I purchased my voltas 155 cy 1.2 ton 5 star split ac on 02/04/2017 from shop clues, saler's name anuj trading company, 180 pratap nagar, mayur vihar phase-1, delhi, phone-[protected].
Ac had a warranty period of one year from 02/04/2017/ to 01/04/2018, the compressor warranty is for 5 years till 01/04/2022.
When i make it installed, the mechanic says"sir your ac looks different because it is not giving instant cooling as other ac do". As i was not aware about the way of functioning of ac so i neglected hill, secondly i was getting my first split ac.
Till 20/6/2017 its cooling came to zero, i complained, voltas service men came and refills the gas but didn't try to find the reason of leakage of gas.
On 23/03/2018 this ac again face the problem of leakage as told by service mechanic against my complaint in this regard.
This time again only gas filling is done not the cause is found out.
On 01/06/2019 i again felt the same problem, this time ac is out of warranty. Your mechanic comes and checks ac properly without my request because a called him for gas filling only.
He concludes a minute leakage in condenser coil whose replacement cost is 6500 rupees.
But when i saw him working i saw something like oil leakage from compressor, about which he didn"t explained.
This condenser coil does not have any active or passive damage or any rusting, i personally have seen without touching this great machine, then how can be a leakage in condenser coil and if it is then it is a manufacturing defect which repeatedly and intentionally neglected to repair till the expiry of warranty period, because it could cost heavily for the company.
Its an indirect cheating. It is like continuously giving a paracetamol in fever without finding the cause or type of fever. How funny.
So, before making any legal proceedings in this case please answer my questions within 2 days.
1. Hiding/ not sorting out any problem in ac even after two visits repairing person isn't it a violation of warranty promise?
2. Who is responsible for this?
