I am vinod[protected] a postpaid customer of Vodafone india. When i try to see my bill in vodafone website i am not able to found, the page itself is not displaying. Even if i call the customer care about my bill they are telling that they will mail to mailID within 1 week i will receive the itemized bill, but i didn't receive any of my bill.

I understand backup staff of vadafone are not competetive in solving the customers queries. Recently I have requested to send the itemized bill. The executive has suggested me to register qwith vadafone for the same. When I argued man has switched on the music for 25 minutes and then said you need to contact local vadafone gallary and discuss there. Vadafone agents promise gifts for new connection and then finally they say we are sorry it is not there in our plan. In total I am not happy with them now I am planning to disconnecting vadafone.

    I woukd like to report a complaint againest vodafone
    At 10-MAy-2008 i got one call from Vodafone customer care. The person who was calling me, has told me his name as Deepak.
    He has told me a new plan of 999, in which he offered me 3 years rental free, 300 local calls and 300 local SMS free on monthly basis.
    After that i got call from varification department, the person has told me his name Aditya. His mobile no. is [protected]. He has sent a guy at my home address 33/21, old Rajendar nagar, New delhi.The guy who came to my house, has taken
    3000/- rupees from me. I have given money him for 3 numbers.
    He has given me the receipt of 3000/- on bahalf of Vodafone sub branch, LAXMI ENTERPRISES, 4/61, GURU ANGAD NAGAR, SHAKARPUR, Delhi, 110092.
    Aditya has told me that the plan will be activated with in 2 days..now 20 days has been passed and no action has been taken from their end.
    It would be great if you please check it out this issue, as it seems that the mobile no. of that guy is Employee mobile No.

    FRAUD committed by Vodafone Company


    Sir/madam,



    This is with reference to my Vodafone Mobile No [protected], I had purchased on the 15th of April 2007 for a price of Rs 2100/-. According the Plan I was offerred the following tariff:



    V2V - 50 p

    V2O – Re 1

    STD – Rs 1.50



    Recently I went to a Vodafone Store wherein I was given a “THANK YOU CARD”, free of cost as a special gift stating that it will add to the benefits of my plan.



    After I dialed to avail of the benefit of the Special Gift to my utter surprise instead of giving benefit, I was penalized and without my acceptance my local call rates were increased as follows:



    V2V - Re 1

    V2O – Re 1

    STD – Re 1



    I constantly called Vodaphone office from the 16th March asking for a justification and reason for the change in call rates without my prior knowledge, I was asked to call the next day so that their accounts are updated. On the next day none of the executives were able to find the actual reason for this change of Plan. On the 18th I was suggested to go to a vodafone store at Preet Vihar. On my visit there, after waiting for almost an hour, I was informed that my query would be resolved within 24 hours. After waiting for the stipulated time, I received no response from their end so I called the customer care. I had a word with the floor supervisor Mr Rajinder who informed me that the revised call rates were due to recharging with the Thank You card. When I informed him that I am a local Student and do not make STD Calls his behaviour was very Rude and Shocking and he disconnected the Phone by saying that recharging with the Tahnkyou Card was my fault.



    I feel I have been Cheated By offering a Thankyou Card as there was no written or verbal warning on the Thank you card which has not only put me to Financial Loss but also Mental harassment as being a student and my Examination are due I can not afford the present Call rates. Because of the Call rates I had Spent Rs 2100/- initially to accept this Scheme.



    As such type of behaviour is not Expacted from a Multi National Company Like VodfoneI, I request you to revert Back my Orignal Plan and Call rates without Delay which were prevailing prior to offering Thankyou Card and the necessary compensation henceafter.

    i am also facing the same prob.i got a vodafone thank you card today when i paid my postpaid bill. But then after sending the msg as per the instruction i got the sms.“Sorry! You are not eligible for this offer” What crap is this? Is this a joke? What was the whole Thank You letter for?

    even i don’t understand why these people do such nonsense. We haven’t asked for any thank you from them.if they have to do such kind of foolish thing, why have they given us such cards … its shameful from such a big service provider.

      I bought a vodafone sim(prepaid) in kakinada and activated lifetime validity by end May'08 . I m a resident of Tamil nadu. I submitted my address proof(tamil nadu address) while i purchased it. After 4 days my calls were barred and Got to know through customer service that I need to submit a "local address proof" !! After this I promptly gave my company letter as stating my name and address in a "Vodafone store". After this I ve called up every alternate day to figure out a way to make understand the situation. Everytime different guys with the same wording "I m really sorry for the inconveinence caused" !! but not a single help offered. Now I m least bothered about the sim card and connection now. But I want you guys to know how a big corporate international firm in this modern age is having the worst customer service----- Well if you guys still think I get back my connection which I m not sure of, Then I look forward to it...

      I have prepaid connection. Every day there is atleast 1 Rupee deduction from my balance. But I still don't know under which scheme Vodafone deduct money from my balance. When I call customer care, the recorded voice plays but there is no option to known about my scheme. What would I do ? My Vodafone number is [protected].

        Dear Sir,

        I would like to bring to your kind notice the poor service/support being followed by VODAFONE Telecom and I am the victim for the last 15 days since I purchased a Vodafone set 125.

        I purchased a Vodafone 125[tel-[protected]] set on 10/6/2008 which comes with talk time and other value added services from M/s Gaurav Communications, Tagore Garden, New Delhi-110027, tel-[protected]. At the time of purchase, I was told that it would be activated on next day 1200pm i.e. on 11/6/2008. But as usual with these promises the set was not activated for 3 days. I called the dealer, Vodafone helpline. But surprisingly there was no clear answer from both. I may add that I submitted the copy of my address/identity proof on 10/6/08 to dealer. VODAFONE helpline told me that they have nothing to do what their dealers are doing even give false promises or cheat customers. I was told that service will be activated after 72 hours and dealers promise to start it next day was wrong. Then I told them to take action against the dealer. For last 13 days I am keeping a dead set after making the purchase. Neither company (VODAFONE) nor dealer is helping me to start the subscription. I am writing to Helpline/Nodal Officer constantly and waiting when my stamina disappears because there is no sign that my problem will be addressed in near future. Very strange response from a company which enters India to give better service to its customers.

        For the last 15 days I am writing mails calling helpline but no help. My problem is simple I am unable to call even after make payment. Why nobody have the answer. I cannot make calls from my set. Company is not taking /listening to activate my service or telling me the problem. I sound other customer to beware of these company tactics to woo customers by enticing advts and then shut ears. The mechanism of Helpline/Nodal Officer to total failure and just an eyewash. I wonder they take 15 days to activate a service. Customers beware these companies.

        i bet they will never resolve your problem.i[censored] want to know my problem pl ring up[protected] and find the latest status after paying advance rental for one year ! ( they have disconnected my services )

          This is reference to my call with Hyderabad call center with Ramesh, Srinath, Rahul (Supervisor), Ram Krishnan (Supervisor) on 24 Jun 208 from 2000 hrs to 2200 Hrs.

          I am having Mobile no [protected] and it is my prepaid card. I am also using Vodafone post paid number [protected] which is my primary. I have recharged for Rs 550/- few days back for my prepaid. Today when I try to make a call, the voice messages says I do not have enough balance to make call. When I checked the balance it was showing minus Rs. 100 /-. I immediately called customer care and talk to Ramesh, since he did not find the solution he transferred to his supervisor Ram Krishnan. Ram Krishnan verified all my accounts patiently and concluded that I am having Rs 100 Positive amount. Also, He says i can make an outgoing call since the service is active. He also requested me to give me a call after verifying the same. With thanks, I disconnected my call and try to use the prepaid number to call other number. This time also I was having same problem. Again, I have contacted customer care, this time it was Srinath and he is also connected me to his supervisor Rahul. Rahul is looking impatience and not listening to me. He over took me, before I complete my sentence. He also went hot, when i tried to explain what I had talked to Ram Krishnan. He was also not accepting my complaint and he refuses to give contact details of nodal officers. Since I am using Hutch/Vodafone for almost 3 1/2 years, this is the first time for such a genuine complaint, the call center guy (Rahul) is refused to accept and become anger over me. It is sad that your "Happy to Help" is not working with this kind of customer treatment. If I am not getting justice, I will think to terminate all my Vodafone service and all publish this in all consumer forums. But I hope I will get the justice soon.

            I have been facing the problem with Vodafone network from a long time. I raised a problem in Nov 2007 then again May 2008 but nothing has been done yet.Today again i have raised a complaint and the Customer care executive is telling me that he doesn't know how much time it will take to solve the issue.

            Vodafone network is the worst in bangalore and specially in shanti nagar. Even Spice network is better
            My cell phone no. [protected]. I live in Kalena agrahara, bannerghatta road, Bangalore-72. My phone says that there's no network. I have had this problem for 24 hours. I am put to hardship.
            There's no network, says my cell phone. I live in Kalena agrahara, Bangalore. I have expereinced this problem for about 24 hours. What is the solution?

              cheating after taking connection
              respecte sir/madam,
              hello sir i am Ashish Choudhury [protected] took a new connection from vodafone service at infosys bangalore counters on my current number .my new connection no is [protected].i had clearly talked to personals of vodafone present in infosys that my std usage will be be high and i need a plan according to the same. they showed me various plans and i found one plan where the STD charges will be 1.30 paise and there will be 600 minutes of local vodafone to vodafone charges free. All the paper work was done by them as they were from vodafone itself i thought that they will be doing the correct thing. No its been near 30 days that i took connection i get a call from vodafone that my credit limit is crossed and i need to pay immediately. I told the customer care reprenstative that i am a corporate customer and i shud get the detail itemised bill in my account(I remb while filling up the form i had mentioned that) and then i will verify the same and pay accordingly. But they said that i cannot get that in my mail as my plan doesnot allow that and if i want it they will charge me 75 rs extra. any ways i registerd into the vodafone website and got the bill and the floor under my leg just slipped when i saw that i had been charged 2.40 per std call. I took the printout to the center in infosys and approched the person who ahd filled in my details he said that my plan has 2.40 per std call and he cannot do anything about that and i need to pay that. My outgoing has been barred as because of the credit limit. Now is it my fault if those persons of vodafone are uneducated ppl and dont know the customer needs why are the selling the connections.
              I am completel cheated . please tell me what all further actions can i take regarding this .

              My cell no is [protected].i am using this prepaid connection upto 1 week only.i have 340 minuts free calls offers. but right now my outstanding is 508.then im not using this no.but day to day increase my outstanding. so want to clarify how is it possible.am very un happy about this connection.Vodafone make fool the customer.

                I wondered to see my bill after 16 days struggle. I am very much thankful to you all VODAFONE guys who helped me.

                Everytime I call, they ask for phone number, name and other details. They ask for problem, raise a complaint and they aks to wait for 24 hrs. If I start enquiring...they disconnects the call.

                Again call back, again enquiry of phone number, name and problem, rasing a complaint, asks to wait for 24 hrs...

                Next day, again same thing repeted.

                When I ask to connect me to one of their supervisors...they simply told that they are verymuch busy and not able to attend the call. If I insist them to connnect...they hang off the phone.

                When I tried to check in your vodafone site, I got the I/O error message. The screen shot attached with this mail. I am facing this prob with ur site since from my first day. I called your customer care after this problem only to get help.

                Sir, Please understand from customer's perspective. How a customer feel the situation. Everytime he call, gets a new guy into phone asks for the same details and asks to wait for 24 hrs...it is not for one day. For 16 days...listening the same thing for 16 days...how could be the customer emotions.

                I did not see this type poor response in the past.

                I am very much sorry for the inconvinience caused.

                Please, I am sincerely requesting you to understand the customer problem and try to help him. Don't treat him as a waste fellow. He is ur business resource.

                I got much frustration on ur customer care.
                I am requesting you to stop my postpaid vodafone connection. My mob nos. are
                [protected]. am using two vodafone postpaid connection. am realy sorry to say that am feeling financial problem to pay this two vodafone bills.

                  Outgoing barred

                  I purchased a Vodafone Prepaid no [protected] on 19th June 08 from Shriram Communication, NIT, Faridabad after submitting all required documents. The sim worked well for 2 days and then from 21st June its outgoing was barred due to non- submission of documents. Mr. Sachin of Shriram Communication said that he submitted the documents on 20th June. The outgoing is still not working today on 24th June and now the dealer Sachin is not responding...

                  I have deposited 500 rs. in cash in one of the kiosk machine at vodafone vashi railway station cetre. The amount is not updated yet and they are asking me to make the bill payment again. I have visited the vodafone store twice and there is no positive response for my resquests.
                  I wanted to change my postpaid connection into prepaid, so I had visited vodafone care centre, Mulund(W) near Shoppers stop, they had told me that my bill is Rs.780 & I have to pay Rs.280 after deducting Rs.500 deposit. I had deposited Rs.280 in cash in one of the kiosk machine at vodafone cetre in Mulund(w). The amount is not updated yet and they are asking me to make the bill payment again. I have told this to the persons who were coming to me or calling me. Now they are continuosly calling me, harassing me & my family for the payment from last 3 months and there is no positive response for my resquests.

                  I'm attaching the message which I had received from vodafone after making the payment of Rs.280.
                  This message was received on 04th January 2009, Sunday at 7.20pm
                  We are processing your Bill payment of Rs. 280 by Cash. The amount will be credited to your Vodafone Account subject to verification.
                  have deposited 1054 rs. in cash in one of the vodafone mini store in shalimar garden ext - 2. The amount is not updated yet . i hav visited them thrice and made them several calls, every time they say i willl be done in 20 min. but the payment is not updated since past five days and all calls are barred inspite of making the payment before due dt. cust care ppl are not ready to help and asking to resolve on my own and they are asking me to make the bill payment again.there is no positive response for my resquests

                    I am a New customer of Vodafone.
                    Last week on 14/06/2008, I bought a prepaid connection [protected] from a local dealer in Pune. I submitted all the relevent documents for the same. But the sim card is not activated for outgoing calls. It was activated for incoming call but they are also barred since yesterday.

                    I have bought vodadone sim last saturday 07/03/2009 form M/s. Navkar Telecom, Nangloi. My sim card no. is[protected] and vodafone contact no. is [protected]. I told to vodafone customer care department a number of time but my problem is not shortout yet. I discussed with Mr. Pankaj Luthra in vodafone customer care department. when I bought vodofone sim they have given sim activation period 18-48 hours it will be activated. it was not activated and sim activate on friday 13/3/2009 afternoon. My vodafone and others outgoing calls has been activated but incoming call is not being activated only vodafone incoming call taking received.

                    Vodafone — my prepaid card not active

                    sir i have bought a lifetime card of vodafone and had miss to recharge in six month when i went to refill it they told me that you regharge for Rs 200 and phone will get activate with 2 hours which did not happen . then I want vodafone gallery opp passport off they told it will be active within 48 hours affter which i again went to the same gallery the person again made my wife pay Rs 99 for activation of same number and Rs 10 for talktime and still the phone did not start after some time the person at the gallery told my wife that the had some technical problem & she can leave and the phone will start within 2 hours my wife had asked the person that if that requires any document regarding activation as for last 3 days she was coming daily to the gallery the person there said he did not required any thing from her and she can go but still phone did not get activated when we called up 111 the told us the that your document are not there and my self to your costumer care service mr krisid he told me the same and on insisting he gave me complian number[protected] Sir i have simple request you start that phone and if you cannot start that phone i request you transfer the bal in that phone to vodafone no [protected] for any other detail talk you call on my mobile [protected]
                    If you guys can't do anything then also inform me then I can take my step
                    i have bought a vodafone prepaid simcard with the number of [protected] on 24.10.2009 from my local dealer in salem, Tamilnadu but till now my outgoing call is not get activated eventhough i tell the problem to vodafone care but they r not responding for the above problem.

                    Most pathetic service vodafone have, i am waiting since a long time after converting postpaid to prepaid.

                    No one is giving satisfactory answer to me.

                        I had ordered a new SIM card on march 8th 2008, which got activated only on 3rd june 2008. To top it all, my SIM has been blocked by vodafone " esteem executives" and the customer care executives are super rude . I can't make and receive call. What kind of services do they actually run?!?!? I am perplexed.


                        I tried calling gulshan arora of the company on the no. mentioned on their site, but no response or I guess he is too busy to take anyones call.

                        i was recharge my cell 25th april 2008 with e top 124 recharge and still they don't providing me any services. he was deduct my 100 Rs balance also. vodaphone customer care is very bad.

                        Vodafone Customer Care Services are drastic, I went to their Lajpat Nagar, Delhi store and submitted an amount of Rs. 3000 for activation of International Roaming to My Vodafone No. [protected]. And, they at that time confirmed me that i will get activated within 2 -4 working hours and after exactly 6 hours i called up Vodafone Customer Care as I didn't get any confirmation message or call from vodafone regarding the above mentioned, they told me that your payment is not reflecting and also my HDFC bank confirmed me about the payment as i paid this through my credit card.

                        They told me to go back to particular vodafone store where i paid that amount, when i reached there actually the store was closed at that point of time. And even the gentleman sitting at Ansal Plaza Vodafone store didn't even bothered to see me as he was too busy talking with somebody in personal.

                        Now, as i am travelling at 4.35 early morning tomorrow, there is no option but to go without roaming facility on my number which will lead to a great caos.
                        I totaly agree with you since i have been try their noodle officers and appellate officers there phone are not bein gpicked up and what kind off mobile services they are running its totaly fraud bussiness. to squeeze the customers money they are fishing the people.

                          I am totally fetup from the vodafone customer care executives ...
                          I dnt know why they provide wrong information.
                          and if not then why there is verification in information given by different executives on same issue...
                          And if they caught red handed by some customers then they just cut off the calls or just hang out the calls.

                          On feb 2011 i got a call from vodafone customer service that they have 50% off on caller tunes. That is 180Rs for 12 months. So i have replied them i can pay 180 in the same bill. Try to make it monthly payment of 15rs per month. Even they replied "sure sir we have that offer". You will receive a confirmation call in next 2 hrs just tell them ok to activate . I replied the same . And i received a payment on march 2 nd they have charged total 180 Rs at same time.

                          How irresponsible and don't they have a sense of mind to provide the wrong information.

                          I have called to customer care to ask the information about complaint they said sorry sir we don't know info. This is the way to answer.. Then what is the use of being a customer care? If they want to give info they will call from customer care and will say Blaaa.. blaa blaa... to trap the people .

                          And also i am requesting all the people please don't take post paid connection if you do they wont allow you to change it to prepaid. They will say with in 6 months you can change to prepaid sir. But it is all false info. I suffered a lot to change to prepaid .

                          Hence i comment vodafone Essar customer service is very bad.

                          Vodafone — provide wrong information

                          I have a connection of VODAFONE (postpaid) , i m very much happy with its services but when need a internet plan i call to customer care to know the details of the internet plans he told me some plans , in that plans i like the plan of Rs- 299/- in that he told me that there is 5GB is free per day , but actual thing is that it will calculated 5GB per month, i got to know all that things when i received my bill that time i talked to customer care he told me that what ever i used i have to pay all that amount. he is not agree that he provide me wrong information about the plan after asking 4-5 times .he always saying this thing that they never convey wrong detail.
                          he dont clear my doubt and i pay my bill because i like its services.

                            Vodafone Delhi Customer Service - very bad and unresponsive

                            I have been using Vodafone (previously Hutch) Delhi for quite some time - their customer service, that is, number 111 has gone from bad to worse. While they are showing advertisement that boasts of their good customer care, the fact is that in spite of waiting for more than 20 minutes for almost every day since the last 2 weeks, I have not been able to get anyone on line.

                            I am in a short visit to kerala for 2 weeks, I purchased one vodafone prepaid connection of above mentioned no.([protected]) from a vodafone agent in Thakazhy, Alappuzha, on 12 th June.I submitted all the necesary documents as requested by the agent on the same day itself.I have given the same mobile no. for my brother's matrimonial advertisement in the 5th page of manorama classifieds on 15 th June. (classified no.EKR45234531KTM).but unfotunately from 19 th morning onwards my connection has been disconnected due to some strange reasons as they explain. I contacted customer care of the company for several times on 10.30 AM 19th june and they promised to reactivate my no. within 48 hours. But till now my connection remains as disconnected. I lost a lot of calls and my valuable time and prestige by giving negative messages upon trying on my no. in respose to the clasified i have given for my brothers Marriage. Also I lost the advantage of advertisement and my valuable money i spent for the advertisement due to the worst customer service provided by the company. On my every call to the customer care and their marketing agents, they are interested only to transfer the respsibility inside their organisation, No body is ready to take the responsibilty to reactivate my connection.

SIDDENLY I HAD FINISHED MY PHONE BALANCE. SO THAT I HAVE GIVEN RS. 201/- TO MR RAKESH (VODAFONE DEALER) FOR RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT DATED 13TH JUNE 2008 AT 9.00PM. AND GIVE HIM MY MOBILE NO. BUT THE DEALER HAS RECHARGED SOME OTHER ACCOUNT NO. [protected]. NEITHER THE DEALER REFUND MY MONEY NOR RECHARGE MY ACCOUNT SO FAR. THE DEALER HAS TOLD ME THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN ME WRONG NUMBER.                                   i have vodaphone no[protected] for past 6 years. I have lot of calls and payment mode is through credit card. i am staying in Kanakanagar -R T Nagar-32.

                                  Now a days i am working from home and through this mobile no..
                                  i am facing a problem that always network is busy and or showing no coverage.. Per day i have around 100 calls . today i didn't get any calls . As i enabled missed call alert, i got messsege and i have to call back.. thats way i lost my money and time
                                  If any call comes and start conversation .. suddently it switched to another tower and disconnecting..

                                  Please suggest your opion and resolve or i have to go other good operators like AIRTEL or any other providers

                                    my Vodafone mobile number is [protected] and i had rupees 72 on my account on 17-6-08 and i have been deducted of rupees of 99 on my phone on 18-06-08 without any reason. i have called to the customer care and they told me that i have activated some kind of package/download form the gprs on 18-06-08 at 02-20 pm. I have NOT activated any package/download on the gprs. So there is NO chance of money being deducted. I have talked to the Vodafone customer care and talked to JAVID TAHASILDAR one of their employ who told me that im giving some kind o[censored]seless and logicalness excuses. there fore i want my money refunded back please take action immediately.

                                    Vodafone — talk time deducted without any reason

                                    in the month of july 2009 150/- talktime was deducted. after calling the customer care of vodafone they nicely convinced me that talk time will be credited within 72 hrs and they admitted all was due to some erroneous transaction from their part and i was given a complain no.As usual i didnot get back my talktime. I called them up again.Very promptly they again said it will be credited within 48 hrs.obviously i didnot happen.after that somehow they blocked my phone no for about 1 month and i was not able to contact the customer care people. till date i have not got my talktime back. I would like to request the govt to pls take care of these things because these private concerns are doing whatever they want because they dwell in a notion that nobody is having an upper hand in this government and they have taken things for granted. Even i have supporting evidences of the false assurances of the customer people as i have recorded them. I once told them abt this consumer complain bt offcourse they know no steps will be taken against hem.

                                    I being a consumer would like to request the government to pls take some step against these nuisance and they are least bothered about their activities.

                                    mujhe company ki taraf se call aayi ki app MCI (missed call information) service activate kar lo but mane mana kar de. and next day mujhe message aaya ki appki MCI service activate kar de gaye hai. us ke baad mane company ko call ki customer care ne kaha ki app us time tak wate kar lijeye jab tak rupees app ke account se kaat nahi late. 2 hrs ke baad rupees kaat liye gaye mane customer care ko call ke to wo kahte hai ki app 12 hrs ke baad call kar lo abhi system me problem chal rahi hai, mane dobara call ke to wo bhir wahi khani dohra dete hai, sir ab mai kya karu

                                    my vodafone no iz [protected], muzafar ahmad .vodafone auto activated love guru tips on my number and deduced money from my account while i didnt activated the service on 4th of sep 10. when i csked to refund the money they told me it will take 48 hors to refund . i was waiting till 48 hours were our but my money was not debited into my account, then i called custumer care for the same reason n they told me upto 12 pm of 6sep 10 u will get ur money back. still i didnt get my money back.during the whole day they gave me diifernt times when i asked the custumer care executives. later at night they told me itthe money is being debited to ur account but u didnt get the money due to system problem will get the same till 12 am of 7sep 10. finally the didnt refund my money. on 07 sep the activatd another service romance on my no an dedeced money from my account . when i aske d for the same the told me it will take another 48 hors to get the money... now when i tried to call the custumer care , they simply bared my calls to custumer care.. plz help
