Hi Sir/Madam,

Greetings...!

This complaint is regarding Internet Service Provider ( Tikona ). I disconnected my Tikona brodband due to low grade service for considerably high bill amount and the same was informed to ISP(Tikona) for many a times and i even got the complaint ID's, but the respective concern was never resolved. Tikona promised me 1mbps speed at the time of taking connection but never provided me even 512kbps along with faulty connections for most of the time, this continued for 6-7 months with me complaining and Tikona people never giving heed to my complaints, their local guys who had provided connection at my premises advised to just throw away the connection as they had nothing to do with it. Ultimately I got frustrated and asked for disconnection over phone as well as over mail and paid up the bill for that month. Yet Tikona sent me the bill for the next month, I called their customer care and on enquiring they said I have to pay because according to them they didn't disconnect the connection.

I didn't pay them yet because apart from their pathetic service and what they say, I asked for disconnection in the previous month itself.
Is it fair to bill someone for services they were never able to use and more importantly was not provided ?

Also while taking connection these people took an extra month's rent stating it as the caution deposit for the devices they provide, at the time of disconnection I asked them to collect their devices and pay me up the caution deposit, amazingly they never reply if they will pay up the caution money or not. At the same time they never come to collect their equipment.

What kind of Service provider is this.....

From past few days i am getting calls and Demand Notice from respective(tikona) person stating that i have to pay the bills at any cost else the issue will be redirected to the Delhi High Court.

If what ever they are doing is Fair and Justified as per the Laws and Constitution of Our Great Nation, with Respect to my Mother Land's Laws, I am ready to pay them up and if the laws and Constitution of India term Tikona's ways as unFair & unJust and if there is any provision in the Laws of our Mother Nation to protect her children from such ways with respect to our Nation's laws, I am ready to fight their Fraudulent means

Tikona internet service provider — No timely installation

I have already filled the form before one week or so. Already gave installation charges to them but still i am waiting for their technician to make installation. This company dont have any guarantee. they keep on givin me fake promises. and still i dont have internet connection. very poor service.

I m using tikona since 24/4/2010 , I have chossen the plan of rs 799 after using 10 days bill come and message coming please pay your tikona bill which is due otherwise line will be disconected after talking to customer care he even don't want to understand now after one bill again coming rs 1299 I don't know why this happen and wen calling tikona care no one their to answer now they disconnected my line , what to do in this position please suggest my mobile no is [protected]

I have been going through similar scenario like you, getting threatening calls from Tikona for the fault not of mine. Looks like they want to spoil their business model and run away from broadband service, if they continue to take such non sense path

I am located in Bangalore. I think we can register a consumer complaint against them here http://www.consumerredressal.com/. I am going to do that.

Also if you search in consumercomplaints.in there a lot of complaints against Tikona and there is a reply from Tikona care as well just to pacify the member without any further follow up.

    Tikona is activating services without any consent and charging 200 bucks stating your credit was activated and you have used 1mb of data. Even a 4G wont cause 100 bucks for 1mb. Also my plan was a prepaid plan and I do not understand what gives tikona the authority to activate and kind of plans or credits without your consent.
    Tikona does not cares about customers in least possible ways and tries to milk thd cow as much as they please.
    I would appreciate help over curtailing this type of behaviour.

        They are providing worst services. The broadband i was using for the past one year. I have my connection in Chennai but they operate from Mumbai. My UserId is [protected], account no. is[protected]. They said it will be 1 mbps speed but i have never seen such a speed. The worst thing is that the connection was down for more than 40 days. I have raised so many complaints which they will never attend immediately. so i had raised a disconnection twice after seeing their services. one in April 2013 and finally on Jun 2013.
        1)Raised a request on 23-jun-2013
        2)Sent a mail for disconnection 0n 24-jun-2013
        3)They made so many calls to convince me. i told i am going for onsite so disconnect ASAP.Asking me foolish questions which i had briefed in my attachment.

        22-jun-2103 Again they called me asking for the reason. I said i am travelling onsite i need immediate disconnection. This guy was asking me where i am travelling. He don't have any right ask me this question.then he asked me i will give 30 % discount , can you transfer the connection anyone nearby. This is like some rude owners say that if you vacate the house u have a find another tenant. I said i cant do that.
        I don't know who gave freedom for this guys to ask such a question. he told me send a mail quoting the reason. hello boss why should i send a mail with reason i can send a mail for disconnection thats it, you disconnect, you
        doing a public service not a private military rule. i will disconnect the service saying i did not like your name. its my freedom to have or disconnect a service. if i ask for disconnection they have to do it.
        While getting the connection. they took only 2 hrs for connection even without address proof but for disconnection see the story


        4)29-jun-2013 i sent a remainder for collecting the equipments.
        5)04-jul-2013 i sent another remainder
        6)07-jul-2013 i sent another remainder
        7)14-jul-2013 i sent another remainder
        8)17-jul-2013 i sent another remainder
        9)21-jul-2013 i sent another remainder
        10)They are sending mails in between which i had attached some of which i am highlighting.

        initially i got a mail saying that i have no dues paid, but actually they have refund me for the non usage period. after that they sent a mail saying that final amount calculation will be done later.
        the worst thing is that they sent a mail saying the my userid was terminated and in that they said some guy will call me to collect the equipments. he never came. they also asked me to call that guy if he did not come. Why a Customer should call some guy to get the equipments. it is their responsibility so see that guy is coming and collecting the equipments.But even then i called this guy he never turned up. i have remainded them many times in mail to collect the equipments.still it is not happening, they keep on sending mails forcing me to call the guy to collect the equipments.

        I need compensation for the following,

        1)The Mental stress i had undergone for their neigligence of serving the customer
        2)The amount for the non-usage
        3)The charged for the calls i made, browsing center charges.
        4)The Loss of pay waiting for them to collect their equipments.
        5)I took two days for framing this mail almost 10 hrs, i need this browsing charges.

        Tikona — worst services

        Hello my name is Rajesh Reddy Raya,

        I got tikona broadband connection on 4 march 2010 with full 599 plan having a download speed of 300 Kbps. From the third day of having the connection the connection is interupted ever few minutes. I mean the connection breaks off every 5 to 10 minutes and I have to release and renew the ip address every time to browse the internet. Sometimes it is just not possible to connect again for hours or days or the web pages take a very long time to open...for example my gmail account takes more than 10 minutes to load.

        I called several times to the tikona care who promised me to send an engineer, assuring me that it would be better next time but it never happened.

        Each time I called the Tikona care center I got a fresh complaint number as they would say that the complaint is solved and their data bases show that it is resolved - for the services which I have never received.

        My complaint numbers are[protected],[protected],[protected].

        Even the local incharge promised to send someone in smooth apologizing words but the promises were in vain - nobody came.

        I feel irritated and stupid that I was much more peaceful with browsing at a local internet cafe than getting into this mess with Tikona...

        Please take action against them and stop licensing such fake services of those wasting the time and money of the people of the country!
        Similar case with me!!!

        Tikona claims to provide a Service which is not at all met. The Customer Care is not at all responsive and no help is there when needed. My Internet is not working for weeks but even after many complaints nobody takes any action.
        PLEASE DONT CHOSE TIKONA.
        COULD ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO SUE THEM SO THAT I DONT HAVE TO PAY FOR A SERVICE WHICH THEY NEVER PROVIDED ME.

          I had Tikona internet connection (ID [protected]) started from January 2013. After around two month it become worse & nearly unusable but I paid bills of these months. I called Tikona Care so many times but they couldn't fix the issue. At the last resort I ask them to disconnect my connection, but they took another 2+ month to finally disconnect my connection in June 2013. Meanwhile I stopped paying bills after two month because o[censored]nusable service. They are sending bills by adding Rs.100/- each month as late fine & calling me as well to pay bills, but when I asked them why should I pay, your service was not working, they didn't answer and said you just have to pay they can't do anything. They took 1650/- at the time of installation in which 750/- was installation charge & 750 were security deposit that suppose to be refunded, when I asked about it they NO whole 1650/- was installation charge.
          They are even not listening me because once I tried to settle these bill by deducting my late fees & security deposit, because they failed at their service, but they said I've to pay whole amount or I should ready to face lawsuit.
          Now the are calling & threatening me that they filed case against me in Delhi High Court and asking me to come with my lawyer.
          Please help me out why I should pay for getting nothing. What should I do.

          Broadband — Bill payment

          Respected Sir,

          As I am using Home 500C+ broadband Plan, previously I had UL750plus.. I have changed from UL750plus to Home 500C+ on Jan 17 th only, but for Jan payment I have received a bill of Rs.7779. They have calculated my unlimited broandband usage along with the Home plan 500C+ bcoz in Home500c+
          upload and download limit is 2.5GB only. but they have calculated the UL750 and Home plan 500C+ unlimited download and upload from 2.00AM to 8.00AM usage along with the limited 2.5GB.. I want a separate details for this.. I am not using net in the morning time.. but only at nite only. I[censored] check my usage means you can see everything clearly.. so the payment of Rs 7779 is unbelievable Sir
          so Kindly do the needful..

          I had Tikona internet connection (ID [protected]) started from May 2012, that time I have paid 3 month advance payment.After that I wanted to disconnect the connection, but they were not listing that time.After one day a man was coming and he took the the wire and the tikona machine and now they called me before two days and told me they filed a case against me in Delhi police station and 2nd oct 2013 again one person c called me told "he is a police from Delhi police station and you have to pay 1100/-, otherwise come with your lawyer". Please help me out why should I should pay for their fault.What should I do.

            I received a call from Delhi High Court(On Behalf of Tikona) asking me to pay the bill for services which i didnt even used.
            I disconnected the service 2 years back because of poor performance. And all of a sudden i am getting a call to pay bill without even any notice from them. If Tikona wants me to pay the bill then they should be sending me an notice with all the bill details which are pending from my side, without that how can they expect me to pay it.
            They gave me the service id [protected] for paying the bill on Tikona's website.
            The number from which i got the call is [protected] and its a Chennai Docomo number, why are delhi high court people calling from Chennai Docomo number have they opened any branch in Chennai?
            Tikona If you want me to pay the bill then please provide me with all my due details and also the list of complaints which i made because of the poor service from you people.
            I would have hardly used your connection as it will be down 24/7

            hello sir this is NARESH SURANA from howrah district. from recent few months my sister is getting calls from some numbers and they keep using slangs and foul a language but somehow we kept tolerating it but yesterday we got a call from same number and the person over the phone threatened to kill my family members.

            Dear Sir, I had requested the Tikona Digital Networks to disconnect my connection 3 months back. They have taken NO action and kept on adding the bills for the three months. The bills however got accumulated and remained unpaid. After a period of 3 month a customer executive called up and threatened me to pay the bill and refused to give me his details. When I asked him as to why he was talking like that.. He replied that he had orders from his seniors to call up and threaten the customers!! He has also said that he would send his executive on monday (29th october 2012) to collect thhe money from me, inspite of me telling him that I will not be available at home!!             these are just using the gimmick to terrify you, must report to police as per supreme court they cannot call you even
            I hope this is just a fake call and i can ignore it

              This is a complaint about Tikona Wireless Broadband and see how much frustration a customer would have in selecting this useless service,

              1)Jul-2012 i took the Tikona Wireless Brodaband connection for 2mbps speed.
              2)They did not even get my address proof for the connection. with this itself i should have understood their quality
              3)After that the speed frequently gets down and i had raised so many complaints and many times i did not even have a connection for almost 10 days. For these 10 days they say they will adjust the bill but for an amount of 50 Rs.
              4)Customer care is another nuisance they dont understand the issue is and they will immediately test our connectivity when server which my modem connects is down and we have to wait for this guys 1/2 an hour as if they are going to solve the issue
              5)After we raise a complaint they will assign what they call as Engineers who will never come immediately the customer has to follow him after taking leave from office as if they are going to launch a rocket
              6)So called Engineer visits our site and he will adjust the direction of the equipment in the upstairs and he will check the conection and say everything allright, immediately after he leaves the connection will be slow or even down.
              7)We have to pay nearly 3000 for 3 months so the reason is after the payment their connection is secured meaning we will not be able to disconnect for 3 months.
              8)They will install their CPE, the reason for this installation free of cost is to black mail the customer when they ask for disconnection.
              9)first 3 months i paid i.e, from Jul - Sep 2012. Many complaints and i felt they will correct themselves and paid the second due from Oct - Dec 2012. same result. I called the customer care and made a complaint many times,

              they some how convinced me saying it will never happen again.Then i paid my third due from Jan - Mar 2012. same story. i did not disonnect because i thought i will be changing my house so it will be better if i raise a

              disconnection thinking that they will disconnect immediately since it is wireless. In April 2013, there was no stable connection, called the Customer Care and made a complaint. As usual the so called Enginner did not turn up and

              i got frustrated i raised a request for disconnection. After the request is raised the Engineer called me for fixing the issue. I told i disconnected and not needed your service. The next day a guy from Mumbai called me and he

              spoke in my language(for convincing) and convinced me and promised me it will never happen. I did not have a connection for 10 days again.I was not able to disconnect also because i paid the amount for Apr - Jun 2013

              10)After that also the connection was not stable, it was like if it type mail.yahoo.com, enter my username , password and submit bOOOOOOOOh. it disconnects. Pay my credit card and after entering all the details final step Boooooooooooooooooh. disconnected. it did not even know whether the payment is made.
              11)They have crossed the limits and waited for the end of june so that the end of bill date arrives.


              Chapter 2 The WORST

              1)I had raised a disconnection request again on 23-jun-2013 before 4 days of bill end date(26-jun-2013).This 4 days + 30(or even more) = 36 days i did not claim anything, instead i want this Ghost out of my Home.

              instate your confidence in us. Within these 10 days we shall seek your cooperation to facilitate a prompt resolution with help of Specialized Help desk as well our field care executives.

              We assure that in case our efforts to resolve valid issues to your satisfaction are not successful, then the monthly bill charges shall be applicable only till the next bill cycle date based on your last usage date or disconnection

              request date whichever is later. On processing of request for disconnection you will be required to return all Tikona installed equipment and material including indoor and outdoor CPE, POE adopter, cabling etc. In case CPE is not

              In order to safeguard against any unauthorized request for disconnection of service we would also request you please write an email to [protected]@tikona.in from your registered email id or call[protected] from your

              registered mobile number if the above retention effort is not successful. Please note that communication received from email or mobile not registered as part of Personal Information of your Tikona account is liable to be

              considered as 'not valid' and thus request may not be processed.

              We would also like to assure that in case our efforts to resolve valid issues to your satisfaction are not successful, the monthly bill charges shall be applicable only till the next bill cycle date based on your last usage date or

              disconnection request date whichever is later. On processing of request for disconnection you will be required to return all Tikona installed equipment and material including indoor and outdoor CPE, POE adopter, cabling etc. In

              case CPE is not recovered charges of Rs 1500 shall be added towards the outstanding amount& you will continue to receive bill until you have not surrendered the CPE. Entire outstanding amount shall be required to be paid to

              create full and final settlement of account.

              The activities are summarized again:

              1) Resolution of issues or problem with your cooperation : Day1 to Day10
              2) Formal email or call from your Registered Email or Mobile No.: Day 1 to Day 10
              3) Suspension of account (last bill cycle) : Day 11 to Day 13
              4) Payment of outstanding and return of equipment’s : Day 14 to Day 16
              5) Closure of account : Once activity 4 is completed then within 48hrs the closure

              Kindly note during the course of retention if your account shows usage then your account will be considered as retained & it would confirm you wish to continue with the services.

              follow up mail for my disconnection

              I had made a disconnection request for my Tikona WI-BRO service with acc. no. [protected] on 23-jun-2013.
              23-jun-2013 i got a confirmation call from tikona for the disconnection.
              23-jun-2013 i got a email from tikona regarding the disconnection
              24-jun-2013 I had sent a mail from my registered mail id confirming my disconnection.
              26-jun-2103 again i got a call from tikona and they confirmed for the disconnection and they updated that a technician will visit my home to collect the installed equipments.
              28-jun-2013 again i got a mail from tikona for disconnection.
              29-jun-2013 i got a mail with the billing details.
              This bill should not have been generated as i had already sent a disconnection confirmation from my registered mail id and also through the call.
              i am not using the Tikona Wi-bro services from 22-jun-2013 and the billing has to be adjusted for the non-usage.
              There is no more dues to be paid from my side and ask your technician to collect your installed equipments.

              action/account, the modems would be assumed to be permanently undeliverable to any person including the company. In such an event, including a case where the modems are delivered by the subscriber in non-working

              conditions, the company would charge the subscriber 1500 per modem not returned or returned in non-working conditions towards penalty/damages for breach of the terms of service. This is applicable for all plans.

              The Modem provided by Tikona and installed in your premises is a wireless transmitter imported by the company under a license issued by WPC wing, Department of Telecom, Government of India. Possession of such equipment,

              I had raised disconnection on 22-Jun-2013 and after that i had been asking you to collect Tikona Wibro equipments from my premises many times and still it is not being collected

              your ISP co-ordinator whoever you had mentioned had called me on 12-jul-2013 and told he will be collecting the equipments on the same day, the next day i had called him and again on sunday (14-jul-2013) i had called but he is

              reluctant to turn up.

              19-jul-2013 another guy called me for collecting the equipments and the same story 20-jul-2013,21-jul-2013 i had called him but no response.

              It is your responsibility to see to that that equipments are collected in time. It had been almost 1 month it is not collected and i will not be responsible anymore for the equipments for any delay/damage.

              To collect your equipments ask your person to fix an appointment with me and collect it.

              On seeing this you can see that they are sending the same mails repeatedly for a month for no reasons making the Customer uncomfortable.

              a)They are forcing me to call a guy or a fool whom they outsourced for collecting the equipments. Why should a customer call a guy who will not turn up, even then i did. This is the worst thing making the customer to call a

              unknown fool to take the equipments.
              b)They sent a mail before saying no dues paid, now they are saying the amount is to be calculated actaully this guys have to refund me for the non-usage period.
              c)They are taking more than 1 month for disconnection but for connection they will take 2 hrs without address proof..
              d)They send a mail to the customer blackmailing that equipments is not collected need to pay 1500.



              As per their mail,

              The activities are summarized against your Service Request Number 1-[protected], dated : 6/23/2013 09:42:29 AM

              1) Resolution of issues or problem with your cooperation : Day 1 to Day 10

              2) Formal email or call from your Registered Email or Mobile No. : Day 1 to Day 10

              3) Suspension of account (last bill cycle) : Day 11 to Day 13

              4) Payment of outstanding and return of equipments : Day 14 to Day 16

              5) Closure of account : Once activity 4 is completed then within 48hrs account will be closed.

              from 23/06/2013 + 16 days = 10-jul-2013 the equipments shouls have been collected, they will not collect the equipments and will send mails irritating the customer.


              These guys are giving the worst service that any telecom company will give and if we disconnect they will call all nuisance.

              Apart from these i made so many calls to the Customer Care to the toll-free which is not easily reachable and many times to their chargable number in Mumbai
              i lost my amount paid to them
              i lost many banking transactions beacuse of the worst service they had provided
              i am totally stressed by these guys for which i need a compensation..

              Do any of you want to have this services after seeing the complaint.

              I need compensation for the following,

              1)The Mental stress i had undergone
              2)The amount for the non-usage
              3)The charged for the calls i made, browsing center charges.
              4)The Loss of pay waiting for them to collect their equipments.

              Tikona Digital Networks — Disconnection Request not being processed

              Sir / Ma'am,

              I availed Internet broadband services from the service provider named "Tikona Digital Networks". The connection is really poor and the connection stability is too low. After paying the bill for 3 months and still not able to resolve the technical issues, I placed a request for disconnection on 20th March,2012.

              The provider started playing smart tactics after that. They did not work on the disconnection request. Generated the next bill on 26th March, 2012. After several follow ups both, over call to customer care and over email, there is no progress on the same. Please advice what should I do? Is it a formal forum to place the complaint.

                Hi Sir/Madam,

                This is Murugan Lakshmanan from chennai, I was a user of Tickno Digital network (user ID [protected]) for a couple of months in the year 2012, unfortunately it did not work in the month of July 2012 and same was reported to local tickona agent (who gave the connection ) but no one turned up for rectifying if and finally one person came on August 2012 and rectified, but by this time I had a negotiation on waiver of July 2012 charges and insisted that if I get such waiver I would continue the service further otherwise it is better to disconnect the service, but there was no reply from their side, so I moved to another service provider. Now I get frequent calls from Tickona’s Advocates saying that they will file case against me for nonpayment of monthly charges July 2012 and August which comes out to Rs 3474/-, actually I had opted for an unlimited plan with them and as per that plan I need to pay the rentals (Rs 699 PM) in advance which I had paid for the month of July 2012 ,(screen short of payment given below) and as I didn’t use the services for the month of July 2012 and August 2012 I did not pay the charges which again ideally I should not since no service was availed. As the company trying to treat me through legal action would request your kind interference to solve this issue.

                  Even after raising lots of complaint against Tikona, my problem didnt consider. I have lots of

                  connection correction request too, but Tikona is never able to provide a single day with average

                  broadband internet connection — NOT WORKING OF BROADBAND CONNECTION

                  This is to inform you that my landline telephone no.[protected] has connected broadband internet connection about three weeks back. I have used connection for three-four days only and then after DSL link is not getting. I have made an complaint to your office verbally on phone no.24220000 on 12th February, 09 and complaint who has taken has denied to give his name nor complaint number. He has assured that DSL link will resolve within day or two. I was waiting for four days but there are no response. Again I have called on the same number and asked complaint number and they have denied to give response and asked me to complaint on phone number 1598. I have made complaint for three times and representative of BSNL has contacted us and informed that broadband any complaint, they are not able to solved. However at last I have come personally in the office at Sahakar Nagar and launched written complaint under ref No.L6-23567 dt. 25.2.09. Till today, 2.3.09 at 6.00 PM, compaint has neither attended nor given proper reply from Mr. Vaishya and Mr. Chavan. Mr. Vaishya has informed me that he could not able to solved problems and Mr. Chavan has informed us that Mr. Vaishya has to solve the problem. As a Customer, I am really fred up and paying rent without using facilities. I have mentally sufferred a lot and spent about more atleast Rs 100/- on the contact to the concern person and more than Rs 5000/- on my valuable time. I request you to kindly look in the matter and arrange to give me compensation of about Rs 10, 000/- towards my mental harrashment you have made. Also I request you to kindly arrange to resolve my problem with immediate effect without further delay.

                  Broadband Connection — Complaint not resolved

                  i have taken internet connection by paying charges. I was told it will be done in 2 days. Now it has been a week still no response. Even the salesperson is not responding to calls and his phone is continuosly switched off.
                  This was exactly what they told me before I could subscribe. To tell you the truth, the entire process took a little more than a week.

                  Suman, don't let this get to you. I have Tikona for more than 6 months now. Connection drop are present but it has decreased the past couple of months.

                  Tikona technical support is horrible and sales...dont talk about it. Its better you befriend the guys who come to do your connection. They are more helpful.

                  Tikona — No of Complaints but no resolution

                  I Bhaskar C Sati( Registered Mobile No : [protected], Register Name : Bhaskar C Sati ) am facing a lot of problem since 14-Jul-2011 from Tikona and till i did not get any resolution.

                  I paid Rs.1000 by cash on 9-Jul-2011 for immediate action as commited by Mr.Salim (Sales Department) but installation done on 14th july and from very next day onwards i did not get signals.

                  I have logged complaints many times(25times) but neither they come nor response same i have forwarded to Customer care then they replied very unproffessionl way and share the disconnection procedure.

                  Please help to resolve the problem and take necessary action on Tikona.

                  After installation when I have tried from next day onwards, I am not able to work due to signal problem.

                  I asked to your customer Care, they transfered my call to techinical department, Informed to me that there is a signal problem, and they will send a engineer within 24 Hours.

                  I requested one sales person ( SALIM, Noida) he said that it is not my case because he belongs to Sales Department.........but my humble request, he came to my house and checked, he said that the network adapter device which I am using, It is not working, he has change it from his demo adapter device, after that my net started.

                  but again very next day it was not working..........I found that there is no modem in my tower roof, it was the story of 31-Jul-2011.

                  I again complained on 31-Jul-2011 to customer care.

                  They said that I have to submit the F.I.R scan copy, other wise they will not proceed.

                  I took the connection on 30th Dec 11 and during the installation itself, I confirmed that I don't need the connection if it internet connection is not working on my both laptops ( one personal and one company laptop). I haven't signed the documents which confirm that the connection is done to my satisfaction. I have been repeatedly calling the customer care to resolve this issue and they say say if it works on one laptop and does not work on another, its not our problem.

                  I called up many times to log a complain/request for disconnection, customer care never bothered to log a complain nor issue a ticket, It took them 15 days to log a complain for disconnection (attached screen shots available).On 12th Jan, some how, customer care logged a ticket for disconnection (1-[protected]). However, no progress is been done as on today. Yesterday, I guy from Tikona reached my home for collection of internet charges. When we said we have already logged a complaint for disconnection, he was not even bothered to disconnect the connection but left my place.

                  I have attached an email and a word document that contains the print screen of my complaints. I would sincerely request you to help me resolve this issue and get my refund of Rs. 1200 from Tikona.

                  I would sincerely request to fine a big amount to Tikona for such careless service or best thing that could be done is to cancel the license.

                  can the services be improved in such cases.

                    I got Tikona connection in Oct 2012 and since day one my connection had never worked continuously for more than 15 minutes. Even after making repeated calls to customare care dpt, the connectvity remained an issue. Frustrated with their service and connection I decided to stop making the payment in Jan 2013. With this i started getting N number of calls from Tikona pressurizing me to make the payments. I always told them to solve the issue and i will clear all the dues but they didnt solve the connectivity issue.

                    This kept on going for appx 3 mnths and then Tikona assured me that if I clear all the dues they will rectify the problem. Also they said they will be able to rectify the problem only if I pay the dues to them. Convinced with them, I decided to give them one more chance and cleared all the dues and they sent their technician one fine day to solve the connectivity issue. Technician changed the posittion of modem on mhy terrace and told me that i will never face this issue again but just after 3 hours of later the connection again stopped working. Instantly I raised complaint to them again and requested Tikona customer care to terminate the connection and not to generate any bill against my name as the connection never worked.

                    Awefuly, i get a message few days later that my tikona bill of 960 has been generated and i need to make the payment asap. Frustrated with this, I again called the customer care and told them how can they ask me to make the payment whne the connection not even worked for more than 3 hours? I again asked them to terminate the connection and give me a waiver. I got an answer that I need to drop a mail to tikona for connection termination and then department will analyse the case and give me a waiver if convinced. I dropped the mail and to them for termination clearly stating that I should not be making the payments as the connection never worked for me. Also, I activated the connection just to give one last chance to Tikona to solve the connectivity issue and not to generate another bill and harass me for making a payment for the connection which I could never use.

                    After few days, i got a call from another technicial that he is coming to deinstall the connection and take the model etc from my site. I agreed and he gave me an acknowledgment receipt that he has successfuly deinstalled model in good condition and that I dont need to pay any fine for that. I have the receipy with me now.

                    With all this i thought that I have gracefully exited from Tikona deal and opted for bsnl connection later.

                    Now after around 1 month, I got a call from one lady calling from Delhi number [protected] claiming to be calling frm Delhi Court from some PCR dpt and informed me that Tikona has filed a case against me that I have not made a due payment of Rs 2500. She told me that she wants to have my consent whether I want to go ahead and fight the case or I would like to settle the matter outside the court. I tried to explain to that lady that she has wrong information with her and i should not be making any payment to Tikona as per my emails and the modem collection that happened. But she insisted that she is not aware of all that and the case is with Delhi court not with Tikona anymore. She didnt even allow me to call tikona once and check on the matter and told me if i have to do the settlement on this matter then i will have to make the online payment right away else she will forward the case file to have a date of hearing on this matter. Also, As i m in bangalore, and the case is filed in Delhi, she scared me that i will have to keep visiting delhi and hire a lawyer etc and will be introuble if i go in this direction.

                    Obviously i cannot afford to keeo travelling to delhi for hearings so I had no choice but to make the payment online right away and i did that. She took the transaction Id from me and said if transaction is succesfull then this case will be closed here itself.

                    After this call i tried to call on the same number from which i got a call and it says that the number is not in service. I called Tikona people aftr that and told them that how can they file a forge case against my name even though I have cleared the matter with them and have the proofs as well.But the shame less people told me that if i have the proof i should scan and mail it to them then their backend team will analyse the matter. In reply i told them that as I have all the proofs with me and Tikona has harassed and cheated me by taking the Delhi court route so inreturn I am also going toconsumer court with all the proofs else they need to tell me how and when will they pay me back my 2500/-. But the shameless creatures in Tikona kept on pressing me to send them the proofs inorder to procees in this matter. Well, as i know that i have not done any thing wrong in this entire deal and have the proofs with me of all the device de installation etc, I will go to consumer courte and media and Police to take an action and get this fraud company shut down asap. These buggers are cheating people by using fake numbers and agencies to loot money which they should never get from consumers.

                    My advice to people PLZ STOP USING TIKONA and come out of this fraud circle. They are frauds, Cheats, Thugs and will harass you for your hard earned money.

                    Tikona Broadband — cheated on me

                    I had internet connect on 16 nov 2011 by Tikona but on 9 dec i started to get speed of 256kb and my plan is 756kb unlimided.so i call them about it and they say that i cross my downloading limit in unlimited plan what a joke and they also said that after a mouth my speed will normal again.but it did not happened my net speed is still 256kb and today is 20 dec . I got an answer that I need to drop a mail to tikona for connection termination and then department will analyse the case and give me a waiver if convinced. I dropped the mail and to them for termination clearly stating that I should not be making the payments as the connection never worked for me. Also, I activated the connection just to give one last chance to Tikona to solve the connectivity issue and not to generate another bill and harass me for making a payment for the connection which I could never use.

                      After few days, i got a call from another technicial that he is coming to deinstall the connection and take the model etc from my site. I agreed and he gave me an acknowledgment receipt that he has successfuly deinstalled model in good condition and that I dont need to pay any fine for that. I have the receipy with me now.

                      With all this i thought that I have gracefully exited from Tikona deal and opted for bsnl connection later.

                      Now after around 1 month, I got a call from one lady calling from Delhi number [protected] claiming to be calling frm Delhi Court from some PCR dpt and informed me that Tikona has filed a case against me that I have not made a due payment of Rs 2500. She told me that she wants to have my consent whether I want to go ahead and fight the case or I would like to settle the matter outside the court. I tried to explain to that lady that she has wrong information with her and i should not be making any payment to Tikona as per my emails and the modem collection that happened. But she insisted that she is not aware of all that and the case is with Delhi court not with Tikona anymore. She didnt even allow me to call tikona once and check on the matter and told me if i have to do the settlement on this matter then i will have to make the online payment right away else she will forward the case file to have a date of hearing on this matter. Also, As i m in bangalore, and the case is filed in Delhi, she scared me that i will have to keep visiting delhi and hire a lawyer etc and will be introuble if i go in this direction.

                      Obviously i cannot afford to keeo travelling to delhi for hearings so I had no choice but to make the payment online right away and i did that. She took the transaction Id from me and said if transaction is succesfull then this case will be closed here itself.

                      After this call i tried to call on the same number from which i got a call and it says that the number is not in service. I called Tikona people aftr that and told them that how can they file a forge case against my name even though I have cleared the matter with them and have the proofs as well.But the shame less people told me that if i have the proof i should scan and mail it to them then their backend team will analyse the matter. In reply i told them that as I have all the proofs with me and Tikona has harassed and cheated me by taking the Delhi court route so inreturn I am also going toconsumer court with all the proofs else they need to tell me how and when will they pay me back my 2500/-. But the shameless creatures in Tikona kept on pressing me to send them the proofs inorder to procees in this matter. Well, as i know that i have not done any thing wrong in this entire deal and have the proofs with me of all the device de installation etc, I will go to consumer courte and media and Police to take an action and get this fraud company shut down asap. These buggers are cheating people by using fake numbers and agencies to loot money which they should never get from consumers.

                      My advice to people PLZ STOP USING TIKONA and come out of this fraud circle. They are frauds, Cheats, Thugs and will harass you for your hard earned money.

                        Hello this is to let you know that i had discontinued tikona internet connection long time back..... Still they had billed me ---- I told them about this several times but in vain, Still they used to send bills.

                        Now today after few months i got a call from this phone no -- Some tripathi (who said he is a lawyer ...but hardly could pronounce my name and speak english) said he is going to file FIR in pune High court ...

                        He said he is going to file FIR in pune and in 30 minutes police will come and collect me!!! ..... Its now more than 30 minutes ---- i am not afraid of anyone because i am right!

                        I said you TIKONA - you are treating you customers like this (who stayed with you for more than years) -- Its your department which was sending bills without any usage again and again and i am not going to pay the bill for the connection i havent used!!...

                        Stop harassing me!!....ok First learn to treat your customer well ok!!

                          To give a brief, I had got Tikona connection in the month of June 2013. And since day one I have launched complains regarding the technical issues. As Tikona team was unable to resolve the issues in my area, I had decided to disconnect the service with the refund been promised. Tikona said that the money will be refunded within 20 days!

                          The disconnection was done soon (disconnected the service 1month since I got it), but there was no news regarding the refund. I have returned every equipment that was provided by the company. I have been launching complains regarding refund for 3 weeks now. I have never got any proper response from the team regarding refund. The only response I got was that the money will not be refunded. The same team had said that the money will be refunded within 20 days once the equipments have been returned. I have called Tikona support team almost every day! But it was of no use. I was only wasting my money on call this FRAUD and USELESS company!

                          NEVER OPT FOR TIKONA BROADBAND SERVICE. THE COMPANY SHOULD BE CLOSED DOWN!

                          Hi everybody,

                          This is for all to know that Tikona, Delhi is a complete fraud company.

                          I had applied for their internet connection service in Shastri Nagar, North Delhi Area-52.

                          Their representative came for the visit and told me that the connection can be installed and will work at my location. He asked for a cheque of Rs.500 which I gave in the name of 'Tikona Services'.

                          They had promised that the connection will be installed within 7 days. After several calls and reminders, their technical representative came after 14 days, only to tell me that my location is out of range, and that they will not able to do the installation.

                          He promised that my cheque will be duly returned.

                          Ok, I said, and decided to wait for the cheque to return. In the meantime, I was told that Mr. Abhinav (M:[protected]) is the manager of this area for Tikona.

                          I called him up and was told that the cheque will duly be posted back to me.

                          Well, One month after, I checked my bank statement only to find that the cheque had been put into my bank and had got cleared!

                          Tikona is a simply fraud company that you MUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

                          And at no cost, ever give them a postpaid cheque, because they seem to be out to making fool of people, and just grab your money.

                          BEWARE of such companies who do not respond to customer greivances, and take your money for a ride.
                          This is Manoj and my Tikona ID is [protected].I bought ZMR plan and paid INR 3308.at that time Company's Executive told me that you can use 30 Gbs with the validity of 30 Months 2 Mbps Speed.After Installing I started to use the internet and I check my usage and I was socked because if suppose I used 5Mbs it shows 37 Mbs.Therefore, I visited company's local office but that people told me that you should to contact Customer Care to deactivate your service.
                          When I called up that people disconnected my calls after listening my problem.So,I mailed them but they informed me that there is no fault from our side so we can not give you money back.
                          Personally I am requesting to people kindly do not buy any Internet services from this company if you love your Hard Earned money because this company is not at all interested to give you after sales service.

                          Tikona Broadband — Fraud

                          I made,on 8th January 2012, an online payment of Rs.1157/- for subscription to Tikona Broadband service. The Tikona server generated the confirmation receipt giving me an SRF number. I was also notified that they will contact me after creating my account for installation of the service. Now it has been 24 days and no such action has been initiated on their part. Restless calls to customer care are answered with a frustrating reply that they don't have any account in my name and they can't track my money. They just give me an assurance that they have transferred the matter to the concerned department which will get in touch with me, but the wait has been too long and there has been no communication from their part.
                          Writing mails to the customer care has also resulted in similar response.
                          In this age when large number of ISPs are vying to attract customers, I feel cheated as Tikona neither has given a prompt service nor can it trace its mistake and take appropriate corrective action.
                          This irresponsible company is just sitting on my money without taking any action.

                          On June 1st 2012, I talked to Mr. Deepanshu, phone no [protected], to install Tikona broadband at my place. He was very curious and immediately wanted to come to my place to explain the plan details, I said not today but come on saturday 2nd june. He could not wait that long and in the morning only he called me to come to explain me the plan details. I asked him to come. My whole point here is that he was in so much of hurry to get the confirmation and amount for the new connection from me. He said total of 1100 I will have to pay, 500 installation charges and remaining one month advance rent. I gave him the amount and he gave me the receipt. Since I wanted a wifi connection and I already had a wifi router, he took that with him for setting it up and he said he will bring it along with him when a person will come to install it with in 3 days. I got an email confirming that my username and password is created and engineer will visit not greater than next 48 hours. No body came and then on thursday I called Tikona care [protected], the person was very confident and assured me with in next 24 hours a person will visit my place and install it. The complaint no is [protected]. Not to my amazement, nobody came. Meanhile I had been trying to call Deepanshu, he picked my call once on monday and said that he got sick and he will talk to someone else and get it done. But when nobody called me back, I again called him, he never picked up my phone after that and messaged back that he can not take my call right now. Today I again called him, he did not pick up, I messaged him to give me somebody else's number, he messaged back that he is sick with Jaundice and I can call on below number. I called [protected]. The person was very rude to me. His tone was as if he is not even interested in listening to me. When I told him I have the request no, he said "theek hai request no dedo, dekhte hain phir baat karte hain kal" and he cut the phone. I again called him back, then he said "kyun deemag kharab kar rahe ho, request number le liya, ab dekhenggey... I said look at the way you are talking.. he said... deepanshu se hi baat karo, main kuch nahin kar sakata and cut the phone...

                          It been 8 days today and still I dont have it installed, I can understand that Deepanshu must be seriously ill, but he could not be the only person and there must be some back up?? and moreover, installation is done by technical team, he is a marketing guy....

                          Tikona is seriously a fraud company, they just take your money asap and then forget to give you customer service. They have my router and 1100 rs

                          I want my complete refund along with my wifi Router. I caution all the readers, do not go with this company.

                          Bad service... I took the connection in 27th Nov'2010 for six months. Due to bad service like not connecting for 5days & speed, I requested to disconnect on 14th may 2011. Customer care people took the request and disconnected in 2hours. But shocking thing is I got the call on 22 june 2012 i have a due of Rs.3794.00. This people are not telling me the date i raised for disconnection & over to that they are using bad words to make me to pay. I am lodging the compliment against tikona in consumer court in bangalore.I serious request dnt take tikona connection. Its really bad service.

                            This is regrading my Internet connection with Tikona..

                            At the time of connection I was told that, i won't be charged for installation if I pay for 3 months in advance. Since month of April to september, my bill includes the Rs 800 charges and I must have spoken to many people regarding the billing issue and I was asked to ignore the installation charges and pay for the usage chanrges which i did. I had asked to disconnect my internet connection as I was not really happy with the speed Request id[protected] dated 28th July but nobody came for disconnection. I got a call from Technical department asking me if i would like to continue the service if they resolve the speed issue, I was ok with that so I asked them to change my plan to CB499, 2 mbps. but there was no improvment, Whenever i tried downloading anything it used to hours and eventually gets disconnected. I spoke to CC to work on my speed and if there is no solution. I won't pay for that month and asked for disconnection.

                            I have disconnected the service but still now i am getting calls for outstanding payment which includes Rs 825/- (800 installation and 25 late payment fees) and usage for August to september.

                            Could you please look into this and let me know what needs to be done.

                              I got a harassing call on behalf of tikona from [protected] nbr to pay Rs 1752 in an Hr else case is filled againt me in Delhi court or even worst can be done againt me. I've already request to disconnect my connection on 18Mar13 and if tikona wants to check they can easily verify it that no usage on my acc on/ after 18Mar13 and also verify that I've paid for internet service 6Apr'13.
                              Few days before i found that they are still generating the bills and now coming on such a cheap activity to make such calls.
                              I'll not pay a single Rs to anyone becasue I've already paid non used amount. I've registered compaint on Tikona website also but no update from there end.

                                I got a call from[protected] saying i am advocate calling from Delhi and i am filling case against you on behalf of Tikona. I am sure this is some kind of department or you can say fraud run by tikona network provider as i have seen multiple cases on this forum only. Would request you please check in details like number registered on whose name, Whose is calling etc. And penalize them with heavy amount. Please find below the details.

                                I was using the Tikona internet service.I was using the 4 months unlimited plan, Where i had lot problem with the connection. Many of my client websites were not opening at all. Also I was not able to send emails. They were taking lot of time to rectify the issues. Which made me to fed up and stopped using it.

                                Now the advocate is demanding 60000/- Rs for using Tikona Connection. Also they are harassing me that they will put me to Jail if I am not paying that much money.

                                  Tikona is one of worst internet service provider company, I think it is less of ISP and more of collection agent. I think tikona reallly should switch it market segment from ISP to money collection agent, that to in fradualent ways. I was a tikona user for 5 months (iser id - [protected]) in pune. Service quality and speed during these month were not upto mark. When i requested for relocation on 6th of May 2013, after three days their local technician told me that their service is not available in new location, so I called and mailed tikona about my disconnection request. It seems like they accepted my request with one term, that is tikona will keep generating bill for this id. Since, I made request for disconnection on 9th May 2013 and after confirming with more than 5 customer executives I made my full payment completing my billing cycle till 15th of May, but tikona still sending me bills and asking payment for same. It seems like after taking money for 6 extra days, tikona is still hungry for more money. Their customer care executives also talk in very foul language and the company seems more interested in ransom money rather than providing service to its customer.Its been two months they are generating my bills and asking money for no service. I also called their customer care & local technician so many times for collection of hardware but it seems like they are not interested in collecting their hardware and everytime they are asking payment. Now, tikona executives is asking me to pay bill because they say its their company policy.

                                  I request all of reader to please not go for tikona as their service is in pathetic state and those who are its existing customer, please go for disconnection asap with full and final settlement clealy given by company otherwise you will all face same problem as mine. I think I made one of biggest mistake of my life by becoming tikona customer even after so many negative reviews. Just to save 100rs pm, now fighting with tikona executive has become a part of my daily routine.

                                    i have stop my tikkon broadband service since last 1 year but they unnecessary claim the charges i have paid Rs. 1500 for the modem which they have claim now they charge again unnecessary charges. i have stopped my services and clear all my unpaid bill and also i have details of paying bills. please help me to overcome this problem. they harassing and sending threating mails.

                                      i have taken tikona internet a 2 years ago, now i given deactivation request on february , i pad all my used bill on february month , there is no any maount from side, then after they are sending me bill everymonth, at present they send me around 2800 rupess, which is bad, there is no use from my side, i have converasaton mail which indictes there is paid my last amount bill.

                                      please help to close this query.

                                        I am shahul Hamed. I am User of Tkona ID is [protected]. Before starting their service they told me to pay an Advance amount of Rs1500. I paid it. And I had used their services for around 1 year. Very worst service i ever found in Internet Service Provider. If any problem they won't listen. They are very much interested in collecting bill than service. I disconnected their on Feb. But i already informed them disconnect but they send me an bill on March 2013 but i had not utilized their service. I told them to deduct from my advance amount of Rs 1500 and give me the balance. They doesn't listen to me. Now i received a call from a person he told me he is calling from Delhi High court (timing is 6/7/2013 @ 2.30pm) He told me that before he file a case pay the bill. He is warning me. This is wat happened. Please help me out friends.

                                        I am also in the same situation. I got some calls from from a Lawyer from Delhi and he is black mailing me if I am not ready to pay the bill even though I disconnected their connection 2 years ago.

                                        He even not listening ot not giving chance to me to speak. He directly warning me and disconnected the call.
                                        TIKONA is very very BAD ...
