A new Z-series laptop purchased in October 2008 went blink end-Jan 2009. It was given to the Sony Collection center in Lajpat Nagar on 02 Feb. They diagnosed it as a hard disk problem and returned the laptop and hard disk separately for data recovery as they dont provide this service. A search around town revealed that no one knew how to recover data from this hard disk (a Toshiba SATA 320GB) due to non-availability of some "kit". Sony said they will provide a new hard disk for Rs 22, 000/- if I did not want to return the old one. Since the laptop was just 3 months old, I returned the disk (without data recovery) on 12 Feb.

On 16 Feb, when checking with their 66006600 customer care, I was told that the laptop was ready for collection. I went to the collection center on 21 Feb only to be told that the laptop was ready but cannot be collected as the hard disk had not been replaced. Their reason - since I returned the defective disk on 12 Feb, the new disk could not be flown in from Japan. In other words - Sony India did not stock hard disks for the new Z-series laptops costing 124k a piece in India!

If you are thinking of buying a laptop in India - my suggestion is that you look at someone with a better service record than Sony India. If you expect to be getting better after sales service because you paid a premium for a Sony laptop, you can kiss your sanity, money, laptop and time goodbye.

Sir, I purchased a sony T77 cybershot camera on 03/09/2009.After that on 07/06/2009 I make a request to customer care for a free demo.Your representtative told me that your engineer will come possitively within next two working days.But within next two days I havent get any service.On 9/06/09 evening again I called you and your customer care executive told me that surely I get this service on 10th before 5 pm.Even I asked him on 11/06/09 (Ph no[protected]n your person told that today Surely I get the demo.But unfotunately your representative have not come.After a demo request 4 working days over but till now I havenot get any kind of service.
Being a reputed company this kind of customer service is never expected from you.

sony snap shot camera — demo

i have purched sony snap shot camera from hans electronics camp pune on[protected] from that day
any one of the dealer or company has not contact us for newly purchased camera for demo.
i didn't know the co.responsilbility is over after the product is sale.
I bought a Home theatre for 30000 and after 6 months it is not working. After going around to customer care for 2 months they said it would cost around 27000 to repair the HT. Can u believe this? It’s seriously my big mistake to purchase Sony product. I’m always frustrated because of Sony HT. No thanks to Sony.

I have purchased Sony Video Player – Model No. NWZ-E435F/E436F/E438F on 20th Feb, 2008 through my friend in US (now he is in UK). See the below attached mail for the purchase details in US. The player worked previously well and good and I used to charge via system USB cable. That cable too came along with the product. Now when I connect the USB cable it displays message as “USB device cannot be recognized”. So its not all detected and wont charge at all… I tried resetting the player also, but its not working…I directly went and asked the SONY customer service centre in Adayar, Chennai about this issue. They replied that the main board has gone and I have to replace the board for Rs 4000. For this price of repairing, I can buy a new one.

This is to make it to your kind attention that either replace my SONY video player with the new one or give back my money.

So i gave my mobile to the service station situated at peelemedu of Coimbatore. But still I have complaints in my mobile..so l like to have a replacement for my mobile. I have the service bills. then i have asked for key pad replacement on my last service i.e on september 3 rd. they said that there is no stock.and my friend have paid an advance for the full panel set for k550 on last month.still there is no proper from the service station.. i need a quick response.Or else i would like to file a case on consumer court for improper customer service...

I have sony music system HCD-RV20S no 536553 deposited for repair on 04 Nov 2009 at authorized sony service centre M/s HIMTECH Electronics Neal Bhawan, Opp Mehta Petrol Pump Sanjauli, Shimla 171006 (HP) but till date it has not been repaired. i have contacted local sony service station for this but no satisfactory answer
now i want the whole replacement of the lcd
what i should do
SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM, it works for 6 - 7 months correctly with no issues, maximum of 10 months, then is stats the problems. I have got writing problems, i always use sony disks to write Datas. When we go the dealer shops to ask about the services of sony, they will say sony servicing are too bad, if you got the problem within the warrenty period then they will look. Otherwise they wont!!! My SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is only 18 months old. Now onwards i suggest to every one, not to buy SONY DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM. They only got a good brand names, the other things are really bad. Buy some other burnner. If you ask to the dealers also, they will say Sony DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM is good, but buy other other DVD RW, DVD/CD ROM thats good for you. What is this means?
Uneducated Executives in SONY

This happened in October-2009 (Diwali Time). When I purchased a High End digital camera (DSC-HX1) from SONY World Shipra Mall, Indira Puram Ghaziabad, the executives in the showroom promise me for a demonstration on the Digital Camera on the very next day.
Even I got the call from the SONY that we will provide you the demonstration on the DSC-HX1 (after two day of purchase), but which never really happens.

When i send a mail to the customer care, i got an acknowledgment mail after one day and they were saying that we don't provide demonstration on digital cameras and i also got an call from customer care[protected] and the executives was not interested to listen to my problem.
The behavior of executive was so rude like it seems that they have never attend any KINTER GARTEN and talk like an illiterate one.SONY is spending so much money for promoting its products, making ads with highly paid Models, i don't know why don't they hire some educated customer care executives who have manners, ethics, etiquettes, patience to talk to their valued customers.

I purchased DSC-HX1 camera, SONY was no way near to compromise on the price and I haven’t got discount of a single rupees and spend INR 29800 but everybody assures me that SONY neither compromise on price nor on Services, but now is totally is a different story.

So being a valued customer it is really a harsh experience for and I never recommend anybody for SONY as there are other players in the market which provides very good services unlike SONY and with reasonable price.

we have placed an order under DUSSERA FESTIVAL OFFER for KDL HX800-46" LED TV with an offer announced by you (speaker bar with woofers, 3D frames=2, DVD'S 9no, 3D BLUE RAY DVD) the cost of Rs.1, 40, 000/- promised the above offer and delivery will be in 10days. I paid as advance Rs.70, 000/- to SONY CENTER, SUN TRADING & MARKETING SERVICES, VIJAYAWADA copy of receipt is enclosed for your information.

After 10 days we remained the dealer for consignment and they postphoned for another 10days. on 29th oct we demanded our consignment, they said that the TV is ready but handover the product with out speaker bar and woofer OR ready to refund the advance. so i request you justfy and get the TV with offer items as for agreement with dealer.

I bought one LCD-TV Two years back[protected]MODEL NO. KLV -32V400A SERIAL NO . 1224484. I got some problem that is some negative picture are found while running the television. When I contacted the Sony dealer they send one service Engineer .He checked the LCD-TV and taken some photos (i.e.Displaying Negative picture & Serial No.)He suggested that LCD Control panel has some problem.
He told after receiving the parts from Singapore he will make the call to us that it cost Rs 11, 000(spare & service charge) approx and he told that they will change the control panel & the LCD Screen completely. I feel the screen is in good condition . But they are telling may be it will good but they will change both the screen and panel as per Sony technical rules

Dear Sir,

This is in connection to my complain no.[protected],[protected] and several telephonic conversation.

Let me make clear the following few things.


I purchased a Sony 5.1 system id no SAID 5000 ME 19 serial no 330699 on 05.03.20111.

It develpoed a problem on 03.04.2011 & it did notwork.

I enquired through your site about availability of service center. A mail received by me on 04.04.2011 stating that there is no service center in SAMBALPUR(ODISHA)..

Then I received a call from your Customer Care Center on 05.04.2011. They advised me to bring the product to Rourkela or Bhubaneswar.

Anoyed with the service I took up the matter with the vendor. To my utter surprise my vendor confirmed me that ther is a service center is Sambalpur. He took the product and deposited it with M/S. Balaji Service, Sambalpur on 06.04.2011.The Service Center told me that the AMP BOARD TO be replaced.

After a lot of follow up and calls I could get my system on 10.05.2011 vide job no WS[protected].

I again made a mail to check the authenticity of the service center on 10.05.2011. and warranty to be extended by the period As the product was there in service center for more than a month.

I received a call on the same date with two cotradictory message.
a) There is no service center at Sambalpur.
b) The job no is a valid Sony Job no.
&
c) The warranty will not be extended.

I then argue can a service center keep a product as long as they wish. unfortunately the fellow who was making the call told me that service center can keep it for any period. Again when I insisted about the authenticity of the service center he told me that they will make me a call. Since I was verry much annoyed with the quality of service by such a big brand I even told him not to disturb me on my phone instead mail me. So that I can show it in consumer court.


Today i.e. on 11.05.2011 again I received a call from the same person. This time he confirm that there is a service center named Balaji Serivce in Sambalpur. But erogantly shows his inability to extend the waranty period. When I asked him contact no of higher official he handed over me the same telephone no from which he made the call.

I am extremely sorry to mention here that such a poor standard of service from such a huge organisation is mentained. I would like to mention here that if my case is not properly dealt with I will be forced to take shelter of Consumer Court.

    I have submitted my headset to the nearest service centre on 9-1-2009. But still they are saying that company dont have stock of these accessory and they informed me raise a complaint. So please help me in this regard.

    Hi,
    I have purchased Handsfree for my w550i at a mobile store model HPM-75. After few months i ve experienced some problems in one of the earphones and i gave for replacement at Accel frontline chennai. Fifteen days passed and when i went to collect my handsfree back, they have given me with another model handsfree (Model HPM-70 that comes usualy with walkman series phones, cheap look, quality and lower performance) and they were convincing me saying that both the models are the same in performance and that was the model they have got back in replacement for my handsfree. My handsfree is worth Rs 1500/-, looks good, better quality in bass and the replaced one looks like crap.

    Is there any use of posting complaints here? Can there be any action taken on them. Not just for my handsfree, there were many people complaining about their replacemets.

    actually i also have the same handsfree hpm-62 but its broken now. i went to the sony centre but they are telling that company has stopped manufactuiring this product no. they are sujjesting me to take hpm-64, but its sound quality is not that as it was in my previous one.

      I bought a mewly launched Sony Ericsson T700 mobile phone on 07.11.08 and it started malfuncioning within 20 - 25 days from the date of purchase. I went up to the service centre (CARIANO TELECOM, ROOP NAGAR, DELHI) and they diagnosed the handset and concluded that the Ringer was faulty and nedded to be replaced. Then they checked up with the stocks and told that the part is not readily available. I was advised to keep the handset with me and use it in vibration mode and as soon as the ringer would be available, I would be informed over phone and then I would visit the service center and get my handset repaired. I agreed. But days went by and there was no response. I contacted through phone but the same reply was repeated time and time again.

      Finally on 26.12.09 I walked up to the service centre and compelled them to keep my phone and give me a job sheet as otherwise I was just wasting time and did not have any evidence that my phone was malfunctioing. Even thenn I was told that the ringer would be made available in a weeks time and my phone would be repaired. Now instead of seven days, seven weeks have passed but no positive reply. The service center people never bothered to call and update the status.

      In the mean time I logged on to their website and made a written complaing through mail which was acknowledged by a self generated E Mail. I even logged complaint through the customer care but all invain. Every time we get to talk to a new guy whom we have to explain whole story in detail wasting our time but still the typical careless reply, "Give us 24 working hous", " Give us some time" and so on but not even a single positive reply.

      Follow ups were on everyy frequently but all without any positive result. Suddenly i received a phone call one evening suggesting that my phone was lying ready at the service center and I was not collecting it deliberately. I was advised to visit the service center and collect the same next morning. This came to be the biggest lie when I contacetd the service center next morning. I was again told that my phone was not yet repaired due to unavailability of part. It was really embarrasing situation once again. I called up to the customer care again and querried about this incident, I even gave them the Phone No, from where I received teh call and I was shoked to hear that it was not the number of any sony ericsson service center or office. If we try the no. it always goes engaged.

      Now I again requested them to guide me towards replacement of teh handset and I was told to get in writing on teh job sheet from the service center that my phone is not yet repaired due to unavailability of parts with the company hence it should be replaced, but the service centre clearly denies to give any statemnet in writing. This clearly signifies their honesty in the case otherwise why would thay have a problem in doing so. Now either they have not tried to get the handset repaired or it is all a mixture of mind games being played with the customers. Ultimately the CUSTOMER IS THE SUFFERRER.

      I have tried all means by now but nothing comes out to be fruitful. I have only wasted my precious time and money chasing these people. Also our one number is being used intermittently due to this problem which is giving us lot of problems.

      This is second time I have to chase Sony Ericsson for after sale service and both the times it is a big failure. Earlier I bought W580i which had a network problem in early days itself. I kept on shutteling to service center but nothing was resolved. Finally I sold that handset in local market at big loss and buy a new handset. Now I really repent on buying Sony Mobile phones.

      Second big problem with these companies is they do not disclose any static adress where we can visit or send a written complaint. I have even tried this but no adress was given to me and i was told to follow up through Customer Care or E Mails. I dont really know whether this is authentic or not.

      I am really frustrated with the response and am no longer interested in getting the phone repaired, rather I woul like to get it replace or my money refunded so that I can go with other options and buy some other handset.

      It would be very grateful if I can be helped and my problem sorted out by means of this complaint.
      I too having a similar kind of experience. My phone started malfunctioning soon after 3 months from purchase. I handed over my cell to the nearest authorised customer care and they formatted the entire sw in it and give it bak to me on next day. 2 days after i noticed that one of the key is not even functioning and the camera is functioning automatically. (means camera will comes to On modeautomatically and will tak pics randomly). again i went to the same service centre and they took phone from me. Next day they informed me that, some harware is not functioning and it has to b replaced. I said Ok. coz I dont hav any other option (thank god, these all are happening in warranty period). I got my phone back from them after 25 days. Thats also after creating many problems. Even so I thank god that i got finally my product in a good condition. After a month my phone got formatted automatically. It used to happen very recently. Almost a day per week. There is no chance that a virus can enter my mob. Coz i am not using any mem card in it. I wont send sms or connect internet thru this. Even the camera also i use very rarely.
      Now i am going to demand a new phone from them or else they need to give my money back. I am going to post a complaint on consumer court.
      I have purchase Sony Ericsson T700 Model last 8 month.

      than problem in hang and close mobile.

      please solve the problem.

They make each customer to wait for atleast 30-50 mnts for small query, no manners, they just keep talking to each other, cercastic reply.         Mobile Defective and Bad Service from the sony erricson service centre
        I would like to inform you of my dissatisfaction with the Sony Ericssion P1i mobile phone and the service provided.Since I have bought this phone, it has been working well, until recently it stopped functioning normally. I returned the phone to your customer service(Trident United Products Private Limited Bangalore, Koramangala) on 20th January. The customer service representative informed me that the phone mother-board has to be replaced and they would make the phone ready in 10 days.

        1 Month later, the phone is still not working.I received my phone with the motherboard replaced on Feb 18, Within 2days i had to revisit the service center as the phone started hanging frequently.
        The manager promised me that he will replace it. But now they tell they haven't committed any thing like that

        On each occasion they have kept the phone and apparently worked on it with no luck. Their attempts to resolve the problem have not been satisfactory and they finally claim that there is nothing more they can do to help me.Even the customer care department[protected] wasn't able help me and solve the problem.

        And now they claim that they need 4 more working days to give back my cell. They need 2 months to solve a simple problem.And trust me guys they are meant to make false promises please don't trust them.
        i have given my mobile(sony ericsson W350) two weeks back in univercel show room(saibaba colony branch)for service, had heating problem. they said have to replace mother board but till now i have not got my mobile. No information about when will i get the mobile, very bad service. You have a very bad response. I really dont understand how long will you people take to service a mobile. Really bad service. Ask your people to give my mobile in two days else please return the money. How long can we be without mobile and this is not the first time it always happens with univercell. Worst service. Please take some neccesary action.

        For this already they charge 150 not refundable amount that is for finding the problem...Noce business without doing anything everybody giving like this...

          I have purchased the Sony Home theatre DZ270 on 13/01/2009. After Installing the home theatre I realised that the sound out from the sub woofer is not so perfect. I didnt notice that when the sales man showing demo at showroom with high volume. I made a request to sony to send a good sound engineer to check the system. One of the service staff came and took my system to nearby showroom and checked with another system. When I keenly noticed that the sound output from the other system in the same model also deliver the same output. Finally the service engineer told me that "You will get this much of sound effect from this Model"... Then why they advertise it is Dynamic & Crisp Sound. I dont know the meaning for that. They said the system is perfectly working. I do agree, the system is working but not upto the mark they advertised. Still the problem not been rectified. They are really cheating the consumers.

          sir i have given my sony home theater for repairing on 25/11/2008.
          they have told me a in one week your sony home theater will be repaired.
          but tillnow they are not saying wheather they have did it or not.
          when ever i will call them to ask, they will ask my name, phone number,
          model number, serial number etc.
          after talking all the information they say, they will check and inform me after few minutes.
          but sir till now i have not recieve any responce.
          more than a month happened, but i dont know when there few minute will happened?

            I am an entrepreneur based in Delhi, India. Early last year, I started my 1st venture and along with my partner, I bought an Sony Vaio (VGN CR35G).The main reason for which i bought Sony Vaio was its reliability. I was very happy and excited when I started using Sony Vaio and as expected Vaio design fascinated everyone around me. However, within the first few months, i got auto shut down problem the same with my partner

            Although we were not expecting any more failures, we were not so much worried about any potential failure, Unfortunately, within next few weeks, I lost my address book and contacts due to a sudden data corruption on my Vista. It was a big loss in terms of the time and lost contacts but somehow I survived.

            But, the real horror started after that. One fine day, my partner’s Vaio harddisk suddenly crashed and he lost all the data, except the one’s he had already backed up. The lost was irreparable and huge. Moreover, he wasted many days getting his Vaio hard disk replaced due to false promises and repeated delays on the service center’s front.
            I immediately took complete back up of my data. Although not desired but consistent to my expectations, my machine started showing symptoms of crashing; it started slowing down and hanging up in between. Unexpected Shut down Since I didn’t want to waste more of my time, I called another service center, I mail and called several times. Having discussed the symptoms with them over the phone, I was told that I send my laptop to them and they will rectify it within 2-3 days. The mail which i sent it to them they reply in week or two. After they sent me the reply with some unprofessional question

            Would you people who spent 80 to 85 thousand on a laptop, who wait for that type of services and questions

            Having wasted so much of my time and energy, I was finally expecting the job to be done. At this point, I knew that Vaio service sucks but I didn’t expect them to treat their customers as people on the road. Contrary to my expectations, I didn’t receive any response. I again called them and escalated the complaint to a senior manager.

            At that point I decided to take this route of going through the social media. As part of my organization, I had to work on a critical, 1 week long assignment. So I had to be silent for that period.

              I purchased a Sony Ericsson W 200i 5 months back - Today It says No Access to Network - I am not getting Incoming and not able to make Outgoing calls even though the signal is coming in strong from my Network provider.

              Your authorized service centres - irresponsible uncommitted lots - they are veryk rude and they say that the motherboard has to be replaced which costs around 70 % of the phone cost.

              Wonder why you manufacture and sell phones of this poor quality

              I bought a Sony Ericcson G 700 model in Septemeber 1 2008 in Wave communications, (Waveltel) 131 Karikalan Street, Near St.Thomas Railway Station, Adambakkam Chennai 88 vide Inovice no SRI/AD/3966

              This phone has started giving troubles so soon. I did not expect such a poor quality product from a such a reputed company ( said so ) like yours.

              It is not able to access to the network - I am with Airtel.(Though there is enough strength in the incoming signal the phone is unable to get me incoming calls and outgoing calls) The same sim card i[censored]sed in any other mobile phone is getting the network access.properly- Please revert what is the reason for that.

              When enquired about this problem with your authorized service centres-they are very cool saying that the Mother board / IC has to be replaced which will incur high cost or i[censored]nder guarantee will cost three months for replacement. What will I do without a phone for three months? Will your service centre or your company substitue me with an other phone for use during this period ?

              About your authorized service centres in Chennai - They are not well equipped with proper reception and committed technincal team to respond in a humble tone to customers who are in real pains purchasing your phones

              PIty us and try to get things right with your set up in India to stay put in the Industry.

                  dear sir,

                  i purchased this set (k790i) two months ago, there are lots of problem in the set, listing:
                  1. Camera phots get blurt, the photo get curupted and get mix with other photo.;
                  2. Video also gets currupted.
                  3. The mobile shut down by itself.
                  4. Many songs transferred through bluetooth stuck in between.
                  5. The working of the set is very slow.
                  6. Sometimes the msg comes first and the msg tone comes after sometime.

                  i bought a new sony ericson mobile before 6 months after the first month only i faced problems like my mobile was'nt geting charged and keypad was'nt functioning i gave it to sony service centre it took nearly 20 days for getting my mobile back but later i noticed that one of my two speakers is not functioning from the time when i got back my mobile from service centre
                  after that my previous problem was totaly solved and another problems have started like sometimes i cannot hear voice from the other side and my mobile is not being charged now and one of two speakers is not functioning as i said you above can you replace my mobile with a new one?

                    This is Muneet Gulati, a Senior Software Engineer by profession in Noida, Just wanted to share a quick feedback for poor service response from Sony Ericcson Service Center .

                    I Purchased a Sony Ericsson mobile phone, K850i Model on 12 April '08 (This Year ) which has a warranty period of 1 year and after using it for only 4 months its Touchscreen part stopped working and to my dismay when I aproached Sony Ericcson authorised service center in Dwarka, new Delhi, They dont have any answer and I was even insulted since the owner of service center did nt even come to address me, I could not even think of dealing the Customers by Sony Ericcson in this manner, let alone hearing the problem of the customer,

                    Then I aproached another Service Center in Panchkula, near Chandigarh and that guy also was teling me it will cost you around 4000 if you want it to be repaired by company but I can do on my own in 1500 rupees, Now what was that on one side he was saying from company it will cost 4000 and from his own it will cost 1500, it look like to be a fake service Center .

                    I seriously dont expect this kind of treatment from such a big brand as Sony Ericcson, It will only lead to make the reputation of Sony Ericcson in market to no good . This phone is a very expensive set, I bought it for 20000 rupees and still there is no concern from your side .

                    So Can I please expect someone to quickly look into my problem and get my phone repaired as soon as possible as it is causing a great inconvinience in my day to day activities .

                      i have bought a psp 2004 from sony dealer (rajdhani electronics) hissar (haryana)
                      they told me that this psp plays games on memory stick and umd also. when i put games in the memory stick and try to play it says no games.then i complaint them about it.they take my psp for repairing.but the problem was same. they give that psp and says to download games from soni india site
                      i do this but no game message again. then they buy umd for playing games.i given two games order
                      they said the games will be sent. it was spent 15 days no game was reached me . when i call them asking game umd .they again said that everyone is playing games on memorycard. so you need not umd for playing games go again to soni site & download.it spent 2 month but no solution

                        i have sent a text message for the activation of gprs settings at (MO 52567)and mobile office settings(MO 223 (10 DIGIT PIN NO ON THE GPRS CARD) on 6th of feb 2009, i got 2 confirmation message that your gprs will be activated within 24 hrs and your request has been saved. your mobile office will be activated within 48 hrs,

                        so i again tried to cal 121 than i was told that your service will be activated on 6th feb 2009,
                        when i checked my mobile for internet use i was able to use internet service but charge is aplicable in my main account and i was also trying to cal 121 but they have transferred my cal to computerized service, i was jus fed up of this service, its really cheap. they cant full fill their commitment on time, i just wanna know if they can provide me better service if not please disconnect my connection and return my money.
                        i have also went to airtel office on chauk lucknow but they have not give me solution.

                        I used Mobile Office GPRS Card of Rs. 450/- which is free to use for 30 days. I purchased again Mobile Office Card next time on[protected], I got the settings after 2 days. I connect my mobile to Laptop through bluetooth and start using; but Airtel start charging me from my Account. They charged me Rs. 20; two times, and still it's same. I call 121 several times, but no solution they have. They just say try gprs no, 12133 and complain, but this call is just computerized call, no customer care executive is available there. All the calls to 121 and 12133 are in vain.

                        I don't know why airtel is deducting money from my account, as I have already purchased this card of 450 and it's free to use. And first time when, I have used this card; nothing is charged to me. So, Why this time they are doing this. Plzzzz. resolve my problem ASAP. Hope, Anyone have solution for this...

                          Hi,

                          I bought the mobile in August, 2008. After few months in October, first that Stic on the front panel above the keypad came off and then a panel on receiver side came off and then issues with touch screen. The mobile never fell from my hands.

                          So finally i had to spend Rs 1300 to get entire front panel. Its just 3 days now and again the STIC has come off.

                          What is the need to have a STIC at that place? Its a damm poor design by sony ericson. Really shameful of the company to do this poor designing.

                          Also when there is no damage to the phone, i believe the panel should be covered under warranty or else consumeers will have to pay for their poor designs.

                          This is the fourth handset of SE i am using, and say 8th in my family. We buy SE coz of the great music it provides. But when it come to design, we have to think a lot before selecting one.

                          Sonyericsson/ G900 — Poor service center

                          I am having a lot of trouble getting my G900 serviced from authorized service center. My phone was under warranty & had some problem as the display contrast was changing and the phone was restarting automatically everytime. When handed the phone to, Siri Communications, Khairtabad, Hyderabad, they replaced the display on on Oct 5 2009 for work order#SE309SI111691 (The back cover was damaged by the technicians while repairing the mobile). Again the handset had the same problem in the month of January & the phone was handed over to them for work order #SE310SI110787 on Feb 25 2010 & even this time the display was changed according to them for which I was not convinced. I again had the same problem in the month of March & this time I consulted with another Sonyericsson authorized service center who told that the mother board was faulty. The supervisor from Siri Communications told me that he shall get the mother board replaced & I was provided a manual receipt(The serial number is 3421) & they are saying that there is no stock of motherboard & shall inform when it shall be done. it has been more than 2 months now. I am really fed up of this now. Please help me.

                          I would like to get into your notice that the service provided by the sony ericsson service center are really disappointing the customers with their responce, i have hand over my sony errison mobile in authorized service center(Siri Communications, Khairthabad, Hyderabad) of sony errison model no.w395 the complain no :4294 as the mobile had water damage problem, they promised to give it back in week days and its almost 45 days and there is no news of getting the mobile back yet, when i follow up they still say that the part is not yet available.

                          I assume that this is the delay from the Sony Ercison side, i have used many other mobiles like nokia and the service is excellent.

                          so what exactly do u want me to do???? i hope the required action will be taken as early as possible so that none of the other customers will face such problems. Looking forward for your response on the same.

I had submitted my handset for third & last time after talking with custmor care excutive & senior person of the service centre .when i submitted my mobile for third time they told that it will take two days but after few minuts of submitting my handset there & stepping out of the centre i got a message from service centre that my handset is ready for delivery .so pl.do needfull action

                            I had purchased a mobile in oct2008, after 10 to 20 days mobile is getting hang & network problem. I had gone to service centre of this company in sakinaka . They had taken 20 days for repair but problem is as like that.I had gone for two times there & both time they kept the phone for repair for more than 20 days .But problem is not solved

                                I sent an email to sony ericsson for a replacement of the handset S302. However I had to wait for their reply for couple of days. I had to chase them couple of times and lastly, the answer is that the set cannot be replaced. I bought the set S302 on 30/11/08 and complained on 4/12/08. Never got a reply.

                                I would want to register a complain and no body is ready to accept it. I have called the support team several times today and contacted the helpdesk and the customer care teams. They easily redirect me to eachother when I ask them to register the complain..

                                Also the call gets disconnected when I am on line with them and they do not bother to call back when they have taken down my number in the begining of teh call.

                                Could you please help me with this. I would want this escalated and want some little customer service provided.
                                1. The sound quality of the phone is very poor. I never expected this from Sony Ericson.
                                2. Phone is getting heated when game played or spoken for long. I can understand if this happens with any non-branded items.
                                3. The phone is considered to be a snapshot one, however the photo clarity is also sad.

                                I dont understand how this phone was released, when it has so many defects. Could you plesae escalate this issue and give me a solution. If in case I do not get a proper response, I will have to register a complait in teh Consuler forum as I am so helpless.

                                S302 — Not functioning properly

                                I bought sony ericsson S302 mob in global acess 1 week before, bangalore.
                                i am facing many problems while using this mob
                                *getting heated up if we use continously for 10 min
                                *poor picture quality if we take picture
                                *very very slow processing speed
                                *rear panel loose fit
                                *sound clarity is not good etc etc...

                                I never expected this type of mob from sony ericsson *china set worth rs2000 is best compared this mob.
                                I am not satisfied by the performance of the S302 mob.

                                I[censored] buy back i am ready give back to you to whatever cost you say or any exchange to replace this mob.

                                hi!! this is Samuel.I had once bought a S302 sony ericson model set . I was pleased seeing it with its looks..but on using it on and on i came to know that it had got a lots of defects. i was totally upset with it.. i just want ericson to look towards the matter.. whats the use of such defected mobiles into use with such a wastage of money.. it makes no sense for costumers to buy it. and it also makes no sense to launch such a mobile..

                                My phone: K750i. Occasionally the phone gets switched off while attending a call, with battery charge more than 90%. What can I do?

                                SONYERICSSON MOBILE PHONE — DEFECTIVE HANDSET

                                I bought a Sony Ericsson SPIRO hand set from Univer Cell, Nagercoil on Nov 20th, 2010 .
                                Due to some manufacturing defects I am unable to send SMS.Always out of memory message is coming.
                                UniverCell people sold a defetive set to me and now they are telling we will not change the set . 4/5 times I went there every time they did a minor repair only.
                                Question is how many times I will go there ? and why they do not change the set ?
                                Last thing is this complain effective ?

                                  Hi,

                                  As per your advice I had submitted my phone to your service centre - Accel Frontline Limited (Sagar Tech Plaza- B wing, Unit no. 2 &3, Andheri -Kurla Rd., Sakinaka, Andheri East. 40993000/1/2/3).

                                  The details of the same are as follows -

                                  Phone Model W810i
                                  Phone submitted on 27 January, 2009
                                  Problems - Not reading the external memory card, bluetooth connection not working for handsfree device
                                  Phone returned on 6 February, 2009
                                  Call no. 109533

                                  My handset was returned to me without any repairing. They have written that they had tried to see if there were connector problems but there was no improvement and they have cited the problem as Motherboard problem. They write it as "RF Problem". They charged a service fee of Rs 225 from me.

                                  I asked them if they could fix my motherboard and repair my phone. They answered that motherboard problems can be solved only under warranty and after that nothing can be done. I was willing to pay for it and get it fixed but they said that it cannot be done.

                                  Now, I had bought this phone for Rs 13, 750 less than two years ago. I had bought this phone for the music, the camera and other functionalities like bluetooth etc. Now less than two years have passed and none of these things are there. I am wondering why did I spend some much money on Sony if it had to go bad in less than two years. My phone is worth not even one thousand Rupees. My phone has become useless for music, camera and bluetooth.


                                  Now, I had earlier pointed out the calluos attitude of your service centre guys. At the counter, I came across a lot of customers whose phones were not repaired and the reason that was cited was the same - Motheboard problem. I feel very strongly that Accel guys simple charge service fees and dont repair or try hard to repair the phone. The reason being that they would not get anything extra, the extra cost of parts does not (presumably) go into their pockets. So they are least bothered. Have you got data about the number of phone which are not repaired because of "Motherboard problems". Kindly provide me with the same.


                                  Now, if Sony doesn't own up for its phone, if its authorised service centre does not repair the phone what is the customer supposed to do. What do I do now? If you can't even support your product for even two years then why are you putting such a product in the market. If the phone is repairable during the warranty period what makes it unrepairable after that?


                                  I would like to get my money back from Sony because they sold me a multimedia phone and it went bad in less than two years and they are not supporting it anymore.


                                  I would also like you to look into the rampant corruption in your service centres where the sole objective seems to collect the service charges and harass the customers.


                                  I wish to escalate this matter to the highest authorities. I had followed your advice and given my phone to your service centre. Kindly reply immediately.

                                    I bought a DSC- S650 Cyber shot camera from the Sony Dealer S L Electronics Kalina, Mumbai on the 30th of Oct, 2007.I have used very rarely in entire year. Suddenly camera had been not starting. This has spoiled my entire picnic.

                                    I have been to Sony Dealer S L Electronics Kalina to show what happen but i am really shocked they are not ready to see a camera. They had guided me to go to Atria Worli to show camera. When i ve reached to Sony at atria they are guided me to go to Aandheri.I really frustrated am running from here to there from last 15 days. Is this is your service standard?????? I can not accept this from such a international company's had paid 9, 000 cash I am feeling cheated I think I have done mistake by taking camera from Sony.


                                    Now I want replacement of this product. Please see my situation by keeping your self at same position.

                                      on thrusday i went to service centre for checking what is the problem.
                                      the centre is at Anna Nagar, Chennai and the contact person is Mr.Ranganathan, Mobile:[protected],

                                      Vimas intek, No:177(New no:3), Y-Block, 1st street, (Near Iyappan Temple), Anna Nagar, Chennai-600040.
                                      He told me some flux problem in my mobile and told me to bring the bill for replacement of mother board which he has done in the month of Dec-08.
                                      How can this happen if the mother board is proper? as it is new
                                      y cant u give us proper solutions?
                                      Pls remember that we are really feedup in following the service centre guys for the complaints in Sony Ericsson mobile.

                                      If this problems occur after 1 month i wil have to spare for all parts replacement and problems.

                                      I request u to get me proper solution for this by replacing my mobile r by extending my mobile warranty to another 1 yr.

                                      Pls lookup the matter very much urgently and get me a good decision.
                                      dont want a temporary solution.Need a permanent solution for this.

I don't know how was it given approval.i had brought it on 14th of September, 2008, but after few months it started to give trouble and its low volume gave me no pleasure for my Rs.7, 000.when i had brought the phone i was in ahmedabad.My phone was totally discharged, but when i plugged my charger in it did not start.I had taken care of my phone right from start as it it seems very delicate and protected it from all sorts of danger, even water.As my phone did not started, i went my nearest service centre in cannaught, cidco, aurngabad.The unmannered staff told me that its warranty is over though its ony 4 months old because there is water damage.i gave it for checking. Few days later the told that its display has gone and i will be charged Rs.1600+tax.I question why should i pay when there is no fault of me.It may be a way of earning money but i m suffering by being a customer of sony ericsson.Also due its poor quality the flap is starting to break.& again a kick from sony...as no warranty will be given. I want u to take this seriously as i cannot afford to buy and repair new mobiles everytime just because your attractive product has poor quality and built.I hope my complaint is taken utmost care and my mobile is replaced wiyh a new one or yhat its repaired within warranty.Please look forward to it and prove ur service is not as i have come across.
