Hello,
I am really disappointed with the way my recent complaint is handled by tata sky customer care. Sequence of events in my journey to tata sky is as below-

Subscriber id - [protected]

- i am a happy tatasky dth user since 6th oct 2012. I started with 2 set top boxes i. E 1 hd & 1sd set top box.

- on 31st dec 2017 i took additional set top box which means now i have 2 hd & 1 sd set top boxes i. E total 3 set top boxes

-on 28th april 2018 i was offered to upgrade my existing sd set top box to a hd by tatasky executive. I took the offer & upgraded my sd box. Which means now i have 3 hd set top boxes

- somewhere in august i deactivated one of my hd set top which means now i have 2 hd set top boxes

Now on 26th of december this year while scrolling through tatasky app i noticed that application is showing i have 3 set top boxes active! It is showing that 2 of them are hd & 1 is sd set top box.
So to my understanding - 8 months ago when i upgraded my sd set top box to hd, tatasky executive installed a new additional hd set top box without deactivating existing sd set top box & cost for that sd box is getting deducted from my balance from past 8 months without my knowledge.. All this time i am under the impression that i have only 2 active boxes but it is clearly not the case.

I have few question from tatasky as below-

- who is at fault if sd box was still active till 26th december this year?
- nearly inr 2000 is deducted till date @ 250 till date for multitv sd set top box which was supposed to be deactivated by your executive
- i was told by your customer care executive that they cannot do anything in this regard as the box is active from more then 6 months - but does that means i should pay for it from my pocket?

This is clearly a case of negligence at your part for which i am being charged. I want to escalate this matter to higher level & until this issue is sorted i will not renew my services with tatasky. My request number is 19z27won

i got call from tatasky representative but nothing happen after that.. more then 15 days now and my position is still same.. highly disappointed with tatasky.. i may switch to other service provider now..

    I want to change the plan, as per new gov guidelines we can select the plans that we want. I contacted cust care and they spoke to 2 people including supervisor and they says that the plan chnage is available for only new customers as it trial and dont even know when this will be available to existing customer which is wrong i dont want to pay more when i can select the plan and only pay for it... Really disappointed... While talking the supervisor disconnect the call and again i receive a call from a girl and she gave me [protected] num to call and change the plan which is a wrong num so disgusting

      As per latest news updation, customer should select its own channel as per his convenience. When i call to customer care asking how to select our channel. Their response is "we have no updation about it. You see the channels at the cost you are paying. When i asked that, other dth providers are providing the facility for channel selection then why tata sky is not providing the said facility. Then their answer is"we have no updation.
      This is ridiculuos answer all the time i got from help line. Please provide me proper information otherwise i will take seroius action against tata sky

        I don't recharged my tata sky for three month, then i recharged it yesterday but it's not working.
        There is the message on the tv display shows that "this is the wrong card for the set top box (Pairing error)
        Nds no.:[protected]
        Digicard id is[protected].

        Hi, that's not how it should have been. Remove the card and wipe it with a soft dry cloth, insert it back(The Tata Sky logo should be upward and the arrow pointing towards the Set-top box) and let us know the status.

        Still nothing same problem after customer care response.. Response support not enough. resolve soon wiping the card with soft cloth and insert it back like your response is not working. and mind it my recharge pack is expiring tonight without even viewing it .

        Problem not resolved still getting the same pairing error message. Worked out something which can help resolved the problem at this rate of response Tata sky customers care is not helping, still zero rating . Do something worth for the customer s thank you resolved soon thank you.

          Have been a customer of tata sky since the last many years.
          I took a semiannual pack for 2 tv's and recharged with amount of 5784 on 10/08/18.

          In the morning today the add-on connection stopped working. I gave a call to customer care and asked the reason since the pack is valid till feb. I was told there is a mistake on tata sky end and the issue would be resolved in next 24hours. I was also advised that i can recharge with rs 30 so that the 2nd tv can start working till the time issue is resolved.

          I just received a call from tata sky and i am being told that after recharging in august for the semiannual pack, i should have given a call to tata sky which i did not. So the lady from tata sky is telling me it's my mistake and now i have to pay for the add connection. Now if i did not give a call how come the tata sky was working all these months.

          This is just unfair trade practice putting the blame on customer. When i have recharged for a semiannual pack for 2 tvs why should i be calling tata sky in very first place. Do you tell the customer at time of recharging that we are supposed to call you people. And last of all while recharging i was in touch with tata sky on online chat and informed the person on chat that i have recharged for the amount i was told.

          Now is this my fault or yours. Kindly look into it and rectify this matter at the earliest else i think you will not only loose a customer but i would take this to the highest level so that no one else is harrased the same way.
          And i expect some decency from tata sky to atleast have the courtsey to reply back when i have written mails at [protected]@tatasky.com

            I had offer from tata sky and it was aldo aired on tv and website about recharge via citi card. If customer recharged with citi card then he will get tata sky balance of Rs 2400/-. I have also screenshot of that offer. I contacted many times but not resolved my query and also tata sky closed my query without intemating me 3 times. If i call to tata customer care i was told that the offer is of bank and i hve to contact bank and i call to bank then i was told that bank had not such offer and i advised me to contact service provider. Please let me know from where will i get offer benefit.

              Dear Sir,
              I am the customer of tata sky, as per new guideline of TRAI consumer has a right to choose individual packs, but tata sky is still not providing such facility to consumers.
              Even I have called to their customer care, but they have no updation.While as per guideline last date is 31st Dec 2018.
              Please resolve this issue.

                Sir I am jammi Raghavendra Rao tatasky dth subscriber I'd no.[protected].Today I called their customer service telephone and spoke them about the paid channels. He said they are not ready.
                I got a message on my whatsApp subsequently asking me send messages for each channel I want to pay quoting their channel number. And they wanted that I should send separate messages quoting their channel numbers in a proscribed format.
                They are not willing to heed my request and many times they send a autogenarated standard message to submit my request for ADD and Delete channels
                My cellphone no. registered with them is [protected].
                This is a clear violation of TRAI directives and to continue their old system as long as possible.
                Then I have sent another message to give me access to free channels only from 29th dec. For this also their autogerated answer I am receiving.
                So sir please ensure that I get free channels only from 29th dec, so as to enable me to inform them the particulars of paid channels in their standard format.
                The unsavoury feature with tataSky is that they mix their own channels soliciting customers subscription. Please sir put an end to this practice.

                    I didn't recharged my dth since 3 months. I had recharged few hours ago but it is not working and showing "this is the wrong card for the set up box (Pairing error) hds (...) digicard id (...)" i am a loyal customer of your tata sky dth company. I request you please resolve this issue as soon as possible.
                    I had never faced such issues as i am your old consumer.

                      I am a tata sky user for last 2 years (Customer id [protected]). This month i was up for renewal on 22/12/18 for platinum south hd.
                      Instead i called up co and asked them to provide details of channels which i can select and use. Unfortunately till today they have not provided me with channel list and prices, their only answer is we are working on it and once ready we will get back to you.
                      I had a chat with 1 lady on 23/12/18 (Pls ask tata sky to provide full manuscript of that chat as it could not get saved in my system) who suggested that my daily charges are approx rs 26.83/- and if required i could recharge for rs 200/- and meanwhile they will get back once ready. I have recharged for 1 month and next expiry is on 21/01/19.
                      Meanwhile their executives keep calling and asking me to renew for 1 year with the same pack saying that it will serve as base pack and any addition will be free, when i ask them details they are giving vague answer.
                      In my last year subscription pack (Rs 8900/annum) also sony channels were removed all of a sudden and then for few sony channels they allowed to start with a bizarre calling service which will go off after some time and again you have to call on the numbers given to start channels.
                      This service provider is cheating people by taking 1 year subscription and then doing as they please. Same pictures or sports or serials are shown on 2-3 different channels and that is how they are fooling people by showing high number of channels on their list.

                        Actually sir i see a add on my tv that we can choose our own channels or packs but when i call to tata sky customer care they said that they had no updates for that service... I called them today and the last date for the service is 29 dec... Please help me sir... I'm very sad about the poor services of tatasky... You should take some steps against tatasky

                            My set-top box was working fine till yesterday. Suddenly I am getting ERROR 02. Digicard may not be inserted properly. This issue is just there and even after restarting the set-top box, cleaning the card and reinserting the card with the arrow on top did not resolve the issue. This is the first time I am getting this. Please help as its really annoying...

                            Tata sky account no. [protected]

                            I requested for remote replacement on 20th december 2018.

                            Delivery boy delivered the remote on same day, and 200rs deducted from my account on same day.

                            On 21st december i got message telling my account has been deducted for technician visit. (Which i never requested for)

                            I contacted their online chat service and helpline numbers but i got horrible reply from them they are saying "you requested for remote replacement as well as technician visit"

                            Interestingly, i don't have any problem with my tata sky hd connection so why i will ask for technician visit??

                              You are collecting recharge for a month, but do not give me full value. Every month I am denied one day’s service. I lose 3% every month! For October the due date was 27th; For November, it was 26th’ and for December, Tatasky has made it 25th. Stop this practice.. In future, the due date for me for monthly recharge must be the 25th day only.

                                Dear sir,
                                Animax is the most watched channel by teens. Animax is very popular among teens and far better than any other cartoon channel.
                                Most o[censored]s watch animax than other kids channel. Please remove sony yay channel or make it as another channel and add animax channel to tatasky.
                                Everyone i know are fond of animax shows.
                                Please bring it back to tatasky

                                  I have seen the biennial dhamaka pack @rs.4400/- in tata sky website and i also contacted the customer care about the biennial dhamaka pack and recharged the same. After recharged the amount, again i have contacted the customer care to activate it for biennial but he said that it is in auto renewal, it will renwed automatically after 24th december, 18 but this pack is activated for annual. So, again i have contacted the customer care and explained the same to resolve it. But now they are saying that they doesn't have such type of packs then why they have mentioned on the tata sky website and even also on app. Customer care also told the same about biennial dhamaka pack.

                                  So, please resolve it as early as possible and activate my account for biennial dhamaka pack.

                                  First, I didn't recharge my connection since I was not home for last 1.5 months. Today after doing my regular recharge I get an error "this is the wrong card for this set top box (pairing error)
                                  After calling customer care you suggest technician visit for a charge of INR 100 at no fault of mine.

                                  Hi, that's not how it should have been. Remove the card and wipe it with a soft dry cloth, insert it back(The Tata Sky logo should be upward and the arrow pointing towards the Set-top box) and let us know the status.

                                    Hi,
                                    I am planning to renew my monthly connection with tata sky and called them to understand how they are complying with the new trai regulation which benefits the customers.
                                    The response is - there is no change in the package changes as of now and they do not know when the new package details will be available.

                                    I am not sure why they are advertising for a week to call them to understand the benefits of new trai regulation. I am very sure they have no intent to benefit the customers and making the customers to renew the old packages.

                                      Dish tv and reliance dth like dish services provide hd channel over 1080p format which is true hd but you tata sky provide it on 1080i resolutiion (Interlaced scanning). It consume less bandwidth, but i don't care about that
                                      I bought your service because some told me you have best plan and picture quality but when i check your resolution that you provided i seen only 720p and 1080i and where 1080p was missed.
