no speed even I choose 40 mbps plans also.

Hi i am user of act beam internet service provider,

I am using beam internet in a. S. Rao nagar, ecil, hyderabad.
My plan is 40 mbps / a - max 650.

Whenever i want to download (5.4 gb) something like xcode 9 version from apple.com in safari browser in mac mini system.

The download takes 30 to 40 minutes and it shows the downloading speed is 2 mbps per second.

I am not satisfying...

On aug 31st 2017, i asked them to cancel the connection and refund my money. I asked them to cancel the connection is because they were not able to do the installation to my home. By the time of taking money from me, the sales guy (Shikhil gowda) told me that, if in case they are not able to do the installation they will refund me the entire amount.

We initiated the request for new broadband through act portal. We received the call from act sales executive for document collection and further processing. Yes, sales executive contacted us and collected the documents and made the payment based on the plan selected.

no one is addressing the issue since 2 months

I was asked to pay nominal amount for the penalty fees and aug bills. I did that, but now the bill for aug and sep is generated. It happened in july as well. This is loot. None of your customer care folks pick the call any time.

I wanted to switch the plan from rapid to swift, and finally thought of disconnecting the connection. But, despite telling your service guy many times it's still not done.

connection not given even after 1 week of payment

Each person puts the blame on other and this naveen is not picking my calls at all. I have called him 30 times and he never picks the call. The customer care is always busy. Every time they they have the same excuse "fiber cut in your area".
There service was good when they lauch first time in bangalore but its the worst service provider now....

act internet scam through mobile app

Act is currently running a scam through mobile app and unfortunately, i fell prey to it. Mobile app showed a discounted price for the 12-month plan when booking through mobile app and once the amount is paid in full, they increase the total amount and send a new invoice. Act is luring people into believing that the total cost is less and then they charge more. Moreover, they won’t refund my total plan cost even if i disconnect the connection....
