hai sir, last one month i cant view any channel include info channel also but they take money only, last week i complained to customer care for activate view channel.last 4 days i contacted customer via, mobile and chat but no use, till now i cant view any channel in my TV i view black blank screen only, , i request you to please take this compliant, my name is manickam, registered mobile no:[protected], smart card no:[protected], last week customer said that please wait 24 hours for solve your problem but no use, whenever i spoke with customer they said this only

      i apologize to self that i took a sun direct connection with the smart card [protected] and currently stay in trivandrum. . i think it was because of god's grace, the service worked till last monday 15 sept 2014 . It was then i noticed that i was getting the E06-4 smart card failure message on the screen. Like a normal customer, expecting a decent customer service i contacted the call center. He gave me complaint no 1-[protected] and asked me to wait for 48 hours with rs.150 in hand for the charges for the technician visit. I waited for 5 days and didn't get any call. I contacted the customer care center again on Friday early morning at around 4 am and informed that my previous complaint was closed without even calling me or checking the issue. The rep had only one sentence, " i apologize, i will create another complaint and forward to the technician ". I insisted to have the reason why the complaint was closed by the distributor which he didn't seem to hear or bother to answer, he kept on with his words " i apologize, i will create another complaint and forward to the technician ".i allowed him to create another complaint 1-[protected] and he promised me that they will send a tech within 24 hours. Hence i contacted the customer care again on Saturday at around 6pm, which was after 38 hours. I insisted on speaking to a manager, he said no managers are available and hence connected to a team lead. He was very particular that i should repeat everything that i spoke to the last tech including the smart card number. I did the same. He informed me that i can get the technician only on monday as sunday is a holiday. I said ok and hung up. On Sunday, at 10 pm i received a message saying that my complaint has been resolved, i was shocked to see the message as the so called team leader informed that sunday is a holiday and no technician will be available but the technician closed the ticket on a non working day. i called the customer care again and asked him why the complaint was closed. He transferred me to another guy who told me that his name ajeer khan and he is the supervisor was informed that they will create a complaint and forward to the technician.i got so irritated with that guy that i disconnected the call and called again and created a complaint again. 1-[protected]. today is sunday, 21 sept 2014..its been 7 days since i lost the service to my tv and its all because i chose sun direct.My money is getting deducted for all the days of no service for the company's fault. Giving me a faulty smart card and the worst customer service.Please tell me what else should have been done by me for getting this sorted out. I hardly get time to watch tv on weekdays and weekends are the only time i spend in front of the tv to watch sports and other movies. its all gone.I dont know what needs to be done.Kindly Help!!!

      I had waited for a week with numerous calls to customer care to resolve my issue. with 12 hours of my complaint in this forum had the service lead from Sundirect call and apologize for the delay and had a tech to visit my place and resolve the issue.

        I had the worst of experiences with sun direct dth in terms of customer service. I had complained of a faulty set top box one week ago. The only response I got so far is a message informing of the complaint being registered. After that no response whatsoever. No executive has called so far. Their customer care doesn't care and seems non existent. If anyone asks me about sun direct my immediate response will be a big NO my subscription no : [protected]

          My smart card No is [protected]. For about this one month I am unable to watch any channel due this error. Since then I complained the company several time but till date the problem is not resolved. Since 03 September I am following up the complaint daily and daily I get same words of assurance that your problem will be resolved today only. But till date no body came to resolve the problem. Yesterday after a long request I could speak to one of its senior person and he also told the same words. My recharge amount of this one month and the telephone charge of call on every day is a huge amount which is a loss for me and my family. You are requested to do the needful to resolve the problem and regularise the money problem. Yours sincierly Joys Mathew

          On the next day I got a call from the company and gave assurance that within two days the problem will be resolved. Now It is third after the phone call and still nobody came to resolve the problem. Still I am giving them call to remind about my complaint. But still I am getting the same fake assurance only and thus my monetary loss and entertainment loss is increasing day day. Loss by my channel recharge amount and my call charges are going up daily. It is my humble request to you that you may help me to resolve this pathetic situation.

          Even after my repeated complaints no action is taken from the company's side. At last I had to contact one local mechanic to resolve the problem at my end. I had to pay the mechanic from side and still waiting for the service from the company.

          Now it is my kind request to you that you may help me to get the damage charge that I am forced to pay. Since August 2nd I could not watch any programme. Now it is 29th of September on which I could watch the programmes, that by mercy of a local mechanic. Now it is my kind request to you that please arrange the needful action to get the damage charge from the company 'Sun Direct'.

          Recharge amount for the last two months which I could not watch -: Rs 199 x 2 = 298.00
          Call charge that I called the company -: Rs 9 x 25dys = 225.00
          Total amount wasted -: Rs. 523.00
          Damage % -: Rs.
          Grant Total -: Rs.

          It is my kind request to you that you may please advise the company to deposit pr refund this much amount in my Sun Direct account with thanks.

            I am a customer of sun direct since last 3 or 4 years. My account number is [protected] which is named on inderpal singh. In the first 6 months your set box was replaced by the company & a old repaired set box was given to me with words that your original set box shall be given back to you after repaired but it was not done.In the month of march that set box was also creating problem & company technician replaced with another repaired set box with amount of rs. 500. Now the set box was again creating problem the company technician said we will replace the set box free of cost. A call was received by i.E. Mr anil from sec 32 d chandigarh. He said i will replace the set box by hand when i send him by set top box. Now he said he will replace the set top box on 16.08.2013 . I request him that my account has already recharged with monthly package. The recharge is going to expire day by day. I request you to kindly look into the matter why your company set top box creating much problem. Kindly replace set top box as early as possible with fresh set top box that's why a customer should not face these type of problems again & again.

            I AM A CUSTOMER OF SUN DIRECT SINCE LAST 3 OR 4 YEARS. MY ACCOUNT NUMBER IS [protected] WHICH IS NAMED ON INDERPAL SINGH. IN THE FIRST 6 MONTHS YOUR SET BOX WAS REPLACED BY THE COMPANY & A OLD REPAIRED SET BOX WAS GIVEN TO ME WITH WORDS THAT YOUR ORIGINAL SET BOX SHALL BE GIVEN BACK TO YOU AFTER REPAIRED BUT IT WAS NOT DONE.IN THE MONTH OF MARCH THAT SET BOX WAS ALSO CREATING PROBLEM & COMPANY TECHNICIAN REPLACED WITH ANOTHER REPAIRED SET BOX WITH AMOUNT OF RS. 500. NOW THE SET BOX WAS AGAIN CREATING PROBLEM THE COMPANY TECHNICIAN SAID WE WILL REPLACE THE SET BOX FREE OF COST. A CALL WAS RECEIVED BY I.E. MR ANIL FROM SEC 32 D CHANDIGARH. HE SAID I WILL REPLACE THE SET BOX BY HAND WHEN I SEND HIM BY SET TOP BOX. NOW HE REPLACED THE SET TOP BOX ON 16.08.2013 . NOW THE PROBLEM HAS AGAIN OCCURED.               i have done top up for rupees 1600 to extend validity up to 5-9-2015. where as sms message confirmed the top amount but validity period not extended. hence expiry date may be extended up to 5-9- 2015 sun direct no [protected] ref no:65580431

                We are regular users of sun direct but since 20-25 days no channels are working we have also complained about it but no actions are taken place, this is highly irresponsible of you . We will never suggest any body to have dis dth service ...

                  Due date for account activation - 27th July 2014 Recharged on - 23rd of July for whole year. Premium of 3200 paid for whole year. Connection deactivated without prior information. When contacted more then 20 times, no action taken by Sun Direct officers to fix the issue. They have clearly mentioned money paid in advance will NOT BE REFUNDED which we have paid for the WHOLE YEAR. Due to this complete disappointment of service provided and forfeiture of premium (3200), I would like to raise this as a consumer grievance with an expectation of early resolution. Please note an email was also sent to Nodal officer Rajiv Varma on 13th August 2014 highlighting all the issues. However had no response from him as well. Regards Rohit Nair [protected]

They are given conformation This is one year package Plan after one year only you have to recharge but now without our Knowledge they activate two channels and told active now validity End .This is customer chitting, Kindly Revert Against My complaint.                       My Connection No. [protected]. I am fed up with Sundirect on following way and you should know how they cheating us:

                      1. Toll Free [protected] - only for display. Would not get this no.

                      2. Customer Care : [protected] : To speak a cusotmer care I have to wait minimum 10 minutes. Call charges Rs. 10 need to spent to reach a Customer Care Executive [CCE]. Recently they have advertise whole india no. like 12345 which was only for tamil

                      3. After reaching Executive, required explain full details of i.e.registered mobile no. address, city, registered name, person who make the call etc..CCE spending time with speaking the customers telling that asking sorry.. when a normal complete minimum call charges of Rs.30/- may deduct from your mobile. in IVR we have option to provide customer id, Why we need to explain full details. Even Bank CCE is not asking this much query. they may have tie up with Telephone operator for the hidden business paln

                      4. When I am choose for English language, CCE always speaks in Hindi

                      5. When I am asking for Sr. officials, They would not transfer and holding line for 5-10 minutes and again denying sr is on another line. understand i was holding 10 minutes and patience may loose and mobile charges spending

                      6. Sun DTH calendar works only 30 days.

                      7. To rectifiy my problem there is only one way to contact CCE and there is no further escalation matrix to contact sr level officer

                      IT IS AMAZING THAT WHEN I CONTACT CCE REGARDING MY TV IS NOT WORKING DURING RAINING AND THERE IS NO SIGNAL AVAILABLE IN MY TV. I CONTACTED SUN DIRECT CCE FROM OFFICE CCE TOLD ME CONTACT THEM WHEN I AM INFRONT OF TV. I HAVE CONTACT CCE WHEN MY TV WAS NOT WORKING DURING RAIN CCE MR NARAYAN TOLD ME TO WAIT UNTIL WEATHER BECOME PLEASANT. ALL OTHER DTH SERVICES ARE WORKING DURING RAIN. ASKING FOR SR OFFICIAL I HAVE TO WAIT 30 MINUTES AND COULD NOT CONNECT. I HAVE TO SPENT RS.40/- AND NO RESULT. I BECOME DEPRESSED & HYPER WAS THE RESULT FOR PATIENCE AND CCE TELLING LIKE TAPE RECORDER THAT MAFFI MANGUA

                        I am unable to watch channels on my TV. There are no signals on any of
                        the channels. I have already logged a complaint against( [protected])this on 14 April, 2014 but till the date my complain has not
                        been resolved.This company charged me 3 times payment for this, but nothing is resolved.Nobody is answer any calls. They don't have particular person for resolve my issue in dth . Please take any strict action for this bad company.

                          Hi Team,

                          I want to Change of Package for my Sundirect Smartcards : [protected](Parent connection)& [protected](Child connection) to Tamil Cinema Plus Sports Pack. So, I raised multiple complaints to change my package for both smart cards to Tamil Cinema Plus Sports Pack. till now my issue not resolved for past 1 months

                          SR # 1-[protected] --> This is complaint initial raised in mail to change my package, no resolution.

                          SR # 1-[protected] --> called the Toll free number[protected], & the person asked me to call other number.

                          SR # 1-[protected] --> Called other customer care number[protected] & the person asked me to recharge in other card.

                          SR # 1-[protected] --> After recharge, called again the customer care number[protected] & the person asked me to check after 3 hours for resolution of my problem.

                          SR # 1-[protected] --> But the problem is not resolved after 4 hours, then i called again[protected] and the person asked me to wait till end of the day for resolution of my problem.

                          SR # 1-[protected] -->I waited till Next Day[protected], but the problem is not resolved, then i called again and the person asked me to wait till end of the day for resolution of my problem .

                          SR# 1-[protected] --> waited till[protected] still no resolution for this problem & raised this new complaint.
                          Could you please let me know when this issue can be resolved

                            Yet after registering complain on 17/07/2014 we haven’t received any services from your side nor a reply for the previous mail. Still we are continuously calling the customer care and the same reply we are getting each time. But still our problem is not resolved. This is the limit that we are paying and still we are not getting proper services, nor able to watch the television. Every time the customer care fellow says that “WE ARE SENDING THE TECHNICAL PERSON TO SOLVE YOUR PROBLEM; HUM APKI SAHYATA KARTE HAIN” but where is the technical person? Does it take so long to send a technical person? And what type of sahyata are you giving us? Is the trouble you are giving us known as sahyata in your dictionary? If you are not able to provide proper service to the customer then close your so called company and also compensate us for your improper services.
                            We are going to register a complaint in consumer court against your improper services in next 24 hrs and we mean it. If you are not able to solve our problem in next 24 hrs we will make sure that your services and company is completely banned by govt.

                              This is Vrinda Nair residing at B-28/102, Suvarna Sandhya, Sector-9, Mira Road 401107. It may be for around six to seven years that i'm using sun direct. Its in my name (Vrinda Nair). The smart card no. is [protected]. For the past 3 weeks, I could not receive any signal and getting error messages only (E48, E52, etc.) I have been ringing the customer service number for the past 3 weeks[protected]. Even if they picked up the call, they do not send any of the service technicians. I have made more than 200 calls (from my both Mobile numbers). Also, I've informed them that I'm going to complaint in consumer court. Till now no response. Could you please assist me regarding the same?
                              The persons who attended my calls are the following:
                              i. sangeeta
                              ii. sandeep
                              iii. pinky
                              iv. tarun, etc.
                              And the main culprit AMIT KUMAR (FLOOR SUPERVISOR) said that by 24 hours he will clear all my problems regarding the same and he guaranteed saying that he is 100% sure that within 24 hrs he will clear my problem. And today this fellow didn't receive my call.
                              All these people always asks me my address and the details but they never turn up to help me. They always say that “HAMARI TARAF SE PURI SAHAYATA KI JAA RAHI HAI”, BUT TILL NOW I DIDN’T RECEIVE ANY SAHAYATA FROM THEIR SIDE. REMOVE THEM FROM YOUR OFFICE BECAUSE IF THEY CAN’T TURN UP TO HELP A CUSTOMER THEN WHY THE HELL ARE THEY WORKING THERE AND WHY ARE THEY CALLING THEMSELVES AS CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE???
                              Tell me the meaning of customer care service as I have not received any customer care service from your side. These above mentioned people are useless and you are wasting your money by giving them the SALARY.
                              I feel very proud that all the south indian management is very perfect and time-punctual in every aspect, but this sun direct management being an south indian company, the service in Mumbai very very poor.
                              I'm frustrated. One time I used to say to my colleagues and friends that sun direct is the best in service but today I feel shame to say to any one that I'm using sun direct because the service and management is very very poor now-a-days. Do the necessary help or else give me back my money and also give me all the expenses that i have incurred by using this sun direct. U can take away your chatha (umbrella), the waste dabba (setup box) and the useless remote.

                                    Dear Sun Direct Team, My connection with ID [protected] is not working from yesterday. I tried calling the customer care but due to some technical reasons they are saying we cannot talk to you. I want my connection to be working. Atleast please call me back on [protected] and give me the reason for disconnection. In my account i have enough money, and the present connection i have till December 2nd.                                       I have SunDTH Connection, The Smart card No :[protected]. I am residing in bangalore I am been loyal costumer for last 4.5 Yrs, Presently i am moving out of town for alteast 3 to 6 Months, i have recently recharged Rs : 2000 and it is valid till 28-Jan-2015. and, since i am moving out of town, i called customer care to deactivate, they are saying, it is not possible to deactivate. SR # 1- [protected] SR # 1- [protected] They are not even taking compliant to take next level, They should deactivate my account or payback. I discussed with Nodal officier, they are also not ready to deactivate my account. Please take it next level and resolve it.
