years along with a hardship compensation as she had suffered for 6 months because of Samsung's Negligence.

over the calls they kept saying again and again that they would not give any free of cost warranty whereas warranty is something which the manufacturer gives and is a defect liability period wherein if any problem arises its covered and my sister has suffered since 6 months despite having bought such an expensive so called premium product of Samsung.

First three pictures attached are of the phone submited by service center to Samsung in June 2022.

The Video is when the Service Center manager was removing the scratch guard in OCT 2022 which they had told her in JUNE was a part of the screen itself.

The last four pictures are the ones which have been taken by the manager to be submitted to Samsung.

Request you to do the needful and make sure the flip fold users get justice as i see many many people who are being harassed by Samsung.

as we can see others are also facing similar issues and this clearly shows that Samsung is just here to make money selling unreliable phones to Indians and and not honour their warranties.
they are also increasing the amount of e waste on the earths surface by making such unreliable phones which dont even last for 6 months in most cases.
If you read one of the comments in videos another woman has have to writeoff the phone because Samsung is not giving warranty support

    It's been 2 month since I have bought my new phone but instill haven't received my exchange bonus. This is looking like a fraud to me.
    I have sent 8-10 mails and yet no results.
    Pls don't fool people by making big promises if you'll don't intend to keep them.

    I don't want another reply saying you are working on it. I want my money credited immediately.

    Appreciate a prompt reply.

      I purchase Samsung S22 Ultra on 10-03-22 vide Samsung Finance Plus (Loan ID- DMI[protected])with a promise from Samsung that i will receive the cashback of Rs.8000/- after successfully making the payment of 3 instalments.
      But even after successfully making the payment of my 3 instalments, I have till date not received any cashback.
      This kind of customer exploitation is not expected from a global company Samsung. It is very surprising that Samsung is causing mental duress on its customers by giving fake and baseless schemes.
      I have also tried connecting with Samsung customer care and Samsung India Sales Head, but all the efforts gone in vain and they have started ignoring my calls/mails.
      I again request you to kindly forward the scheme benefit to me and send Rs.8000/- cashback at the earliest or I will be compelled to file case in the consumer forum for this misdeeds.

        My Order# [protected] for Rs. 2, 21, 000 was cancelled on 11-Sep-2022. I am supposed to receive the refund within 7-10 working days. It has been more than 45 days and despite acceptance about the delay in refund from Samsung’s end, they still cannot assure me of a date as to when I’d receive my refund. I need my money back along with compensation.

          Purchased mob. Model no. F127GLBGINS in Jan 2022 only within Span of 9 months the display has gone, when contacted the customer service they said motherboard is a problem. How within 9 months it is gone?How this mobile got clearance in quality test?????

          Need replacement or it is to be rectified. For the pastime week without my mobile I am undergoing stress and hopping between service centres for repair, need a free replacement o my motherboard.

            Hello all,
            I purchased a Samsung Galaxy M31s phone in october 2020, The official release date of this model is 2020 July 30, which says that it is pretty new and we expect descent updates over first few years. After a recent OS update (security patch update), my phone started freezing and auto-restarting every few minutes. It finally switched off with only logo visible which is not even letting the device to get into bootloader. I went to a nearby Samsung service center (Samsung Service Centre bareilly) and they told me that the motherboard needs to be replaced.
            There were over, at least, 700-800 people with the exact same complaint in the internet and Consumer Complaints forum regrading their phones (all Samsung M-series phones). The update caused the motherboard to fail. I have multiple samsung phones in my home. I got problems with 2 phones recently (both are samsung m30s phones). I paid hell lot of money to get them replaced as service centre's told mother boards need to be changed.
            Please, have a look at the disaster the updates have caused. And kindly provide a free motherboard replacement or refund the amount. BEING A STUDENT(WITH NO EARNING) AND BELONGING TO MIDDLE CLASS FAMILY WITH NOT SO GOOD FINANCIAL CONDITION IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR ME AND MY FAMILY TO GET IT REPLACED It's a blunder done by samsung and expecting customers to pay 9-13k.

                Im using samsung mobile devices since so many years, i purchase samsung galaxy m31, 8gb ram, 128gb storage mobile on 22.10.2020, But suddenly problem started on 21.10.2022 restarting, hanging on samsung logo so i visited samsung authorised service center near chaitanyapuri hyderabad telangana on 22.10.2022 after seeing the mobile he told me that your phone Motherboard has to replace that cost around 8100/- because its not under warranty, i said why should I pay after updating android 12 on september 2022 this issue has came so you have to do free of cost but he refused to do, samsung authorised service centers got the best opportunity to grab the money from us so they dont want to miss, But one thing i want to tell them if we stop buying than no use of samsung authorised service centers they have to shut down, i spoke with samsung customer care toll free no after telling all this, she said this is not a global issue, your mobile is not under warranty so you have to bare 8000/- what nonsense is going on no one is their to appologise, im shocked, well thanks to samsung ceo india for showing your real face, from now onwords im not a buyer of samsung brand, good bye.

                Good evening mam, i spoke with your relevant team member Mr.chandan Pandey on 7th of November 2022 he told me to send pics of mobile after sending 6 different positions of pics front, back, updown, left, right, after wasting 2 days 8th, 9th on 10th he is saying go to service center tell them to diagnose your mobile, i said already visited to service center on 22.10.2022 after doing diagnose he told me your mobile Motherboard has to replace that cost you 8100/- note: Motherboard has to replace; that means Motherboard is not working due to after doing update Android 12 so samsung company is responsible for this not myself but your relevant team member wants me to drill here and there what that means is this the way to handle the customer no sense at all, now i want my money back.

                To the respected sir/madam; indian consumer complaint forum, i am mohd shafique ahmed lodge a complaint against samsung india for not resolving M31 Motherboard automatically hanging, restarting, issue occurs after release of Android 12 (updating) i am unable to use mobile since 21.10.2022, hence new motherboard replacement free of cost or refund money 20499/- but they are failed to do so please take action, i hope you will do justify to me thanks.

                Today visited 2nd time to samsung service centre again they want to confirm is it Motherboard issue or any other but after diagnosing engineer confirmed Motherboard has to replace this auto restart problem comes after updating android 12 but samsung head department is not accepting their fault so they are using tricks, they are not doing any favour to me it's there responsibility to do, plz help me indian consumer complaints forum team.

                  In 2020, we purchased a Samsung washing machine. It has a three-year warranty. It has recently started making a noise while it's running. I've filed a customer service complaint. The engineer arrived and stated that the inside fan was broken. When we asked him to replace the broken part, he stated sincerely that we would have to transport the washing machine to the service center, and they would replace it.

                  My house is about 50 kilometers away from the service center. If we take it to the service center ourselves and return it after repair, it will cost around 5000 rupees. We stated that it is in warranty, so it is Samunsun's responsibility to repair it. He was denied unfairly and left home.

                  Please assist us in escalating this issue to the appropriate parties. Here i have attached my invoice and ticket details for further information.

                    Samsung India was giving advertisements for sale of Phone Samsung 20 FE(5G) on exchange basis for a price of Rs.29, 999. The exchange value was calculated on the basis of phone and exchnage value was refunded. In case of purchase without exchange a rebate of Rs.3000 was paid by HDFC bank. I purchased Samsung S 20 FE (5G) Vide order No.[protected] on the basis of exchange scheme. My old phone A50 was valued for Rs 6540. I received delivery of phone on 2nd October after paying full amount of Rs.29, 999/-, but my old phone has not been collected inspite of repeated calls, and emails. I have paid full amount but not received Exchange value not HDFC CARD benefit of Rs 3000 due to exchange scheme. It''s totally cheating as I purchased phone under the exchange scheme only. Since exchange has not been carried out the new phone may be collected back at the earliest and full amount of Rs 29 999/ returned to me without any further delay. I am fed up of repeated calls and emails but no reply. Everytime I call up Samsung customer service, I am assured of solution within 24 hours but no reply after that. I have been complaining them over phone as well as emails to customer service as well as CEO, Samsung. I have not used this phone. I am senior citizen of 70 year old and can''t afford it. If it''s not sorted out I will be forced to write to consumer redressal forum and consumer court as well as social media and also lodge FIR for cheating under Section Cr.420.

                        I ordered a refrigerator from Samsung.com order Id : [protected] on 17.09.2022 . I received the product and it was damaged. I requested for return and refund of the product. Installation team confirmed the damage and CSR copy send to Samsung through email and the approved it. I got email from samsung that my refund will get with in 7 to 10 working days. Product returned on 02.10.2022.
                        I contacted samsung via email, call or chat countless times but they always says it is under processing and concerned team is working on issue. But till now I didn’t get my refund. Why companies like samsung do this to customer. This is customer harassment.
                        Please initiate my refund.

                          My Order No. [protected] was never delivered by Samsung India and cancelled on 8th Oct 2022. I was supposed to get the refund within 7-10 days. But all my emails to Samsung and calls to their customer care for initiating my refund have gone to thrash. The company is not replying to my emails nor giving me the refund.. I just want my hard earned money back,

                            I have ordered via Samsung shop. Samsung authorized online shopping app. Not third party so Samsung is only to blame.. No response after receiving payment. False promise of installation on 20/10/22 But still TV not delivered.

                              This phone was never dropped nor used in harsh conditions because this was basically my secondary phone, so you can imagine the usage.
                              Just after the update, I observed the pink line so I visited the internet to check like every other person would do.
                              And turns out that the issue was more in the S20 plus phones. So I consulted a few friends who faced the issue and they informed that the problem was the same with their phones too.

                              So checked with some of your employees, they said that they received a circular stating screen replacement was offered as goodwill due to Samsung error.(indirectly)

                              And on request of one of your executive who asked me to drop the phone for repairs at the closest service center, so that they can check and guide me accordingly. When visited the service station the guy incharge straight denies any repairs as he "claims the damages are physical drop damages" so I asked him that does he not know that the frame is aluminium and under atmospheric conditions it tends to oxidise o er a period of time. The guy replies saying the the frame is metal and nothing happens to metal.

                              I was not given any estimate at the service center all I was informed by the call center that the amount was around Rs. 10950/-

                              Can you assure me that there is no oxidation to the material that you'll use in the product?

                              So he also states that he is the final authority to accept or reject the claim. And if you want it repaired under warranty get an approval from anywhere maybe by mail.

                              I am yet to receive a reply to my mail dated 17 September 2022.

                              And a follow-up there after, recent being 20 October 2022.

                              I guess the customer service department is less/not interested to address customer grievances.

                              The service being so pathetic. And careless attitude towards customers.
                              VoC is not taken seriously by Samsung.

                                My name is pranesh vichare and I have ordered one smart Samsung 32 inch tv from Amazon on particular date 29th August 2022 and my location is RATNAGIRI pin no 415613 so instalation was from Samsung care ratnagiri it self
                                That was done on 3rd September 2022

                                Now when the installation technician NAME : ASHWIN PATIL saw my other TV that was not working properly so he asked what happened to this TOSHIBA 47 LED TV
                                So I said it's getting on and off need to repair dp u have any reference
                                So he said yes I can repair and give me the TV i wil chk and I wil let u know the quotation as my MANAGER also knows we repair other brand TV also
                                So I trusted him as he is a SAMSUNG employee so he took TV in his service van I wil attached the pic also and then I was continue calling n following up he was giving reasons or not picking up the calls so its been a month I fed up and called continuously he answered and said TV wil not be repairable
                                I was in shock that why he took so much days to tell this
                                So I told him u give TV to my repair person that is ULHAS AGENCIES the owner is dear friend so he can check

                                And fev days back Mr pralhad from ulhas agencies called and said TV cables and ic is fused it's wires also not there inside he send me photos as well that I wil share below

                                One thing is cleared in mind that
                                AHSWIN PATIL
                                has done this intentionally he took all good parts and given TV in non-repaiarable

                                Samsung care ratnagiri employees and managers are involved in this so

                                I REQUEST SAMSUNG INDIA TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AND GIVE MY TV BACK IN WORKING CONDITION AND FIRE THE CURRIPTED EMPLOYEES RIGHT AWAY I WILL SHARE THE NUMBER OF ASHVIN PATIL TOO

                                I WANT MY TV AS SOON AS POSSIBLE OR I WIL FILE A LEGAL POLICE FRAUD COMPLAINT AGAINST SAMSUNG INDIA VERY SOON

                                  Bought Samsung Galaxy M31s before 24 months. My phone has recently begun to freeze and then restart. This occurs so frequently that I can no longer use my phone properly. I checked some Samsung community forums and found the same problem posted by many other people there, and Samsung has yet to issue a statement on how they intend to resolve this issue. Because so many of their users are experiencing the same problem, they should investigate the matter.
                                  Samsung service center is asking for 8000 INR to replace the mother board,
                                  I won't ever be buying another Samsung phone again and advice others the same.

                                    Samsung mobile A and M series are defective and have motherboard issues which will stop working before 15 months from your buy date. This is common problem for all these mobiles. You can visit Samsung official complaint site and check.

                                    I am facing this issue for second time now, initially it was for my A50S motherboard stopped working and they were asking for motherboard replace which is unrepairable as per them.

                                    Now I am facing issue with Galaxy M12 and after the warranty period got over my device display went off. I visited official customer care there and they said its motherboard is damaged so I need to replace it. The cost of a motherboard is around 5k which I believe is for no reason customer have to pay for faulty/defective handsets.
                                    This is a full company manufacturing fault and Samsung is responsible.

                                    I would request the forum to look into this matter and other similar matters and make innocent customers aware about they getting fooled by Samsung also request all to stop using Samsung mobiles.

                                        It's already been 3 weeks and Samsung only asked me my email or phone number, which I provided almost instantly.
                                        And even after nearly 4 weeks since then, I haven't hear anything from Samsung.
                                        This is outrageous. Are you all taking us for granted?
                                        I won't ever be buying another Samsung phone again and advice others the same.
