My tata sky package is about to expire hence called tata sky customer service about new package as per new guideline suggested by trai however they informed me that trail had extended the date to implement the new rule. When requested to provide the date upto when it is extended. Customer service representative said that they are not aware of the same.

I feel tata sky is misleading the customer and trying to cheat the customer by not implementing trai suggested guidelines

    Free to air basis channels like dd sports are turned off whenever a cricket match is coming.
    If it is free to air how tata sky have rights to close the channel.
    They say recharge on star sports at rs.60 per month to watch.
    But the whole pack of star is rs.49 per month which also included sports channels.
    Then why they are charging extras.
    Consider my complaint and take some serious actions against tatasky.

      I have recharged my account with 240 rupees monthly south regional pack and it is successful but it is showing "digicard error. Parring error this card is wrong". December 2018, the pack was deactivated, now i recharged with 240 rupess whether i need to recharge any additional packs to resolve this issue. Kindly provide solution for this as soon as possible. Thanks in advance

        Sir,

        I have been a subscriber of tatasky since october 2006 (Subscriber id: [protected]). I am paying an exorbitant amount of rs.750/ p. M for an assortment of channels. However, in view of the latest order issued by trai, i am aware i will have to pay about 150/- to view about channels as all dth/cable operators come under the purview of the g. O w. E. F 1st of february. However, when i contacted tatasky customer care on email this morning and reminded them about the go and asked them to allow me to migrate to the new tariff plan, i was informed that the go will not be given effect to from 1st of feb. And that they are no sure when, if ever, it will be implemented,
        This is unfair and amounts to violation of the trai order. I therefore request you to intervene immediately and direct tatasky to comply with the go withoutfail and take steps to provide the benefits of the new tariff plan from 1 of feb.'19.'

          I was not using my tata sky for over a month and when i recharge back for rupess 500/- my tata sky regd id [protected] is displaying as following
          “ this is the wrong card for this set top box
          (Pairing error)

          In view of the above, please suggest me what to do as to get it resolved as early as possible.

            Hi all,

            I was suppose to make a transcation of rs 890 but by mistake i have made 2 transcations of rs 8903 on 6th nov 7:15 pm and had made a call for assistance tata sky customer care had heard my problem and said that they will refund both the transcations

            Payments done through paytm they have confirmed that only one payment has been refunded to them.
            Issue: i have received only one payment as refund
            Total amount paid :17806
            Amount that was supposed to be paid: 890
            Amount refunded: 8903
            Amount pending : 8903

              Dear sir

              I am a tata sky subscriber with number [protected].

              I have been informed by tata sky that your order for the implementation of the directives for channrl broadcasting norms has been extended. You can check my recorded conversation with them on friday.

              Kindly inform if this is true.

              Tata sky have not yet implemented your directives while i hear that other operators have already implemented.

              I feel that tata sky is the most costliest cable operator with the least flexibility.

              Request you to take them to task for non implementation of your directives.

              There should be portability in the tv subscription also with a common set top box.

              This will help to keep the cable operators from being irrational and will do justice to. People.

                I didn't use the service for 5 months. Then i recharged yesterday but it is not working. On the tv, there is just a blank screen with a message : "this is the wrong card for this set top box (Pairing error).                 I call tata sky customer care excutive many times for GOVERNMENT NEW CHANNEL POLICY ( TRAI ). But Tata Sky Delaying in this services. Resolve my problem as soon as POSSIBLE . Otherwise i'll Change the DTH Operator.

                  Despite trai's latest notification about pricing details of individual channels to be shared with consumers, tata sky has not implemented the said notification.
                  I have contacted them many times since last month but they always say that trai has extended the date for implementing the said notification without showing willingness to implement the notification and thereby cheating subscribers of their money.

                    1st issue raised date :- 12th jan'19
                    2nd issue raised date :- 14th jan'19

                    Issue :-
                    While changing channel, setup box switches off, shows "no signal", restarts again, takes more than 50secs to 70 secs to get normal n goes back to default channel.

                    Post raising the 1st complaint, an executive had visited on 13th jan :19, post thorough check, he insisted that the setup needs to be changed.. N asked inr 500 (400 +100).. When asked is it the only solution, he said there is no other solution.. I agreed..

                    Next day, same prob persisted, raised complaint, then also asked them to come post 1700 hrs on weekdays, or on weekends.. They said yes..

                    Sector 108, noida, owenrr some imtiyaz called up on 19th jan, told me to cancel the complaints n give the service order number, so that they can close the call, however said he will come next day morning n resolve the complaint...

                    Some clarifications :-
                    1. Why was the setup box replaced when the root cause was something else??
                    2. Why did the customer had to shell out extra amount when the issue was not resolved?
                    3. Why was i spending the entire weekends n 10 days for a issue like this?? Where is the customer service...

                    Issue is still not resolved... As on 21st jan'19...

                        I am a consumer of tata sky with a subscriber id -[protected], and was having the earlier pack valid till 11th jan 2019.

                        From beginning of this month, i have been asking them to provide the option to choose the channels that i want, as per the new trai regulations.
                        But they have been saying that it is still not finalised and trai has extended time.
                        But my understanding is that trai has extended time for the consumers and not for dpos to make it available to consumers.

                        Please advise in this regard and instruct the dpos, particularly tata sky to make the options available to consumers who want to switch now.

                            After you noticed all dth platforms to acknowledge their customers to your new tariff plan, than tata sky is lonely who not working on it, & even though tata sky is failed to apply new tariff plan & they spread myths about you that trai extends the date of implementing of new tariff plan, so i humble request you that i am regular paid tata sky customer & please teach a lesson to tata sky 🙏🙏🙏

                              Hello, i am a customer of tata sky dth service. Regarding the new trai regulations, tata sky is not bothered to provide any information to its customers regarding the same. I spoke with the customer support agent and they haven't told me what the deadline to implement is and where i can get the information about the new rules. When asked, all they told me is we will let you know at some point and that there is no such specific deadline that we know to implement this. Please look into this.

                                My tata sky id [protected] i have sent many mails regarding the misguidance given to me to recharge for 175 rs every month for hd package even though i had semi annual south special package the hd package comes for only rs 85 pm and even if i recharged 175 rs pm i was not given all the hd channels if you can check my channel records so i need the excess amount paid for not receiving the full hd channels which you can put it to my account which i have been paying 175 rs per month since january 2018 till january 2019

                                  I called tata sky on 17 january 2019 and observe that they not follow new broadcasting regulations and when i call there customer care they mis guide me and told that date of new regulations extend and not provide me new chenal selection. They dont registered my complaint regarding this mis representative behaviour. They make this frauds with many consumers like me. Also please initiate dth operator portability so we can change this type of fraud broadcaster.

                                    I have spoke the tata sky customer care support team for new update and chose channel as per that but they sail court has been post porn the date of amendment; and will wait as that, till the time will no do any changes on package.

                                    As when ask to provide courts order/documents they given irrespective reson anf avoide.

                                      Inspite of regular reminder Tata Sky is still cheating their customers as they are not providing Channels as per TRAI new regulations..The customer agents says they are still working on the same and the new rules are still not updated and will not be giving to customers..Please file this COMPLAINT against Tata sky

                                        I am tata sky customer for last five years, but i am contacting them for last 15 days regarding updation of my current pack as per new trai rules as currently i am paying rs 500 per month, but no satisfactory answer is reviewed from them, as deadline is 31 st january. As customer i'm at loss. Requesting you to resolve my issue at earliest. As i have to pay only 130 per month now.
