Hello,
I am really disappointed with the way my recent complaint is handled by TATA sky customer care. Sequence of events in my journey to tata sky is as below-

- I am a happy tatasky DTH user since 6th Oct 2012. I started with 2 set top boxes i.e 1 HD & 1SD set top box.
- On 31st dec 2017 I took additional HD set top box which means Now i have 2 HD & 1 SD set top boxes i.e total 3 set top boxes
-On 28th April 2018 i was offered to upgrade my existing SD set top box to a HD by tatasky executive. I took the offer & upgraded my SD box. which means Now i have 3 HD set top boxes
- Somewhere in August i deactivated one of my HD set top which means Now i have 2 HD set top boxes
Now on 26th of December this year while scrolling through tatasky app i noticed that application is showing i have 3 set top boxes active! It is showing that 2 of them are HD & 1 is SD set top box.
So to my understanding- 8 months ago when i upgraded my SD set top box to HD, tatasky executive installed a new additional HD set top box without deactivating existing SD set top box & cost for that SD box is getting deducted from my balance from past 8 months without my knowledge.. & without being used at all! All this time i am under the impression that i have only 2 active boxes but it is clearly not the case.
I have few question from tatasky as below-
- Who is at fault if SD box wasactive from 28th april 2018 to 26th December 2018 when i am not using it at all?
- Nearly INR 2000 is deducted till date @ 250 per month for MultiTV Sd set top box which was supposed to be discontinued by your executive.
- I was told by your customer care executive that they cannot do anything in this regard as this issue is more then 6 months old- but does that means i should pay for it from my pocket?
This is clearly a case of negligence at your part for which i am being charged. I want to escalate this matter to higher level & until this issue is sorted i will not renew my services with tatasky. My request number is 19Z27WON
