Why can't I recharge my airtel number online?

I can't recharge my mobile number online for almost two months now. Every time I try to recharge it comes as either recharge unsuccessful or failed. However, I am able to recharge from retail outlet mobile shop. I had approached Airtel Express shop twice with the issue and lodged a complaint. I even had emailed to to airtel customer care but there wasn't any prompt action. I would like to know where should I approach again with the issue....

    Dear sir,
    On 05.11.2016 i had received a call from [protected]/[protected] @12.35pm (dated 05.5.2017) in my mobile no. [protected], where she said we are calling from bank online reward points department and she asked the credit card details for the purpose of giving additional reward points and cash back. i gave the card number and she asked me to input the cvv & otp and connected me on IVR when i checked the sms completely till the transaction done. after she told me within 2 days the reward points will credit in your card. immediately the sum of 10, 000/- eas debited from my CC . i checked with bank, they told the amount transaction done in some other merchant, immediately i blocked my card with help of bank executive. i tried to contact that person but the mobile no. comes switched off.

    Please request you to help me on this matter to get back the amount.

    As per law it is not mandatory to file a case, this transaction can be declined if the concern person is unable to share the Front side of the card used for this transaction if required you can even demand for statement for this transaction please take it further and arrange for a reimbursement.

      Dear Sir/Madam,

      I am using Broadband from Airtel. Presently, existing wifi not working properly. Request complaint to Airtel to change it to VDSL modem type on 08.04.2017 along with change in plan to 899/- per month from 1199/- per month. After that I received call many times from airtel customer care for asking time to solve the problem. But, finally nobody came till today. Contacted so many time to customer care, every time assuring to the problem to solve within 24 hours. But till now not solved. They already confirmed two days before that modem is available last week. But, no action till now. Please help me to solve the problem.

        I got a new broadband connection from airtel 2 days ago. All of a sudden after 10 min network got disconnected.
        Tried restarting routers, LAN cables plugging and unplugging everything,
        finally called the customer care, they lodged a complaint saying it is server side issue and will take 24 hours to resolve it.
        When I checked the status on the site it did not mention the expected date.
        For new connection if I face so many problems how can I trust this network?
        Very poor customer service. And now again they are saying they'll resolve back in 48 hours. Why should I even pay them?

            Hi,

            I have taken a airtel mobile connection long ago from airtel customer relationship center in bhimavaram, west godavari district, andhra pradesh. On that day i have given the necessary documents and photo to get the connection. Recently 2 years back my number [protected] changed to pre paid to post post and also taken another number i. E., [protected] as post paid with 275 plan. I am not satisfying with the services of airtel due to your network, call drop and also excess amount paying by me nearly 325 to 400 every month. Recently i decided to change the network plan post paid to prepaid. I am going to your customer relationship center, j. P. Road, opp. Petrol bunk, bhimavaram and said the same to your people. They saying that not working the process of post paid to prepaid.in this connection, i am not paying the rental of rs. 295/- due to changing my plan. But, not change the plan by your persons. I am repeatedly go to your store for the above purpose. These is really harassment of customers, please contact me in this issue. If not i am simply go to your network to another network.

              I have changed to prepaid to postpaid in April under MyPlan Family, I am using an HTC One M8 device in which I was able to use 4G when I was using prepaid. At first, they said it might be a SIM fault, Please change the SIM and report back to us. I changed the SIM on 17th April and the problem was not yet resolved. Then they gave some instructions on troubleshooting my device and they said they will do the same on their end. I changed all related Mobile Settings/Internet Settings as instructed by them. I have even tried using the same SIM in other devices and there was no avail as it was not working. I used another Airtel SIM in my device and 4G works up to the mark.

              I have raised 9 complaints regarding the same, The first one(SR No.[protected] was dated on 15th April 2017 and the latest one(SR No.[protected] was dated on 4th May 2017. Whenever I call them they will acknowledge the complaint and the relevant team will call you within 48 hours of time. The relevant team never calls and sends a message stating, (We tried calling you to update on the Network complaint against your airtel mobile, but we were unable to reach you. We will call back again.). As far as I can remember, My device was up and working at that time. Every time I complain, I mention that I am able to use Data Services. I am getting H+/H and the speed is less than 1Mbps. They ask if I am facing this issue in a single location or every location. I say I face this issue wherever I go and they acknowledge it. Now after two days, The team who handles my request changed the Status and in the details column and they close it by stating it as a Non-Network Issue/ Mismatch resolved. They don't even call the customer to check if the issue has been resolved or not. If by chance they call the customer, Sir, It was a technical issue from our side. We have fixed it. Please switch off your device, remove your SIM and wait for 20 minutes before inserting it back again. They do this and close the complaint just to avoid facing the customer again.

              Every time I call the customer care executive or Nodal Authority, They say we have escalated your complaint. You have to wait for maximum 48 hours before it gets fixed and I will call back to check on it. They just say that so we can get off their backs. When I ask them, I have already waited for 500 hours and still my issue is not resolved, They reply with Sir, It is a network issue it will take some time. I will be following this on my end and make sure I get back to you. When I ask the Customer Care(121/198) to connect me to the Network team, They say we cannot do it, sir, as it is not in our hands. I will raise and request and the network team will definitely contact you within 48 hours of time. When I do ask them What is they don't contact me within the stipulated time? Their answer is so vague, We will make sure they contact you sir and if they don't contact you please call us again. Now when I call the customer care again, They say you have to wait for 48 hours again to receive a call, sir. This is their so called professionalism towards the customer. Give them a time and tell them to wait so they won't bother us again. Tactic to avoid the customer and loot him by declining the services subscribed by the customer.

                Airtel has send me a sms on 4G sets offering unlimited calls and 1.25 GB internet for Rs 498 on 05 May 2016. Accordingly I recharged mobile with the same amount now the company representatives asking that no same offer was given.

                company send me above msg on 05 May 2016 at 10.04 am and again at 12.09 pm (snapshot attached) and accordingly I recharged on 05 May 2016 at 11.32 am. After that I also talked with Airtel customer care care Mrs Neha kumari on 05 May 2016 at 12.18 pm who confirmed my recharge benefits with the validity 14 Jul 2017. But today on 06 May 2017 company refusing all the benefits and saying there was no offer, also not showing my recharge on My Airtel App. I also mailed to Nodalofficer.[protected]@airtel.com but they also did not responding. I enclosing all snapshots and I also have conversation of Neha Kumari who assured me the benefits. Kindly resolve the matter. Mobile No [protected]

                  Dear Airtel DTH Team

                  I am still unhappy with your service team, your engineer came to house 8:30 pm and checked all the things Set Top Box, Connection, DISH atleast 1 hour but he unable to resolve my issue.

                  And Finally He suggest me that I have to change my box from SD to HD with payment of 500/-, unsatisfied answer by him.

                  I just bought 3 month ago and he said for change the box, then what is utilization of this box, I think service team cheated me very well with new excuses.

                  Please send some other expert engineer or bring it back all, I will connect new connection, and I dont need refund.

                  I have to watch IPL properly not with Airtel excuses.

                      We had a broadband connection in the name of my husband & since we had to vacate our premises in noida & shift to lucknow, hence we submitted a query with airtel to disconnect the connection in last week of april before vacating, same was attended & the connection was disconnected. But after a couple of days around 2nd may, my husband received a call from one of the airtel executive telling about some plan wherein some some good amount of data is available at some reduced prices. That executive constantly nagged & kept on forcing to apply for this plan even when he was clearly told that we had already disconnected the connection since we are shifting to lucknow, ironically even i received a similar call on the same day & had a tough time explaining the executive that i ma not interested since i had shifted but the executive kept on forcing & lastly i had to scold him & kept the phone.

                      But inspite of all this my husband received a call yesterday that some people from airtel had come to install some device at our old residence & when my husband told that he had vacated the house & called up airtel, these people replied that they had processed our request for new connection at old address whereas we had not given any such consent & even refused to lodge any complaint against this.
                      This is highly unacceptable that such a company with such a huge repute resorts to such inconvenience to their premium customers, both my husband & me use airtel & we have been loyal customers of air tel.
                      Such kind of forceful marketing is strictly against consumer ethics.

                              Hi,

                              I am currently using airtel prepaid numbers from last 10-12 years and since last 6 months i am facing no network issue. I had raised the complaint for the same about 6 months ago to airtel (Applette as well as nodal) and airtel technician came and also checked that in my area there is network issue.

                              Post this 1st i was being told by applette team that the issue will be resolved in 2 months and then said 1 more month and then said untill end of april but still i am facing the same issue. Two days ago i sent email regarding the same to their applette team and now they are saying that it will take more time (This time they can not even give me any timeframe).

                              Now, because of above issues, when i ask for mobile number portability to vodafone (Whose network is perfectly working fine in my area), on this regarding refund my prepaid balance, was being told it is not possible.

                              I dont want to port out rather airtel bad services forcing me to port out to some other provider and on top of that, they arent giving me my money back. I even tried with airtel so called "open network" in my area, it says excellent whereas at my home, it doesnt work at all (Its not frequent disconnection, its about no network at all).

                                I had requested for discontinuing my Airtel connection [protected] which had internet and call in the month of January 2017 due to my relocation. Cancellation department had offered discount and facility to relocate to the new address and check for feasibility at new address. This relocation and discount was offered from Airtel customer care while I had requested a discontinuation only. After that I had again placed a request on 3rd February 78451008 and had got an SMS that the cancellation will be processed in 7 days and any applicable refund shall be processed by 20/03/2017. Again I had connected to the customer care on 04/02/2017 to check the status and they had given a reference number 78515434.
                                Even after all this I am now getting requests for payments for bill done for the period after discontinuation also. I am ready to do payments till January or latest till 3rd February. When I had again contacted Airtel customer care they have informed that the discontinuation was done on 28th March 2017.
                                I have been paying Airtel for past more than 2 years regularly, but this unwanted billing of two months is something that I am not ready to pay as I have not even consumed the services which can be checked from your data records also.
                                Request for retention was from Airtel end and not from my end as I was looking forward for discontinuation.

                                I would like to get this sorted out and am ready to pay till 3rd Feb 2017.

                                      The network is extremely poor. Hardy 1/ 2 tower bars... Sometime the sim gets automatically into no service and instruction say only emergency call.. Data services are available only in certain places in the area where network is available.. I have purchased a 4g sim.. But there services is not anything like 4g. Airtel ranks to be the fastest network in india which is still remains a mistry to me.. I use a jeo sim too sadly they provide better service. (Also to be noted 'free service')... Kindly take some action immediately and make the necessary improvements... My expectations from airtel is very genuine.. This sort of disappointment is displeasing..
