I opted for your connection last may, 2018 through one of your agents in my area (6-a cross h. A. L. 3rd stage, bangalore 560075) you had registered it under the name '" advika, and mob: no: [protected] while giving the connection. After several attempts and complaints i got my mob:no: changed to that of miine which is [protected], my name is yet to be corrected after nearly 8 months.!!! Could you please change it to t. S. Kannan atleast now please.

    Hi,

    My registered number is [protected] and i have added your 365 rs recommended pack however unable to view any free to aur channels and when called customer care was asked to manually add the same what kind of services is this if you are providing free to air channels as per trai why can't u provide them without customer having to add them manually plus u have a 24 hours lock in time to change looks like it's time to move on with another services after being with u for 6 years.

    Pathetic request you to please add fta channels for all customer without customer requesting for.

    These changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) services Tariff Order 2017" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI). The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators.

      I have taken Two connections ( add on connection ) from Tata Sky on 27 th December 2018. As per your customer care
      we were told that in case of parallel connection if we pay full charge for one selected pack then we have to pay 70% of the chosen pack
      for the 2nd connection. So we dumped our existing cable and chose your service with extra money for the hardware. Now today(04.02.2019 I called customer care on 9.06 pm
      to clarify my confusion with your new package. But I am sorry to say that the behavior of your representative was horrible and responded like very poorly.
      I can't imagine that a person with this type of language and manner is a part of your system.

        I updated my package and recharged my Tatasky account. This is reflected in the Mobile app. But the TV is not showing the new channels or the updated payment. If these is any issue I would like my payment to be refunded as I don't want to pay a channel provider for a black screen. I have contacted the customer care number which is utterly useless and have been more than patient with this for the last couple of days.

          Sir,
          My ID no is [protected].Suddenly it is decided by the channel owners that we have to select the channel s as per our choice.
          We are senior citizens and not very computer savvy.We face lots of difficulties online choosing.
          As soon as we try suddenly page disappear s.
          Secondly we have two tv's you are charging payment for two tv's but you are providing all free channels in one tv another tv does not have why?
          This causes lots of difficulties to us.
          My request you sir, keep in mind our age and as nobody stays with us consider to

          1 .submit our choice of channels through email
          2 .both the tv's must have same channels.

            I have 3 set top boxes under 1 subscriber id. We get the connecgion recharged on 26th jan. Yesterday 1 of the set top box started showing that we are not subscrubed to view the channels. Since then I am contacting the support team but all in vain.

              Dear sir/mam,
              My tata sky account ([protected] thalaivas - annual package).

              I renewed my tatasky account with thalaivas - annual package on 8-dec. Then, as per trai's new tariff, i was asked to choose my package and i did that through my tata sky app. I dont think it is effected till now.

              1. I am not able to see the current status of my account. App shows something and set top box shows something.
              2. I am not able to add/remove channels. App is not allowing me to view the 'manage pack' screen.
              3. I recharged for 50 rs. On 3rd feb 2019 and opted for star sports tamil through sms. But star sports 1 hd was added to my pack instead. By the way mine is sd set top box. I am losing my money daily for that invalid subscription.
              4. The due date which is shown in the app is wrong.
              5. I am not getting any updates on my sms requests also.

              Can you please do the needful asap?

              As per the new regulations do the the DTH provider themselves decide the 100 channels to be provided to me or do I have the right to choose, because my current DTH provider ie Tata Sky says TRAI regulations have decided the free channels to be provided.

                Here i want to share my worst experience with the services of tata sky. Suddenly four days back in evening my settop box stopped working however till morning everything was fine. I called in tata sky helpline first they asked me to check if all the wiring and connections to the box are fine, i checked and told them everything is fine i didn’t even touched any wire or box. After that they said they will arrange a technician visit for me that is charged 100₹, i denied and asked the representative to connect to me with senior of him now about 15 minutes putting me on hold my call got disconnected that was a frustrating situation for me. Next day i complained again and i said okay arrange a technician visit i will pay 100₹ (However that should not be charged i bought the connection 4 months back only) when technician came he said that the antenna needs to moved somewhere else and that is chargeble for approximately 400₹ rupees i denied and called back to helpline and they repeated the same. Now i want tata sky to please send someone to remove the box and antenna and take it away from my house i can find and go with numbers of other better providers. Seriously its a bad experience for me.

                  With rs 153 just like rental and choosing channel packs like star, zee, sony my monthly rental went up above rs 330, but earlier i have been watching the same channels at rs 220 per monthly... Moreover free network channels at rs 153 doesn't include at sony, star or zee channels. Now it is just like watching at rs 153+181= rs 334 per month which was earlier possible at rs 220 per month with sony, star and zee network channels. But now i am forced to cut down watching some channels due to this new trai channel pack system. So, i am really not happy with this new system

                    I am a subsriber with [protected] as my id. I feel there is no transparency in taya sky for the customers to remove undesired channels and select desired channels. I was getting jaya tv before but not getting now. Who has given you the right to cancel it without my consent and many channels not required by me have been added and i am told to pay rs.460/- p. M. If this trend continues, i have no other way than to switch over to some other service provider.

                      I have selected some below 100 channels as per new trai rules. Ncf for the same supposed to be 153/- (130+taxes) but tata sky is deducting 176/-. When i call and inquire about how many channels are subscribed for my account, they are failed to answer stating lame excuses such as application is down or they dont have access or disconnecting in middle of call (6 times call was disconnected in span of 2 hours).
                      One more note to mention, they are giving promo pack of fta channels contains 193 channels and stating it as mandatory. But as per trai only dd channels mandatory. But tata sky forcing me to select its promo pack (Fta promo has 193 channels) because of which i cant select my fta individual channels with in 100 channel ncf rate.
                      One more issue to mention, tata sky has provided package selection option just 1 week before its implementation and also no other mode to select (Customer care was not helping) because of which many users trying to reach site and always it give issues. Even now also it is not stabilized, getting lot of technical glitches. Even customer care not providing correct information. They are misleading the customers by giving incorrect information.

                      Distributors can charge subscribers a "Network Capacity Fee" (NCF) of Rs.130 pm + taxes (i.e. Rs.153 pm incl. of taxes) for providing up to 100 SD FTA channels. For providing more than 100 SD FTA channels, the distributors can charge NCF of Rs.20 pm + taxes (i.e. Rs.23 pm incl. of taxes) for every 25 additional SD FTA channels. You also get a promo pack of 194 FTA channels and services at no additional cost. You can still add/remove channels or bouquets as per your viewing choice through mytatasky.com, Tata Sky Mobile app or by visiting your nearest Tata Sky dealer.

                        I am tata sky subscriber (Id – [protected]) from vishakhapatnam, ap.

                        A) i have requested and made multiple calls to customer care to drop platinum hd pack - daily basis and continue as per my selection which was registered and approved by tata sky on 30 jan 2019, in accordance to trai.
                        Violating all norms tata sky is continuing platinum hd pack on daily basis at their own wish making me pay unnecessarily heavy bills. This illegal siphoning off of my money is being done by tata sky in spite of my repeated crystal clear written and verbal instructions causing me financial loss and mental agony.

                        B) in the same manner tata sky has illegally deducted rs.51.34/- on 13 jan 2019 which was brought to their notice in a complaint dated 27 jan 2019. They have not yet responded to the complaint.

                        C) similarly i had earlier brought to notice of tata sky on 25 oct 2018 the deficiency in service provided by them for blocking access to the hd channels to which i had rightful access earlier which amounts to deliberate violation of contract as per terms and conditions for platinum hd annual pack subscriber. Tata sky has not yet responded to this complaint (Reference number: 18jrpjrn) though more than 3 months are over.

                        Dear Nodal Officer,

                        Ref: Tata Sky - Service Request No.: 1AWNGD7J- Your response dated 4th Feb 2019.

                        I wish to remind as under-

                        1) I had already Selected Channels by logging and signing in my account on Tatasky official website on 30 Jan 2019, as per TRAI directives, Tata Sky instructions on channel 999.

                        2) Grand total of Rs 345.1 was calculated by Tata sky as a Monthly rental for selected channels.

                        3) A Confirmation message that request for new pack had been registered by Tata Sky and would be executed from 1st Feb 2019 was issued.

                        4) I made successful online payment of Rs 400/- on 31 Jan 2019 at 09:25 am.

                        5) Above facts have been already mentioned in my emails dated 31 Jan 2019 at 10: 08:50 hrs and substantiated with attachments of Screen shots from Tata sky officila website

                        6) You have not put your mind to the facts and made intentional futile absurd attempt to circumvent the facts, disobeying TRAI directives.

                        I wish tata sky would follow TRAI directives and charge me as for a monthly grand total of Rs 345.1/- calculated by Tata sky, from 01 Feb 2019.

                          I called the tatasky helpline no, regarding the subscription of a channel, as i was not aware of the newly trai rules which came to effect. He asked me usual questions. He ensured me that my subscription is under process and some slight changes have been made regarding confirmation of my channel subscription and all i had to do was just miscall a given no which he had given to me (Whichi can't disclose)
                          Convincing me that my process will be confirmed just after that. To my surprise there was someone aged men unknown speaking at the other end and telling me that i must have dialed a wrong no.
                          As i called the helpline no so i honestly believed him and did just as he guided me. For it is what helpline no are supposed to be. I believe action must be taken for such practices. As it is a shame that such a reputed company hire those who just misguide or joke their clients.

                            Cartoon network and pogo channels are part of subscribed "turner bouquet 2" pack but the same are not available for viewing as the massage is showing that both the channels haven't been subscribed. We have to pay subscription for the channel cn and pogo. After 1 hour of trying to contact tatasky helpline i was advised to turn off and turn on my tatasky set top box and there was no result. Finally i was told that the problem will be solved in next 24 hours. How they and their system are poor in managing their network services. They themselves are not aware/informed about their own package content. How pity full is it? It is shame on them to manage their services in this way. It is consumer to be sufferer due to their shameful negligence.

                              Please check below mention trail mail which was i had sent to tata sky team. After seven days over till now, they did not take responsibility for that why i don't know???
                              Also, the supervisor, tl and manager are not available on the floor. Everyone has busy with his work. They are totally aware of customer satisfaction.

                              Today i had a talked with tata sky customer executive mr. Nayan, aftab, pritam but while information is given call has been disconnected his end. What the hell???

                              Kindly audit this call from the external quality team and look into the matter and take action immediately. Please let me know.

Parinita due to call has disconnected without complete information why i don't know???

                              It a totally miss managed service tata sky is giving services also totally unsatisfied with the service. I should say these organizations are charging money in regular basis for not giving any facility, they are not cooperative. They talk big during the sales and once the goods sold, they pay no need to customers problems. The charges for every damn thing and they are cheating the employees, organizations because they don't think about the customer and they are only worried about their quarterly profit.

                              Such is the pathetic situation

                              Hence, i request u to that actually i've put a complaint about tata sky bad service nothing more else totally worst service.

                              Please help out me how to gets this retaliation to offer urgently or i'm requesting to all team that please provide any solution for the same issued and escalated this matter to concern department and take action immediately also give my docket number and call back my number accordingly for the customer service experience nothing more else.

                                I didn't use the service for 4 months. Then i recharged today but it is not working.
                                On the tv, there is just a blank screen with a message : "this is the wrong card for this set top box (Pairing error). Nds no.[protected] digicard id[protected]"

                                Please resolve this problem as i trust your good company. I am a loyal tata sky consumer.

                                Hi! We understand your concern. Please turn off the set-top box. Remove the digicard and wipe it with a soft dry cloth and then insert the digicard into the slot. Turn it on and check if the problem persists

                                  I chosen a sport package on tata sky website which was rs 1350 now tata sky without informing us has raised the price to rs 1820 they that if you are package price is rs 500 the multi box will cost the same that means i am paying for a new box. They did not even inform me regarding this. No advertise as well. So basically that should be informed. To the customer

                                  These changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) services Tariff Order 2017" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on 3-Jul-2018. The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV)

                                    First I select my channels on 27 jan but they not shown on 1st feb. On 1st feb all channel not broadcasted to me as per
                                    my selection. And today When live match start they stop telecast of DD Sports channel. I call to customer care for this complaint but they disconnected the call.
                                    As per the try new rules & regulations there will be shows 100 channels in 153 then how can they stop the telecast of DD sports??
                                    Please take my complaint against Tata sky & resolve the issue at the earliest.

                                      Prior to 28th jan and prior to the trai deadline of 31st jan, 2019, i had an annual package with a positive balance of around 177 and an expiry /renewal date of oct 2019!

                                      Based on the recent superb "activation in a jiffy as good as 1-2-3""advertisement of tata sky i went to their site and was advised to renew the existing at rs 795 per month! Instead i did some looking around and chose a combi of the broadcaster packs and a la carte channels after a search for over 30 mins! The total pack came much lower for roughly 561.60 per month as per summary and so i clicked ok!

                                      Guess what all happens thereafter? :

                                      1) my vod program recording facility stops saying i have not paid the tata sky + usage fee (When i have paid in advance till oct 2019)!!

                                      2) i get a sms yesterday saying i need to recharge again day after — in 2 days (When there must have been at least rs 6000 balance in my account)!!

                                      3) i do not get many of the channels that i have opted for, like times now, wion and republic tv (Which is free!!)

                                      4) called the toll free no of the tata sky call centre and the standard message is"estimated wait time is 2 mins" — this message goes on for 10 mins and more! In many cases the call drops on connection!

                                      5) when i got through once the agent told me it is the channel broadcasters issue — when i told him the channel comes in my other home in the same building he had no answer or justification!!

                                      And all this is after trai had asked broadcasters sometime in the 1st week of december 2018 and asked them to migrate customers to the new package regime! No preparations made to handle customers at all!!

                                        Earlier the multi room charges was rs 200/- per each multiform connection. After the new trai rule came to effect, tata sky has increased the charges 300%. (Rs. 600/- now). This is too much. This is really screwing the customer. Trai should take the note of this and do the necessary action.in what base they have increased the multi room charges so high?

                                        2) there is no clarity of selecting the ala carte channels and pricing.

                                        Due to the implementation of the new Tariff order the input costs for MultiTV connections have increased, which has resulted in a marginal increase in MultiTV prices. However, continuing with a MultiTV connection is still more value for money than going for a new DTH/cable connection.
