Quite frustrated with Airtel's Tariffs and services too.
I went to airtel store for transfer of my corporate connection to personal name.
They charged me Rs 25 for new sim issuance whereas operators like Reliance JIO offering LTE services free..
so if Airtel is charging for the SIM like this then what to say about other tariffs.
1GB data for Rs 250..??? what the heck...

I have been an Airtel customer for many years now. I have 4G postpaid router, landline, broadband, 2 DTH and 2 prepaid cellphone accounts with Airtel. I must say their quality of service isn't bad BUT the quality of customer service sucks big time. But when i use the internet the signal always shows 4g, even though it deducts from 3g data balance, and beyond 3g data balance it will deduct money from main balance. The airtel data offers are always fake. When the usage is in 4g why they are charging for 3g.
