I booked 2 bus tkts from pune to goa and i was the 1st person to book a tkt in that bus and was charged 2400 for 2 tkts, later on i checked on another portal and was surprised to see actual price for the operator was half of what i paid and checked with operator as well while yatra charged double the cost even when there were no booking made in that bus.

When asked for the same they are saying price was shown to you and you can cancel if required, cancellation is also charged at a very higher rate @30% while no cancelation charges details given on yatra site, other sites showing the cancellation at 20% for the same bus.
I have attached the screen shot from another website showing cancelation charges for same bus operator and same bus.

Please help.

Would like to inform you that as we have checked cost of the ticket was displayed to you at the time of confirmation. And, the charges decided by the bus operator only. cancellation charges prior to 24 hrs will be 30% per passenger as per operator cancellation policy and same has been mentioned on our website. The price was shown to you before confirmation of the booking, as per the date selected was the best rate available. Hence, for any cancellation charges would be applicable as per the policy. kindly check the charges and then cancel your ticket. Thanks Yatra Care

Cancellation charges by the operator is only 20%, I have attached herein screen shot from another website for the same operator showing cancelation cost as 20% only, how come this is 30% from yatra ??

Are you not able to understand what I am writing, Cancellation charges by the operator is only 20%, I have checked with them directly, checked on other platforms for the same operator, it's only yatra which is charging 30% for this operator. Paulo travelers in this case. I have checked mmt, go ibibo, red bus, on all these platform cancellation charges for Paulo travels is clearly mentioned as 20%. It's only yatra, not showing any information regarding cancellation charges and that's why you are charging 30% now.

In case of refund to bank account/credit card, yatra takes 24 Hrs to process your refund. Further the private sector bank may take 2 to 3 working days and public sector bank may take up to 7 working days for the refund to reflect in your account.

    Dear sir,

    I, mayank agrawal booked a ticket from patna to new delhi today (30.12.2017) spicejet pnr r6784s. After i made payment through credit card, i got a message for paying rs. 346/ more. Else, you mentioned that you will refund the payment made within 2-10 days.

    This is highly unethical. As i had no option and continued paying rs. 346/ more (As i had doubts whether you would return my money), i object to your this practice.

    I have been booking tickets through yatra. But this has created doubts in my mind about your intentions. You may please return the additional amount of rs. 346/ which you unethically charged.

      I am sitaraman vaitheeswaran. My reference no :[protected], i am your regular customer for past 10 years.

      Ibooked a trip in airasia through yatra for bangkok from trichy on 21 dec 2017 and return to trichy on 26 dec 2017.

      I paid 20 kg baggage for two persons each for both way. When we return from bangkok - don mueang the airport people in airasia told, " mistake has been undergone in your agent side - that is yatra.

      You have booked baggage for only in departure from trichy and not for arrival from bangkok - don mueang to trichy.

      I need immedeate refund of the extra money i paid.

        One of the worst experiences while ordering from yatra. Please find the attached photos and video for your evidence.

        * The room was not at all up to the mark, the room and the washrooms were very dirty and stinking very badly.
        * The bed was dirty without pillow covers and even though we were charged extra for the room heater per day(total charge amount 1200/-), the same was not at all functional.
        * There was a television in the room which wasn't working.
        * There was only one light above the television which was more of a bed-light and wasn't even illuminating the entire room.
        * The water heater in the bathroom wasn't working and at night there was no water supply also.
        * The switch boards in the room were very dirty and the wires were coming out of them risking the chance of electrification. There were no ports for charging the mobiles.

        When raised the complaint with the hotel management, they were not even bothered to listen to us, and suggested to raise a complaint with Yatra or Consumer Court. I tried to contact Yatra customer care, however not able to connect due to busy network, I have attached my yesterday call log as well.

        Before posting this pictures and videos in social media just want to check if you can take any action against hotel management and let me know what action you had taken.

        Would appreciate if all the amount spent by me should be refunded for such a horrific experience and this hotel/homestay should be taken off the Yatra list of preferred hotels.

        Post complaint I have received a email saying that

        We have noted your feedback against the property and will take necessary action if required.

        However, would regret to inform that the property has denied any refund on this booking.

        We have complained more than 5 times. They advise us to raise compliant on yatra. It seems hotel management has very good contacts work yatra.

              This is in reference to a booking at hotel poonja international made via yatra.
              My flight to mangalore had got delayed and my luggage was
              Misplaced by the airline. Adding to all the woes was the behaviour by
              The hotel staff.
              I reached the hotel by 12:05 am and enquired about my booking the
              Hotel boy said we are late and we will not be given any rooms.
              The hotel check in time and check out time on the yatra app said
              Flexible, i had also put in a comment during my booking that i’ll check in
              By 11:00 pm.
              I asked the hotel staff to check my hotel booking details and also told him that
              I’ve already paid for the booking, he said he had no entries for my booking and
              I should check with yatra. I then called the yatra customer care but was not able
              To reach them since it was already past 12:30 am.
              We argued with the hotel staff till 2:00 am and somehow managed to get a room
              Allotted to staff allotted to us. This room was as filthy as it could be.
              We were given another room at 7:00 am, we checked out by 11:00 am.

              This was by far the worst hotel experience that i’ve had till date.
              I have complained to yatra via phone and mail too but haven’t heard back from them.

              And I hope yatra takes appropriate action against the hotel.
              Hotel not taking any responsibility initially baffled us, its only when we shared pictures of so called standard room they relented.

                I booked hotel from yatra. I received confirmation email from yatra as well as yatra person called me and confirmed my booking too. But when i reached the hotel, hotel person denied me check in. He said he already informed yatra about non confirmation. I reached hotel with family in night and other hotel options were also not available for me. Customer care of yatra has also denied to support or arrange any other alternative for me.                   Hello,

                  I am writing this complaint with much anger towards the services got offered through yatra. This was my first and probably the last experience through yatra i believe. I had done multiple bookings like this, with other competitors of yours and never faces a single issue for years. There services were much much better when compared to yours. I am planning to post my reviews on all the available portal about this bad experience so that no other should face such this issue. At-least, by this you would start improving your services.

                  I had booked tickets for my uncle and other colleagues of him who were traveling from bangalore to hyderabad for a trip. All of them were senior citizens and who could not withstand this climate and also had women, who could not be left without a room around 11pm night.

                  Starting with the story or may be the tragedy which we had to face with your service.

                  * i booked 2 hotel room for 2 days.
                  * made the full payment and got a booking confirmation about the same.
                  * the rooms were booked for all elderly people (Senior citizens).
                  * but the hotel managements denied the rooms saying rooms are full and they said, they did not get any confirmation from yatra.
                  * the way the treated the people too was bad and we could not accept that. At-least, they should have a courtesy to treat the elderly people with due respect and with patience.
                  * the time is around 11pm night, can you imagine how these elderly people would suffer without a room to stay in this climate. Even elderly women's, are traveling with them. So, who will take responsibility for there safety. So, that doesn't matter for yatra, to take due care of there customers.
                  * called your support and things were not that clear and they were keen in providing the refund, but do not talk about the services, which was promised by yatra and then cheated us. You might say, the hotel did mistake. Please be informed that, we don't know who the hotel people are. We had trust only on you, when we travel from a different place.
                  * i want you to take serious action on this matter at the most priority, or i would have to take this up further from my end.

                    I had made a booking for a resort from the yatra website. The booking was for sanskruti resort of gokarna (Ref[protected]. The confirmed date was 11-12 dec 2017. The booking unfortunately was cancelled by the hotel, and i responded immediately my mailing the cancellation mail to yatra. They said that they would take action on it. I called up the resort and was suggested by the resort management to proceed with the trip and i would be given the room of my choice, and that the yatra refund could be taken care of as they would affirm the cancellation for the yatra booking. I kept following up with yatra with the same response, 'we will look into it'. Then finally, in one such follow up call, a guy (Travel expert) from yatra named navneet jaghmola said that he would look into it and asked me to mail the cancellation receipt to his personal email, which i did. Needless to say that i got no news from them after that, despite being assured that i would be alerted of the status asap (Sometimes they'd have the gall of assuring me of action within 30 minutes).
                    Now several calls and 11 days later when i called up yatra again, they tell me that the hotel refused any cancellation and any refund would be impossible. Further, when i requested to be put on call with her manager, she (The travel expert) refused on my face. Despite of my asking several times, she kept refusing, even when i told her that i would wait for as long as required for her manger to become available. Finally she said that the manager would contact me soon. I am quite certain that it won't happen or will not be authentic, after going through this entire ordeal.
                    It is not the loss of the booking price (4500 rupees) which bothers me the most, it is the on-the-face lies and deception and daylight theft (With proof of theft) of this company that has left me shocked. All i know is that, i paid money for a booking that was not cancelled by me. So whether it is by yatra (Which i am certain it is) or the sanskruti resort, i got my money stolen despite there being no fault of mine.
                    Please refrain from using this service for making any kind of booking, and also avoid the resort if ever you plan on visiting the lovely village.

                      As per the booking tickets sent by yatra team, we went to dubai last week. But as we reached hotel, the hotel management said they didn't have any booking by our name. We with our 18 months baby sit in reception for 2 hours. They took money for abu dhabi city tour but cancelled on the moment. They had no coordination with each other. I mailed them 5 days before but no action is taken by anyone till now. It's second time yatra made us disappointed. Never ever book any tour with this company.

                        I have made a hotel booking through yatra.com on 23rd and 24th of december (Booking reference no:[protected]. The booking was confirmed in (Hotel name :trippers stay, kushal nagar). Today i got a call from yatra, and the executive told me to the hotel is unavailable now and i have to cancel the ticket. I dont know how they can do such act for ticket booked more than one week back. I have the ticket copy with booking confirmation and hotel confirmation. I called to yatra again then they said they will resolve the issue in another two hours time. Called after few hours now they are saying that they need one more day to find out the issue. It is very horrible since i already made travel plan and the last minute they are saying the hotel is not available.

                          I booked a hotel from yatra on 7th december.. And received the confirmation the same day..
                          Post this confirmation mail i finalized my travelling and booked my tickets from delhi to shilma.. Please note the same are non refundable.

                          On 9th i called up yatra since i wanna upgrade my hotel. I was told that the booking cannot be chnaged now since my existing hotel woodstock resort will provide no refund.. So i decided to manage in the same hotel.
                          Today i. E.16 th december.. I called the number mentioned in the confirmation mail assuming its was the hotels number.. Just to understand the amenities since the temperature in shimla is low.
                          The call was handled with some "akhil gusethouser new" and they told me that the booking has not been confirmed by there end. Since i had the confirmation mail i enquired how the same is not confirmed.. They simply told me that it has noy been confirmed from them.. Wat an example of professionalism.. I asked the female to plse look into the matter, connect yatra and your team and plse call me back.. But i didnt received any call.
                          After an hour or so i decided to reach out yatra and the person who received the call very rudely told me that he cannot do any thing about it immediately and will need 24 hrs to get back to me on this..
                          Also he said he cannot confirm if he can provide me with a hotel.. I asked him to connect me to his supervisor he explicitly said that he cannot do so and the manager will say the same thing..
                          I still told him that i need to talk to the supervisor. He said there is only one supervisor and he is in a meeting right now..
                          This rude behavior is not professional at all and is not acceptable..
                          Where the hotel was not confirmed yatra should have reached me out to inform me that.. I never received a call.. The entire payment was made still no call back. Even when i reached out yatra on 9th no one said anything about my booking not being confirmed.
                          Are u guys even concerned about your customer... Just in case i wouldn't have called that number today and reached shimla directly assuimg that yatra has already made arrangements fr my stay and i dont need to bother.. It would have ben so embarrassing.
                          I want every one to be aware of how you guys are frauding innocent customers with big ads and commitments.
                          This is simply unacceptable with the type of branding you guys do.. I dont think i will ever like to make any further booking using this app

                          Plse take a look into this matter.. My trip is all planned and i cannot cancel it now.
                          I dont want a refund... I want a hotel confirmed booking. Any early response will be appreciated and i would not have to undertake drastic measures or move to consumer court.

                            Following are the issues detail:
                            1. On 10th dec my flight was from kolkata to chennai and it was delayed by 1 hrs. Flight was scheduled to arrive at 7:10 pm but it was arrived at 8:00 pm. My next flight was scheduled to departure at 8:35 pm.in very short time period i was not able to get boarding pass because of baggage belt.
                            2. I have talked to your representative ms dimple but she is not able to help me at this situation. According to her i have to book the air ticket again but there was no flight available. I asked to book at least a near hotel for night staff because i am traveling with my wife but she deny.
                            3. Lastly​ i booked a air ticket from chennai to kochi dated on 11 dec, departure at 9:00am. I have paid around 25, 000 rupees, which is extra amount i have paid.
                            4. Whole night i was stay in airport with no facility of proper meal.
                            Initial stage or starting day i got a worst experience from yatra and spice jet.

                              My honeymoon trip (Yh3651274) completely ruined as honeymoon cake missed on first day and cellular jail visit missed at last moment and too much follow up for everything and when called assistance then they said sorry and will refund the same for the missed itinerary and it will take 7-10 days but even after 12 days, when talked with yatra agent (Mr asli), they asked we have no information and it will take time.
                              This is the worst planned trip i have ever had in my life

                                My booking was cancelled after 3 days of booking. I was given an alternative in a cheap rated hotel. On replying to the mail that i cannot accept their alternative arrangement, i did not receive any response from the team through mail. They have called a couple of times to make me accept the alternative arrangement they have made. Even after sending multiple emails i did not receive a response nor any update on the booking status through mail. They are very clever as to not to commit to something through mail.

                                  This is just to inform you that we have booked the package recently against booking ref. Ya:6932376' bangkok holidays//yh3700952.
                                  I just want to share my experience about your services. We have reached 4'o and lady came and told us to wait 4 hrs onto the airport. Why?
                                  After waiting 4 hrs, we've reached at hotel 9'o clock in the morning then the receptionist asked to wait till 14:00 because the check in time was 14:00. We have paid 500 baht addition for prior check in.
                                  After that, the co-ordination next the sight seeing was overall good. Transfer from one city to other was also good but on the last day, on-one has called us or informed us for department, we missed our flight just because of your team. Now, we're trying to get the support from yatra team to help to get out from that kind of situation. I was trying to call them contentiously but after waiting one and half hour, i've got the reply that we can't do anything. You have to book a new flight by your own.
                                  Can't believe.
                                  We've paid what they asked so why?
                                  Now, we want refund for our new booked flight.

                                    Yatra.com is a fraud and cheater company so, please friends do not book any flight by yatra. They are very big fraud. Ixigo is better than yatra. Ixigo return your 500 money into your bank account. I will never book any ticket from yatra.com. They are #er cheater and fraud also.

                                      I've made a payment of rs. 6750/- which is just a part payment for a package that i've booked with yatra.

                                      I've asked for few sight seeing additions to my package, for which i just haven't received any response ever.

                                      My trip adviser is mohan mahato, who doesn't replies to my queries over mail but pretends that his mail box has latency issues.

                                      I've been escalating my eagerness to get my queries clarified to mohan's team lead, manoj and he seems to be ignoring me as well. I've sent mails to mohan and his team lead close to 16 mails.

                                      I probably may have called mohan's extension more than 100 times for the last few days, but could never get him to talk. I always got redirected to his colleagues and they arrange a call back from mohan but he has never called back.

                                      Every customer care representative tells me my package's hotels and driver is confirmed but no body answers to my queries that i've posted to my trip adviser as he, himself is ignoring me.

                                      I've planned this trip with my family and now i've totally lost trust on these guys to make rest of the payment, and i may be putting myself at rick trusting these guys.

                                      Yatra team has responded to my mail, made me complete by full payment of 27, 000/- but now says that my trip adviser has resigned Yatra and left the organization.

                                      Now, I'm in a state of shock, frustrated and mentally drained by the way these guys provide support and their managers Nitin / Manoj still don't respond prompt.

                                      I've made to and fro travel booking on my own trusting these guys(Yatra) and I demand my full package money and cancellation charges for my to and fro travel booking that I've made, if in case Yatra is unable to deliver my booking details, hotel vouchers, driver details etc.. on time and my trip is a failure.

                                      NO MY QUERY IS STILL NOT RESOLVED.

In case of refund to bank account/credit card, yatra takes 24 Hrs to process your refund. Further the private sector bank may take 2 to 3 working days and public sector bank may take up to 7 working days for the refund to reflect in your account.
