Two days back, i purchased a new tata sky connection online. A tata sky agent has come and done the installation. The box provided does not support my tv. So i asked the agent to cancel the connection and take back the box. I was given a reply that it will work if i get a new tv and left. They have asked me to contact customer care for any queries. I waited for 10 minutes on the customer care only to get disconnected. this has happened multiple times. I am trying to escalate the issue.

    Hi Tatasky,
    As discussed with you i have drop out two package star sports & HD Chanel last month successfully .but those still reenable in my account when i have checked this month for monthly payment .

    this month i have again drop out both same package and take snapshot same .
    After sometime i have re verify its again re enable.Due to this i am paying unnecessary amount to tatasky

    this is completely scam of tatasky foe innocent costumer

    two thing are happening first Tata sky ebsite is fake either Tatasky is doing scam

      Complaint numbers- 12ULMZ60 / 12VKMRWG
      We have 3 Tata Sky Connections at our home in 3 different rooms. On 30th January we had requested one connection from the guest room box to be de-activated. Instead 2 of the other boxes were deactivated and the one active did not run any of our premium paid channels.
      Technicians arrived in the morning(31st ) and fixed 2 (Tata Sky + and HD) boxes and all the channels were running. The third box wasn't receiving any signal and no light was coming on, so that was taken out and kept aside. They asked us to request for deactivation again.
      By afternoon, the HD box wasn't working again. When called again to complain, we were accused of providing the wrong box number in the first place. (Please explain, if I am walking into one room and reading out a number, how can I possibly make the mistake of giving a number of another room's box altogether, which I don't even know). However, I said fine, let it be, even if I made a mistake(God knows how!). The technician on the phone kept telling my mother 'wo ladki ne galat bataya, ladki ki galti hai'. a) that is no way to talk about a customer. She obviously got furious and asked him to mind his language. He called again(4th time) and I spoke. He accused me on my face. I explained to him that the box which wasn't working in the morning is obviously the one de activated. Your technician fixed the other box, which is still active, only that it doesn;t show any special channels. The guy refused to believe me, kept saying, that particular box is de activated. He asked for the box number again (4th time in this very conversation), I gave it to him and he said, this box has been requested for de activation (how is that possible when it was fixed by your team in the morning, plus it is still working!). He asked me for the box number again and that's where I lost it and asked him to go die. In return he told me it was my fault and he was just trying to help me. His name he said was Arnab/Arnav Singh.
      I am 27 and both me an my mom are working . We happened to be working from home today, doesn't mean we'll keep going from room to room giving Tata Sky numbers to ### who just too slow.

          To whomsoever it may concern
          Respected authority,

          Due to recent transfer of big tv customers to tata sky, it was promised to the customers that the entire remaining balance from big tv as on 3rd nov. 2017 shall be transferred back to us and the set top boxes will be replaced by the tata sky personnel free of cost. However, the remaining balance of the big tv account has not been yet accredited to tata sky account and it has been 3 months since they are delaying the process. From this, two conclusions can be drawn, either the funds were transferred to tata sky from big tv and it has not been given to us yet, or that big tv has not yet reimbursed the amount, and if that is the case, isn't it violating the contract set up between tata sky and itself as tata sky would have binded it to return the balances of customers it had. Either way tata sky either shouldn't have taken over or must return the account balances to its new subscribers.

          3 months time period and yet no clear assurance as to whether i will receive back the amount is clearly a negligence on its part of work and it shows how ethically tata sky deals in its business. After many failed attempts since past three months to retrieve back the amount, it has finally occurred to me that there is no way i will be receiving back a thousand rupees balance i had in my big tv and sought to appeal here. Hope you take some strict actions against this injustice and this incomprehensible delays as well as negligence of work.

            I did a relocation in the month of may. When i did the relocation, tata sky was not there in my apartment. So, the team suggested me to install the dish. As per the initial conversation, as i am the premium customer, relocation fee wont be charged (They didn't charge too) and as i never took the dish, i don't have to pay the price of dish and installation equipments. Then a lot of discussions happened and in the further conversations they told me that i need to pay the dish price and installation materials too. But, as i was told earlier and i shiouldnt pay for the first time dish installation, i was not ready to pay. They told me to revert, which they didn't do.

            Now...
            I was out of station for 2 months and i didn't request for suspension. As my service was getting expired in that time frame, i thought of going for a new recharge now. When i checked the tata sky balance, i found it as rs.-769. I contacted tata sky again. My condition was will recharge the next semi-annual pack once u revert this negative balance. Representative told me that, 'mam, it'll be done. You can recharge now.' today i got a call from tata sky giving the details of amount amount deducted. And as per them they cant help me now as the complain is regarding the negative balance i have. This should have been resolved then. They cant help now.

            Poorest service ever. I need refund of my 769rs.

              Ref id [protected] it is submitted that initially i took plan of rs.299/= then in the next term company's executive solicited me to get plan of rs 399 with a facility to watch all sports channels and news channels for one month and i agreed, but just after 21 days company deactivated the service without pre informatiom i inquired about the deactivation for a lot of times but the concerned executive had a regular reply ""your credit exhausted and recharge.in a long struggle i able to talk to a senior executive who told me that my plan was converted into hd plan (For which i never requested) i protested why without my consent they converted it into hd. Then they admitted their mistake and request me to recharge. I told it is mistake in your part and you have to reconcile it immediately otherwise matter will be produced to higher authority and then they debited 49.41 amount into my account and said enjoy for another 3 days again i objected for this then they again told that some mistake took place and advise me to recharge again i objected and another incharge executive told me that i can enjoy the services upto 31/1/18 and posted a credit of rs 152.16 into my a/c. Thereafter company deactivated my link on closing of 27/1/18 and sent sms to this nature.
              Now not only i but whole my family are very much disturbed for this act of deactivation, conversion of plan without consumer's request and trying to settle the matters in a improper or false ways. This is nothing but forfeiting the rights of consumer. I have a good faith in tata sky but now this is diminishing.

              Please go through and revert soon.

                I add three channels in my subscription last week and now not want to continue for one month.
                How can i do this?
                My subscription before adding three channel was upto may 2018 and after addition it is march 2018 while three channel addition cost was ₹ 70.00. How is it possible. It shoulbe 15 days earlier before addition of three channels.

                I am using tata sky dth in my home since oct 2018. I have added three channels number _130, 117 & 149 for one month but now i am not interested to continue it for a month. Pl stop three channel as i have written above. Three channels addition charges was rs 70.00 for a month. As on november subscription was up to may 2018. Now it is upto march 2018. How it was calculated.

                  On 26th jan, tata sky salesman came to our house and told that there is an offer for this day only and that is for monthly 200 rupees you can watch all hindi, telugu and english channel. We have paid rs. 4200 for 2 connections.
                  But when yesterday technician came to install, he told that you can view only telugu and some hindi channels and no english channels. I also paid rupees 400 to the technician for extra cable

                  I want to cancel the subscription and refund the full payment

                    Tata sky technician visited my house on complaint of no proper picture (Continously picture rolling and no picture) he replaced the set top box saying that the tv was getting low signal. Evev after replacement of the box the same complaint existed and was informed by the technician that was fault in the tv which was later repaired by a tv technician..
                    Why was the set top box replaced..?
                    Why i was not informed about the charges?
                    How can tata sky deduct rs. 400/=from my subscription charges by just sending one sms about charges.
                    How can "tata sky" reduce the number of days from my subscription period (28 days =1month)??

                      I had made a complaint on 25/1/18 evening that my stb is not receiving signals. The technician damodaran (Mobile no. [protected]) attended to the complaint the next day morning.

                      He didn't ask me what the complaint was. He switched on stb and tv. Just changed the digicard and left. When i checked immediately i couldn't change channel. I called him at once and told him to come back and rectify. Before he came i took out the card and found it was an old, used card, plastic film on the card was coming off along one edge and a corner, there were scratches on the arrow printed on the card. Besides when he came back he had to pull out and reinsert card several times to make it work. When i questioned him about all these he insisted it is new card.

                      My tv is now working with that card he put, but how long will it work.

                      Please look into this, make the technician give us a new card then charge me for it. My stb is on warranty.

                      Their explanation was not satisfactory. This is what they had to day : our digicard was not working, they replaced it and the STB is receiving signals. So long as the STB works I cannot complain even if it is old, used card they given me.

                        My tata sky id # is: [protected]. And my mobile # is [protected]. On january 26 2018 in nanjangud karnataka india i recharged for some 350 rupies for the all english packs. But yet even though my setup box gets your signal it will not allow me to access your all english recharged packs that i payed you for. Why?? Your help desk only asks me for connections and other trouble shooting procedures, witch by the way all passed. Still no services provided from you to i why??? But i still do believe you would still want to make a money profit from me from the re-setting of your own tatsky signal, and/or for the tataskys service mans visit to my residence in-order to reset the movement of your own tata-skys satellites new frequented signal movements. Note : please just reset my tata-sky setupbox to receive your new localized satellites signalized transmission, for free. Tkank-you.

                          You cheaters!!! To hell with u and ur company.. 2months ago your dealer came for installation of dish. He told me and had made this thing very clear that your company will give me one additional pack free of cost for one month and after one month it would cut down automatically.. On 10 jan i recharged worth ₹199 but now you frauds are asking for ₹364.. For what.. Why i will pay? Its all your fault.. It's all your mistake.. So how dare you guys to ask me for money? You people are disgusting. Fix this problem immediately!!

                            Few days ago my tata sky dth set top box stopped working.
                            I went to service center and got replaced with a fee of rs. 625.
                            But, yesterday the digicard which was inserted in the new set top box stopped working. I have a conversation over phone to the customer care but the problem again arises.
                            So now i need a help.
                            If this is the problem with tatasky dth service then what is the use of this type of service.

                              While your engineers came for installation they are not at all cooperating with us... And they left the palce without installing the device... And they cancelled the order n not telling about the refund process.. Either u shoud install the device or you should totally cancel the order and refund our money.                                 Tata sky is cheat company i complaint in consumer department for refund of my amount of rupees 2295 but they called me asked my card number to tranfer the money which i have them but later monet has not come in my a. C. Then again callwd to tata sky cheat company mr satish told no sir that otp was asked for closure of my consumer complaint.
                                Busturd company is tata sky.
                                After long debates cheat company sent technician but they were asking for charge i have them basu finally did the service free but debited my a. C.. Bloody tata sky i don't want to keep your bloody connection simply through it out from home and refund me my 2295.

                                  Since last 7 years, i have tata sky connection. So i am valuable customer of tata sky. My tata sky is [protected]. But last 9 days i have facing problem from tata sky regarding service. On 17th january, i went to recharge my tata sky account in nearest shop. Then after shopkeeper done recharged rs. 600 in wrong subscriber i'd through paytm. And wrong subscriber id is [protected]. Then i complained in tata sky through tata sky help line number [protected] and i requested in tata sky for transfer my recharge money rs. 600 in my subscriber account. After 9 days, they did not give right solution. Still today my tata sky account is deactivate.

                                    Your dealer told the plan something else and gave something else, i did not get any help from customer care and your backup team also did not help. I am really upset, please help me.. I want return my money.

                                        Sir just back 20 days on 05.01.2018 i had updated my tata sky set of box to HD set of box. In that time the dealer has charge me 1000 for HD connection and they had promises to give 3 month free services of mine existing channel packs. And also after subscribed i had got confirmation sms from tata sky dat i had research 900 and the present balance is 1200+ and next research date will be 31.03.2018. But problem is that after. Just 20 days they are sending me dat my next research daye is 29.01.18 sir how can it possible not even a month i have availed my free month services. Its really unfair and unlawful act from tata sky. Sir i have tried to tackle this aforesaid problem by calling tata sky customer care but they are helples and sir wolug bahana karrai network tik ni sunai ni derai and service charge deduct huwai sir jab deduct karnata to pehle full information denai customer ko.
