I am writing to you with regard to the Vodafone connection [protected] which I hold with you all.
I have been charged Rs. 25 for international sms which claims to be sent from my number.
I called in your vodafone customer care who start the conversation with "I am happy to assist you" but land up not assisting us customers in one single way.
I want to make it very clear that I had not sent a single international sms from my phone and how in the world can you charge me for something which I have not done, this is really disgusting. One cannot believe a mistake so grave from such a big corporate house.
I would also want to inform you that something similar had happend in the February 2008 month bill as well, wherin I was charged for 3 international sms's which I did not send.
This seems to be an issue with your server or system.
In Feb 2008 when i had called in, I was promised that I would be reimbursed R.s 15 for these 3 International sms. This reimbursment or refund never happend, anyway.
And now again this Rs.25 issue. Immensely saddening. I just happened to go through my bill this month & noticed these charges, I dont know how many times earlier you would have charged me in such a manner.
This is totallly not acceptable. An issue i should have brought forth long back.
I have been a loyal customer of yours for the last 4 years & now this is beyond my tolerance. I am not concerned about paying you Rs. 40 (25+15), my concern here is that why should you charge customers for something which they have not done. I am not sure if again next month you would bill me for such unruly charges.
I am marking a copy of my email to "The Hindu" Newspaper, "Deccan Chronicle", "The Times Of India" & "the Indian Express"

The progress of this email will also be posted on my blog murtuzahk.blogspot.com, so the whole world can know how you actually take further steps to resolve my greviances.

every m0nth on or before 31st i am paying my bill. but u r people today made ambrasing and emotionally insulted me BY SENDING RECOVERY AGENT TO MY HOME .
so i am very sorry to take u r services .this months i decided disconnect u r services .
please don't lose u r coustomers by this cheap tricks

I am the customer of Hutch(Vodafone)since last 3 years. My mobile number is [protected]. Vodafone news facility was activated in my mobile. But I have deactivated the service. But still I am receiving the news and the charges are deducted. Please deactivate the news service in my mobile. Otherwise I have to quit from Vodafone and also my family's other 3 member have to quit from vodafone.

out of sheer frustration I writing this email.
I have gone to one Vadafone Mini store in West Marredpally - Secunderabad ( Joy Communication), on 20.09.2008 for new prepaid connection in the moring hour between 10.30 AM to 11.00 AM.
While asking the guys attending to customer, is not aware of any thing about the new connection & with little experience, I told them the formal procedure.
I have surrendered the following documents
1. PAN card copy for photo identity
2. Copy of telephone bill as residence proof
3. one Photo
Opt for one year activation plan of Rs.197/ & Rs.100/ for SIM card. & Rs.250/ for recharge. A total of Rs.547/ paid to them.
I have been assured that by evening this connection will be activated & the number allotted to me [protected]
Whereas till 24th Sept 08 (after 4 days) the recharge was not done. Again I had to go there & ask for the same. At the same time I have aksed whether the documents details have been uploaded into your system & they have confirmed that by this time it should have been done.
Subsequently upon getting the SMS, I have again enquired at the counter & the reply made to me was pl ignore that as they have already sent the required documents.
2/3 days back the line got disconnected & while approaching at teh counters to-day, one guy called Ramu was not in a position to inform anything. He was insisting for another set of documents.
As could not trust the guy's answer, my-self & Ramu started searching the forms, fortunately it was lying in the dust bin.
I have taken out the application form & documents as I can not trust any body & those guys out there does not even know whom contact.
In this scenario, my only request now advise the Mini Store to refund my money.
One more clarification, I beleive personallly Vada fone does not have any internal control as inplace of sending teh SMS, there msut be some communication between the controlling office & mini store about whether the customer has submitted the required documents or not. Due to this lapse I have gone through a tough time & tortured my-self for committing the mistake of going to Vadafone.
To repeat as I would not be able to torture my-self further, my only request now advise the Mini Store to refund my money.
