    On 12th March 2017, two marketing persons from Appco Marketing India visited my house and offered below service with a new connection of Tata Sky as a Holi offer (One was Miss Kalpana ([protected]) & her Manager – Miss Khusi([protected]) ) the receipt no. is 202396 and I am fighting to avail those false made promises;

    1) Paid Rs 4, 300/- for two HD setup boxes for my two TV
    2) The marketing person promised to give 3 months free viewing option with all the channels (including Hindi, English & Hindi news, English movie, Sports along with 3 regional channels – Kannada, Oriya, Bengali for life time free)
    3) This offer would give HD Zapper technology, so viewers can watch the daily soap serials without any commercial breaks.
    4) This would work using Smart card technology so monthly viewing charge would be less as charges would be calculated as per customer watches (per day charge)
    5) HD Zapper technology would give picture like, the appearance would be full screen (as in the normal subscription some of the bottom & top part won’t appear for many channels)

    On 2nd April '17 the installation was over by contacting Miss Priya from Tata Sky([protected]) but she is not picking-up calls since then till now and currently only I am recieving 12-15 channels (5 HD channels out of these). I tried to reach your officials, help line, customer care to get the service in points – 2, 3, 4, & 5 as above.
    Today I called Appco Group India - [protected] & spoke to Miss Priyanka about my concern, but still there is no information about the action taken from your end. In the receipt it is written as package: DMP (Dhamal Mix Package) but as per Tata Sky customer care I have been provided with South Sports channel which is very low price package.
    I had a discussion with Tata Sky customer care manager Mr. Tarun which was connected by Tata Sky customer care executive and according to him this dealer's fault but I requested him to modify the monthly free plan to Dhamal Mix Package (as promised/written in the receipt given by Appco Marketing India). I came to know that Appco Group India is the official business partner of Tata Sky and I am surprised that how Tat Sky is maintaining this partnership with so many customer complaints logged in for months together.
    Being a Tata employee I thought there won’t be any fight to get these offers.
    I want to fix this problem by the earliest or I have to reach some higher officials to get it done.
    For your information I came to know that many customers are very much unhappy with Appco India service & organization rating is very low due to this. I think you need to improve your service process.

      I have shifted within the same city. I do not need relocation service from tata sky. In my new building, there is common connection of tata Sky and I have installed my tata sky box, however it is not receiving the signal. When I asked their executive to visit my place, I was told there will be visiting charges of 200 - I agreed with that. Now, they are telling I will have to put relocation request for which there will be charges of 300. Can someone tell why is it mandatory to raise relocation request when I do not want their relocation services? I have already installed set up in the building and have set up the box in my flat - why are they insisting for relocation request and additional charges?
      This is extremely poor customer service. Tata Sky simply harasses its customers.

      You better keep charging for every thing under the sky in the name of tata sky, we will switch to another service provider if such things continue. it's not that if we have already invested in tata sky box, we will stick to it.
      Eventually concern not addressed, complaint not resolved, I had to eventually pay 300 as relocation charges to the executive to start the services again after 5 days.

WHDJ70C date:[protected] and they Told that it is chargeable and i say ok but no action taken only harassment. I call more than 10 time and adviser are behaving like we are not customer and not take anything seriously they do what they want to do as This is monopoly i am very upset from this service otherwise not resolve this issue closed my account and refund my balance I go other DTH service…..

                  I am trying to disconnect tata sky. I have repeatedly called them but they pass the buck to their back end team on disconnection. Back End team calls but do not continue the conversation. Hence we are unable to disconnect the tata sky connection. Consumer number: [protected]. Again when I call the customer care number, they try to delay the call.
                  Back team keeps calling but do not fully undersand the request because they dont speak English.

                    Looks like Tata Sky wanted to play April Fools on me. Ordered their Showcase movie tonight. The channel wasnt working. After talking with two different people it was fixed. Then, I was told I can watch the movie only till midnight. While booking I am told I can watch the movie for a day. I asked either I want it for a day or a refund. Was told their process doesnt allow either and I can talk with complaint department and billing department. Talked with 7 different personnel at the service center, who disconnected the call each time. Or transferred calls which never get picked. One of them lied, a complaint was registered. Another was unwilling to share the complaint reference number. After several cajoling she shared the complaint number. These folks are not at all empathetic and acts like robots. And blame it on process. I am very much tempted to cancel they account.

                    On a different note, they also took out lot of channels since I opened the account.

                      I am not able to watch a lot of channels such as sony HD, star gold, life ok, etc. which are a part of my pack.. when I submitted the complaint to tata sky, a representative told me that there is some technical issue and she'll send me a technician to whom i'll have to pay Rs. 200 for his visit.. Why should I pay anything when there is no fault of mine... 50% channels are coming and rest are not working.. eg.- sony is coming and sony hd and sony hd+ is not working... star gold hd is coming and star gold is not working... most of the hindi movie channels are not working.. there is a message prompting- "it may be cloudy or raining out there" when the sun is on with a temperature of around 40 degrees...my monthly pack is of Rs. 729..

                        It is very sad to see a reputed company like Tata sky fleecing people in broad daylight. I have had to replace my HD Settop box three times within a span of 5 months and paying Rs. 400 each time. The service engineers give you faulty repaired boxes and give a warranty of 1 month, but the settop box has been conking off with regularity every 2 months. the first time it was changed was in November 2016 and it promptly conked off in Jan 2017 and was replaced. It conked of again exactly 2 month later in Mar 2017 and replaced.

                        Must say the Tata Group have opened a new venture to keep the profits rolling, by palming off repaired by yet faulty set top boxes to unsuspecting customers. The only reason I chose Tata Sky was the Tata brand and Ratan Tata who has always had an impeccable reputation.

                        But seeing the way things are now, if the settop box which i am expecting to conk off again in 2 months i.e. by May 2017, I will change my dish provider and move back to the local cable operator who are much more efficient not only with their services but also the cost.

                            This is addressed to the chief executive officer.
                            Dear Sir,
                            I have already made a detailed complaint about my plight which is still unresolved and simply stalled by your representatives. I had cancelled the service of your DTH on 18th of March 2017 in regard to a dispute on the reactivation of the account without my consent. As advised by your personnel I suspended the service from 6th March on wards as I am shifting to Trivandrum. Unfortunately the TV, SET TOP BOX and The Antennae reached Trivandrum only on 23rd March, 2017. Before the goods reached from Mumbai, the service was reactivated on 18th without intimating me. On protest I requested them to close my account and refund the excess amount paid upto 12thJuly, 2017.( I paid for one yearon July, 2016) It means that you are charging me for NO SERVICE.
                            After that, though promised to contact me on 21st to inform me the mode of refund, nobody has called me. On 23rd or 24th a representative called me and again asked me the reason to close the account and told me again that they are registering a closure. After 7days of silence one Mr. Bhanukumar calls me today and asked to narrate the whole episode again.
                            Sir, what is the meaning of all these. If a customer do not want to continue let him close it and refund him. Why you keep his money without giving any service to him.and keep on harassing by making untimely calls only to stall the matter.
                            In the above circumstancesIi request you to intervene in this matter and resolve the issues at the earliest or else I may be forced to seek legal remedies including remedies under consumer protectionact for which you and your organisation will be solely responsible. Please try to avoid such emabarassment..

                              I am a new user of tata sky.. I want to draw your kind attention towards vendor of tata sky who has mislead me just to increase his sales. When he explained me about the new offer i specially asked him about the particular channels if they are available on it. He blindly said yes without even checking. Now that i have taken the tata sky connection, those particular channels are not available. Yesterday only he has set up the connection. Now i am not satisfied with his dealings, as it is against the business ethics. I request you to cancel our connection and refund the amount. It would be so kind of you if you take this issue under consideration as early as possible.

                                        For resolution of my complaint Number.WO#W75SMWT Installer visit WAS FIXED ON 30/3/17 between 6.10 pm to 6.50 pm.They gave contact Numbes[protected] and [protected]. I am staying in an apartment of Arihant Towers in which around 400 Tatasky connections are available.The person claimed from Tatasky came to our flat around 7.00pm and dismantled our connection.He informed us, it is getting dark I will not do anything. It seems he does not know anything about Tatasky and does not have ID card.When we were insisting for immediate rectification he behaved rudely and he left without connecting the wires.We request you to send qualified persons and not rowdies within the stipulated time. Pl dont collect charges until our connections is getting repaired.
