Since the day i opted this service they are unable to provide the speed we are paying for. I have been open a complaint so many times but they give a # to it. I am totally fedup with their services and my work is impacting as well. It is not just their service is worst but their support and response time like hell. If you want to harass unselfish only then opt this connection.

Tata SKY providing very bad services and also his sales executive misguided during connection time.

They offered to provide me 500GB Data as a Bonus. But all commitment was fake.
Even they said to me 250GB Data already added in my account. But they lie.

After week my speed was revised to 512kbps . I have trying to complaint but customer care No. Is not working. Then discuss sales executive who provide me that connection. He checked by account and told me, I have consumed more than 75GB thats why my speed revised.

I have tried to discuss on customer care services then I got information, still I have 47GB data.

I am totally frustrated with their services and my work is impacting as well. It is not just their service is worst but their support and response time like hell.

I request to all my friends please ignore if you are planning for Tara broadband services..

Refund was requested through Customer care on 07.06.2019 & sent to [protected]@tata sky broadband but of No use as till now No refund & try talking to sales people including senior Mr Prashant of Noida region then he also does not have any status/ answer as when Refund will be there rather don't pick up the phone, horrible conditions. Some strict actions required as my money not refunded even after 15 days & cust care says will take, as per procedure 60-70 days but then I asked in writing but No mail. VERY POOR RESPONSE & People r also erratic which spoils the Tata Company Name.

Pl. arrange to Refund my money soon & take corrective actions on yr staff & advise.

No internet since 15 days! Complaints raised are in open state. Updating this forum using some other service provider. How shame!

    I have chosen a pack named “marathi hindi premium sports english” for which i am paying rs. 346 per month. Also i have to pay rs. 176 per month as “network fee” for 125 fixed free channels. Totally, it is rs. 522 per month.
    The problem is that the channel “republic tv” (Number 616) is not included!! Though it is a free channel!!!
    I manually tried to add it through tata sky app. Surprisingly, i am informed i will have to pay additional rs. 23 per month for adding this free channel!!! (As the “network fee” changes from rs. 176 for 125 free channels to rs. 199 as channels change from 125 to 126, increase of one channel though it is free channel!!!)
    Important part is that customer has no option reduce or change the fixed 125 channels.
    Will trai look into matter and redress this cheating?
    The whole system design by tata sky is to charge customers rs. 23 per month for seeing a free channel!!!

    Hi, as per the new pricing regulation, NCF charges of Rs.153 pm (incl. of taxes) will be applicable even if you opt for FTA channels only. If you opt for > 100 FTA SD channels, then additional NCF charges of Rs.23 pm (incl. of taxes) for every 25 additional SD FTA channels will be applicable.
    I have opted for package, but number of opted channel are not coming and I am being charged. I am not able to get/edit my package. The website is very misguiding. Infact there is no option to edit the package. You are looting the customer. Attaching the photo of deceive by you.

      Dear sir,

      Tata sky subscriber id: [protected]

      I bring to your notice that despite several reminders and follow up on your toll free number, i am left disgusted in not receiving the channels i have subscribed to. And this morning despite my several attempts to reach your help line, i am disappointed that i could not connect to resolve the issue.

      I did exercise my choice of channels before 31st jan itself. To my dismay i am not receiving any free channels while some paid channels are coming. Predominantly all news channels are not coming including dd news.

      And payment is due today for continuing my subscription, i have multi tv connections three out of which i am currently using only two.

      I am so tired calling your toll free number several times. Can i seek a call back by someone who can speak english to resolve the issue. I am ready to make online recharge only when i am sure that i am going to get channels which i choose.

        Sir this is to bring to ur notice that adds on television is fooling common people... Entertainment is not for common people this government is proving this.. Really tired of getting fooled in the name of gst.. We were watching all the channels by paying 250 rs or 310rs but for the same thing now we have to pay 650 to 700 do u think this is help to common people...         Hi, with the implementation of the new pricing regulations on all Cable, DTH and IPTV operators, broadcaster channels and packages will now cost the same for all operators in the market and Tata Sky will not be expensive as compared to anyone else. Also, in order to prevent the hassle o[censored]nderstanding and choosing from so many broadcaster packs, Tata Sky has curated recommended packs using the same the broadcaster packs and channels to best suit your viewing requirements.
        Tatasky is not cooperative regarding the new TRAI order . Their charges for add on connection in the same house has increased. No clarity regarding free channels.

However, it is still discounted as compared to a new primary connection altogether. We recommend that you continue with your MultiTV connections so that you can avail the benefits of the discounted MultiTV packs. I am not able to get the chance to say my problems...i had been there in corporate and I hadnt...but cause I had been representing on be half of company..you all come forward or else I will be go...what I am suffering from your end...that no one else won't get..

          Today again Tata sky dropped live telecasting of Cricket match on 453 DDsport.even talked with customer care person Devi Guneriya from Tata sky.They said that we have order from court to not telecast chanel However it's free chanel as per TRAI and service provider till making fool people's.

            Today i got sms from tata sky on my registered mobile that following pay channel activate on your tata sky account id [protected]. That is
            1. Utv bindass rs. 9/00 pm
            2. Discovery science at rs. 17/00 om
            3. Discovery turbo at rs 20/00 pm
            4. History tv at rs. 17/00 pm
            5 movie ok at rs. 16/00 pm
            6 zee business at rs 5/00 pm
            7 net geo wild at rs. 17/00 pm

            They also wrote if you wish to discontinue the pack send sms on 56633 with their disconnection code.

            But i never had choose these costly channel when i select my pack on 01/02/2019
            Tata sky included these costly cahnnel in my pack without my con sent.

              I opted for a la carte mode for selecting the channels to view on Tata Sky.We have one connection of Tata sky which runs on three TVs of my house and suddenly I learnt that connection extension to the additional TVs would now be costing 33 % more ... whew that's a sudden steep hike ! Among the channels I selected were Travel XP HD and Sony Entertainment SET which I have been viewing on Tata sky si that nce many years.When I submitted my list of channels online I received a sms on my RMN ( mobile ) confirming that my request has been successfully processed.My monthly recharge would be Rs 862/- and next recharge date is 01.05.2019.However I was shocked when my most viewed channels Travel XP and SET were absent from the pack.I talked to their help line on 03.02.19 ( this talk is possible only after 25-30 tedious attempts as their rep. is never available and music plays on perpetually testing your patience ).But the channels never showed.Then twice I sent sms with RMN on 56633 but to no gain.This is simply BAD SERVICE !! Tata sky need to attend now ...my id is [protected]. - Saurabh Srivastav, Bhopal.

                I lost my mobile even though i forgotten my register number so i want to change with my new number...many times i tried to contact's tata sky helpline but they couldn't respond...so as soon as possible plz help me to change the number and send me the monthly package details it helps me to knw my packages.

                  Trai proudly announced the subscriptions for dth under new guidelines is consumer friendly but in fact it is not so: for example, i was paying rs.215/- monthly for my telugu package which includes five hd channels upto january19. But, the same is being charged rs.290/- and for that, i lost connectivity of five hd channels without any extra channels. Please review your guidelines and resolve the packages more consumer friendly. For example, your stipulations for the providers to charge upto rs.19/- per month - with this stipulation all channel providers are getting heavy bucks and ultimately we the consumers are loosing heavily. Please ensure that under any regional package (All hd channels) with free channels should not exceed rs.180/- to rs.200/- per month.

                  Hi, as per the new pricing regulation the existing Tata Sky base/add-on/regional/etc packages will be discontinued and only the new Tata Sky packs and the broadcaster packs will be available on the platform. However, you need not worry as through the new Tata Sky Recommended packs you will able to continue to enjoy most of the channels that you viewed earlier. You may still add/remove packs/channels in your subscription, as per your choice too by going to www.mytatasky.com or the nearest Tata Sky dealer post the go-live of Tariff order.
                  Suddenly not getting my mega pack asked to buy individual channel. End this stupidity at earliest.

                  I have main HD set top box. The charge for extra SD set box was Rs2750/per year. Now the charge is Rs 500/- per month or Rs6000 per year. An increase of more than 118%! Your customer care says that this is Trai’s regulated charge. This is highway robbery.

                  Hi, due to the implementation of the new Tariff order the input costs for MultiTV connections have increased, which has resulted in a marginal increase in MultiTV prices. However, continuing with a MultiTV connection is still more value for money than going for a new DTH/cable connection.
                  Your reply is not convincing. The charge has increased by a whopping figure of more than 118%. This is certainly not a “marginal increase”.

                  You have literally brought back the charge to what it was before the Trai rules and if one has 2 additional connections, then the charges will become more than what they were before the new rules.

                  It is obvious that Tata Sky has found a loop hole and perhaps the matter should be referred to Trai to take the necessary action as the whole, e purpose and intent behind Trai rules is defeated.

                  Tata Sky should seriously look at its conscience. This certainly is a disgrace to the good name of a Tata, a company that is known for its reputation of being fair.

                    My subscriber id is [protected]. Kindly deactive the active vedhic maths pack. I dont want to have this channel. When you give subscribe option you should give unsubscribe as well. If vedhic maths continues in my pack i will get new connection from soneother service provider and close this network. Do it asap. Not this channel connection only even in my house and in my uncle house we are using tata sky.. I will stop all that

                      Why you guys are fooling to customer on the name of fta basic pack. All other company's are providing all free to air channel in the pack of rs 130. Trai mandate pack. But you guys are fooling us. Because in your 130 rs pack. So many channels are not thier which trai provideing in mandate pack channels like "b4u movies, star utsav, star bharat, sony pal, b4u musin, masti, sony mix..                         My dth number is [protected]. After waiting forever to get some lead on implementation of trai guidelines, i stumbled upon the pack selection module on tatasky website (Probably taken off by them now) and notice there were just 3-4 options to choose from. Instead of allowing us to choose 100 free to air channels for basic rate rs. 130/- + further channel-wise pack selctions, tata sky had offered (1) a pack allegedly based upon my viewership pattern, (2) a couple of random combinations of mix & match, and (3) a long list of alphabetically listed individual channels, both paid & free, from which we had to choose each individual channel we desire to view. Since, my original pack was @ rs.930 per month & there were several channels (Which i view) missing from the 'ready-made' 'viewership pattern' based pack they were offering, i chose to pick individual channels from the long individual channel list. After i had finished selecting, it was flashed that my selection pack would cost rs.845/- per month. I confirmed this and re-charged with a nominal amount enough for about 10-15 days. Though my connection was recharged, there was no information update either on my phone via sms or on my tv or via email or even a phone call. When i called the customer helpline, i was informed that my connection was charged till 15/2/2019. However, to my utter horror, i received a message (Sms) a couple of days back that cost of my selection pack was rs. 1004/- per month (Instead of rs. 845/- as flashed after i did my selection) and recharge was valid till only 10/2/2019 (And not 15/2/2019 as informed telephonically). Now, i don't know how to get these tata sky guys to act responsibly. If this is being allowed only because of the tata name and trai/govt. Can't stop these bullies from blackmailing customers, then, i am sure that lakhs of customers like me will seriously think of changing the service-provider, or better still, simple throw the dth equipment out in the dust bin and opt for smart internet tv - at least we will not feel constantly cheated by dth providers 'gangster' behaviuor like tata sky. It is also pertinent to mention that the tatasky customer care (Or rather customer bullying) executives proudly inform us that they are charging rs. 250/- basic rate instead of the rs. 130/- fixed by trai. I hope this & many thousands of complaints are understood, taken seriously and redressed at an early date. Shame of tata sky

                            My Tata Sky subscribed id is [protected]. Last Saturday i.e 2-2-2019 I lodged a complaint regarding my problems in the set top box. The box was taken for repairs by the person concerned that day itself and a replacement was promised by Monday. Since I got no intimation from their end, I called them back on the afternoon of Monday i.e 4-2-2019. I was informed that the new set top box received was not working and hence I would have to wait till the next day. The next day again, there was no information from their side and hence I had to call them again in the afternoon. Today on the 6th of February, 2019 when I was again not contacted by them, I called them in the evening to which they replied that the boxes were yet to be received by them and hence I could be provided the box possibly by tomorrow. I may also add here that all the correspondences were initiated from my end. I also mailed to the Tata Sky customer care mail id regarding my problem to which there was an automated response stating I would be contacted by a Tata Sky representative shortly which did not materialise at all. All these, I feel is really painstaking for any customer and the service rendered so far is really inefficient and incompetent.

                              My recharge is upto 05/04/2019 for dhamal mix with hd, as per trai rules i changed for basic + music without hd (153+7=160 pm) but could not activated due to short balance whereas my deposit is upto 05/04/2019 and hd service is deactivated without information.
                              After contacted on tollfree i was told that i have to recharge for new services which is s surprised matter when you have two months advance of dhamal mix mix with hd aprox 800/ which can be used for 5 months as per my change then why should i again recharge
                              Looking to this either activate dhamal mix with hd or change as per new rules for aprox 5 months under intimation to me.

                                Hello,
                                Its very disappointing to say that tata sky has time and again consistently been one of the most agonizing company that i have been associated with through your stb. And here is the the latest incidence that has happened.
                                I subscribed for few hd channels (Sab tv hd and zee tv hd along with a few other).in the same process, i de-activated a few other channels too. After reaching home, i found that the de-activated channels have been promptly taken action on. I am no longer able to view them. But the aforementioned activated channels were still not viewable. I got in touch with the tata sky on their toll free number. But as usual it was busy so i disconnected. Then i again tried the toll free number yesterday morning around 10:25. The service executive asked me to be in front of the television set and call them. I called them back around 19:30. Somehow the lines were cross connected and i could hear the other customer breaking his head with tata sky.
                                The executive asked me to drop the call and i will receive call back. Finally i received the call from tata sky around 19:43. I was speaking to an executive named sonali sinha. She was prompt in saying that i will be helped to get the lost channels back. She helped me through the process of testing the signal strength, but i was unable to view the channels. Post which she asked me to place a service technician visit and i will be charged for the same. I am unwilling to pay any charges if it isnt my fault. While subscribing the channels, i was not told that this may require a technical help and which will be charged or else i would not have gone ahead and changed my package. I asked to connect to her supervisor.
                                After waiting for almost 15 minutes, mr. Varun raj came online as her supervisor. Even he was not able to help me restore my subscribed channels. By then i saw that i had lost all the channels which were working fine before my call to tata sky help desk. By all this time it was already 40 minutes on call with tata sky. Now i was even more infuriated and asked for his supervisor.

                                After waiting for 5 odd minutes, i was on call with mr. Nagesh (He denied giving me his full name). The way mr. Nagesh spoke itself was very rude and uncalled for. Instead of solving my problem, he was more interested in getting a technician over to my place at my cost. I was very clear that, if the problem was from my end, i will bear the entire cost. But he failed to convince me that the problem was from my end. Why should i pay if the it is not my problem? As mentioned numerous times over the call that the channels worked fine before the call and now i have lost all the channels instead of just 2 which was the problem initially.

                                In between the call, he asked me for my address and i told him that i have relocated. And after changing my address, i had placed a call to tata sky (Around 15th or 16th january i dont remember the exact date and time) saying that i have relocated and the new place has tata sky dish antenna. I asked the then service exective if my connection would work fine. He was of the opinion that it should work with my stb and digi card which is what i also expected as it was the most logical thing.

                                But mr. Nagesh was hell bent on proving that it was my fault that i did not place a call with tata sky for technician visit after relocation. Why should i pay for something which works just by connecting a few cables and inserting the digicard? So, instead of solving my current problem tata sky is trying to put their faults on my head that i did not place the service call. Is tata sky acting like the company where customer are made to run from pillar to post and thereafter told that it is their mistake one way or the other?

                                I wish to end my frustration with tata sky service. Hope you will be able to help or else i may have to think about something else.

                                  I bought new tata sky dth connection on 16 dec 18. I was provided with free pack for 1 month. My pack was of rs 560 after expiry of free pack i got reminder msgs for rc amount of rs 560 and i did the same as instructed but they changed my pack to rs 735 without informing me. When i complained to cc about this they ve no satisfactory reply just trying to bluff. I even cant change my pack through cc on call or from online website of tatasky as i could not login due to their mistakes.
                                  I am aggrieved by their acts with wrong intent. I want justice. Punish them.

                                  With the discontinuation of old packs all the ancilliary benefits available with them will be discontinued also. These changes are being made in order to comply with the "Telecommunication (Broadcasting and Cable) services Tariff Order 2017" issued by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on 3-Jul-2018. The said order is applicable on all broadcasters (such as Star, Sony, Zee, etc) and distributors of content such as DTH operators, Cable operators and Internet Protocol TV (IPTV).
                                  read my complaint and their reply they are just trying to change the track and not replying my complaint. they charged me wrong and didnt solved my problem. complaint is still pending.

                                    I am a long term subscriber of tata sky ultra pack which expires in june 2019. They have migrated me to tamil malayalam sports english package which costs me rs 952/- per month vis a vis my earlier package which cost me around rs 750 only. I am unable to select the channels as per trai guidelines as here is no option available on tata sky website for dropping channels. I am paying for channels which i dont require. I am being fleeced by tatasky by adopting the new trai guidelines.

                                      Based on trai communication i subscribed for packages as per new rule on time. I got on-screen confirmation from tatasky. But no written confirmation either sms or email.
                                      However so far channels are not available as per the subscription. Online portal does not work properly!

                                      After 2days of new rule, my service has been terminated & my balance carried forward from last month set to zero.

                                      Written email complaints are not responded so far. Customer support (Call) on his first call admitted the issue while migrating to new rule & assured to correct.
                                      However when i contacted even when this issue continued - ignored my complaint & demanded the payment. They remain deaf for customer complaint; just demand to make the payment without listening to their service complaint

                                      I am subscriber of Tata sky since last 15 years. As far as their services are concerned which is very poor and worst.

                                      Now I have recharged on 1/2/2019 for Rs. 330/- for selected channels as per new framework but still they are continuing wiyh old package.

                                      Kindly action should be taken for violating Govt. rule and regulations.

                                        Hi, this is prasanth. I am a tatasky dth user. I am a long term validity pack user. Based on the trai dth regulation i received a message to select the channels from tatasky. And i have contacted customer care of tatasky and they said the same please select the channel on or before 6th february 2019 otherwise it ll forcely migrate to relevant pack. Regarding this i have contacted trai customer care they said long term validity users can continue the same pack till the validity expires. I dont like to change my current plan untill it expires. So please continue my long term validity pack as it is expires.
