This is with regards to a tigor xz (O) petrol purchased by me in july 18.
I must say that my experience this far has been far from satisfactory; let alone it being good. I feel thoroughly cheated by the dealer from whom i made the purchase. There are multiple issues which are listed below:
1. I was taken to the dealer m/s. Deogiri auto by a friend who had purchased a nexon and recommended tata to me. We both saw the vehicle on display and took a test drive. After a few days, i decided to book the vehicle. Before booking, we told the dealer that we wish to book under the referral program of tata motors after which the dealer sales rep took all details of my friend’s nexon including photocopies of documents and mentioned that tata motors will directly contact us for the referral gift voucher. We accepted the same in good faith. Even at the time of delivery, i checked with the sales rep who said that the vehicle was booked under referral program and that principal company will directly contact regarding the same. After a few days on calling the tollfree number, i was told that my number didn’t show in the list of referrals in their system and i was not under the program. I had spoken to ms. Nikita on 4th aug 2018 from the call centre. She said that she would speak to the dealer and get back. I am still waiting till date.
2. On record, the dealer has delivered the vehicle on 30th june whereas the actual delivery took place 20 days later. Why was this done? Why wasn’t actual date shown as delivery date?
3. I had given my old vehicle in exchange for which i was given a rs. 15000 exchange bonus. When the showroom person came to collect delivery of the old vehicle, the paper on which he asked me to sign, mentioned rs. 25000. He told me that it was by mistake and corrected it in front of me after which i signed the same. When i had gone to take delivery of the vehicle, i demanded copies of all documents that i had signed related to the old car that i had handed over. They flatly refused to do so saying that this is never given to any customer. I then refused to accept delivery after which they finally gave me photocopies. Again, on this the previous figure of rs. 15000 was erased using white ink and changed for rs. 25000. When i demanded the reason, they again said that it was by mistake and again put white ink and made it rs. 15000. I have a photocopy showing rs. 15000. That this change was done willfully as can be easily made out from my above description. Clearly this is to mislead the customer and maybe tata motors also; else why would they take pains to change it over and over again. I am quite sure that the amount has again been changed after me accepting delivery
4. My previous vehicle which i gave in buy back had a comprehensive insurance that was taken approximately 3 months earlier. It had 50% ncb on it which i mentioned that i will want to transfer to the new vehicle. I didn’t know that for ncb certificate, the original policy document was required, and i in good faith, handed over the same while giving the old vehicle. Later on when i asked for it back, they refused to give it saying that the person who had taken the vehicle, had taken it basis the comprehensive insurance and that he wanted to transfer it in his name. Since when the value of a car is based on insurance? As it is, the vehicle was sold for a song at only rs. 30000 which is higher than even scrap value. My previous insurer had asked me to deposit the original policy document so that they could cancel it and refund the balance amount to me. I had to forgo the refund as i was not able to provide the original document. I was forced to concede to the dealer at the time as he refused to move an inch and just lay back as the car had already been delivered on paper and he was the delivery is getting delayed on your account only and we cannot do anything. Finally, i only had to budge. How do i get reimbursed for the loss?
5. At the time of booking, i was promised free 3m teflon coating and anti-rust treatment along with warranty card for the same. At the time of delivery, i was told that the warranty card is not ready and will come in a day and that he’ll deliver it to me. To my shock, it was some other warranty card with no mention of 3m. On being asked, i was told that products used were to be 3m and that warranty card would be of distributor and that i’ll get warranty from deogiri only. On the warranty card, there is no mention of 3m products being used too! Also, i was promised window visors at the time of booking which later he said was not committed.
6. The car brochure given to me mentioned a rear power outlet. This is missing. I was told that they’ll come back to me. I’m still waiting…
7. I was given a driver hand rest. This seems to have an issue as its height is more than the gear due to which it’s a slight discomfort. The dealer said that he’d check and come back to me and he’ll remove it and refund it if needed. For this also i have been waiting ever since.
8. The quality of the carpet lamination leaves lot to be desired. Just because it is given foc, doesn’t mean that just about anything can be given.
9. Some items such as hand rest and fast tag were billed to my company at my request as i wanted to claim gst input credit. On checking the gst portal, i have seen that the same too has not been done. Again i have suffered a loss.
10. I was not given any infotainment manual at all along with the car. Also, i haven’t been given any receipts of the amounts paid except for the initial down payment at the time of booking.
11. The pricing shown to me shown at the time of test drive and booking included an insurance amount of almost rs. 30000 whereas the actual insurance was only rs. 12000 approx. The illustration included zero dep charges. I got the same after haggling with the concerned person there and later was told that it was given basis a special approval. Why was i misled with rs. 18000 extra shown in the offer? Was something else due and i was given something else? How to find out? Why was zero dep given after haggling and arguments?
This entire episode is a story of fudged records, unkept promises and false commitments.
I have also logged a complaint with tata motors helpline complaint helpdesk on 12th aug 2018. Reference number is 1-[protected].
The only effect of this complaint was that i received a call of a ms. Manisha from deogiri twice. She called and understood all the issues and promised to callback. I haven’t heard from her till date after that. Only thing she sent was; a mail containing unsigned and unstamped receipts which have no standing. I again called the tollfree helpline on 25th aug. The lady on call told me that she’ll try to connect me to the tsm who handles deogiri account, but his number is switched off. If i want, she can raise a fresh complaint. Finally, after much haggling, she gave me his number. I have tried it twice, but both times, it was switched off.
I have again raised a complaint from the tata motors customer service app on 31st aug. The reference number is 1-[protected]. Yet to hear from someone on this till now.
There are multiple issues for which i feel that i would be very reasonable in expecting a proper resolution.

    I purchased tata nexon xz + on 24 aug that is last month. Car got accident due to tyre brust. Now service centre is saying that u will pay off 50% of amount. My question is to tata when tyre is brust than wt is my fault and why i will pay. That is ur fault. Plz do needful otherwise i will go to consumer court with all reports.

      Hi,
      I am rakesh. I bought tata xt in the month of april 2018 from sri venkateswara motors, nizamabad. Till now three services were done. While giving the vehicle for second service, i have informed the service engineer regarding the jerks occuring while accelerating. He told that i am not using the appropriate driving mode as per traffic conditions (Sports/ city). Then onwards i kept the mode in sports mode and even then the problem is not solved. The problem is increasing day by day and i am observing more jerks which seems to be due to interruption in fuel supply. This is a very dangerous problem which may result in accidents. I have also informed the same to the customer care when they called me for feed back. Other issue is, all the three times when i sent my vehicle for service, they told that the guy who deals with wheel alignment was on leave and returned back my vehicle without wheel alignment and balancing. At the time of purchase they charged me additional 15000 rs in advance for servicing.

      I am also facing the same issue. Very frustated buying this car. Unfortunately i changed my mind from eco-sport to Nexon. Eco sport wa better deal.

        I bought tata nexon xz+ diesel single tone from goldrush motors lucknow on 28th sept 2017. When i am trying to renew my policy i was facing issues. When i checked i found out that they issue me a policy for petrol car. Even the car model was wrong (They mentioned nexon xz+ petrol single tone. I have attached my rc and insurance. The engine number and chassis number is same on both documents but the model is different on insurance.

        I believe they wanted to save some cost and so they did this fraud. I have had many issues with this dealer from day 1. Please check the attached pics of the same.

            booking amount refund

            I recently booked a tata tiago car xz from t. C. Motors (Howrah, west bengal) with a booking amount of rupees 10000.
            Due to some better offer and price i considered another tata motors showroom (R. D. Motor, kolkata) and have finalised my deal with r. D. Motors.

            On cancellation of booking from the previous showroom t. C. Motors, i haven't received my refund of booking amount, they are deducting rupees 4000 unnecessarily....

            In my new tata tigor boot lamp, boot top cover and rear power outlet are missing.
            Its very frustrating to see naked boot top, with all wiring are visible.
            "ek to yar aapne tata motors ne price badha di gadi ki 2.2% sep month say or jo pahle se available tha low price me like boot lamp, rear power outlet, boot top cover usko bhi nikal diya".
            Kya itna khhara ya raha tha kya tata walo ki in 2, 3 chijo ka.
            10 se 15 hazar tak to price badhayi hi thi na, to rehne dete wo chije kya.
            Tata tigor thodi popularity kya badh gayi to aap kuch bhi karne lage.

            Today we got our tata tigor xz but after delivery of car we notice that boot top cover is missing, then we contact dealer they told us that it was not fitted by company, but as my knowledge it is fitted by company.

              I purchased new tata tigor car in 19 sep 2018

              In bafna motors, latur, maharashtra.

              In my car, boot top cover, boot light and also rear power outlet was not available.

              I called dealer regarding this but they says that, car comes without boot top cover or it was manufactured without boot top cover, boot light and without rear power outlet.

              In boot all wirings are visible and it look very bad, without boot top cover.

              It feels very ugly and create very bad impression without boot top cover.

              Plz do needfull.

                On 24th sept. I gave my tata tiago car for 3rd servicing as per routine procedure shraddha motors, bharuch, gujarat. I asked for pick up and drop facility. Service person came and noted all issues of my car and took it for servicing. After servicing they gave my car back on 25th sept. I was not at home at that time. They seemed to be in such a hurry that they didn't even bother to address my car's problems whether it has been solved or not. They hurriedly handed over the car to my wife and went away.
                One of my problems is still not solved.in addition to that they have damaged 1 item placed inside my car. On checking gutkha wrapper was found inside the car.
                I am telling you that i am highly disappointed with the service that i have received today from tata motors service centre. Now i come to know why tata motors servicing have got such a bad reputation. I think i have done a big mistake by purchasing a car from tata motors.
                Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

                    Dear Sir,

                    We have booked Tata Sumo Gold GX car in KHT motors Domlur Bangalore on 30 Aug 2018 for Rs. 25000. Then on 17 we have paid down payment of 2.75 lakhs and bank approved a loan of 7.5 lakhs.

                    We paid all the full amount to the dealer of Rs. 10.5 lakhs. But still now we are not able to get our vehicle. When we enquired the speak rudy with us with bad words and telling us that they couldnt tract the vehicle.

                    kindly help us regarding this either refund our full payment and deliver us our vehicle immediately.

                    Kindly take action on the KHT motors dealer, domlur bangalore.

                      There are some issues with the service station regarding my car service which is still not resolved and no more reconsidration on my matter which was been taken into the considration of the sales executive from where i have purchased my car... I've purchased the car in 2018 and there are so many issues with th service department. My car number is up80ep1552 agra. And there also no call from the head office mumbai asking about the score which the customer have to give or feed back.

                        Sir, my name is shailesh b. Bondale.. I have puechased tata tiagoxz from bafna motors ratnagiri maharashtra state at 11/9/2018.. Vehicle chassis no.
                        Mat626281jkh81180 i got two different tax invoices wherescoutation amount and final purchase amount is different means excess second
                        Thing is that durig delivery of vehicle they did not follow the check list parameters and without checking the vehicle they had handovered the vehicle its a great cheeting experiance for me third thing is that they had not given music system warranty card and they promised us the excessory item like floor mats but during delivery it was made not available for me fourth things about ragistraton they took all ragisration money from us but during ragistration their agent charged me some extra money in this way i have get very bad experiance from bafna motors ratnagiri i had never received the feedback call from tata motors still this date tata motors having very good vehicies but unfortunately the service centres are very bad hereafter i will never recommand the bafna motors ratnagiri to my fri. Ends and relatives so please take a serious action on this issue and make me sure about. Tatas reability as for as dealer service is concerned m.                           I had purchase the car from sree venkateswara motors india pvt ltd on 22/9/18 i had drive tata nexon xza+ orange with dual tone they had shown all futures in car like. 1. Reverse parking camera with prak assistance button in dash board and 2. Fog lamp button with turn indication mode and 3. Rear charging socket 4. Rear bumper stop light. I had booked the vehicle on 15/09/18 and i had received vehicle on yesterday but we don't have same futures in new brand car i asked the manger about it they are telling that they don't have any update about this first if tata motors are fooling the customer about this why should we buy tata product it's my worst experience of buy a first car in my life i need a solution for this. Immediate and customer are buying new car of worth around 13 lakhs what is the benefit of it.

                            Dear sir,
                            My name is anand lakhani and i own a zest xt diesel, rto no. Gj 03 hr 2856. Car is in the name of my father jagdish lakhani.
                            I met with an accident and got broken both the alloy wheels on the left hand side due to broken road near surendranagar on viramgam highway on 25/8/2018.
                            I toedput the car in service center on the same day and being told from service center (Sc) that they don't have same alloy in the store of sc. And they promised to get it in a week. I've continuously followed up for a month and they answered as per following.

                            1. Tata motors don't have same alloy wheels any where and they stopped making it.
                            2. Tata motors didn't find this kind of alloy wheels from anywhere.
                            3. So now after 2 weeks tata motors sc team is having discussions regarding whether tata motors will provide or not provide all four alloy wheels.
                            4.in the 3rd week they confirmed that tata motors will provide all four alloy wheels.
                            5. After confirmation tata motors sent shipment containing all four alloy wheels and will reach in four days.
                            6. It did not arrived and sc team doesn't have any shipment tracking data provided.
                            7. I visited yesterday but got an answer that now store did find two same alloy wheels from somewhere and now waiting for the shipment containing 2 alloy wheels which is same as the old ones. Still they don't know when it will arrive by lacking data regarding shipment tracking.

                            It's been almost a month and i am waiting for the car. I am an architect and having business in three different cities across gujarat. I am paying 3000 rupees per day for taxi service. I am facing lot of problems due to this inconvenience caused by some silly issues of alloy wheels. How one can buy car from tata motors if such small issues can't be handled.

                            I sincerely request that please resolve this issues as early as possible.

                              Dear sir, i booked a tata nexon xz+diesel dual tone on dated 16/09/2018 by sales representative mr. Arvind saini and gave a check of 10000/-. He filled a order form and we both signed on it but after 3 days company's sales manager mr. Vinay sinha denying to give vehicle according this deal then they came to my home with mr. Arvind on dated 21/09/2018 and they increased 19900/- extra amount in other fresh deal and retured my check with the terms of giving 5000/- cash booking amount on the behalf of new deal so i gave him 5000/- cash and he sent a booking slip which is sent by shivani by whatsapp but i have lost my faith on them so i cancelled my booking on dated 23/09/2018 and sent them a application by speed post for refund my full amount but they are denying to refund my booking amount. So please make refund my booking amount because i have no faith on them now. Thanks, nipender singh chhabra, pilibhit.

Tata nexon dealership are not refunding my booking amount and trying to cheat me many times by sending different quotations of different amounts.so please make refund my 5000/- rs.                                 My tata tiago (Chassis no - mat626241jkf54224) met with an accident on last month, for the maintenance work and claiming purpose i was submitted my vehicles temporary permit, insurance and my original driving licence at trivandrum motors service center at trivandrum. 19/09/2018 my vehicle, vehicle tp and insurance get back after all works, and didnt get my original driving licence. The concerned authority was treat me as fool. I want immediately get back my licence and kindly do the needful for that

                                  Description - i did recommended to buy tata hexa at davanagere karnataka on jan 1st 2018 for my brother-in-law. Today when he was driving from davanagere to bengaluru. The steering got jammed and the vehicle was towed to the nearest tata motor service station.

                                  They said the some belt has gone, i dont understand being a new car the steering has been jammed so we are now scared to use this car because in a highway if we are driving in a speed and steering wheel gets jammed which may lead into accident which may cost our lives.

                                  From this we come to know that there is no safety and we lost trust on tata vehicles..

                                  Please investigate this issue and let us know the permanent resolution and root cause of the issue.

                                  We don't have any trust on this vehicle so please do see that we get a refund for this vehicle.

                                      I have safari storem nov 2015 model, since last few months i noticed that its hand break not working properly and car not stopped on slop or hill. Company service person says its impossible that storme completely stopped more than 15 degree slop or hill after several complain to customer care regional service manager says its fine and storm not stopped completely. And its very disappointed to me, tatas heart line safari brand does not stopped from hand break then why u put this in. If my problem not solved then i go to consumer court.
