I have act connection in hyderabad. From last 6 months, network connection is very pathetic. It discontinues every now and then. I reached out to act customer care multiple times. Every time they will say they will resolve the issue in two days. It works for a day or two and again it stops working. I told them, the router they have provided has some problem. Despite my repeated requests they are not following up with me.

asked for disconnection at end of September but didn't disconnect and came next month for asking money. And they for reconnection we need to pay that amount also?
Even the wifi is not continuous, they stop services everyday for few hours as maintainace service all [censored] service

    I paid my 6 month advance bill for account#[protected] in aug month for which i was unaware that box was removed from location. Then technician visited my house on my request to verify the connection he informed me to ask for refund because connection cannot be provided. I placed request in aug month 2017 for refund and october is going to be over. Till now m getting one answer from customer support that within 24 hrs i will get my money. Its been 3 months already. Above that i placed request to correct my email ID that also they hvnt done . From past 7days i am calling them regularly they are making me fool and giving me fake promises. I raised request many times but no effect .Someone please help me out.

      I have taken a connection from act fibrenet on september 17th, 2017. On october 3rd it got disconnected and i raised a complaint. It was not resolved yet. This is the third time i am raising a complaint in just 20 days of getting connection. I have calles them dialy. They will close my complaint stating it was resolved but it issue still pertains. Without resolving the complaint they will close the complaint.
      My connection number:[protected]. It i asked them to cancell my connection and give the amount refund. Even that they are not doing.
      Kindly do not trust such kind of service providers.

      I have been repeatedly calling them. But that is of no use. I don't understand why they are closing the complaints without resolving them. As we have paid 6 months are they thinking that we anyhow have to stay with them. If it really takes 23+ days to resolve a complaint in a smart city like Bangalore them what is the position in other cities. By seeing all this a i observed that there are no technicians with ACT Fibrenet to resolve complaints.

        I have logged nearly five tickets this month, latest one being ticket number: [protected] and it was closed on 24/10.

        We lost the internet again last night, as my account has been wrongly disabled.
        Last four times it was enabled/unlocked/activated only after i sent nodal officer an email.

        Also while the internet was working, you tube traffic from my account is blocked on the act infrastructure

          Dear all

          I gave a shifting request from agb layout mahalakshmipuram to malleswaram 18th cross on 11th of october and submitted the document on 13th of october as they told they will shifting within 4 to 5 working days, till now the shifting has not been done,

          More than anything they have closed the shifting request stating shifting has been done, but they have not done even the wiring or anything, i dropped into into act office in rajajinagar and met mr manjunath he told me that will updated me the status of the shifting with in 7:30 pm but dnt do it, i have called 20 to 30 times to the customer support every one say the same thing that will inform the concern team till today the shifting has not been done its very, this is very unprofessional way they handle the customer,

          This is the poooorest level of customer service shown by act broadband

          Guys please do not wait for reconnction/relocation issues, always cancell the connection immediately for act and take the new connection from another vendor, now we have 100 of vendor who does the support good then act

          Sick of this team now

          Ct managers should respond now to take this kind of working team in their organization. If not better shutdown your services.

            Hi,

            A junction box has been installed in my apartment for quite some time by one of the tenants. I am one of the owner's of the apartment and there is no proper consent taken for installing the junction box. And this tenant is no more living the apartment.
            The main troubling issue is that, recently a bunch of wires are taken out of the box, across ground floor ceiling and are distributed to different buildings.

            We donot want our apartment to be a common point of access for several reasons especially without proper consent. Please help in removing it asap.

              Act person mr. Khaja hakeemuddin has come to our office on 03/08/2017 & explained about the corporate net connection. We meenaxy pharma private limited accepted & release the po with current dated cheque nos. 771643 & 771642 for rs. 25, 953/- towards half-yearly plan but so far we have not recd. The connection.

              At the same time we recd. A msg from your customer care that there is no possibility of given connection to our office at suraram, hyd.

              Amount is debited form account on the same day and now there are not returning our amount or nether answering our call.

                I am from bangalore i am using act last 6 months, i got 3 times issue with act, first time it took 10 days to resolve the issue, whenever we call the act you will get connected after 20 minutes (Bad customer service).

                Then they will tell like it will resolve with in 24 hours but it will long last for 6 to 10 days to solve the issue.
                One another thing is every 2 months there will be a cable cut happening in our area. Again it will take 3 to 5 days.
                Now i am not getting internet last 3 days when, i given complaint they are telling that some cable cut happened in your area it will take 1 week to resolve the problem.

                  I have taken a account from act fibernet and paid 6 months amount in one go. Salesperson promised to provide spilt bill for each month but now they are saying no to split the bill because of gst. I am asking for a bill which i paid.. Why they are not ready to give me the split bill. I am not asking them to add extra money, asking for my money bill only....

                  I got act fibernet connection last month by paying rs. 8500 as advance amount for 6 months. After only 3 weeks, the internet stopped working. It has been 12 days without internet and the company has showed absolutely zero interest in resolving the issue. I raised a ticket no. [protected] and have waited for 12 days since. I have contacted their nodal officer mr. Naveen 6 times in the last 2 weeks for resolution of the issue. Mr. Naveen is as deceitful as the company itself is. He has showed absolutely no interest in getting the issue resolved. I have also escalated this to their appellate authority's email but they seem to take no interest in resolving the issue.

                  If you apply for a new connection, they will provide installation within 24 hrs but if you are an existing customer who has paid in advance then they wont bother to provide service. I had read reviews that act fibernet has cheated many people but now i am suffering personally. Even now they haven't restored my internet connection. They have charged me for 7 months and provided service for only 3 weeks. I am left with no choice other than approaching consumer forum.

                    I am a user of ACT from today oct 15 morning and the FUP usage shows I have used 15 gb but in my mobile the wifi usage since sept 15 was 2.6gb and in my computer the usage was 1.1gb and I have also checked my in my router settings and found that there aren't any snooper only 2 devices are connected so, if we add all the usage it may be around 3 to 3.5 gb because the wifi usage in my mobile includes all other wifis I have used in the previous month. So if we I genuine the usage would be in between 2.5 to 3 gb today but the usage details in the act login page shows that I have used over 15gb, if this continues I would reach my fup limit in 5 to 10 days .

                    I hope you would solve my problem as soon as possible because I am not ready to pay for the data which I have not used.

                    I have call the act customer care more than 5 times and when I requested for a refund for the rest of 5 months they have send an executive to my home he to didn't know what the problem was but after that the problem has been stopped and I think they are doing this willingly because some customers wouldn't mind checking the f u p usage and would later on pay for the flexybytes so I would suggest the act customers to be with presence of mind and check their daily f u p usage

                      I have complained for changing my act internet service providers box location on top of my house go a different part because it has been continuously getting wet and causing short circuits in our house. Howver the service provider act fibernet has not done this from the past 2 months i even did not pay my bill last month just to make them call me however when they did call and i informed them of the issue there was no response again. Tge short circuit is endangering my family's life

                        I have been billed from 5th sep on rapid blaze plan and paid 1770 for the installation and plan. I stopped using internet from 5th oct. I was never aware of the advance rental concept in act nor the representative from act mentioned that to me. Now i have been billed for 5th oct again without my knowledge for the plan i never opted for. I never got a proper response from the customer care though i called twice the help desk and took 20 minutes everytime to connect and talk to the representative. I lost my time and money only because of the firm's irresponsible professionals.

                        Why does act have a web page, android app? When you can't give the right details about your tariffs and generate the right billing. My plan was downgraded without my concern. There are multiple discrepancies in the billing and the tariff displayed on the screen.

                        As i was unaware and never used the act internet for 5th oct to 13th oct, i should never be charged for the same. I get an sms right now while i am writing this to pay rs. 971 which is the old plan's billing before the downgrade.

                          Hi, my previous compliant on this forum was closed with a response to provide my contact number..

                          In my earlier complaint act service is pathetic is what i said.. After i speaking to a manager name naveen 4 times on friday 13th oct in bangalore office i was advised that it will be resolved and the field team is working towards it.. It's been 5 days since i complained and this company is not able to fix issue.. What a sub standard company is this who does not value its customer.. I have repetitively said that we work from home and it's such an embarrassment and financial impacts we have for not meeting our deliverables..

                          Thanks to act for making me and my wife going through this..

                            I have subscribed for the act connection, this month 5th (Oct) my connection got disconnected, when i called the customer care they told "act cable was damaged", and they also assured to resolve the complaint at the earliest, but till date they have not resolved the issue, even after repeated complaint., it is not solved event after 10 days.

                            When even i call the customer care they will tell the same old dialogue

                            "your complaint will be resolved by tomorrow". (And that tomorrow has never come.)

                            To "act" if you are not capable enough provide the proper customer services, what is point in providing the new connection.

                            Because of act fibernet my 10 days work got delayed.

                              I was promised and i am paying for 90mbps but actual speed is 3mbps, which is less than 5% of promised speed.
                              I raised complaint on 12th oct 2017 and was promised that issue will be resolved in 24hrs but complaint was closed next day without issue being resolved.
                              I called next day and raised another complaint. Once again they said it will take 24 hrs.
                              Furthermore, they informed me that as long as even 1kbps speed is delivered, they consider that service is delivered and no waiver will be provided on the billed amount.
                              They charge in advance so i dont know what to do. Should i continue paying and hope that the issue is resolved?
                              Please resolve the issue as soon as possible otherwise i'll be forced to discontinue.

                                Hi,

                                This is with great anger and frustration that i have to report about your pathetic response towards consumer grievances. i have been having network issues with your server since the last 3 weeks. i have raised several complaints for the same matter, that every time it rains or a small gust of wind blows, the server crashes and we are left without internet connectivity for the next 72 hours. the worst part is that nobody at your end will come to know about this unless we raise a complaint. i have raised almost 3-4 cases in the last 15 days alone with the same issue. and still, every 2 days like clockwork, as soon as the rain falls or there is a heavy gust of wind, the server crashes.

                                every time i call the customer care number, which is always the worst part of my day. i am greeted with an automated response telling me to wait, followed by an almost 15 minutes hold at the end of which if we are lucky we get to speak to one of your esteemed customer care executives, who clearly are overburdened with calls of enraged customers such as myself. and even if we do get t talk to them, we get the same robotic answer; that we will resolve it in 48-72 working hours. Which means i have been calling them every 2-3 days when my internet crashes, and then i wait for another 2-3 days for the internet to get reactivated and on goes the cycle. this email is actually an act of desperation with the hope that my trouble will be attended to. this nonchalant manner of responding to customers who pay Rs. 1600/- without fail every month (for which you send reminders on time every month) is just pathetic and proves in every way that you are least bothered about finding a permanent solution to the issue.

                                why not fix the server box permanently, find some way to protect it from the rain, or from any kind of natural or unnatural interference? it does not take rocket science to figure out a solution to such a simple problem. i am sure your employees are sufficiently educated to deal with such issues. or maybe it is the motivation that they lack to perform the one job that they have, to attend to customer grievances.

                                My name is Ken Mohan, and my contact number is [protected]. i am providing these details to ease your effort as much as possible so that my problem gets rectified with the least amount of trouble. i have to warn you, that if this continues to happen, i wil lbe forced to shift my connection to another service provider, and also escalate this issue to a much more stricter authority so that other people are also saved from yuur general lack of commitment and sincerity towards customers who pay their hard earned money that helped build your company to what it is today.

                                i do not expect a swift response to this complaint of mine, but hey, a man can hope.

                                  Hello sirs,

                                  I have been calling the customer care and got fed up by listening the same answer that the issue will get resolved within 48 hrs, but the same i have been listening for last 10 days, which is really frustrating me. Kindly some help me. Yesterday also i called the customer care and some of your rep. Updated me that the issue will get resolve within 06:00 pm today. Today at 06:45 pm i called the customer care and got surprised to hear the same that it will take another 48 hrs.

                                  Please some let me know how long you require to resolve this issue 2 days, 2 weeks, 2 months... Really sorry to say so... If someone will get this kind of experience they may become more wired and wild. Now someone from act please give me the proper commitment so that i can still believe act. I am also in the service industry and if i miss the committed deadline they we need to pay the penalty to my customer... Please let me know how fast and how best you will resolve my problem. This is really making to loose the faith or trust on act.

                                    Act internet service has been poor since last 2 months.. We have multiple complaints and are always promised to resolve in 24-48 hours.. And they have resolved the same..

                                    I have a client waiting for one important delivery which is key to their business..

                                    Here i have now internet issue and the call center confirms there is no technical team who can resolve this.. From my earlier complaint i was advised by one of act employee that there was an issue in my locality.. Do they not have responsibility to own the issue and resolve.. Every now and then seems like i'm spending time to report an issue than concentrate on my deliverables..

                                    They have charged me service for all days in the month whilst they have not provided service.. Can this be looked into as i'm not worried about of additional charge not concerned of internet not working which has financial impact on my earnings.. Please review this and advise

                                    Hi, even after 24hrs the internet service is not available.. please refund the money of the modem.. I will switch to Airtel as they are 200% better.. it's still not working.. thanks to team ACT for being so proactive.. I get a message that the complaint I raised on 10th October is closed.. my number is 9886044633.. ACT as I said is never customer focused and rather looking at increasing customer database.. service is pathetic.. can you help me refund as I will go to another service provider.. I'm fed up complaining as you guys are useless..I received the below message from ACT.. you guys are fraud..

                                      Dont get act fibernet. I was using act network previously but after their disappointing and pathetic customer care service, i had no option other than disconnecting their service and opt for the airtel broadband.
                                      Though i had to compromise a little with the speed but now at least i get persistent connectivity without worrying about the internet going down and most importantly, excellent customer care service which responds quickly to the queries and resolve the issue within hours.

                                      Here is my story which changed my perspective about act...

                                      I got their connection when i moved in to bangalore at bel road. The fibernet network and the offered speed fascinated us, so me and my friend decided to go for this high speed internet. We got 20 mbps with a cap of 60gb @ around 1400 including taxes.

                                      The internet worked fine and usually due to high speed, we generally exhausted our limit of 60gb within 2 or 3 weeks at max and then a very slow speed connectivity is all you will get of mere 512 kbps for saying only, its like no connectivity only.

                                      Then we had to reset the limit which is chargeable again depending on the number of days left in the month cycle. So basically its a trap and a marketing strategy of first luring the users and then stealing from their pockets.

                                      First 2 months, it all was going fine until then. Then the real problem started. The internet goes down all of a sudden one day saying error with dns probe something. I reset my router thinking there is some problem from my side, but no help.

                                      I contacted their customer service then, which is i must say, the worst i have seen after bsnl. They picked the call after 12-15 minutes and mind you the call is chargeable, i told the executive about my problem, he said it would be resolvedd within a day or two. I said ok try to fix it as quickly as possible.
                                      The next day i get a message that your problem has been resolved, i checked the connection, it was working fine but again after 10 minutes of browsing same problem cropped up.
                                      Again i had to call their customer service, which again after 12 minutes they will pick up the call and a new complaint was registered again. He also assured me that by end of the day we get the problem resolved. I was calm till then.
                                      I was on work from home, so i needed the internet badly, but i somehow managed to let go this time and hoped they would resolve it quickly.
                                      I again got the message of the resolving and the internet was up again. This time a little longer but after couple of hours it still went down. This time it freaked me out.
                                      I was in the middle of an important work and this happened when they assured me everything is fixed.
                                      Again i had to call them, this time i told them clearly that this is not acceptable and they should fix it anyhow, and i told them all in good tone controllong my anger and frustration. He told me within hours it will be fixed and i will get one technician to attend me.

                                      Neither any one called or showed up, nor the problem was resolved.
                                      For the fourth time in the day i again called up, every time a newcustomers executive tries to say the same scripted words again and again. This time i lost my temper, i already had spent over 100 bucks on this hell long customer service and no one was able to resolve the problem and neither they were able to connect me to any of their technician. I asked them to connect my call to his senior and the executive guy cut me off the line, making me more angry.

                                      5th, time furiated and boiling with anger i called them again and after few berating and argument this time i got my call connected to the senior.
                                      I told him about my problem and he did apologize to me but again said the same words as the executives.
                                      I told him if the problem is not i will disconnect your connection and he was like ok you can do it and he had the audacity to say that i just had to give a call and after four hours my connection will be disconnected, without even trying to make up for their wrong.

                                      Act has established its monopoly in the fibernet market and are taking undue advantage of this thing.
                                      I was pissed of with that kind of behaviour of theirs, so i disconnected from their service and took airtel broadband and i haven't faced any such trouble from airtel side.

                                      So think twice before getting act connection, if you can do with their poor and arrogant service executives.
