Sir,

I, Atanu Das, holding mobile number [protected]. I recharged Rs 31/- for making rhe STD calls of Rs 1/- on 17-05-08 on 10:15PM. And immediately I got the message from Vodafone stating that your account has been refilled successfully.

But till evening 21-05-08, 7:00PM, whatever the STD calls I have
done, your company has charge each STD call Rs 2.65/- each. I have made several calls to customar care division. And the executives had given different reply from company end. somebody told - whatever they have charged extra after refilling that will be
reimbursed. somebody told - no reimbursement is possible. somebody told - not to make any call till the activation. I got the message refilled succeesfully, but customer care personnels telling me that activation has not been made. What is this? After activation what next? "Your activation done, but your service has not been started?" - like this or anything else?

Now I want to know - Is it a service of a company like Vodafone? The company has offered the above said scheme.I being a consumer of that company has taken that offer. Now the service has not been activated.
Is it my fault? I have paid less? So, why I will be suffered? The Company has been charged extra Rs 1.65/- in each call of arounds 85 calls.
So, I request you to take the immediate action about this matter.

Vodafone — STD connection

Hi,

I cannot make my STD calls from my vodafone no [protected] since last week. I called customer care but they are not responding appropriately, they just filed a complain and asked me to wait for a week without giving any reason for discontinuing my STD calls, I have my daily work of STD calls, its affecting my urgent business calls badly.

If someone is hearing. please do the needful

    Hello Sir/Madam :

    I was the subscriber of VodaFone no.- [protected]. In the month of Nov 2007 i lost my cell phone in bangalore & i called the customer care department and i asked them to stop the connection. After that the executive asked me that would you like to continue with the same no. Because i was relocated in bangalore so i requested to close my account. He suggested me to surrender the SIM in VodaFone store, when i went there they told me " because this number belongs to UP East you can not surrender in Karnataka. So i again called the VodaFone executive and describe my problem, they told me to make the payment and not to re issue a new SIM, so i asked to give the round off amount which i supposed to pay, The executive told me the out standing of Rs. 934.00/-, which i paid on 4 Nov 2007 in bangalore TIN NO. : [protected]. After that VodaFone people doesn't upgrade their data & they are continuously increasing my bill every month & collection executives are keep coming to my home address. And they disturb my parents by calling at night 9 pm - 10 pm. From my end i have finished all formalities even i went to bangalore's VodaFone store also but they said they can't help on it because this connection belongs to U.P. East. I dropper a mail to VodaFone [ vodafonecare.[protected]@vodafone.com ] but i haven't got any response from their side. This is a serious issue because they are giving a mental torture to my parents.

    I have one (hutch) VODAFONE pree paid sim this is giving erratic
    function two different sets. In nokia 1100 shows sim rejected, whereas idea airtel bsnl sim cards are working normally in this set, your Vodafone sim which is shown rejected in my Nikia 1100 is also working normally in other sets.
    Now please tell me what should i do with this sim The nuhber of this sim is[protected].

    Vodafone — Lost my mobile with sim card in the year 2007 month of november

    Dear Sir,

    AS i lost my mobile with the activation of sim card of prepaid life time in the month of november, year 2007.As i went to the vodafone customer care office they asked me the booklet which you receive with the sim card as i said am not having that book so they didnt blocked the sim card now that sim card is in activation condition and it is using by another person.So kindly block my sim card as soon as possible.

    I am associated with Vodafone from last 4 yrs & first time i am mailing u my complain.On 20th Oct 09 i recieved a call from your representative, he had told me about STD Pack in which no monthly rental will be charged and your STD calls will be charged 50 paise/minute.But in oct bill Rs 270 & in Nov bill Rs 699 is charged against this STD pack.
    I request u to please immidiately delete this monthly charges from my bill amount & deactivate this STD Pack & ensure that in Dec bill also no monthly charges should be added.I also want to inform you that i have informed my problem in customer care but no satisfactory answer was given by your staff.

      Vodafone should start a new advertising campaign "Happy to Harass". My mother was harassed by Vodafone recovery agent with all possible foul language and threatened her of dire consequences if the bill was not paid. Get this, there is a bill dispute on my sisters mobile and vodafone is trying to recover the same and they threaten my mother for recovery of my sister's bill. The method employed by Vodafone to recover this outstanding amount(around Rs. 2500).

      1) Hire a Goon with a filthy vocabulary, who can threaten customer with dire consequences.
      2) Take all the frequently called numbers from the mobile bill.
      3) Give these numbers to the hired GOON.
      4) Harass the unsuspecting mothers or friends, whomever the frequently called numbers belong to.

      I suggest, that for the "Happy to Harass" campaign, Vodafone can use the GOON instead of the PUG.

      Vodafone may have fancy adverting campaigns, but they are "Happy to Harass" as well.

      I hundred percent agree with this.
      The vodafne goons are coming to my pg ( girls hostel) and threatning everyone cuz one girl din pay the bill and left the PG.
      Is it fair to threaten someone else for someone elses bill just because they styed together in a same PG.
      That too those guys dont know how tobehave with girls.
      will the women police assist us regarding this.

        Hi this is srikrishna allahari and I am a postpaid customer of vodafone with mobile # [protected]. I have been subscribed for STD promo pack for which STD calls can be made at a discounted rate of 1 rupee as against 2.40 per minute. This service has been activated on 4th Feb 2008.
        On may 7th I requested for deactivation of this promotional pack by contacting the vodafone customer care and i have requested for activation of discounted STD tariff of Re 1.30 per min which is in effect from 8th may.

        My billing cycle is from 17th to 16th. so till 7th may all STD calls should be charged at Re 1
        but to my astonishment all these are charged at 2.40 per min with out any discount.

        When i contacted the customer care the reason they mentioned was promotional packs/discounted std packs can not be activated or deactivated in the middle of the month if done so will not be availing any discounts, which was not communicated while at the time of deactivation of this promotional pack nor has been mentioned anywhere on their public site http://www.vodafone.in

        This has not been communicated by the customer care person and when i call for enquiring about it they pretend to say that it has been communicated to me which was clearly not.

        This clearly come into the hidden charges and such things need to me mentioned clearly by the customer care persons or should be publicly available on the website.

        This is just a case of cheating its customers.

        Series of Events

        31st Jan 2008-Post paid connection got activated
        4th Feb 2008-Activation of STD promotional pack
        17th Feb 2008-First Bill got generated and STD promo charges of Rs 22.65 have been charged for the duration (4th feb to 17 feb)

        7th May 2008-Deactivated STD promo pack
        8th may 2008-Activated Discounted STD @ Rs 1.30 per min

        17th may 2008-4th bill got generated.
        STD promo pack charges of Rs 37.80 have been charged for the duration (17th feb to 7th May)

        Calls made till 7th of may are charged at Rs 2.40 per min as against discounted 1 rupee.
        and calls made from 8th may to 17th may are charged at Rs 1.30 as per subscription

        Please advice as to how this could be handled. I am thinking of approaching consumer forum as its an unfair trade practice

        unnecessary deduction of balance on usage of gprs. vodafone does not provides any notification for low balance and the balance goes in minus.
        the company says they charge 10p/10kb but while opening some wap sites they charge any desirable amount they like without any notification.

        My Name is Gopakumar Pillai and My number [protected].
        The Reason for my mail is to complain against the vodafone service.
        I have been using the post paid service of vodafone since last 3 months and i have got the credit limit of 800 Rs.
        I dont understand that if my credit limit is 800 Rs then how i am able to use till
        3747 Rs.
        I got a call from vodafone and the name of that lady who call me was ashwathy, she call me 3 times on 19Nov, 20Nov, 21Nov 2008 from [protected], she call me to inform that i have exceeded my credit limit so i need to do the payment i ask what would be my bill she told that my unbill is more than 3000 Rs but i will get the bill of 1247 Rs, so only need to do the payment of 1247 Rs On 22"nd Nov 2008.


        Then i call customer care on 111 on 22"nd November 2008 they were not able to tell my bill they told that it will take 24 hours to get the update of my bill on the system. Then a supervisor from vodafone call me his name was VIVEK K.R and he told me that I need to do the payment of 3500 to release my outgoing and he also told me to go to vodafone outlet then they will help me. I went to vodafone outlet and that people told me to do the payment of 3100 Rs. Now I dont know what to do, I m not happy with service of VODAFONE POST PAID SERVICE. TOTALLY FRUSTRATED SO HELP ME.
        So Do the need full.

            some days ago I activated vodafone live service but balance is going down fastly,
            so I want to deactivate it, for deactivation when I tried to connect customer executive, it doesn't connect,
            then I searched on web, then I found sms CAN VL to 52586, I did it but instead of getting deactivation settings, I got message that to activate vodafone live GPRS settings sms VL to 52586,
            so please send me the deactivation code. I hope you will listen me soon.

Automatically Vodafone live is activated on my mobile, i am sending message to 144 "CAN VL" they are deactivating for the time being or maximum for one month and again after one month same problem - Vadofone live gets activated and by the time I send message for deactivating they already charge Rs.150 to 200 ruppees.

            Is there any solution or I have to change service from Vodafone to some other service provider.

            Vadofone live gets activated and by the time I send message for deactivating they already charge Rs.150 to 200 ruppees.

            Is there any solution or I have to change service from Vodafone to some other service provider.

                I bought a NEW VODAFONE POSTPAID CONNECTION FOR Rs.250/-Plan with the schemes that I would be getting Rs 200/-. I was SHOCKED to see my first bill that was with Rs 444/- Plan. In CUSTOMER CARE I WAS complained so many times, but there is no action. I request that Pl close my post paid no [protected], because of this plan is not affordable to me. If I had any idea regarding 444 plan, then I could call at least of Rs 444/-. So I am again requested to you that Pl close my this no. & adjust your bill in my security deposit. Also I request you that Pl send confirmation letter to me for this connection closing.

                  i am a vodafone postpaid customer -[protected]- i opted for a ten paisa to 1 no. plan from vf on 13 or 16th december 07, ur exe comfirmed me that the plan will be activated within 72 hrs.. late on i caled after 3 days at yr cust care n gt the comfirmation that the plan was activated, i used my connection as per that, on 1st jan i caled cust care n again confirmed the plan n they said that its activated, i was happy bt on 11th i recieved my bill of a huge amount.. which i ws nt expectin.. i again gave a req n a ccomplain bt gt no resp. again i gt confirmation that the plan wil b activated n again they failed n no plan was activated on feb 2... i gt 2 huge bills n then i went for a vf care shop in faridabad n they helped me out n got me a 388rs waver bt i deserved a waver of 800rs nw since then m roamin in vf shops n talkin 2 cce's bt no responce is been given... please help me out guys.. ppl say that i can fine u n sue u in consumer court n recenly vodafone suffered from a 10 lakhs fine from consumer foroum cz of misleadin promotions... i dont expect this from u so simplycorrect my bills n remove all late payments 2bz m not payin til u correct it...

                    SIM rejected

                    I was on roaming when all of a sudden the mobile started showing SIM rejected and asking me to insert new SIM. Inspite of contacting the customer services both here and in Mumbai...I am yet to get any proper reply from them. Vodafone has just got patented replies..and this was never the case when my number was with Orange or Hutch. Again I never have had any problems with my SIM or mobile as long as I was with them.                     Hello sir/madam.. i m a vodafone prepaid customer [protected] (booked in the name of Shashidhar ht)from Mysore, Karnataka. I m at Delhi.. roaming since two days.. i dint get any problem till afternoon today. Then my sim stopped getting recognized. other vodafone r working and other's sim is getting recognized by mobile.. i tried all to get signals nothing is working.. Presently i m at Delhi around AIIMS/SAFDARJUNG area..

                      Hi...

                      I'm Vikas and i'm using vodafone prepaid customer from the past 4 years...
                      Last month on 22th of april i recharged my vodafone number([protected]) from 451 thru online banking... I saw this plan on the internet and recharged... here's de link to de page http://vodafone.in/Vodafone/Pre/Pages/pre_offer_kar.aspx#great and go to karnataka and Great Deals on Recharges and on the page its calls @ 25paise...

                      My plan was nt changed even after 24hrs... So, on 25th i complained in Vodafone Store and they registered my complaint and registration number is[protected] and the told they'll call me in 2-3 days and resolve my query... But even after 1 week i didn't receive call from them...
                      After a week when i asked them to my surprise they said that they had called me and my query was resolved...

                      So, i registered a complaint again on 7th May with registration number[protected]... and told they'll call me back in 24hrs but as usual didn't receive call from them...

                      Every time i go there they r giving the same reply...

                      Please help me out of this...

                      Hi! I am working with Bank of America. So, I just planned to get my connection to be a coporate one so I submitted all my documnents at the Ansal Plaza Vodafone Store on 28th of Jan. 2008 but they never bothered to anything. And subsequently I marked a mail to them from my official id but they are least bothered about this. Then I marked a mail to my Relationship Manager attaching all my documents but he is also least bothered about this rather he does not have that much time to pick my call. If i call from some other number then he use to give false committment that yes it has been done. But till date that has not being done. I dont know what to do now.
                      These Vodaofone guys are not taking their job seriously.
                      Please help me and pull me out of this situation.

                      Even I have faced a similar problem. Vodafone was charging me at a very high rate for the calls that I was making. I had requested to change my plan on 16th April 2010, but nothing happened. Later when I called up again on 22 April 2010 to check on it, I came to know that the request was not at all registered. So, I registered the request again. However, even for the second time, the plan was not changed. Finally, I had to caqll and blast their executive. Later the executive changed the plan withing 2 hours of the call.

                      I guess they just dont want to provide any service and want to get money from customers for nothing.

                        Vodafone keeps sending spam SMS messages flogging unwanted and unsolicited services without our permission or request. Similarly, we are flooded with taped phone sales calls which are a nuisance.

                        Complaints filed at Vodafone online feedback has not elicited proper response.

                        Also, what is very concerning is that though I had charged my phone with Rs.150 recently and had not called anyone yet, when I tried calling their Call Center to complain about these SPAM problems, I got the message that I had just one minute talk time left!? Where did my money go?

                        Please help us get proper action and compensation from Vodafone.

                          Dear,

                          I have been using your vodaphone prepaid services for two years, my phone number is [protected]. I did not have any complaint or problome till hutch was not acquired by vodaphone. After the acquirement by vodaphone I started receiving unncessary calls, massages & request for caller tunes. For a while i thought it would stop by itself, however, it had crossed the limit when a caller tune was activated automatically by itself and dedcuted money from my phone balance.
                          I talked to customer care of the said company for several time but it was of no help, it only kept promissing that it would stopped by it self, however, when it deducted the money from my phone account i decided to lodge a complaint against the said company.
                          I hope my grivances will be addressed as soon as possible.

                          Vodafone Prepaid — discrepency in services

                          I am a 7 days old subscriber (connection taken at 2nd Oct-09 mob no: [protected]) connection taken from your dealer “Mobile Store”, Near Power House Road Bathinda). I have asked for some tariff Vouchers for SMS and STD call rates to Dealer. He told me to recharge 110 Rs Recharge for STD and 25 Rs Recharge for SMS. They never told me that these two recharges will not work together. Further my STD call rates remained 1.5 Rs/min. Further I made query about my call rates to the Dealer at 4 Oct -09. Dealer called customer care and told me that one of your services can not be continued with other one. I said you should have told me during recharge as I was a new Subscriber, then he told that my Rs 25 recharge will be cancelled. Still it has not been executed by Service Provider. Today 7-Oct-09, I have a conversation with Customer Care and did not get positive reply, further more he was telling this is a subscriber done mistake and no communication ID request was rejected by your customer care. I just want to know why a subscriber will pay Rs 110 to Service Provider to increase his call rate to 1.5 Rs per min, and beside helping consumer your customer care held responsible consumer itself.

                            I have booked a request for Vodafone post paid new connection in the name of THE GURUKUL TRUST to their customer care on 07 May 2008. Mr Anant Singh (Mob-[protected]) of M/S Intouch Solution Pvt Ltd having their office at B-66, Naraina Industrial Area, Phase II, New Delhi-110028 visited us on 07 May 2008 and issued us a SIM card No [protected], giving new mobile connection No-[protected] of Vodafone by paying Rs 250.00 in cash and necessary receipt has been obtained. He has promished that the said given number will be activated with next 48 hours. When it was not activated with till 11th of May 2008, we have tried to make contact to the above named representative number of times but he has cut our phone calls knowingly. On 12 May 2008, we have managed to contact his senior Mr Balwant/Varun at his Mobile [protected] and he informed about his requirement of some additional documents. Accordingly, the same were collected by Mr Anant Singh on 13 May 2008 with a promish to activate the new connection within 24 hours. Now neither the above dealing persons of Vodafone are picking our telephones, nor the new connection has been activated. On enquiry from the Vodafone customer care, it has been told to us that without reflection of data of said connection in their system, they can not help us anything.
                            You are requested to advise further suitable steps for this unwanted harassment to the customer by the Vodafone.

                              Vodafone sucks BIG TIME.

                              I got a vodaphone connection and submitted all documents. After couple of days they barred my clip and outgoing saying they have not received documents. Then I resubmitted on their vodaphone shop and now they say they have recieved but will not activate until they verify. Do hell with their process, I bought the connection, paid for it and I am being harassed coz their supply chain is weak. Not to mention umpteen calls I made to their customer care, customer care calls dropping any arbitrary time, and long wait times.

                              This company is going to hell.

                              It is requested that I have never bought this number [protected] before in my life this number was fraud Suspected number when I was receiving bills of that number I have informed also in your Vodafone store Sec 35/C to Mr. Ashish..& he told me that I'll not receive bill from next month onwards & still your company was providing services to that number & now your company has added my name in default list due to non payment of the bill around 900 something ..So please adjust the amount of that number & delete my name from the default list please don't keep my name in default list...

                                Two months back i changed my plan to group talk, so that i can speak to my friends at free of cost... i was told that the internal calling (friends group) would be free... now i come to know that the sme plan cost me 1 rupee/min. also i had subscribed for an additional pack in which i was suppose to get free caller id and any call at 50 paise/min which now i am deprived from... this is redicules. Initially when we plan to change our billing plan we are promised hell lot of things, out of which i am not getting anyone of them. now i am being charged for my caller id and all the terriff rates have changed to 1 rupee/min.. this is so frustrating... U guys promise us something and do somethings else. now out of this cheos i am planning to change my service to AIRTEL and ill make sure that all my friends who are planning to suscribe for this service stay away from this. All this while i have been fool around by your representatives. It doesnt matter if i make calls or not but my bills remians stagnent. If this is the case i am not paying the bill which is appx 3, 000. All the people from higher management are requested to look into this matter or else this will a fortune for ur company..

                                This is madhu from infinite.presently i am using the vodafone no:[protected].for this one one of vodafone provider named dharmi came to our office and told the ofer like 175cug with sms pack worth 30rs i can get 3333 national or local sms free by mistakely i am taken this worst vodafone network sim and i used this one.i am feeling that this sms offer is there i used like that.but the bill is generated as their like.that fraud fellow is telling that offer will activate on another month thats why i continued but bill is going high there is no use.i am requested lot of times to close my connection with this network.i requested to them but they were simply making calls and telling that we are going to close but until now not happening.previously i mailed the mail on 15th september 2009 on that day itself they want.from last 2 days onwards i am not using the sim itself but they were charging.i called the customer care people and i am asked about the clarification.they were telling that i need to wait for a october25th.whats happening i dont know.for cancelling also they were taking this much of time.what is this????.at any how i want to close the relationship with the vodafone please save me these people are continously wrong charging and taking money through the ECS with my bank account...

                                  I Mrs Sudha Nikhil Mehta received call in my pre paid vodafone number to subscribe to vodafone post paid services. When i agreed they came home took Rs.300, proof of identity. They gave me acknowledgement in a DSA Scheme Form and a mobile number to follow up. Since then i had been repeatedly calling the number initially a lady responded by telling my new SIM card will be send. Then they stopped taking the calls also. The center from which the agent has come was: M/S M.R System Devices, Utsav Banquet Hall, Ist Floor, Ganapati Bhuvan, Behind New Era Cinema, Malad, Mumbai - 84. ADS -31. Its pathetic that telecom companies like this give agency contract to cheat without verifying thier background. I have decided never to subscribe to post paid services and i will unsubscibe from vodafone. I feel cheated and I am ashamed that I am a vodafone customer

                                  I am a Vodafone Customer of post paid connection. Many days ago i have made a complaint against the poor network coverage. But none of the stupid vodafone guys responded to this issue still.
                                  I am a frustrated customer. Vodafone sucks the money from the customer by putting all the tax and other things but dont even resolve the issue. Vodafone the Worst company ever...

                                  I am a customer of vodafone ROB with the number[protected]. I am really depressed of the irresponsibe behave from vodafone. If i need to call 111 three times in a day then the line will be automatically barred by them. Everytime i am sending mail or call nodal they are telling me it's a temporary congestion. Now the question is that how many times they need to tell that it's a congestion. Why do their congestion occur after 3 calls in a day? Basically this is a irresponsible company trying not to give enough services to their clients. IF someone call their help line number then they are behaving like they are the RULERS o[censored]s. West Bengal nodal of vodafone is telling lies all the time. If a people giving them the service tax then they are bound to give the services. I called vodafone , sent mail for the same but nothing is turned on. Why? From where they got the power of barring customer care line? Is there any permanent solution?

                                      I am a prepaid Consumer of Vodafone. The No. is [protected].
                                      on 6th May they set a caller tune without information and deducted. I Complained on that day and it was told that everything will be done."Do not Worry". Till now they have not credited my amt. and providing false information at least 10 times. As a customer I feel helpless and want to take action immediately against vodafone and I claim for my harassment.

                                      My balance is deducted nearly more than 165/- on 5th feb (this is not first time) after 2-3 days they have refunded 70/- and within some minutes again deducted 33/-. I'm calling frequently to the customer care(CC), they are saying we will refund it within 2hrs, 4hrs, 8hrs, 12hrs, 24hrs and even 1/2hr they told and sometimes they dissconnected/deactivated the call to the CC. And now its 15th feb 2011 and still they not refunded my bal amount..... Vodafone service is very bad, they them selves activates some service and deducts the amount and they say that you have activated it..My no. [protected]

                                      On new year day, rs, 54 has been deducted by the vodafone service. I didn't activate anything.
