Videocon industries — no service, no refund of money, no ethics

Hi,

I am posting this complaint again, as they did nothing to refund my money or terminate the connection. The complaint is not resolved yet. Have also given below the details of the previous complaint below.

No service, no refund of money, no ethics
Hi all,

Have a horrible experience to share with all. Never ever go with videocond2h!! These guys are extremely pathetic. They are so cheap and unprofessional that they neither give service or refund my money. I relocated a new place in february 2018. Ever since then i am neither getting any of their channels. Have raised several complaints, no use! They only assure it will get resolved but never so. I have even written and called them asking to terminate the connection and refund my money. Have also told them that they can take back their set up box etc. It has been over one and half months since that, no refund from them yet. These guys are so cheap and unprofessional they can't even refund rs 2500. I heard from my friends that these guys owe some it company some money. They didn't have the cash, so they instead gave them several of their products (E. G tv) as payment. Have pasted below the mail thread conversation with videocond2h. Future customers beware, opt for some other services, never go choose them!!

Hi,

You should keep in mind that since february 17th of february 2018, i have not got any videocon service. Ever since i relocated to a new place just 3km from my old place, for which you deducted 400rs as relocation charge. You haven't done the installation since then. I had loaded around 3500rs on 9th january 2018 in my videocon account. You have already unnecessarily deducted amount since 17th of february. I have raised several complaints, but no use. I have already raised two request to terminate my connection and to refund my money. It has been 20 days since my final complaint via that mail addressed to you on the 31st of march 2018. You people still haven't refunded my money. From pathetic service to very unprofessional way going about dealing connection termination. Make sure you refund my money ever since i have stopped receiving your service. Your lackadaisical approach to this matter poses a serious question to your efficiency and attitude towards your customers. I truly doubt you maintain any standards to be known as a reliable brand in india.

Termination of my videocon d2h account

Hi,

My name is rejith rajan and my customer id is[protected]. I was using videocon d2h for two years. I have recently relocated from btm 4th stage to akshayanagar dlf. It has been around one month and half since i have relocated and still they haven't done the installation at my new place. I have raised several complaints with the customer care. I just want my connection terminated, i have communicated the same to the customer care. They have raised a request, they said it will be done in 7 days. They haven't yet done anything till now. I have seen pathetic services, you guys have taken it to another level. I had pre-loaded money in my videcon d2h account. I need refund for that money as well.

I don't find any valid reasons to continue with a company so inefficient. You have already deducted money for relocation which they haven't done completely. Have deducted money from videocon2dh account for months that i didn't get any channel due to the installation not being completed.

Now your company is even delaying the service disconnection, making me regret even more for ever opting for videocon d2h.

I have already seen inefficiency at your customer care and technician level. Now i hope it is not the same with the higher officials.

All i want is to get my connection terminated and refund the balance amount to my bank account at the earliest.

Hi,

You haven't mentioned how much more time? It has been almost close to 2 months since i had asked to terminate my connection and refund my money. Should i wait for you guys to finish deducting all of my pre-loaded money or wait for your videocond2h to be completely acquired by dishnet. Everyone please take note of their usual assurances that they will resolve the issue.

Hi,

Till now no call, no mail thread or no refund. Nothing has happened. It seems even the complaint registered here will not force videocon to resolve this issue. Please do take note how pathetic they are. They will not even refund a sum of over 2000rs. Please subscribe to them at your own risk! These guys are beyond mending, they lack even the list bit of professionalism.

    I've had a complaint with set top box and had filed a complaint and they replaced it with another and the same problem is occurring and wen I've filed a complaint with customer service they said it will be resolved by the help of technician and technician hasn't arrived even after the 24 hours ..
    Feels waste of owning the product when it doesn't provide good service.
    Please do look in to the issue and respond. This is not the first time ..
    Our organization has 4 set top boxes and the service provided is of poor quality.

      D2h recharged but but only few channels telecasted. Not only that bengali add-ons has been changed to oriya add-ons. Which is intentional and without my permission. I am facing the problem since last 2/3 months. Several requests to customer care failed to evoke any result.

        I have display problem in my tv, its in warranty, enginer says that its parts not available now bcoz company not make it now & he take 1000 rs for this, then company says we replace ur tv bcoz we dont have that part, then after 2 mnths a tv comes in a box & they take our old tv but that tv is lower model from our tv & thats not new tv its repaired tv & without any stand.
        So tell me this is ur service, u give us an old repaired model in replacement.
        I[censored] not repair our tv then give us a new tv, otherwise i take action against u.

          I raised a disconnection request on 15th june and the connection is now disconnected.
          I have a balance of 3200 rs + the initial deposit.
          No refund has been provided so far and the customer care tells me it takes 2 months to refund the money. This is not acceptable.
          If i need a new connection can i pay after 2 months?

          It has been 15days and no body even cares to call me.
          This is total fraud.

            I have subscribed to sony ten 2 hd, sony ten 1 and sony sab hd, services for all other channels are available and i am able to watch all except sony hd channels for which i have already paid. It seems videocon d2h service is not providing services intentionally as at the same time i am not able to watch sony ten hd channels but i am able to watch axn hd channel. Please help me resolve this problem

              The 32 ' videocon lcd tv repair at videocon authorised service centre m/s matrix electronics kottarakkara, kollam dist, kerala by paid amount rs 7000/ (Seven thousand only), after 45 days from the repair date the tv became unserviceable and the service asking money for service it again.

              We paid the huge amount to repair and no guarantee for their service even 03 months.
              This is worst experience we customer facing by buying the videocon product. Request necessary action agains the defaulters and the system to be service and minimum guarantee to be provided after service.

              Unfortunately we have purchased a 32'lcd tv purchased 2 year back. I never seen such kind of worst service of lcd repair at videocon authorised service centre m/s matrix electronics kottarakkara, kerala and charged a huge amount inr 700/- seven thousand for repair and after 45 days the same became as unserviceable and no resposibily taken by the repair centre even after charged the heavy amount.
              It is logged a complaint but we did not have any response form your side. We don't know what is going at your side.

              This is disaster service management from one of reputed company. So now am writing to you to look into same & do needful on priority so please acknowledge this mail & revert with proper justification on delay & update on replacement part asap.

                99604351 is my customer I d, I got called from videocone executive name dipiti [protected] Regarding that when I am doing my recharge refill.
                Then I asked her the I want to take credit. So she that I have already taken credit on same day and my account is activated.
                I said her that I am still not able to see the channels.
                Then she said that your lieing .
                And very unprofessional behavior.

                  My fridge is less than a year old i got it on the 31/10/2017 and yesterday i just realised it has stopped working.
                  The light is going on but the the fridge is not cooling and its not making any sound.
                  i believe the product is still within warrant as stated on my invoice.

                    I'm extremely sorry to say this that I have been going through the Pathetic Customer service from Videocon D2H.

                    I have purchased Videocon HDR Setup box paying 7500 Rs just because I had an option of 1 TB drive space for recording option. Since 3-4 Weeks I was facing problem in this setup box, it used to take nearly 40 mins to start. Each Time when we switch off the set up box, we need to wait for 30-40 mins.

                    Yesterday - Dated 28th June, I called Customer care and raised a complaint. Service executive visited my house and after listening to my problem, without second thought he told that there is a major technical problem in Videocon HDR boxes and Many Customers have raised the same complaint. He took the set box for checkup. After 30-40 mins, I got a call from local Videocon agent office saying that these HDR boxes are of NO use and It would be replaced with a lower end setup box (Videocon HD 2266 ) which is worth just 2000 Rs. And I would be able to record only one Channel in this setup box that too using a Pen drive.

                    To be frank, I not at all interest in accepting this lower end setup box as a replacement to my high end HDR setup box and I'm at loss. When there is a manufacturing defect from Company product, Videocon should take the responsible and make sure Customer is not at loss at any cost. Instead being such a well-known brand, Videcon is offering a lower end setup box and NOT even bothered to compensate for this Loss. This is worst service that any Company can offer to its Customer.

                    This is horrifying experience and hence I’m filing an complaint here an dI hope my loss is compensated accordingly at earliest.

                    Lastly I would like to say that I'm not having an good experience by choosing Videcon d2h.

                      I express my grievance/complaint for repairing of my videocon television. The relevant fact of the matter are as under:

                      1. I have purchased videocon uhd led vmm50qhozs from vijay sales, piplod, surat on 6th january 2016 with a warranty of 3 years.

                      2. My tv suddenly stopped working on 25th may 2018 and i registered complaint to vijay sales, piplod, surat on 26th may 2018.

                      3. Vijay sales might have forwarded complaint to service centre.

                      4. Based on receipt of complaint, the service centre technician (Sai service) visited my home on 27th may 2018 and reviewed television thoroughly and come to conclusion that tv panel has failed and therefore the same needs to replaced. He collected rs. 1300 as visit charge from my spouse and informed that he will replace the panel in 2-3 days. He informed that our complaint has been registered with complaint no. Ahm[protected].

                      5. Subsequently there was no call received from service centre. Therefore, i called multiple times about the status and every time, i have been informed that panel of my tv is not in stock and under manufacturing. Upon multiple calls, i was not satisfied with the response from back office staff, i got number of mr. Jayesh modi (M – [protected]), incharge of spares videocon surat office. He informed on 8th june 2018 that since stock of panel was not available at factory and the same is under manufacturing with factory. The same will be dispatched from factory by 17th june 2018 and by 25th june my tv will be repaired.

                      6. I have not received any call from service centre subsequently. Upon not getting any call, i called mr. Jayesh modi on 19th june 2018 about the status. He informed that panel for my tv is not in manufacturing line and therefore entire tv needs to be replaced. He informed that he will submit documents to company for approving replacement of tv. He informed that i will be notified with the action taken for replacement.

                      7. Again, no one contacted. Therefore again i contacted mr. Jayesh modi on 26th june 2018 for status. He informed that company has approved replacement of tv and i shall contact to mr. Valjibhai (M-[protected]) of videocon surat office for further process. Immediately, i called valjibhai about the status. He confirmed that he received approval of replacement of tv. However, he informed that i need to pay 50% amount (Apx. Rs. 27500) for replacement. I informed him that why should i pay replacement amount when my tv is on warranty and i do not want replacement. I want the same has to be repaired. I could not get satisfactory reply from him.


                      The matter narrated above, is self-explanatory about generation of mental stress due to poor handling of complaint. There was not even a single direct response from dealer/service centre/company about the status of repair. Every time i only contacted or chased for status (Almost a month now). The company should have at least maintained spares till warrantee period of customers is over. It is dealer/company's responsibility to honor warrantee for repairing tv or replace the same free of cost.

                      By this mail, i hereby request you to please take immediate action on repair/replacement of my tv within 7 working days. Being customer, my family is suffering without tv since last one month due to dealer/company has not taken necessary actions to resolve complaint.

                      If i will not get response within 7 days about repair or replacement free of cost as per warrantee, i will be constrained to initiate legal proceedings.

                          We have purchase videocon television 50 inch last year march 2017, to which we had problem on 10th june 2018 of power switch which gone off and had not been starting, since then i have lodge complain in customer care and followed them up at least three to four time for service as its still in warranty period. To which service provider came on 12th june and saw the tv and without touching he want back and said some part has to be replaced and we need to pay for that amount to which we showed him our purchase bill as we were in warranty period. He said later the part is not available will need to be collected from company and will take one week now we been chasing him and calling he never respond properly. We are still not getting any positive reply from any one also vijay sales (Vendors) keep mum on the issue just do nothing to there costumers

                            Hallo.. I have just purchased videocon 4k tv 43 inch.. After 1 month it stops atomatically. I have written e mail to the company but no one replayed me. I just bought it because it is of indian company and it has logo make in india. Now o will never ever by cheap indian product again. Your company has promised me 3 year warranty. This is the worst experience i have got.

                              I have recieved a message on 30th March 8:46PM from videocon D2h regarding recharge of Rs. 100/- or more & get Special flexi [protected]@Rs.99/- for 3 months, if I recharge before 31st march.
                              So I have recharged Rs.200/- based on sms, but they have not applied the sms offer & given other plan which was having validity for 2 months @ Rs200/- recharge. So they have not given the offer which they sent thru SMS. So I tried to contact videocon D2h customer almost more than 10 times with call & reminder with email, but I am not getting desired response from them as per their proposed offer as attached sms snap.
                              Pleasee provide me solution over this.

                                After more than 50 call and 15 mail and confirmation by videocon d2h to contact me on this forum and on [protected]@d2h.com no one has contacted me and its been 1 month since i registered my complaint, i provided all the necessary documentation for my problem that is wrong id recharged on 26 may, now iam left with only 2 options first to throw videocon d2h set of box in garbage and secondly to drav videocon d2h to consumer court, this is my last attempt to get in touch with videocon d2h.

                                  I logged a call on 16th june as there is an issue with my tv display. Only part of the screen is showing picture. Other part is blank.
                                  Complaint reference number : mum[protected]
                                  Visit done by engineer on friday, 22nd june 18. As per engineer shivkumar, the panel or tv needs to be replaced by the company. The product is under warranty.
                                  We have not been given any timeline for the replacement to be done. Service cannot be at these levels in today's day and age.
                                  @ videocon team, please look into this urgently.

                                  I have relocated from one place so i requested to change the setup from existing location to new location. Their engineer came and change and charged 450 from me which was informed me before but they have debited from my d2h account and after complain also they are not responding..

                                    Myself karamjeet singh.
                                    I purchase a videocon top model 1.5 ton split ac 5 star worth ruppee 28500/- dated 16 june 2018. Invoice no is 361 from manocha electronics abulane meerut up.
                                    The issue is no cooling. Whithin 5 days a major defect. Our complaint no is gha[protected] which is register in 22 of june 2018. Till time no body visit in my house for checking the issue.
                                    Very bad expierience from the custumer service side. One more thing i am not repair my ac unit.

                                      Am wirting the complaint agianst videocon services. We register our complaint for repairing of washing machine on last saturday dated 16/06/2018. I called on the no.[protected] and got reference id via message i. E. Tha[protected]. I told them to provide service on saturday as i am working 9am to 9pm from monday to friday. They accept it for providing services on next week saturday i. E. Today and told that the process will be initiated after 48 hrs. I got the msg that the service will be provided by the person named wahid (Contact no. [protected]). I contact wahid today and told him to came at 3.00 p. M. And he asked me that is your machine is under warranty period??. I said yes and he confirmed me to came at 3.00 p. M. But when i called him again i found his mobile switched off. Then i called back to the same customer care no. And they said they have cancelled the request without informing me via call or msg. This is misguidance and when i talked with the person i. E. Jay kishan - floor incharge he had not given proper response to me. I think he dont care about what response he is giving to the customers. He told me to again register your complaint and it will be again processed after 48 hrs.

                                      Now two things are there:
                                      1. If the product is in warranty period then they will not provide services as they cannot take any money from the customers.
                                      2. They dont care about the customer complaints. And they are not taking any responsibility untill the complaint goes to higher authority.

                                      As per my experience i feel cheated and now i will not suggest anybody to buy videocon product because of worst services after selling

                                        I have paid videocon industries online through bank transfer an amount of Rs 8250 towards guarantee replacement of TV supplied by them. I have the references and confirmation E mails of the details. They promised replacement before first with in five days of payment and when that did not happen promise was made for replacement before 19 Jun 18. Payment was made on 06 jun 18. But they have not replaced the TV till date . repeated calls to the replacement engineer were not answered and false information that billing is being done etc was being said.
                                        Request intervene for legal investigation and compensation for harassment and the replacement of TV.
