My ACT A/c No 1131848

I am using 999 package with 50GB this month and yesterday 3:00 PM i checked usage, it was less than 3 GB usage, after that i went to office and come back night 12:30 AM, then i was connected internet through my laptop, connection is very slow and checked the usage it is showing 49.XX it was exceed within eight hours.. Last month also happend same issue i done the payment of 221 for release the speed and i got 10GB and it is exceed within a days.

MY connection exceeds more than 50 GB ACT Fibernet surly some miscalculation is in progress.

Observation : on 26 Mar 2016 morning pay the amount of 221/- rs

Before the payment : ACT site showing as 50.39 (Exceed)
After the payment : ACT site showing as 10 gb balance .. with in 5 hours of time, it came to 49.xx is this real or blaming the people.

Last month also I complaint the issue, but i couldn't get proper response from customer care. It is really very worst.

    I had asked ACT for a new broadband connection at residence. The sales person Mr Kalyan was very quick to come home and fill the form and collect advance cheque for six months. He promised to fit connection by next day. Next day man came at 5 pm rather than the 11am which was promised. He said your cable is not ok and new cable has to be put for our connection. I have complete internal wiring in the house. I said fine I shall get it changed. He said that by tomorrow (March 21, 5pm) your connection will be activated. I said ok. On March 21 early morning I got the new cable put and then called the salesperson(Mr Kalyan) that he could send his person. He said fine, it would be done by 5pm on March 21. Kept waiting till 6PM, no one came. Tried calling up the salesperson and the technician who had come previous day, however no response was elicited.They did not even bother to reply back to my calls. Then sent SMS at about 8PM that if he does not call me withi 5 minutes, then he could cancel the connection. Promptly within 5 minutes someone calls up that he would come within one hour and fit the connection. The person(Pavan or praveen) comes at 9:15 PM, tries to set up the connection and fails. He tells me that the account is not activated at the backend and he would get it done tomorrow(March22) by 9AM. I say ok. Morning I ring up customer care and they say the account is already active. I say that when connection is not installed then how can account be active. So I send them a mail that kindly cancel this connection.
    They send a mail back that cancellation is in process.
    When account has not been setup how can it be cancelled, I fail to understand.
    Anyway, after few days that is today, I recieve an SMS stating that you have a bill for APRIl which is to be paid (Amount Rs 496). This is after mails which state that your account has been suspended.
    So this is what you expect from ACT.

      i've been using ACT internet for almost 3 years. This issue never used to happen.
      for the past 4-5 months im seeing that the FUP gets over very fast, 75 gb gets over in 15 days of minimal usage. the whole day no one in my home uses the internet., i only come back after work and use the net. I almost reset the Fup every month. i end up paying 400+ rs extra for the reset.

      This is not acceptable. please get back to me ASAP.

        I am resident of Bangalore (HSR sector-2) and moved form Airtel to ACT.
        I got my service activated on the 18th March 2016, 100Mbps 125 GB account 11776311.
        In 8 days it says i've exceeded my limit, i had important office work and i got a recharge for 24GB on 27th night and connected via a VPN and in a couple of hours i was done and logged out of the computer.
        In the morning the FUP exceeded and the customer care are telling me that i've exhausted both the quotas.
        I've requested for a usage report and will have to check the same.
        Have anybody had similar experiences, lets share the same and ensure it is got to the attention of ACT broadband and other regulatory authorities asap.

          The customer care provides the worst possible service..no proper technicians..and these guys are very careless i acting upon an reported issue..this connection cannot be relied on at all..the network goes down often and its a experience using this service..these guys arw completely unprofessional and donot have a proper techician to act upon issue as soon as possible..beam is not at all customer friendly and the worst ever service provider in hyderabad..very very dissatisfied with the service

            I am using ACT broadband from around 1 and half years . From Last 7-8 months. I dont know what happened . My FUP gets over in 15-20 days no matter what I browse and what I download . I dont know how many complaints I made about this, no proper response . This months also I reset my FUP, I got 15 GB and in two day around 12 GB is consumed, GOD knows how.

            I called your customer care on friday evening, A guy named Prashant picked up the call and i requested him to connect to the supervisor . As usual he said supervisors are busy, 100% sure you will get a call from supervisor within 2 hrs of time . And he also said he has created a request for Usage report and I will be receiving it within 24 hours of time.

            I did not get any call even after 3 hours . I called again, A guy named Manjunath picked and told me that 2 hrs is JUST AN SLA .
            What do you mean by JUST AN SLA, you people keep SLA for namesake ??

            He promised me that I will be getting a call and usage report on first half of saturday . As usual NO CALL, NO REPORT.

            And the best part is

            Today morning I received and SMS saying your issue has been resolved and complaint is closed .

              Hi,

              This month (March 2016), i downloaded games in my xbox for around 50gb and i knew that i should be left with around 20 gb to survive the whole month but all of a sudden, it was exhausted in two days, since i'm used to high speed connection i went ahead and rest my fup for 60gb by paying rs. 1000+ and downloaded 10gb worth of data, in two days my remaining 50gb gone, i didnt reset the fup. I again went a head and reset my fup on 13th night around 7 pm since i need to setup the new mobile, i got 46gb for rs.771, downloaded all the apps i need, should not be more than 2 gb,

              Monday morning (14th) i went to mumbai and came back on friday (18th), checked my usage stats, i have exceeded the limit, called them up and asked for the usage report, they sent it. There is a line item for march 16th in the evening, with in four hour there was a download for 26gb. Filled a complaint with them and received a call just now (March 23, 4:40 pm), they informed that the downloads are in order and the download has happened from my mac address, i told them that only mom and dad were there and how come they would have downloaded 26gb in a matter of 4 hours, that replied that they could have watched a blue ray movie online and informed that it would be 15 gb if they watch a 3 hours movie in blue ray format.

              My mom and dad dont watch movies in iphone or ipad. Asked for a detailed report for 16th march and they said as per trai regulation they wont provide the detailed report to customers.

              Act has started to rip off customers by this new tactics of exhausting their fup limit and im going to post this post every where i can. Have been asking my friends to switch to act now have to inform them about the fraud activity my them.

              Gonna paste this in facebook, twitter and everywhere else and tweet those.

                Very much dis-satisfied with the services provided by act fibernet. Id:[protected]. Frequent disconnections, poor signal, low speeds, fradulent data consumption meter, no proper response when contacted customer care for complaint resolving. When i sent a mail regarding connectivity issue, got a reply about act hungama offer instead connectivity issue addressed. On 23-3-16, i faced connectivity issue from early morning 5.30. When i tried to call customer care number on[protected], no response till 11.30 am. Not even provided any toll free number, then why service tax is charged every month?What kind of service is provided for that charge as i am paying amount for the usage. Everytime that number will give a busy tone. Luckily when get connected, the customer care people are the most irresponsible people with their reply when asked connectivity issues. No proper treatment for customers. Complaints wont be addressed nor resolved in time. No superior authority/incharge for readdressal. How they got licence for running these without next level authority for resolving complaints? The care people who attend the calls not even replying fairly. Answering roughly. Extremely useless service providers. I want an early resolution and explanation from act authorities. Seriously need to check act actions.

                  I have ACT Fibernet with 50GB FUB at 30 MBPS. Between Mar 16 21:18 to Mar 17 03:17 i.e 6 hours, almost 26 GB has gone.

                  This happened on weekday when we do just email checking, surfing social media sites and office work.
                  This is pathetic, how can anyone consume 26 GB in 6 hours especially when for majority of the time we were sleeping

                      For an second, i thought i am in 18th century b.C.
                      Ravi is my super responsive sales agent from adambakkam, he will chase you like anything to get the full amount on installation. While you have to run like a dog to get your connection. After a month they will respond as not possible. The customer team is brilliant in responses here. Everytime millions of sorry they will give you, you can instead go to tirupathi and shave your head for them.
                      Most irritating customer service, if you cannot provide a service, then why the hell are you asking the customers to run behind you???
                      It has been 58 days since you last responded, it is my cash i am running behind you, nor i am asking from your sales agent ravi's pocket/ or his salary. What the hell are you thinking about your customers ???

                      You have lost your reputation, you can provide light speed even, you cannot earn the trust back!!!

                      When should I expect a response ? It's already been 59 days!. I can't hold my patience for you guys!. Let me know if this could be resolved if I happened to meet your T Nagar office directly. Even today Ravi (your sales agent) is not picking up. I am not sure how you guys could make customers wait without even providing the service! Please make it ASAP. I really mean that ASAP, then you might have to face the legal consequences.

                      If you can't resolve and give back the amount, I am not sure why you are making the customer irritative!!.. useless response again & again!!!

                        The promise from ACT was that installation will be done in a day. failed promise. called customer care and their executives multiple times and response is very bad. lot of these people are liars. CC and executives are getting irritated when I am following. The guy who took the payment from me is not answering my call.

                        I raised a request a cancel the connection. I doubt if they are working to cancel my connection.
                        ACT team, do not ask for registered contact number. ask for the complaint number. You should be able track rest of the details you need.

                          I am Hem Kumar Thakur, Resident of AECS layout Bangalore. I have taken Internet from ACT fibernet for nearly one Year now. I always had issues with the loss of services from ACT as they don't replace defective products. For instance, The Junction box from where cable is connected to my home is, is unlocked as the lock is broken and they ahve not bothered to replace that despite multiple promises to do so. Currently I have two complaints running with them for last 10 days (complaint no: [protected], 64) and another running from last two days (complaint no: [protected]) . I also have suffered through this for last so many months and everytime they assure about services. But all in vain. The Junction box has still not been replaced. The loss of internet is affecting my work and have to travel to office with bad health as cannot work from home. I kindly request you to Look into this matter.

                            When ever we open the net advertisements are bombarding . it is causing lot of disturbance.they are disconnecting or flashing suddenly erasing the working information. we are forced to restart the work. some times the data is not saved because the adds appear as a flash so pl. dont display them unnecessarily and disturb our works. consider this as urgent and stop the ads hence forth, other wise we may have to go for other data providers.while typing this also the adss flashed.and stopped the proceeding

                                  ACT fiber net has been rounding off the bill amount to the higher value without the consent of the customer. When i mailed them they asked me to pay the actual amount while their website refuses to accept an amount lower than the actual amount.

                                  Their employees do not have an answer for the same.

                                  As consumers are we liable to pay the excess amount?

                                    Hi,

                                    Act Corp earlier called as Beam Tele, An Internet SP for domestic usage in Hyderabad. Initially, when installing the Internet connection at home normally they will take 500 towards installation charges, Also they will have some offers such as if you are going to pay 6 months charges upfront nearly about 4.7k they would waive off installation charges. Opting this plan, I had paid them 6 months bill upfront, unfortunately...

                                    I complained so many times that the user id and password is not working. First 3 days no proper response, after which nobody picks up the call after seeing my number. I have been asking to close the connection for 5 days and still there is no response. I didn't receive even a single call after my complaints.

                                      Hi All,

                                      I am using Beam for last 5 years and now reached to the peak level of frustration with their service. I have requested to shift my connection to a new place which
                                      is not more than 5 KM from old place and has a dead connection already in place. This bunch of people could not even address this concern for last 10 days.

                                      Everytime I am calling and asking the reason for the delay but getting the same response "We are updating the request and escalating to next level" which was
                                      feeded to this robots. I am tired of explaning them several times that updating the ticket is not getting the connection at my home. What the hell I will do by updating the ticket if no technician is reaching me for last 10 days.

                                      I am pissed up with your service now and switching to another network and will recommend the same to all in the community. Therefore informing them to discontinue the above mentioned service right away and nevel call me back for money or apology.
