2 months passed no refund

I have paid an advance towards new internet connection on 12th october and got the below message on 13th october

"dear customer, your account no.[protected] will be activated by 17/10/2017. Helpline[protected] thank you for choosing act fibernet!"

I clearly communicated my urgency to your executive, i paid the advance only after he confirmed that there is a connection already available in my building* and it will take max 4days.

After continuous follow up installation guys came here and found no box available in the vicinity. Requested to cancel my connection request and initiate a refund.
See below email correspondence from act saying the refund will be processed in 15 days, however 25 days passed and there is no response or refund.

Tickets being raised and closed without any resolution or intimation to me

Please treat this as priority and resolve at the earliest.

Please give a correspondence to follow up if i didn't get a response even from appellate authority. (Iam writing to appellate since 20 days from there also no reply), or else i need to visit a consumer forum please confirm.

I am unable to connect internet through wifi . it stopped suddenly from[protected] while all other devices like mobiles are connecting. Please resolve the issue.

    I have act broadband connection at home, on 18th november 2017 internet was down as such i raised a ticket but as usual they started closing the ticket without any resolution.
    Prior to this from the past 6 months i had been asking for power back which they are supposed to provide. Even that wasn't fulfilled and the requests were closed without providing any update to me.
    Fed up with their service i have requested for termination of my connection on 21st november through email (I have marked even the nodal officer and the appellate tribunal) they said it would be done within 3 working days but till date it hasn't been done and they just give standard email reply saying back end team will get in touch and will do the needful..

    I am really frustrated with their un-ethical business practices and pathetic customer service. Kindly help me to get my connection disconnected asap.
    I have already paid november 2017 bill, from 18th of november there is no internet provided so kindly proceed with the refund taking into account the above info.

      The act fibernet is horrible. I had raised a complaint to refund the amount which i paid for connection. I didnt get the refund amount still. Also i have told to remove the junction box from the building. Its not been done. I am following up with customer care every day still no update from them. Each time they say they will call back but no update from them. I never ever recommend anyone to go for act fibernet.

      Please do not go for act fibernet. They are cheaters

        My data is being used by somebody else during our office ours. And within 18 days monthly data pack got finished. Raised a complaint to customer care. They told me like within 24 hours technician will visit my place. As we trusted them, buy out extra 10 gb. They didn't turn up. As i said earlier someone else is using my data. It got finished in 2 days. It's been 8 days. Till now i have called to customer care for almost 15 times. It didn't get resolved. Nobody is taking seriously for the data theft.

        Worst ever services i have gone through this. Every time they will tell that issue has been escalated. Act hired those kind of people who don't even know the meaning of escalation. Since 6 days they are telling me that issue got escalated.

        From now i'll suggest to my colleagues and friends not to go for act fibernet. Dabba service ever ever i seen.

        On the top team leads behave like it is quite natural and it is not their mistake.
        Spoke with suvin sharma-team team leader, he didn't responded me back. Vinodh another team leader. This vinodh is very great guy telling me like i can disconnect the act fibernet. Such a great act hiered. I completely lost my hope that issue will get resolve. As me and my husband both are working, using mobile net to work at home paying 1270+170=1440rs to act. I felt pity on me to take this worst network. As it is my decision to go for act completely regret for this biggest blunder in my life.

        Fed up of calling. And till now i didn't get any call back from act team. At least that is the minimum responsibility i feel.

        Any way guys if someone come here to take act fibernet, i please suggest not to take. Worst ever data service provider. Don't feel regret like me within 3 months.

        I asked for my already buy out data. They are denying for that even. Vinodh confirmed that if they are not going to resolve this issue by sat eod which means yesterday they will provide even my buy out data. Now they are least bother about that.

              From past my data of 150 gb is getting exhausted in the middle of the month. When i called act they started giving lame excuses of how data usage is done. I am using my 4g connection most of the time. Except for couple of movies on my tv. Today my data was at 44gb and by the end of day it got reduced to 9 gb i was the only using internet for entire day. Consider this seriously i will file a complaint if i have to. I won't let you guys take customers for granted

                My consumer number is id[protected] and i have been utilising the services of act fibre for past ten years when the same took over from beam.

                For three months after payment of amounts for six months for 75 mbps, services was such bad i am getting 10 mbps download and upload 0. I have lodged series of complaints with for slow speed. Some technician will come he understands that he cannot solve the same. The moments he vanishes from the spot, the problem is closed as stating that the issue is resolved.

                The issue is not solved, i took it to the level of nodal officer, but the same did not work. Can you see that the same is solved by taking the problem to higher level.

                  Hi team,

                  This is regarding my complain i hav been trying to resolve for almost a month now!

                  Issue:
                  - my act broadband is not working.
                  - customer care team is not able to provide timeline and resolution
                  - problem statement as mentioned by cc team: technical support team cannot loacate the broaband box in my area (Yelahanka) - difficult to believe this as i am using it for more than a year now.

                  Status so far:
                  Just for 1 issue, i have been given multple ticket numbers (As mentioned below) and this has been closed wothout fixing the issue every now and then. I have been callin cc team every day and spending time to get this reopened and my issue fixed (Have spoken to more than 10 reps so far. Person named asha was the most unprofessional with her response to me).
                  Conversation with cc team has been extremely unpleasant for all its reasons.

                  They hav taken request to have the call back from team leaders thrice and i am still waiting for their call back!!! (This makes me wonder if they even have team leader/managers at all!)

                  No one knows to give a deadline or a fesable time on this issue closure in cc team. Each time i call, their standard answer is it will be closed in 24 hours! Everytime!

                  I also dont have an escalation matrix to follow to raise my complaints to higher level while i am on call. Why would i wait for a call back when i hav already waited for a week?

                  Please change the email id on the act mobile app and online as it does not work!! This is misleading for customers.

                  Also i would like to keep you informed that i have now raised this issue with national consumer board under docket number 495100. (I had informed your team 3 days back i would do this today if my issue is not sorted)

                  My request:
                  - fix the internet connection (Or disconnect it and refund all my balance money along with router fee because its your issue)
                  - if issue can be fixed, refund the amount that i have not used it for (Including tax value)
                  - compensation for the trouble you hav given me for last 2 weeks

                    I am having act fibernet connection to my residence and almost. Past year i have the same complaint that my devices that is mobile or laptop are disconnecting from wifi router with in few minutes of connection and to connect again i have to power off router and power onso again connectivity establishes and gets disconnected in minutes so to do my work at least 100timesi have to do the same. I had complaints registered with act at least 20 times and they are closing complaint without actually solving the problem

                      This is the horrible customer service that i have ever seen. They simply say 24 hours to resolve the issue and when i kept following up they said, we will definitely fix the issue in 24 hrs. After the 24 hrs is completed, when i tried to follow up they simply said they don't have my request and they ask me to submit a new one again. I did not submit the new and called back again little later and this time the guy says he sees the request but there was error in the system when the request was submitted and it was not processed and he updated the request and some will attend it within 24 hours again. The new 24 hrs is also about to finish and still no one is taking the responsibility to resolve it. When i had asked them to connect to their manager, they say they cannot do it. So this is the horrible customer service that i had ever seen
                      The same thing happened to me few months back. I waited for 3 or 4 days and went with a different provider and they trying to repeat the same thing again
                      After 24 hrs of submission of the request they simply say they don't find the request and ask us to submit a new one. I think they may be deleting the request after 24hrs if its not fulfilled or they are just trying to misguide us.

                        I got bill today that i have to pay my previous bill, which i have all ready paid, in last payment in the month of may, '17. And i ask for disconnection of 22nd may, 2017. They didn't come for disconnection, i informed again in 25th may, and they come and disconnect, on 15th june, send me bill on june rs.660/- and they have automatically, take it from my credit card, i claim and i revert back that amount. They didn't come for disconnection, in the same month and for that i have pay is it logical?

                          We have requested to shift our connection to our new place as we have shifted and already having the wifi. Router. Its just a matter of shifting the connection but the customer care service is so poor, actually worst that they are telling the same things everyday like"it will be done by evening today". I really don't know when that evening will come for them. These people really doesn't understand the value of time neither having any work culture, literally terrible. Escalation has been done thrice still there is no progress!
                          If you could please respond to this and shift this connection as soon as possible and i mean it should be today!!!

                            * got an act connection a year back, and was assured i would not have to pay shifting fee when i moved.
                            * apr 2017, paid for 6 months in advance and was told subscription now valid til oct31st
                            * jun 2017 moved to new location, was told i have to pay ₹500 for shifting, when i told them i was promised free transfer. They switched the excuse to 'connection not feasible'. I asked to cancel subscription, was told i would not get a refund.
                            * after many extremely tiresome conversations with different customer care reps, told them i'd keep the connection till oct-end since they weren't returning my money anyway - they suddenly found it feasible again
                            *until the last week of oct, i've gotten no alerts or reminders that subscription is ending. Called customer service on 31st oct, told them i'm not renewing, get the reply that my connection has been put on auto-renew, and that it will take 3 days to disconnect (Even though the last time they disconnected while i was on the phone)
                            * 5th nov, get an sms from act that service has been disconnected and i'm being billed for the next 6 months!!!
                            The mental torture that this agency put you through... Seriously, pay more and get an airtel connection, or pay less and get bsnl either way you'll save yourself a lot of pain

                              I have been using act fibernet (Atria convergence technologies) more than 2 years, never faced problem before last (September 2017) month. Since one month i am not able use internet and have raised mutiple tickets requesting to fix the issue. All my struggles are waste and no engineer and the senior level team are capable or ready to fix the issue. Now they are asking to pay the month bill of october 2017 which i have used hardly 5 gb. Kindly help in this regard. I have lost my mental peace and not able to do my office work at home.

                                Iam akhilesh nd my account no [protected] not getting internet since from 2dy i try to contact ur customer care but no one pick the call i don't understand for what purpose u people running customer care centre it's too bad service u people give to me nd u people not even picking the call see i need to do work from home so plz resolve the issue and make sure that this problem won't repeat again

                                  I have paid the money for broadband installation but they have deducted the amount for installation. 25 days over. My friends use the same.in 01 day, they do installation. There is no response from the customer. I am not sure whether my money is in safe hands.in addition to that, i have been raised a bill of 650/- for one month charge. I need my money back. I can go with other broadband services or installation should be done immediately. Otherwise i will be bound to put a forgery & cheating case against actcorp.

                                    I had raised a connection shifting request on 20th october 2017. I have got all the assurances from act fibernet customer care but the connection itself. The call representatives always tell me that - "one of our field executives will reach out to you by today evening", and the cycle continues everyday. Its been almost 15 days now. Below are the request details -

                                    This is very frustrating as a customer because i have taken office leaves to wait for act executives which shows how insensitive act is about the customers time and energy. It has become a daily routine for me to call act customer care and then explain the issue resulting in the above cycle. I sincerely hope that they improve their services soon to retain customers

                                    After completing the feasibility check and confirming that the connection is available, the representative has told me that it would take 8-10 days more. Also, he said that he doesnt guarantee about the timeline. I had to take a salary cut due to all the leaves and not being able to use internet while working from home.

                                    ACT Fibernet still doesnt acknowledge their inability to install a connection in Kaggadasapura. Surely, they have not planned their field operations as efficiently as their advertisement banners in kaggadasapura area.

                                    I would personally not recommend anyone staying in CV Raman Nagar & Kaggadasapura area, to opt for ACT Fibernet. Reason being, waste of customers time, energy and money.

                                      Same as other complaints... They will show your usage as consumed... On complaint they will say we will investigate the matter, come back after 3 days with the same shell of information that is available on app... No breakup only daily upload and download data... And continue with their fraudulent activities... How can any one consume 225 gb of data in 20 days on youtube or fb videos... Act calculates blue ray quality download for one hour of youtube usage... Open sources calculate 1080 quality consumption at 1.3 gh max for 2 hours, but act will show 10 gnk consumed for the same duration...

                                        I had first requested for a transfer of my existing connection on 29/09/17. Act informed me that there was no feasibility in my new location and they closed the transfer request. Last week on 23/10/2017, act installed boxes and laid cables in my apartment to provide connections. We had already given them the builder noc to install the boxes and provide the connection after which act people came and installed the boxes and laid down the cables in my apartment. After this was done and confirmed by act, i raised another transfer request for my existing connection on 25/09/2017. I was informed the same day that somebody from act will call me within 24 hours and let me know the status of the transfer request. It has been 5 days and nobody called. Today, i called them up and asked the status to which they said that they cannot transfer the connection as the area is not feasible. When i informed them that there are people who have got new connections and got their existing connections transferred in my apartment, they said that for me they cannot transfer the connection. My question is, why are they not transferring my connection when they have already done for other customers in my apartment.

I had raised a complaint against ACT at National Consumer forum JAAGO GRAHAK JAAGO. Even then there is no solution and you people are just going around with some story. Now, I have decided to take ACT to the court. Thanks
