Hi,
On 17th June, 2014 I spoke with a sales rep for a new connection. He checked on feasibility and confirmed that the installation can be done within 2 days.
On 19th June, another person (Mob - [protected]) confirmed the same and collected the application (No. TBLR 6834261) and a cheque worth Rs 500. He books this deal the same day.
Later on the same day, he informs me that it will take a week and asked me to contact Prashant, his area manager (Mob - [protected]). Prashant committed that the installation will be completed by 24th June. This did not happen and he did not take my calls thereafter.
On 25th, I managed to find your customer service number and registered a complaint (No.[protected]. About 2 hours later, I get a call back where your customer service rep informs me that "as per records the installation has been completed". When I clearly told him that no one has even contacted me for the installation, he changed the status and committed to have this "installed within 24 hours".
On 26th, I did not hear from anyone. On 27th, I called again, and although at first was given some excuse, later the customer care rep told me that I will NOT get connection. When I asked why I was lied to till now and why so far no one has contacted me on this, he apologized and told me that his manager will call back the same day. I never got any call !
On 29th, when I called to follow up, a rep told me that Airtel will not communicate that installation cannot be done until after feasibility is confirmed. What??
In the end, their sales rep gets a deal booked, Airtel gets a cheque and I have zero communication from Airtel about my money or absence of connection.
