Dear Sir/ Madam, I am Dr. Rajendran and got Airtel sim in chennai, No is [protected]. I came to Dubai and without giving any notification my sim is deactivated. This is second time I am facing the same problem. I used this number just 2 weeks before and received messages, but Airtel customer service says reason for deactivation that i did not use this sim for last 3 months. But I have received more than 100 messages in last months. I was not informed before about deactivation and I did not get any email from Airtel or call or messages. How they can disconnect without giving information to customer? They expect me to come to India and reactivate. Does any one can come to India only for reconnection??Kindly solve this problem.     On June 11 th had enabled smsm booster of 18, but at a later point of time i noticed that i was not active after 2 days, i was charged one rupee per sms, very cheap and mischevious activity done by Airtel. I was customer of Airtel from 2006 till date. After this incident i am planning to port my number to other network PFB the recharged evidene - As attachment link is not working updating the evidence here.. Namaste!         Sir my airtel sim had broken and I had re-issued the sim from the airtel store situated at " outside dhawan coony, ferozepur city (152002) " on 26th june. The owner of the store had asked for my id proof and charged me Rs. 100 When I asked him that the actual charges are Rs. 25 and why was he charging Rs. 100 which is 4 times from me. I told him that I had re-issued my other airtel sim from chandigarh where I was charged Rs. 25. Then he replied that at chandigarh Airtel itself pay the rents for the stores whereas in ferozepur we ourselves had to pay rent for the airtel stores, so he was charging Rs. 100 from me. The argue is not about the extra Rs. 75 he charged from me. The thing is that if he has charged me Rs. 100. It means he is charging 4 times from every customer which is wrong according to me. Now its been 6 days and still the card is not activated.             Hi my self vivek kumar I received call from airtel, They said about the airtel 4g net benefit. After lesson her word i find tds offer suitable for me. I agree to take airtel prepaid connection, I provide suitable time to agent will come to me and i will take connection. Next day he will come showed me demo and provide me one airtel dongle. I paid 1100 rs amount to him he said tomorrow he will provide sim card. But he revered come after 3 day he came and provide sim card. Till that date i am waiting for my activation, and they don't received my call, I am corporate guy i don't have time to go physically.               This is ridiculous there has been instances where i have received missed calls from +92 numbers, earlier i had ignored thinking that it will be resolved. But still i have received a call from +92 number which the country code for Pakistan(as per the internet are fraudulent calls). Why are we getting calls from this number at all. Shouldn't you guys just ban such calls automatically. Since these are calls which can harm our accounts. Don't you AIRTEL guys understand the safety o[censored]s INDIANS. How the heck did they get our numbers. Please check. This is really pathetic of you guys.

                I have been a customer of Airtel from the time I owned a mobile phone and my mobile number is [protected]. Of late I notice that I never receive the calls made to my phone. Even when I keep the mobile next to my land line phone and give a call to my airtel number it says out of range or busy etc..etc.. After a few minutes I get a message saying I had a missed call and requests me to call back. Now I wonder if the company is resorting to some unethical business practices. I hope you will take some steps to rectify this if not I and my family members will be forced to change the service provider

                Dear Sir,
                I did get a call from one of your executives and I clarified the problem I have been facing.
                Till today the problem remains unsolved.
                In fact half an hour ago my son tried to get in touch with me on my mobile phone from my home land line number for some emergency for almost 8 times, but he was not able to get me on line.
                He received message that my phone was out of range, where as I was very much in office and my phone was not engaged.

                After some time I get a message that I have 8 missed calls from my home number.

                I begin to feel that this is an unethical practice you resort to so that I call back on that number which is other than an airtel number.
                My doubt is all the more compounded because when some one calls from an airtel number I get connected and when the call is from a non-airtel number, it does not get connected.

                I hope you will take this matter seriously and address my complaint.

                    I Chintan Shah want to lodge a complaint against Bharti airtel. Initially I had been fooled by the salesmen for taking airtel dongle during which the scheme he showed was totally diffrent from the scheme I got.So knowing the truth about the plan I opted for disconnection of my number.The responsible authority of the airtel company called me up a told me not to dissconnect and opt for prepaid conversion of the same no. I agreed and paid all the pending dues of the bill and filled the perpaid form along with postpaid to prepaid conversion form and i was given the Prepaid SIM card on the very same day and had been told the number will automatically disconnect and prepaid sim card would get activated within 7days. But they didn't converted to my prepaid and rejected my Conversion form.After 10-12 I called them up and told the problem and the concerned person on phone its under process and would get converted very soon.I also after Some day i went to airtel gallery but the gallery authority told the server was down kindly come next day.I regularly posted my complaint on the customer care but didn't got any response and use to say that their senior would call in some time. After 2months the airtel department calls me up and asks me to pat the dues of 1600 or so. How can it be so, i posted complains regularly of my problem converted to prepaid by clearing all the dues. Its an irresponsible way of Airtel company of charging their customers. Chintan Shah

                    Have fowarded all the info on above mentioned email id, but still no response from any of the authority...Every time i get the same answer " we have fowarded your complain to senior employ and you'l get reply soo" this is haping from last 2-3 months.
                    Also The airtel gallery officials are too rude

                      I owned a Broadband connection with Airtel at my rented house in Ghaziabad. When I shifted out of that location, I requested a discontinuation at the Airtel office thru customer care 121. I was told that I needed to pay the pending amount then only my connection will be disconnected.. I paid all the due amount and my connection is closed. I also mention in call there should not be any further bill will be generated and they assured me for the same. My connection is disconnected and I shifted to Lucknow. Now after 2 months, a customer care executive is calling me and asking me that a bill is generated on my number and I have to pay the due amount 517. I told them I have paid all the outstanding amount at the time of disconnection, if you don't believe plz verify the audio recording. Now, airtel executive not listening to me and calling me 3-4 time a day in my office time and asking me to pay. Also, from last two months I didn't receive any bill generated on my mail id or sms which i usually received as a soft copy. Fixedline/Broadband Number : [protected] Account Number : [protected] Transaction Number : [protected] Payment Amount (र) : 1226.49 Please resolve this ASPA. Airtel : This is plain and simple harassment. I don't mind making a payment if there's something due from my side, but to contact me out of the blue to make this payment without any prior intimation for such a long time is not acceptable.                                 Airtel Cheating customers using 2G Data Services. My Number is [protected], I have noticed that whenever using Data service without any data plan, airtel is deducting so much money from my account, but its messages after browsing shows wrong figures and deducted amount as 0.00. When i contacted customer care they are saying our record says you have used this much of data and we can't do any thing. So the only way out for a customer is to aware others about this cheating.. I decided to confirm this by doing following exercise; Exercise to track Airtel's cheating... Date 26/06/2014 25/06 - 08:48 AM - Reset Cellular Data usage Statistics in my iPhone 26/06 - 08:50 AM - Checked Main balance (*121*2#)- it was Rs.209.00 26/06 - 08:50 AM - Enable Cellular Data(2G)- Enabled Data for WhatsApp only 26/06 - 08:58 AM - Disabled Cellular Data- Got message used some 19 MB and deducted Rs.19.00 from my main balance. 26/06 - 08:56 AM - Checked Main balance (*121*2#)- it was Rs.190.21 :-( The funniest questing is whether 2G is able to download 19MB of data in 5 minutes??? This is Airtels status and my iPhone statistics says; WhatsApp - 965KB and System Services 756KB Total usage for current period: 1.7MB The same thing is happening to my wife also, but most of them are not bothered or they dnt have time to complain about this cheating.. there Airtel makes money illegally So the only way out for a customer is to aware others about this cheating.. Its our hard earned money. Simple thought if airtel is deducting Rs.10 /customer in a day from their 200 million customers, they can earn 200 crores in a day by simply cheating...

                                    I took a new postpaid connection [protected] from airtel. But I found that I am getting no signals in area where I reside, ( Induri, Maval Taluka, Pune ). I was not able to make or receive any calls practically.

                                    Whenever I called airtel customer care I would get very random answers. Interestingly non one ever said that airtel has non coverage in that area, but they would always give assurance that this is a temporary problem 'only today' and it will become fine afterwards. Which would add to my problem as I had false hopes.

                                    Finally I had to stop using the Sim after a suffering of a week. I called for the procedure for disconnecting the phone the customer care people would try to canvass me that this is a good plan and you could keep for your future use. And after my not agreeing and trying to ask procedure for disconnection they would say that they cannot help with this and I would have to go to airtel center only (which is not there in my area at all). Seems mobile companies offer all facilities except assistance in disconnecting the phone (for obvious reasons). If company could offer a new connection without the need of a customer care center then there should be no difficulty in a terminating a connection. If there is need also then company should provide some 'Relationship Center' in the vicinity.

                                    Later I started getting calls from the 'Recovery Department' that I have not filled my bills for the number and a total of 1170 is pending to be paid. But problem is that I would get calls to frequently (upto 30 calls a day) and also they talk in a very insulting tone. Even I try to cooperate with them but they are simply rude and insulting in their behavior. I was getting calls from some Mr. Vishal Singh, From Mumbai Malad Office (Name and office is as per told by him and is told by lot of persuation). I was ready to do payment (Paying 1100 without using even once) but there is no center availavble and also not doing online.

                                    They told me that as a workaround some Ms. Tanushree told me that I can make payment to [protected] number and after giving the transaction ID they will transfer the funds to my number [protected] and the dues will be settled. But as they always call from mobiles and not from the official number I asked to send an official mail telling above procedure to which she agreed and kept the phone. After 5 mins she only called back in angry tone and started using insulting and threatening language. She was saying that you need a mail for just this 'small amount' even when I am following up for last one month, you don't have trust. Now 'I' am telling that you don't pay even a rupee also and you will see legal consequences after which you will submit it automatically. I told her that I am recording the words she is speaking, to which she became even more wild "Arre recording ki Dhamki kisko de rahe ho, main bhi record kar rahi hoon. Abhi aap court mein dekhna ki kya hota hai"

                                    Now this behaviour is out of my understanding. Even when I am trying to cooperate I am getting harassed in this way. If airtel is hearing to these complaints then I need clarification on following points.

                                    1. What are the details of bill of 1170 on my above mobile.
                                    2. Are the people calling above are authorised by airtel to call like this.
                                    3. If yes, what is your policy regarding contacting customers and dealing with them respectfully.
                                    4. In such harassment and abuse, will you issue an official apology from Airtel side.

                                      Hi, I got Airtel broadband connection 10 days back (June 15) but Internet stopped working after 3 days. I have been calling Airtel broadband customer care EVERYDAY for a week now and everytime i get a response like "Sir, issue is on server side. Your contact details are not uploaded. It will be fixed in 4 hrs /24 hrs, please restart modem and check". I spoke to a manager as well who assured me that he will immediately send email to back-end team and issue will be resolved in 6 hrs... Every day I call up, I get a strong assurance but connection is not restored. Please look into the matter. I have been facing a lot of inconvenience due to no Internet for a week now.                                         Dear Sir, from last many days i am receiving phone calls and messages from Airtel Friends Chat VAS. Though i have not registered this service then too i am receiving the calls and messages. On querying to Airtel customer care, it is told that this service is not activated on my number.
