sonyericsson - G900 — replacement of other handset

Dear sir, I have been using 'SONY ERICSSON' Model mobile for past 5years. I love to use SONY ERICSSON mobile. Even I too also recommended to some models. I have been purchased two Brand New 'SONY ERICSSON' Mobiles, on[protected] at 'POORVIKA MOBILES' THIRUVOTTIYUR, CHENNAI - 19. SHOP MANAGER : Mr..AnandMobile No : +91-[protected]. (1) G - 900 model price - Rs 19750 / (2) R - 300 model price - Rs 3450 / (As of now I am satisfy with R - 300 model mobile) G - 900 mobile having number of problems and I am really struggling with this hand set. I purchased on 19/10/08, and I used only 25 days, while I had problem on those days and I informed to the shop Manager several times. Atlast I handed over my mobile to the Shop Manager on 10/12/08. Still now (16/01/09 ) I am not getting any relevant feedback about my mobile. And I visit 8 -10 times No Responses from shop Manager. I am losing lot of business orders due to this mobile problem. I am not satisfy with this handset.So kindly replace the other model or refund my money. Kindly take necessary action. Kindly reply as early as... I listed some of the major problem affected to my mobile are, The problems: 1) VERY LOW BATTERY BACKUP. 2) HIGH LEVEL BATTERY DISCHARGING 3) NETWORK TOWER SIGNAL NOT RECIEVING PROPERLY.4) LCD TOUCH SCREEN NOT WORKING5) NO SOUND EFFECT6) MOTHER BOARD PROBLEM AND HANGING WHILE IN USE.7) POOR PICTURE QUALITY OF CAMERA AND VIDEO Mobile Reference : Battery No : 8522 IMEI No : [protected] Note : Kindly take necessary action otherwise I will proceed legally.

I am facing the same problem. I bought my G900 in November'08. The phone was dead in February. I gave it to Shrishti services, Domlur, Bangalore. I was told that I would get the handset back in a week's time. I had to wait for more than a month's time only to be told that there was a problem with the motherboard and I haven't yet got my handset back. Time only can get my G900 back . I regret for buying a Sony Ericsson G900.

Please collect your handset and get it serviced by Accel electronics in Greames road(corner building of the lane that gets to Apollo hospital in chennai). I faced the same problem as soon as i bought this model, then couple of month later the system failed to get connected - Gave it to Iconet in Adyar, covered the warranty and got it serviced in 3 days time. last week there was some problem with the touch screen, when enquired i was directed to Accel electronics since they are the only team handling sonyericsson services todate. Gave it for service and got it serviced in 3 days time. Trusted Sonyericsson to fall in to G900, cant help it lets find the best service centre to help each other.


Hope your problem gets resolved at the earliest.

Note:
Pls take the mobile to Accel before it ends the warranty period.

This phone is a total piece of (G900). its the worst phn i've ever used and all the credit goes to so called Sony Ericsson for manufacturing so awful product.
Not only this, A customer is paying these people by purchasing a cellphone for 15-20, 000Rs and these people are exploiting them in-spite of giving services.
they are unable to get rid off the faults in this phone and not even they agree to replace this phn. I am facing same kind of situaton from last 2 months.
I am so disoppointed not only by this phone but also with after sales services of Sony Ericsson.
Now I've been forced to send a LEGAL NOTICE to these greedy and un-fair traders as they are not replacing my phn. and I will definately drag these people to consumer court if required.
I will not by any Sony Ericsson phn in future neither recommend anyone as unlike this company other companies like NOKIA had taken all its faulty batteries back from the market coz they people care for there repo n gud will, but sony ericsson does'nt seems 2b so>>>

My handset K810i is not working properly. First of all I am not able to take snaps and they are not saving, not even see my stored pictures in Camera Album when I open Camera Album then it says "No File". Secondly I m not able to see last dialed received or missed call, not even received msg. I don't know where they are saving in my phone. TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERNED

Now I don’t know whether I should write this letter in German or Xhosa/ in English so that you could understand clearly because this is my second letter.

I need a new phone I don’t want this scrap any more. It’s for the seventh time now sending it for repairs still giving same problems and more. I will attach the first letter as well. Each and very time it comes back with report of there’s nothing wrong with the phone format memory card and phone or system upgraded.

Do me this favour take this phone and use it personally (daily) and see if it not going to give you these problems, give it to your wife husband or girl friend. I am sick and tired of it, I don’t enjoy it and I never enjoyed it. Can you believe I still have a nokia and sony ericson that I bought 2004 and 2005 respectively they never gave me any problems.

Faults: (1) It freezes when answering.
(2) When playing music it cuts, does not finish the second song.
(3) Cannot increase music volume, it decreases.
(4) When trying to select any ring tone even factory fitted ring tones, it gives an error massage of
`` VOICE ANSWER WILL NOT WORK WITH RINGTONES OF
THIS TYPE``
Just tell me will you tolerate this for two years with out a proper phone? Mna I can’t anymore.

Sony Ericsson — default handset

i bought sony ericsson handset model w380i on 30 june 2008.the display goes off on 10 july 2008, after 10 days.from that day it is at the service center.they say they don't have display.if they don't have display why they are not replacing my handset.need some support from you.

I bought a Sony ericsson G502 on 26th April 09. I got GPRS activated on the phone. I used it for almost 15 days without any problem. One morning when i switched on my phone. The screen showed the message "Searching" and i could not use any button except the swith on/off button. So i decided to go to the sevice centre at Marble Arch, Alkapuri, Baroda on 23rd May 09. There they told me that the phone needs to be formated as there is virus in the phone.I agreed. They formatted it and my entire data was lost.

After 18 days the simmilar problem occured on the 11th June 09.Again they told me the same thing. I fail to understand if a phone cannot be used with GPRS what is the the use of a phone.
I am a Nokia Man and i have used N numbers of Nokia handsets, but there has never been a problem like this in the phones. I thought let me try a Sony Ericcson once. Now i regret why i chose sony ericsson. Moreover a working man like me hardly gets time to reach your service centre which runs from 10:00 am to 06:00 pm.

I wanted to develop my loyalty towards Sony Ericsson however my first exprience with the company is very unpleasant, leaving me with no option but to get rid of this phone once it is re formatted.

I would never recommend anyone for a Sony Ericsson.

I took the phone last year in October model no - 580i but after 20 days only i started having problems with it like if someone is calling me i am not able to pick up the phone. it used to happen quite often then again after 1 month another problem came up in which i could not here to the music properly in the headphone and despite the fact everyone knows sony Ericson is famous for music n camera quality but for this i gave my phone servicing it came in 1 week but nothing was resolved it was as it is then i gave my phone in Delhi in green park service center and they charged me 1000 bucks saying moisture has gone in the phone so its my fault but i knew the fact it was nut my fault but since i had to resolve the problem in my phone so so gave them the money the phone worked fine for 20 days again another problem was i was not able 2 charge my phone properly and now my phone is in horrible condition it gets off switched automatically... as sum one calls me it gets switched off . and it is still under warranty ... please i request you to issue a complain against Sony Ericsson ... and help me resolving my problem...

in this email id format yyy denotes the domain. If the sender belongs to any company he will definitely use only the company mail id like [protected]@hcl.com

So i[censored] get any mail just check domain name. i[censored] find it is something other then gmail or yahoo etc.. u can believe 50%.
The next 50% is with its website.

Paste the domain name in google and search. we will get their home page. now u can see whether it suits u or not.

I had purchased a G-700 sony ericsson mobile phone during jan 2009 and with a period of 6 months had to visit the service center 5 times. had to change the touchscreen 2 times and had repaired the phone for software errors thrice. inspite of my several complaints to sony ericsson on their call center no positive responsive reply given by them. 1) Select menu
2)Select games or applications where mxit is saved
3)Highlight mxit
4)Select options (left key)
5)Select settings.
6)Select connection
7)Select options( to create new) or select add
8)Select create new.
9)Under name enter Vlive, hit ok.
10)Make sure Vlive has a black dot next to it.
11)Now choose options and select edit-Vlive
12)Edit Menu:Edit:Name Vlive( it might already be there) hit ok
13) Preffered Connection:Select "PS"
14)Proxy address: Select use and make sure that the yes has a black dot next to it
15)Still in Proxy Menu select -Proxy address- type in 196.006.128.012 then hit ok.

yeah, i got this cam as a gift. i've worked as portrait photographer so i'm familiar with getting the most out of a camera. now i understand this is a point and shoot cam so you can only expect so much but wow, was i disappointed, especially when i heard what it cost.
the design is difficult to handle. actually too slim. yes you can carry it easy but i don't trust handling it without having the lanyard cord around my wrist. the display smudges easy so has hard time recognizing your touch. apparently they come with a pen which i must have tossed, but regardless i think using it defeats the purpose anyway. the lens is so small that it requires alot of light to take any decent pictures. when light levels are low it is nearly impossible to take a steady picture. you have to have rock solid steadiness. none of the pre-sets really help this. i filled my card with images at a concert and ALL of them were garbage (i used every setting possible)! my camera vibrates when i turn it on. only way to stop this is to turn it upside down then bak upright. no idea what this is all about?? i never dropped it or anything. from case to hand, that's it. on that note, if i turn it sideways, it vibrates then to, so every pic is REALLY blurred naturally. the cam says the card is full even after i clear it on the cam itself AND on my laptop. never heard of this happening either and i have delt with numerous mem card issues while working in photo lab. so honestly, i think this camera is an over priced POS.
poor design and terrible technical issues!!! may be fine for someone who just takes snap shots but even then, i see no redeeming value to this thing. i would NOT recommend this cam to ANYONE!!!
i would go for a low end SLR over this any day! a bulky cam is much easier to handle and much more likely to take better pictures (even with fewer MP) and will prob have less tech issues.

hi sir before one month i took the sony cyber shot digi cam model no is, DSC-W210.this digi cam picture quality is same as mobile camera pleaz give any suggestion what can i do...

I am S.Surya doind my 3rd year civil engg in sathyamangalam, but my native is kumbakonam.I bought SONY ERICSSON W302 on 01.12.2008.From the very next day it is a big problem for me with that phone.It started hanging very frequently.I gave for service in my home town itself.They said that there is problem in NETWORK CARD and it would take more than 15 days to replace that.How can i be without cell for such a long time?I need my phone replaced immediately as its not even one month since i bought the phone.I had SONY ERICSSON W200i and my dad is having W810i and so i was impressed with the quality of the company.I need the phone replaced as soon as possible.

I am purchased w302. I am very excited when I buy this phone but when use this phone i am very disappointed.i am total pocket money spend on this phone.There is nothing good feature in this phone.Anyhow I want my phone to be replaced.

Sony Ericsson W302 — deficency in service and replacement of handset

I purchased the mobile(W302) on[protected] from Agra's Big Bazar and since then i am facing problems of frequent hang ups, automatic restarting of the phone and no network time to time which disturbs my communication badly as it bars both my calls and messages making my life miserable. Thrice my mobile has been repaired by authorised service center in past 3 months, still problem pertains. I contatced the sony ericsson's customer care service, again they are asking me to deposit my handset with them. It taken them on an average 15 days to return my handset back. Till that time i have to suffer. No proper response is given by sony ericsson to me for Why this problem is occurring again and again.

Complaints faced more than frequently:
Specifically for my mobile:
1. Gets hung
2. Gets switched off but turns back on only at its will
3. Network goes on & off which proved seamless with other sets with same SIM
Generally faced for this model (i believe):
1. Terrifically disappointing sound effect tarnishing the image of Sony ericson
2. Poor technology to draft a message
3. Messy key pads

I bought this on January 1st 2009 for RS.7600/-. I started realizing all the above problems right from the third day of purchase. I struggled and suffered all these days and i met a few guys with same trouble and they too were cursing the company which must not be happening.
Let it not do wonders for what i paid (though it does not do justice for money) but i expect it at least to satisfy the purpose of a cell phone!

I had approached the dealer (S V communications, East end circle, J P Nagar 3rd Phase, next to HDFC ATM, Bangalore-76) the very next week. This guy directed me to the service centre (the very next week of the purchase of a brand new cell!) and coldly offered an exchange with any other cell. And the value of this one was fixed at 3000.00 on the next week and was describing sheepishly about the short comings and drastically falling price of W302.

Is sony ericson going to dwell on with just doing poor service on this phone to keep the mouths shut? (like just changing the speaker or changing battery which never helps but was done for my friends who are using the same model)
Why don't they accept the mistake and compensate which will only add on to their professional ethics. This is nothing less than NEGATIVE MARKETING.
I expect Sony ericson to compensate for this or replace with another set (of course not the same).

Sony Reicssion W302 — Bad Service

i bought my sony ericssion W302 6 months back.but from the last month i had a problem in battery bacjup problem,so i gave the mobile for service,but after servicing i am facing so many proble .i service my cell at accel service center in madurai.my battery backup is also not good,momery card accessing time is long,un recongnized language setup.............
