hi... vodafone i m palvinder singh my contact no. [protected] i m working in vodafone customer care in delhi process since one year in prepaid dept. i have my TAP conection it's abovr mention in my complaint your retention dept will call on my mother no. [protected]
at least 6 times they sad to my mother that we will case you regardings your payment my moter is a heart petiant & she told me to pay my bill but my bill is already payed by my company INTELENET GLOBAL PVT LTD. for rs.664 on[protected] . but still they call on my no. pls gave me an reason for my prob thanks

    I am a Medical Officer, having retired at the level of Joint Secretary in the Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India. With very high hopes that Vodafone is considered the best cellphone service in the world, I purchased a prepaid connection in the last week of September 2007. My Mobile No. is [protected]. From the very first Day I am having extremely poor connectivity/network problem at my residence. My Residential Address is T-52, Senior Citizen Home Complex welfare Society, P-4, Kasna Road, Greater Noida - 201308. I have made innumerable calls to the customer service of Vodafone and have visited local Vodafone outlet umpteen no. of times for redressal of my above mentioned problem. What is disgusting is that every time I am being told that a New Tower will be built shortly ( expected time duration as told to me everytime has been 01 week, 02 weeks or 01 month ). It has been happening for last more than 07 months. In between I was once told by vodafone people that my SIM card is of 16 KB and I should get it replaced with a 32 KB Sim card. I did that at the cost of Rs. 99 around 03 months back. The vodafone outlet people, at Alfa commercial belt, Greater noida told me that change of SIM is not likely to make any difference, which was in contradiction to what I was told on phone by Vodafone people. Still I took a chance and got the SIM replaced. However, it has NOT made any difference. The connectivity problem remains the same, if not worse. Then came the biggest surprise from vodafone customer service deptt. I was informed that if I take POSTPAID plan, the connectivity problem will be solved. Certainly I don't expect vodafone people to consider me a fool to believe this statement. I am extremely hurt and disgusted by the way the whole issue is being handled. I would be most happy if vodafone tells me that the problem cannot be resolved. In that case I will not complain any further and will make alternate arrangement. As it is I am having one additional Airtel connection to at least remain connected as talking on my vodafone mobile is a very very painful experiance if at all it is connected and that too for a maximum of few seconds. Certainly I don't expect to be treated in this manner by a company with Global presence and which have been spending millions of Rupees for its publicity of its services.

    I would request the concerned officer(s) of vodafone to take necessary action and intimate me about the factual position in this matter to avoid any further mental agony in addition to monetary loss.

    Same problem I am facing past one month. Last one month before only I changed from Aircel to vodafone through Number Portability. I have raised two requests for this network issue. Both requests were closed without solution. I am waiting for 90 days completion of this network connection.

      I would like to share my today's experience for all those of you are using Vodafone GSM Service. I hold 3 postpaid connections with Vodafone under the 249 CUG Plan and have been associated with Vodafone/Hutch for more than 5 years on the whole. I have been getting too many telemarketing calls, blank calls & wrong numbered calls lately on one of my connections. I thought the best solution to end this menace would be to get my number changed.

      Today, after starting early to Office, I walked into a Vodafone Store located in Madhapur and to my horror I found only two Customer Service Executives present, one of them was sitting on the front desk (Enquiry and Token Issuer) and the second gentleman was assisting a Customer. There are a total of 5 Customer Service Bays and only one of them is operational, I repeat only ONE bay operational ' 20% service level in our language. After working for close to 3 years on Customer Sat % project and having AHT reduction in my DNA, what would you expect me to do? You are right, I counted opportunities - 8 Customers waiting including me which gives them an opportunity rate of 12.5% only, not to forget you have the 9th Customer being still being attended.

      I know there are always exceptions and issues such as outage, late arrival etc do happen so I sat patiently just praying that another one or two Vodafone Customer Service Executive steps in and start resolving queries, actioning Customer requests or in Vodafone Terms ''Happily Help Us''.

      15 Minutes later, waiting queue reduce to 6 including me and then another Customer walks in and starts talking to the front desk executive, 2 minutes later the front desk executive makes him sit just near the Single Customer Service executive and signals the executive to handle this brand new Customer first. This is the time when I pray for a Gun in my hand. Okay, at least a Baseball bat? Then quickly shifting my mind to the concept of Gandhigiri, I walked to the front desk executive and politely asked him if he believes in the logic of 'first come, first service' methodology. His face turned into a question mark, I tried a different approach by asking 'What is the token system for?'. He understood and replied 'Saaar (Sir), That Saaaar came early and then leave and come again'. Being a Hyderabadi, I understood what he wanted to say and then another Customer joined me saying that he was waiting 5 minutes from the time this store opened and did not see this brand new Customer stepping in. I looked back at the front desk executive thinking what would Gandhiji do now? Before, I could think of an answer, the executive defended asking us to be patient and wait for our turn (not as polite as the statement reads) and started blabbering in a local language which was not Telugu sounding as pissed as I should have been. I finally decided that it was time to protest, I raised my voice and demanded an explanation for the 4 empty bays. The simple reply was that the rest of the Team is in the evening shifts, come then and we will attend you. I wanted to thrash this fellow but comparing the built size of mine with his, I withdrew this idea and decided that I would just walk into a different store and if required even shift to a different service provider.

      I cannot help but add that I have just started loving public sector better than private sector, at least they do not set wrong expectations with marketing lines like 'Happy To Help' which are only good to hear but not to experience.

        i had activated 2 packages, national SMS 50ps/msg and local vodafone2 vodafone 50ps/min, with a daily rental of Rs.1.50.but since a few days, they're charging me the full rates i.e.national [protected]@Rs.2/sms [protected]@re.1, alongwith the full call charges despite of both my packages being active.called the customer care many times but to no avail.even got in touch with the nodal office for vodafone, but did not get any cooperation.i want to get the compensation.looking forward to your support and advice as to how to proceed further.these people just don't want to listen.plz help...

        1. I AM USING VODAFONE PREPAID CARD NO [protected]. I GOT RS 36 SMS PACK ACTIVATED ON 27-28

        SEP VALID FOR 1 MONTH OR 1000 SMS.

        2. I was on the scheme BUT ON 17 OCT I WAS CHARGED APPROX RS 190-200 FOR SMSes.

        3. WHEN I callED customer care centre to CLARIFY, I WAS TOLD THAT IT WAS A BLACK DAY

        FOR SMS AND THAT I VE BEEN BILLED FOR THE SAME.

        Firstly I WAS NEVER REPEAT NEVER INFORMED THAT THIS SMS PACK WILL NOT WORK ON 17 OCT,

        NEITHER WHEN I GOT THE SMS PACK ACTIVATED NOR ON 16TH IE A DAY PRIOR.

        I THINK THIS IS NOT A GOOD PRACTICE AND CHEATING THE CUSTOMER.

        I think you would be concerned and take the immediate actions for it.


        Moreover when I talked to the senior executive at 198, he told me that my problem CANNNOT be

        solved. And for that matter WHEN I ASKED HIM FOR THE PROCEDURE TO LODGE A COMPLAINT HE WAS

        NON RESPONSIVE AND WS WASTING TIME TO REPEATEDLY ASK WHAT WAS THE COMPLAINT.


        I wAnt TO get an reversal OF THE AMOUNT WRONGLY CHARGED AT THE EARLIEST.

        Please I would like to say the concerned authority that they should take some serious steps.

        Vodafone — deduction of charges

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        I have activated Mobile TV pack on my no. i.e. [protected], today. In response to that activation, I got message from Vodafone that I am eligible to watch all channels at Rs. 7/- per day, but I was not able to do that. Then I called to your customer care to ask about it than the concerned person said that, I can watch channels but I made him aware that there is some messages showing on some channels about premium charges than he said to me to on that channel and in return my “Channel –V” pack has been activated and I have charged with Rs. 30/- due to which my balance went to negative and after recharging my no. again I am not able to watch TV.

        Then, I again called to your customer care but he (Mr. Prince)disconnected the call without solving my problem. Again I called to customer care than without giving me full information your customer care executive (Mr. Rohit Singh) disconnected the call. Why don’t you close your customer service centre if they are not able to solve customer’s problems. Because of their lack of knowledge we people suffer from damages as in today’s case my balance has been deducted by Rs.30/-. I think, I did a crime by opting Vodafone in MNP because on regularly basis I am suffering from problems which cause mental harassment.

        I hope you will consider this dispute and try to solve it.

        Vodafone — deduction of charges

        I am a custumer of vodafone from last two month my m.no. is [protected] .i had miscall form that no [protected] on 27.04.11. but some resion i can't received the call. On 28.04.11 i want just check the call. i had misscalled on this no. For this call vodafone charged me Rs 100/-.Then i try to so many time to vodafone custumer care but they never help me they all time say thier is on any data found that show we will charged Rs. 100/-.

        Vodafone — EXCESS BILLING FOR USING VODAFONE TV

        I just used vodafone TV through mobile for viwing world cup matches and I saw just three matches for that they have charged about RS5000 as bill In this respect I sent to office and I talked to vodeafone officials but so far no remedy I prepare to setttle the bill provided they charged me reasobaly and my vodafone number is [protected]

        i am ajay chander with the vodafone no.[protected] experienced a terrible issue with vodafone customer service for wrong deduction of charges from my a/c. i have been charged -44 rs. for internet usage . when i asked the customer care , their reply is not at all convincing . when i asked for my report . they didnt even bother to enclose . as a customer i am disappointed by their negligence of act and when i called their higher official , he too answers irresponsibly . i dont know why they charge 50 rs. till now….. got fed up with their hecky response and i want any of your ppl to look forward to it and take immediate actions necessary … as from my experience i would like to say vodafone has the worst customer service that i ever encountered…

        mobile service (vodafone) — wrong deduction

        Dear Sir/Madam
        I have complaint regarding cellular company name vodafone .In month of march on date 5 year[protected] i have been charged for rs 89 for that they don't have any information bill sent by them by charging rs 50 . whenever i called in customer care mostly information is given that either you have been charged for GPRS or information is not available.


        I am using blackberry handset and using blackberry Internet services (BIS) for that they charge Rs 399 for 30 days. they advertise that if you use 399 blackberry plan user can do unlimited surfing and can download contents from free sites or can use applications for that nothing will be charged .

        I have visited twice to vodafone store once for deduction and once for bill as i have not received as said period of time .

        I have mailed them at nodal officer but they replied me by calling that whatever deductions have been done is correct
        but when i received bill nothing is shown why and where amount has been deducted on 5-3-12

          these days i got very fade up of services one day on 30apr2008 one msg came just to call on 888 to know the offer on my no after that i make a call and from there reply came that there is offer is avliable on my no but after that 55 Rs Deducted from my balance and activetd stv after that i visted vodafone care itold them that i had not activeted stv because it has bean allready activated but they said tha we cant help they said that you had activeted.Then many times io tried to call on c care but all times i got fail.so pls take a look on my complain and give reply soon

            vodaphone services very poor & customer care's person is also irritating. i was recharge my phone on 25th april 2008 with 124 e top recharge - call rate 10 paise to voda to voda. then they was giving me 100 rupees balace after 2 days they was deduct my 100 RS but still they don't have providing me any services. when i was call custumer care they don't lissen to my problem. what i do plz tell me i m very upset for this vodaphone services.
            This is the most UN user friendly system. i just can't believe that it is so hard just to add time to my phone. It will be a relief to throw it in the trash when my vacation is finished and go home to Verizon!

              Hi,
              I am Pavan Betageri Form Nagpur, I took post paid connection from Vodafone, after that i am facing problems with outgoing calls to Mumbai Reliance Numbers.And Unfortunately my Boss's Number is reliance.I have registered complaint twice but still I have not got the solution.Every time customer care executive gives me one deadline date of problem resolution but they won't give any kind of Feedback.If this is Vodafone Customer...

              This is to inform that even after sending so many reminders my one connection was acrtivated after three months, and one connection is still pending from last five months.

              Wrote an email to higher ups, they dont even pick calls, diocuments have been collected from me but noaction later on, verification was doe on eralier same as for this other connection.

              It is very difficult for me to communicate with my mother who is a dependent on me.

              Please contact ajay of vodaphone at [protected] as nobody is concerned, i have all the records with me.

              Hi Prashant,

              My cell no. is [protected]. Currently I am having prepaid connection.

              I had applied for postpaid connection under the Vodafone scheme for Atos Employees Rs 199/- rental plan on Friday May 16, 2008 through Rajesh Bhandari (Cell – [protected]). I had given Rajesh my driving license photocopy and Atos Identity card photocopy. He told me that he will give the SIM card to me by Monday May 19, 2008.

              Rajesh handed over a SIM card (SIM card had no. [protected] printed on it) to me on Tuesday May 20, 2008 morning and he told me that my prepaid connection will get deactivated by Tuesday May 20, 2008 evening and postpaid connection will get activated. However my postpaid connection is not activated till date. I am still using my prepaid connection.

              I tried contacting Rajesh Bhandari various times but everytime I contact him he gives me a reply saying that he will call back in 15 minutes and he never calls back. I also contacted the Vodafone customer care on [protected] but they say that they have not received any application regarding my postpaid connection. I am extremely dissatisfied by the service given by Rajesh Bhandari. I would like my postpaid connection to be activated immediately. Please look into this and kindly do the needful.

                Even I have a problem with deactivating my newsalert. Last month when I asked them to deactivate, they never deactivated and again my money was deducted from my prepaid account. This month again I have a problem in connecting to customer care executive.

                    Global Direct people visited my home and told me that both of my no's, [protected] and [protected] would changed to GTK 299 plan (Re 1 STD and 0.6 local) within 3 days. They also took money for that. When I checked after a month, it was not changed at all and I ended up paying extra money. When I called vodafone customer care, they changed it on 9th May 2008. I lost a lot of money because of that.

                    On April 21 a representative of Global Direct (Smita Dalvi) came to my house and lured me into buying another sim card.

                    She promised to activate 399 plan on my existing number if i buy an additional sim card. This plan had 800 mins of talktime free. After confirming everything i bought the additional card for Rs 300. This meant that the 399 scheme was also activated on my existing number which gave me 800 mins free as talktime. Assuming this, I spoke quite a lot thinking that i had the cushion of 800 mins.

                    But when i received the bill for my existing number, i was shocked to see that the plan was the same. Noone had changed the plan. When I contacted vodafone, they had no idea about any plan change !. Their systems just had the old plan activated. This went on for another month too and I had to then manually change the scheme ! in this process i lost 2000 bucks !!

                    I am following up with these but no one has the balls to reply back to my calls. They dont even pick up my calls.

                    GLOBAL DIRECT IS A FRAUD...this should be stopped. Spread the word so that no one should entertain Global Direct representatives...

                    I completly agree with you, couple of weeks back a chapie named Anil Hilidani from global direct came to my office and offered me the same scheme and forced me to buy a new postpaid connection for 300 bucks which has come to me but the plan on my existing number is still not activated. When I am calling them, everytime they give me the same reply "give me 10mins I would get back to you". and when I call them back, they don't answer.. what on the hell is going on..

                    Also a few days back I have noticed that the copy of documents that they have give me for my reference includes information only on the new sim card and no terrif plan upgrade on my existing number.

                    I can now clearly see that I am a fool. Would request everyone who reads this forum, Please help me with the office address of Global Direct so that I can go there and beat the out of them.

                    hey i totally n fully agree with you guys... these people at GLOBAL DIRECT should get their kicked, and arrested for cheating customers... they own representatives dont know what plan they are selling to thier customers, also their representatives dont know how 2 speak to the customers..and are also liars like MS Shubhangi Sandre... wen u call they either disconnect the call, or answer the call and keep u on hold... the manager also MR. NAVEEN KHANNA is not fit to be called a manager... wen i was callilng instead of answering the call the call... he too like the rest of his stafff disconnected my call... sum legal action needs to be taken against these people... plz dont entertain such characters ...

                    Some days back, few representatives from Global Direct came to my place and sold me a card, it was actually like he forced me to buy it. One of the representatives name was KAMLAKANTH and his phone no. [protected]. I was told that they had a scheme in which if I pay Rs.700 as deposite i would get a prepaid vodafone connection with 14500 seconds free and 350 SMS free and plus I would get one more card free of cost and get 12000 seconds free on it plus i would get two assured gifts in 18 to 20 days of purchase. Gifts include laptop, camera, watch etc. I recieved the cards in a few days through courier, but they were postpaid cards with no visible offer on them. After that I have called this representative KAMLAKANTH several times but he didnt answer. When i recieved the bill for the cards i called the rep from a different number he recieved the call but as soon as I told him my name he hung up and switched off his cell phone. when I tried calling the other numbers on the bill even they were off. I cant believe that a reputed company like vodafone works with frauds like these. Global Direct is a fraud company and and vodafone should not let them market their brand. Thanks to Global Direct I have stopped using the vodafone cards and dont plan on doin so in the future aswell. I have also told my friends and relatives to beware of these frauds.

                      I have been offered a CUG service from Vodafone and that the calls within the CUG will be free but I am being charged for them and on contacting them, they have advised that they will investigate and come back, however, none have reverted back to me.

                        My phone from vodaphone with prepaid sim card do not work outside india and this is the case happened 2 times in past although beofore leaving India I had specifically checked with helpdesk and it is confirmed to me that It will work

                        I am in Netherlands and approached a shop of vodaphone in Leiden centraal market street.This shop told that Indian phone do not work and they do not support I need to contact Vodaphone India

                        Similar case is there with my relatives phone who is in Japan today and it doesnt work. phone no [protected]

                        Please note the complaint that you sell sim card and promise that phone works outside with roaming. But in reality niether prepaid nor service phone work outside

                        Vodafone — phone did not work

                        I was not given correct information when I bought my vodafone in Barcelona. I am disputing the charges with the credit card company as well. I would like to state my compliant with a live person and be reinbursed the money that I spent for the phone. Please acknowledge my complaint in a timely fashion.

                          out of sheer frustration I writing this email.

                          I have gone to one Vadafone Mini store in West Marredpally - Secunderabad ( Joy Communication), on 20.09.2008 for new prepaid connection in the moring hour between 10.30 AM to 11.00 AM.

                          While asking the guys attending to customer, is not aware of any thing about the new connection & with little experience, I told them the formal procedure.

                          I have surrendered the following documents

                          1. PAN card copy for photo identity
                          2. Copy of telephone bill as residence proof
                          3. one Photo

                          Opt for one year activation plan of Rs.197/ & Rs.100/ for SIM card. & Rs.250/ for recharge. A total of Rs.547/ paid to them.

                          I have been assured that by evening this connection will be activated & the number allotted to me [protected]

                          Whereas till 24th Sept 08 (after 4 days) the recharge was not done. Again I had to go there & ask for the same. At the same time I have aksed whether the documents details have been uploaded into your system & they have confirmed that by this time it should have been done.

                          Subsequently upon getting the SMS, I have again enquired at the counter & the reply made to me was pl ignore that as they have already sent the required documents.

                          2/3 days back the line got disconnected & while approaching at teh counters to-day, one guy called Ramu was not in a position to inform anything. He was insisting for another set of documents.

                          As could not trust the guy's answer, my-self & Ramu started searching the forms, fortunately it was lying in the dust bin.

                          I have taken out the application form & documents as I can not trust any body & those guys out there does not even know whom contact.

                          In this scenario, my only request now advise the Mini Store to refund my money.

                          One more clarification, I beleive personallly Vada fone does not have any internal control as inplace of sending teh SMS, there msut be some communication between the controlling office & mini store about whether the customer has submitted the required documents or not. Due to this lapse I have gone through a tough time & tortured my-self for committing the mistake of going to Vadafone.

                          To repeat as I would not be able to torture my-self further, my only request now advise the Mini Store to refund my money.

                                Vodafone — Out going calls bard Even after submission of the documents

                                Dear Sir,

                                I have purchased new Vodafone connection with no of [protected] from Pune on 17th July and immd after i was on tour my documents have been submitted after 4 days to the to the dealer where i have purchased the same but today is 29th July as on till date the same has not been activated.

                                  i recently change my hutch prepaid to postpaid, for some days it works and the procedure of verification is also done by vodafone executive, but after few days of verification they stopped all service of my mobile. i made a contact to customer care and to vodafone shop also i mnot getting the proper response from them, i had given all my residence proof twice but still i m suffering. please do the needfull.

                                    I had given a security deposit oif Rs 6500/- to vodafone online when i was planning to travel to singapore.

                                    The services were activated and when i came back it was told to me that I should be visiting nearest Vodafone store to get the deposit back.

                                    Today, Monday, May 5th when I visted the store in Dwarka Sector 12 market, to my shock I was informed that the amount will be adjusted against my bills...

                                    My bills are paid directly by bill desk and if the security was to be adjusted then I should have been told in advance . While I was in Singapore my services of the phone were barred twice...i want to understand why the security was not adjusted at that particular time.

                                    The store supervisor Md Umar and his body language was totally aginst the customer care disciplines and I was really shocked that such pople have been hired by organization for customer care...

                                    I would like that the security deposit be refunded to me at the earliest and strcit action should be initiated against Mr Md Umar in dwarka branch or he should be removed from customer facing responsibility

                                      I am Abhishek Shastri, I m a Vodafone Prepaid Customer in Lucknow U.P.East. I have a problem that whenever i recharge my number with a topup, the messege is displayed that Recharging is not allowed. I talked to customer care they told me your sim is damaged and you have to convert it on post paid or change the number because it is recharged 20 times a day with a wrong code. Regarding this i am complaining about Vodafone Customer that on same day there server was down and nobody in lucknow was able to recharge there Vodafone pre-paid. So obviously i tried it more than 20 times. Now they are not realising there mistake and they are not taking any action regarding this issue. I don't want to change my number because it is official and very important for me. I am using there service from past two years. Is this the way to help customer by using the advertisment of a Pug. I am very frustated with there behaviour and do they have any rights to terminate this number without any reason. I have two Refrence Number[protected] and[protected].
