I bought this solit last year. It was with free fitting. Company officlas during fitting damage front panel. This came in notice in start of this season when officials came to do service. It was change after repeated follow up in month. Too our surprise our ac in 17 temp also not doing cooling. When i requested as this issue came after first free service. Now company is not listening as my free warranty expired.

Its such poor quality that one season ac is not lasting. I even escalated in all emails and repeatedly after having 06 voltas ac at home. This is respect i got for company loyalty

Mr ratan tata was also shared mail but without single response from any company official.

I request consumers not to purchase voltas : go for other companies as its just on name of tata they are selling low quality chinese product.

    I was in need to buy a window ac of any good brand, then i see the voltas ad that they are providing 5 years warranty on their ac, which i found very attractive and immediately i have bought their ac through amazon.com and got my warranty registered.
    Even they have sent me a warranty registration mail stating my ac bearing the serial 4011237a18ec02419 will be covered under 5 years warranty period (File attached).
    Now when after 1.5 years when my ac is requires repairs, they have charged me rs 2360, stating that they will not entertain amazon purchase product.
    Need to know if they don't entertain amazon purchase product then why at the first place, why they have issued 5 years warranty to us. They should have informed us at the time of registering the warranty, so that i would be able to return this product to amazon. Now i do not trust this brand anymore and wants this ac back to you and my money to be refund.

      Hi,

      I buy window ac from voltas, dated -08/06/2017 from vijay sales indirapuram ghaziabad from the day starting i faced problems with ac, now on dated 04/04/2019 when i called for service, the person come he checked and said your ac condensor, gas, coil everything is not working when i asked reason they not have any answer. And its been a 4 months we live without ac because we have not a budjet to buy ac in just two years because of your poor quality. Sir i have one question if a middle class person buy a ac for worth rs 28000 /- how much he expect to work only just for two summer season. A brand like voltas there quality is this only, i hope you will see this matter

        My father bought a voltas ac and after 2 weeks of buying that product, faulty things started to happen, at first there was ice in the ac on its own, we complained about that, after that the cooling of ac stopped normal fan was only working. After that compressor stopped we again filed a report and the mechanic person said we have to change the compressor and this has been over a week. Kindly look into this matter on an urgent basis. And help us out.

        Purchased Voltas AC on 10 Jun 2019 from Bharat Electronics, 86 Janpath, Bapujinagar, Bhubaneswar against invoice no BEB/15483/19-20.Total price paid Rs40700. 00. After repeatedly telling on phone no service representative is coming for free service. If this is the condition what can we expect from such a big Co.

          I have purchased an slit idu-1.5 tonne ac on date 7th october 2018, from richa electronics kanpur nagar, with sr. No. 4552243a18fc05651, but after few days i got problem with service of product, after compalint in voltas care their is no satisfied service from company. I have still a problem with this product.

          And i want to replace it with a newone.

            Hi..brought new AC and done my first free service this saturday and day after my lamp light hot working..Remote system is not working properly...was not able to give my feedback after service.. Pls arrange engineer to visit and do the needful..

              I have purchased one voltas a/c, 1.5 ton window 185lzh (5 star) on 11th may, 2019 from v. K. Electronics, badarpur, new delhi-44, vide invoice no. Vk/19-20/1197.

              Since the purchase of above a/c, it has not been cooling properly, now for last 5 days, there no cooling at all. It is almost complete breakdown of a/c. I made a complaint yesterday, the service technician found that there is gas leakage in a/c.
              It is now only 3 months and there has been complete leakage of gas in such short period. It is a very poor quality issue and a manufacturing problem.

              I alongwith my whole family is suffering due to non-functioning of above a/c causing us to face a traumatic condition where the requirement of a/c was the must.

              In view of the above, kindly replace the above a/c or refund the value of it. Failing on your part to discharge your duty towards me to redress my above problem, i would be constrained to initiate legal recourse available to me as per law.

                Hello sir
                I have purchased voltas water dispenser on 23 august 2019 and dispense is not working from the very first day we have registered the complaint but there is no proper reaponse we are getting from voltas service area and my issue is not resolved yet.
                This is really very disappointed and bad experience from voltas company. Even their service person is not able to repair the parts. And nobody is giving proper response.
                I will never ever buy voltas product from now onwards. And even i tell my experience to everyone now not to buy voktas product. I want the replacement or else refund my amount.

                Sir i have recently done servicing of ac, but after repeated servicing within 4 months, the service centre has not yet solved my problem. They have charged 4000 ruppees from me yet my problem of my ac still remains.The ac seems to be not reaching the set temperature. The condensor stops much before it reaches the set temperature.

                    Sir/madam,

                    in continuation with the earlier mail and several complaints booking through ivrs via customer care, it is unfortunate to inform you that my issue is not resolved till date. Everytime i book a complaint, the very next date i get a sms consisting a message "your complaint is proposed to close : reason : resolved over phone". While calling to the customer care it prompts india's best ac company. Its unfortunate to india to have such a company who is pouposefully lingering on and making a customer fool. I received calls from area manager who convinced me that my problem will be fixed in 3 days. But that 3 days never came.

                    it is clearly seen that i have been harrased mentally.

                    it's my earnest request to resolve my issue at the earliest to avoid any legal consequences. If the problem can not be resolved then kindly give me in writing that the problem cannot be solved and bail out the old product.

                    Looking forward for a prompt action and reply from your end.

                      I purchased this product 3-4 months ago. Now in within 4 months product completely stop working. I asked voltas support but no one is helping, it's been 15 days when i logged complaints with voltas still no help. Worst service by voltas!!
                      Even their area service manager (Manoj chauhan) is fooling me and blocked my number. Please guys do not buy any voltas product. You can buy if you want to waste your time and money.

                        Actually i want to say that i have purchased a split airconditioner in the month of june 2018 from a voltas dealer who has a showroom in hall bazar amritsar. When i registered my product on the company online service system a company executive communicate me company service policy which is mention as below.
                        1. Company give me 02 no: free service within a year.
                        2. Company give me 5-year full product warranty and 10-year compressor warranty.
                        3. The company has a condition on warranty:
                        "that consumer avail the facility of warranty who got regular service through company service center"
                        Now the company gets one service in the year 2018 and the second service which is due in the summer season of 2019 and also free as company policy but the company neither provide me second free service nor continue my product warranty.
                        So help me for justice against the company's this forgery and protect my right. And provide me my second free service and regular warranty. Please

                            After attending 2 previous service calls, again there is cooling trouble, where the technician has visited the site and claims that the 'condensor' is worn out, also the 'gas' has been leaked out added to it, the service charge. As the product carries a warranty of 1 yr, this attracts a total repair cost of about rs. 7200/- for a machine bought 1.25 yrs back.

                            I raise my concern over 2 issues:

                            1. I doubt the quality of product voltas is making. I had a similar problem with air-conditioner, where it gave cooling problems after 1 yr.

                            2. I also doubt the spares quality and technician/ service center capability to resolve issues.

                            After repeatedly attending to service requests the service center is not able to rectify the product. The product has a trouble-free life of only 1 yr, after which we have to shelve out money to get it repaired.

                            Please take this complaint seriously, because there is serious concern about the voltas brand ruining its image and market share.

                              Its been almost 2 weeks since i registered the complaint about water dripping and noise from the voltas split inverter ac 1.5ton 5*. The first complaint i registered around 2 weeks before, but none of the technicians came by my place so that i have to call them again about 4-5 days later. They made a promise that this time our technician will come and resolve the problem. But again none of the technicians came. So i called them again today 05/09/19 and they said that in our database your complaint marked as resolved, but there is not a single visit by their technicians and yet they claim to have resolved the issue. This is unaccepted from such a reputed company that they keep making false promises to their costumers. It's a very humble request, kindly look into this matter as soon as possible.
                              I have attached a screenshot of their message asking about post-job completion feedback, but the job hasn't even taken place.

                                I have requested for service on 28.08.2019 as my ac is not cooling, but no one came to do service nor i received any call from the service center instead i have received a sms in which it was written that i have rescheduled the service
                                (Which i did not) and therefore i called the customer care on 31.08.2019 and they assure me technician will visit within 24 hr but none came. On 1st september i recieved a sms in which it was written i have requested for cancellation of service (Which i did not) so i called customer care again on 2.9.2019 and they again told me technician will visit but none came. On 3.9.2019 i received a sms in which it was writen that my request is cancelled. And i called again customer care on 3.9.2019 and explained the whole situation but i received no assurance and they even refused to acknowledge the problem on their part and suggested that i had not received the phone call of technician and i may have requested cancellation of service.

                                I have requested for service on 20.08.2019 vide request no [protected] today is 04.09.2019 in between i have contacted customer service 02 times for AC servicing and replacement of Remote control accordingly received SMS to my registered mobile that my problem was scheduled on 23.08.2019 but no one approached me again and again i have contacted customer service and finally Customer care team informed that Technician will attend my complaint on 30.08.2019 but till date no technician was attended against my complaint,
                                Today morning (i.e.) 04.09.2019 again i contacted VOLTAS customs care but no satisfactory response received .

                                Advise on the above for further course of action .

                                    In reference to above service request gas was filled in my ac twice within four months. First time it was filled on 3rd may 2019 and second time on 23.8.2019. The service centre reported that first time it was leaked as usual but second time it was leaked due to gas coil was choked. The service centre have also given one more reason of gas leakage is that the area is surrounded with open nullah or drains. It is observed & mentioned here that the gas was leaked first time after lapse of 3years and other appliances like refrigerator installed in the same premises but not facing such type of problems frequently hence this reason can not be justified. As the ac was under five year warranty the gas coils was replaced but the charges of 1950/ rupees gas filling with a discount of 300/- rs. Has been paid by me. This is necessary to mention here if the gas is leaked frequently then the customer have to bear the cost amounting 4500/- approx. Per season towards the gas filling charges which is very much on higher side. Since second time the gas was leaked due to failure of gas coils the charges of gas filling should be refunded to me as gas coils was within warranty period. I hope m/s voltas ltd. Will certainly take care of such type of things happened and compensate to the customers as they have not any fault in their part.in view of above please arrange to refund the cost of gas filling charges an amount of 1950/- rupees.

                                      Dear all,
                                      I have recently purchased a voltas split ac (1.5 tons) from viveks – tambaram on 2/7/2019. After plenty of follow-up with the team the same was installed after 3 workings days in the evening by some third party person on behalf of viveks.
                                      Initially the ac was working fine but after 15 days i have been started noticing the difference in the cooling but i thought this is due to outside temp effect.
                                      But on 12/8/2019 - night when i switched on the ac, i was shock to feel that hot air is coming out of the vent.

                                      On 13/8/19 - i have complained the same to viveks, they have send some ac mechanic to investigate and found that the gas was discharged completely.

                                      They informed same person who installed will come and refill the gas again, as it was his mistake on installation part, they didn’t identified the actual problem.

                                      On 16/8/19 - i have contacted the voltas customer care and complained about the same has there was no proper response from viveks care on gas refilling.

                                      The ac mechanic had visited on 19/8/19 after several follow-up and found out that the gas is leaking inside the outdoor unit and it was found to be a manufacturing defect.

                                      The defective video was send to the voltas area service manager and he has promised to replace the same within 7 working days due to the nature of the damage inside the outdoor unit.

                                      Till date the same is not rectified and no proper response received from them or from customer care.
                                      I am writing this mail in mental agony and frustration that voltas and his service center are finding difficult to resolve the customer issue, after more than couple of weeks.
                                      I would request your immediate intervention to resolve the issue at the earliest
                                      I would appreciate your early response and resolution to the issue.

                                        Two years ago we purchased volta's 1.5 ton window ac in tpddl in an exchange offer. At the time of selling the product, the company commited 3yr product warranty and free services for 3 yrs. Now suddenly they are saying no free services. Option is available only in the first year. If they have changed the policy, it should be applicable to products sold now and not to the products sold with certain commitment. Unless it was their trick to fool customers to increase sales

                                        Not expected from a company like volta's. Shame!
